Kevin's bonus track from the Investigators is the best honestly. We learn: - He doesn't know what ice is - He's as much of a rambler especially when making metaphors as Cecil is - He's quite desperate to talk to/connect with Cecil just to have some company so much so he creates a signal jammer to communicate between worlds - He can't lie for more than a couple of seconds (going from oh dear what is that sound who knows to yeah that's my signal jammer in like 0.1 seconds) - He clearly has no idea about when certain things are inherently worse than others (seeing making a murderer feel bad for being a murderer as equal to committing murder, seeing causing Strex to disband and making Kevin lose his job as equal to what Strex was trying to do to NV) because he wants to 'see things from everyone's pov' so bad

And the fact he has a signal jammer has basically never been brought up again, amazing lol

It turns out Cecil is a sprawler, as Kevin finds out when he wakes up the next day to find Cecil's head pillowed on his chest, limbs and torso spread out every which way atop him and Carlos like the world's wiggliest weighted blanket. Most of his actual weight is on Carlos so as not to put pressure on Kevin's mostly healed wounds, but their legs are tangled together and a hand grasps Kevin's tightly as if afraid to let go, even in sleep. Carlos, meanwhile, has his face pressed into Kevin's hair, breath tickling his ear.

It's really, really nice.

Kevin and Lauren actually make me a little bit ill. They’ve seen each other at their lowest, they’ve been there for each other when know no one else has, they’ve fought and attacked and attempted to kill each other on a pretty regular basis, and it always comes back to them two sitting with each other talking, not saying anything nice but every single word has so much history underneath it. They both know exactly they’re saying and what effect it will have on the other, they desperately want to push the other just a little further, they will never be a healthy friendship. Whatever they have is hardly recognisable as friendship now, but that’s what it is, at its core. They’ve been through hell together and they never stopped, they never slowed down. Those two will drive the other over the edge at any opportunity but they still love the other. It’s not healthy and it’s not going to be, but they do and that’s still something. The love was always there and will always be there, it just didn’t change anything, it never will change anything. But it was there, and that matters.

Whew it’s been a HOT minute y’all

Mun here! I’ve been binging WTNV the last few days (I was over 100 episodes behind and now I’m about 72 eps behind!) which put me in the mood to RP once more. No idea if the RP scene still exists since I only log into my main acct once every few months, go on a reblog spree, and then fuck off for a few more months.

Kevin saying he used to sit at the top of the desert otherworlds lighthouse (which also confused Lauren a little) proposes a lot of interesting ideas.

Namely that Kevin used to travel back and forth between the desert otherworld from somewhere in Desert Bluffs as a kid (maybe a matching dog park! anyone?) which I've said before.

And just as I've said before, isn't it also possible that Kevin wrote his little journal about 'a Smiling God ' as a kid/teen and they only decided it was holy and made him a prophet much later (possibly only when it was convenient to StrexCorp, though also possibly before that too) whether or not Kevin is aware of such.

Or ya know, he's lying lol that's always an option with Kevin. Especially because he seems intent on pretending that things are fine and never not been the way they are now.
