OKAY SO SORRY TO ANYONE WHO UNDERSTANDS KH LORE IF I GET SOMETHING WRONG BUT I WILL DO MY BEST

so in kh when you lose your heart your heart becomes a heartless and your empty husk becomes a nobody. if you have a strong will (morality is irrelevant) your nobody is basically just a person.

so in kh1 sora temporarily releases his own heart for plot reasons (dont worry about it) and so he became a heartless briefly WHICH ALSO CREATED A NOBODY!!!!!!!!!!! and that nobody is ROXAS.

they are separate entities who are connected. as namine puts it, roxas "holds half of what sora is". whatever the fuck thats supposed to mean. they share some memories i think? and by that i mean roxas has flashbacks to sora through dreams and sora gets deja vu after he and roxas reunite (and by that i mean sora eats him like a twin in the womb but dont worry about that). but theyre different people!!! also they have slightly different personalities but you can just read their wiki descriptions because i do not feel like describing them in detail

sora and all his sortas are all different people. also ventus and roxas are not the same person despite being identical. dont worry about it its fine i totally know whats going on <- (lying)

Twewy native Pre week 2 neku and kh1 Riku would be the most toxic friend group ever

I had to specify neku as twewy native because in dream drop josh straight up said they all died and that's why they got sent to traverse town. But given his lines it's clear he's at least past peak asshole neku.

OH YEAH VERY TRUE. but actually I don't even think they'd be friends, if that makes sense. Riku needs someone kind who looks up to him (like Sora and Kairi), and Neku pre-twewy... isn't that. Neku on the other hands needs people he can relate to and who share his worldviews (ex: how he got along with Joshua in week 2 and was able to have many interesting discussions with him despite, yknow, thinking Joshua murdered him). So it wouldn't actually work if there was only the two of them: Riku doesn't share Neku's values of shutting himself from people because he's scared of getting hurt & hurting them. And Neku only looks up to CAT.

Like they don’t rlly get along, but by the time of KH3 Donald is very protective (just like Goofy) and is willing to use all of his magic to protect him and his friends AND is willing to go to the ROD for him to protect him😭. If my memory serves correctly, he really looked heartbroken and worried when Sora said he wanted to go on his own. GOSH I JUST!! LOVE CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT OF EVERYONE!!! They’re all so beautiful……

Do you think the novels really adds a lot to the story ?

the novels add about as much as they can; the novels handle every seen beat-for-beat while injecting little bits here and here, so they don't really deviate too much from what happens

in terms of BBS's novelization though, it adds a great deal from the ones i've read so far. i like how it has aqua start to question whether what eraqus has taught her about light and darkness is really the whole truth. i also love how they included scenes of ven spending time at LoD and truly having a family life in stark contrast to vanitas's darker and more somber, painful existence right next to it.

not only that.. we all know i'm utterly weak for the scenes involving eraqus and xehanort like cmon--

simple and clean feels like a very sokai song especially from kairi’s perspective
