Just in case anyone was curious, throughout the sum total of their interactions in Moonlight Chicken, Alan and Gaipa are speaking to each other at an average rate of 20 "krup"s per minute. First and Khao sailed that ship through eye contact alone. You cannot convince me otherwise.

“GEE OFFICER KRUPKE!”
“KRUP YOU!”
Let’s review, Shall we?
This is the scene in West Side Story 2021 where Diesel, A-Rab, Mouthpiece, Baby John, and others I have yet to learn the names of (don’t worry I’m going to learn them just like every Newsie 😃😃), and there singing about why their no good. The song is called “Gee, Officer Krupke”.
Let’s review the first quote.
“GEE, OFFICER KRUPKE”
I love how Mouthpiece (Ben Cook) and Baby John (Patrick Higgins), their voices blend together so well! They both sound like children :D
Now the second quote.
“KRUP YOU!”
What more need be said?

Lets make some eggs! I used to eat eggs regularly, but recently, have not. I also am NOT a morning person, so anything that makes cooking breakfast less onerous is a win. So, based on a recommendation @dduane made on her blog, I picked up a Krups egg cooker. I'm going to try making an omelette.

Green onions, nutritional yeast, chives, and half a crimini mushroom, plus 2 eggs, about 3/4 tablespoon greek yogurt, and some white pepper. I left the onion flakes out, because the green onions were fresh and I didn't want them to overpower. I wasn't sure how much to use, but 2 eggs was just about right.

The unit is essentially a hot plate that uses steam to cook. It took about 8-10 minutes, plenty of time to give Her Highness some attention.
Make sure you use hot pads to take the lid off. Steam can burn you.
The top of the omelette looked great, but when I flipped it over, it clearly wasn't fully cooked. I didn't feel safe eating that, so round 2!
For round 2 was about the same, I used a little less fillings and about 1/2 tablespoon yogurt, and added about 10ml more water than the instructions recommended. Since it cooks by steam, more water = more cook time. And I figured fewer fillings = more heat to cook the egg.
And, after a little more cat tax....

That looks pretty good! I cut it open, it was cooked through and the texture felt good.
Added some cheese, ground black pepper, chives and green onions to the top and dug in.
It was delicious!
I can see myself using this pretty regularly (it's going to make some hard boiled eggs for today's lunch salad). I can see prepping a bunch of filling/topping bits on the weekend, so in the morning I can just mix eggs, add toppings and get it going.
So thanks @dduane for the recc!

#ElizabethTaylor: The Grit & Glamour of an Icon by #KateAndersenBrower #BookReview #December2022Books #Hollywood #AudiobookReview
I couldn't wait to get my hands on the first authorized biography of #ElizabethTaylor. I've read a few other books about her, so I was curious if I'd find out anything new. #KateAndersenBrower #December2022Books #BookReview #Hollywood #AudiobookReview
No celebrity rivals Elizabeth Taylor’s glamour and guts or her level of fame. She was the last major star to come out of the old Hollywood studio system and she is a legend known for her beauty and her magnetic screen presence in a career that spanned most of the twentieth century and nearly sixty films. But her private life was even more compelling than her Oscar-winning on-screen performances.…
