a/n: boxer kyungsoo came to me so randomly and hes so cute in my head i needed to get this blurb out

the sound of the front door opening and closing stirs you awake. you open your eyes and sit up on your elbows, listening for all of the familiar sounds: his feet shuffling against the old wood floors, his keys hitting the counter, the quiet sound of the faucet. they all happen, and you lay back down and close your eyes.

“soo?” you say quietly when enters the room. you sit up again and turn on the bedside lamp. he drops his bag on the floor and steps out of his shoes. you eyes follow his every movement, not stopping until he’s crawling in between you legs and up your body. “hi.” you say, putting your hand on the back of his shaved head.

“hi,” he mumbles, resting his head on your chest, his ear right on your heart. this has become his routine for the last six months. before that, he’d go out for drinks with the guys, go to the gym, or other be with his trainer.

“how was the fight?” you ask, rubbing the back of his neck. you stopped going once yoobin, your four year old daughter, was born, but he doesn’t mind. kyungsoo lifts his hips up and pull his wallet out of his pocket, and gives it to you. you open it and pull out the cash and start counting.

600 dollars.

“you won?” you ask, a small smile on your face. he snorts and nods, turning his head to look at you, his chin resting in the center of your chest. your smile falls when you notice the cut on his lip and another under his eye. “soo…” you say, your hand stilling against the back of his neck.

“i know,” he mumbles, sitting up. you follow after him and you both go into the bathroom where you make him sit on the counter while you clean his cuts.

“i dont know how long i’ve been telling you to clean these immediately,” you mutter, dabbing at the cut under his eye with a cotton ball soaked in peroxide. as long as you’ve known him, you’ve chastised him about his habit of not cleaning his cuts after a fight.

he gives you a smile, resting his hands on your hips. “i like when you take care of me,” he says, tugging you closer to him. you smile, not meeting his eyes.

“i know,” you mumble.

once you're finished cleaning the cuts, you lather them in vaseline so they don’t scar. “yoobin asleep?” he asks. you nod and kiss his cheek, removing yourself from in between his legs.

to your surprise, your daughter comes through your bedroom door at that moment, rubbing her eyes sleepily. “mommy?” she says, looking at you with tired eyes.

“yes, baby? why are you awake?” you ask, picking her up. she rests her head on your shoulder and mumbles ‘daddy’. “he’s here, baby.” you say, pushing her hair back and kissing her forehead.

kyungsoo comes out of the bathroom, changed into sleep clothes. he smiles when he sees you both, holding out his arms to take his daughter. “hi, princess,” he says softly, holding her close to his chest when you pass her over. she wraps her tiny arms around his neck and kyungsoo rubs her back. “did we wake you up?” he asks, smoothing out her hair. you crawl into the bed and watch them interact.

“i heard you," she says sleepily. kyungsoo crawls into the bed next to you, not letting go of yoobin until she gets herself comfortable in between the both of you. "daddy, what happened to your face? did you fall again?" she questions with a gasp when she gets a good look at him.

he gingerly touches the cuts that you just cleaned. "yeah, princess, i fell," he says, giving her a small smile. she frowns up at him, not believing the lie he's been telling her ever since she could talk and started noticing the marks on him.

"be careful," she says to him, sounding just like you when you talk to her. kyungsoo chuckles and pulls your daughter into his side, scooting closer to you and squishing her between the both of you.

it doesn't take long for yoobin to knock out. you glance over at kyungsoo and gently squeeze his shoulder. he looks over at you, and a silent message passes between the two of you; we did good, your gesture says. i love you, his eyes say.

kyungsoo wouldn't give up this moment for anything.

A disheveled and drenched Doh Kyungsoo’s eyes bore into your soul as an ungodly smirk tugged at his full, bloodied lips. He ran the blunt edge of the dagger over the open gash across his right eyebrow - the one he never let heal - the one that kept the desire for revenge burning in the pit of his stomach. 

With every painfully slow step he took towards you, you took a step back towards the drawer in which your loaded 9mm Parabellum sat ready to be fired. Only if you make it in time…. The sudden loud clap of thunder almost made you jump but you somehow managed to hold an alert stance.

“Tsk, tsk”, he mocked, “you let your guard down… you thought i’d never find you. I had promised you, Detective. I had promised that my dagger would find that sweet slender neck of yours.”

He exhaled sharply licking the blood off his lower lip as his gaze lingered on the little cactus tattoo that peeked through your low cut, wine colored cami dress.

“Look at you all dressed up. Hope I’m not keeping you from your date, Detective! Hell, had you not arrested me, I would have definitely asked you out myself. But I am an optimist, Detective. I have a higher purpose, if you will. I think the world can do with one less haughty woman. Too bad blood is going to be the ruin of this pretty little dress you have on”, his face contorted into a ghastly smile as his body met yours, pressing you against the wall. His one hand tightened around your waist and the other lightly traced the outline of your crimson lips with the dagger.

Your hand gradually moved towards the handle of the drawer as you tried to distract him, “The Great Mafia Leader Doh Kyungsoo”, you spat, “here without our minions, are we?” Your eyes grew wide in horror as you found your hand groping around an empty drawer.

“Soo, where’s the damn water gun!”, you exclaim.

You have been friends with benefits for a while, sometimes made movie nights together and hang outs and not officially in a relationship yet, so you invited him to come over to talk. He arrived a few minutes later and you pulled him to the couch to sit down.

"Are you okay?" He asked a little worried by your seriousness and leaned closer.

"What is it?" You had butterflies swarming on your stomach by adrenaline and the scary thought of failure on your mind, you squeezed his hand in the space between the two of you and gathered the courage to say it.

"I' love you. As more than a friend, I mean." He seemed surprised for a minute while you waited for some kind of response but soon he smiled seemingly relieved. It was your turn to be surprised when he wrapped a hand on your neck and pulled you closer in a light kiss.

"I was worried you were going to say you found someone else. Good thing I was wrong, because I love you too."

Yixing spent the day on his studio and you were worried since you knew that he often neglected himself when working, so you decided to pay him a visit in the evening and got food on the way.

Baekhyun invited you to a late night ride to the Hand River to enjoy the view with you with no interruptions. He put Bambi to play on the bluetooth and you both of you opened the doors to go to the back seats, getting comfortably close to cuddle.

"You're so warm, I love it.." You sigh laying your head on his wide shoulder and he wrapped his arms around you, spreading his fingers lightly along the soft skin of your cheek and bringing your chin up to look at him.

"And I love you." You traced the veins on his arm. It was exactly then that you felt him as yours, belonging to each other. You pressed your lips to his in a sweet kiss and separating a few seconds later.

"I love you too.." He nuzzles on your neck, humming softly in your ear to the music playing from his phone.

Chen

(I spent a long time wondering if I should write about him romantically now that he's actually married, and after much thought I came to the conclusion that yes, I will still write for him since this is just fiction and it won't do any harm to his actual relationship. If you're uncomfortable you can skip his part.)

It happened in the first holiday you were spending together with his parents. You had been wanting to say it for quite some time before that moment and had nearly said it on a few occasions but chickened out. The urge was stronger when he showed little gestures of cuteness that were his personal ways of saying “I love you” without words. Then he decided to take the lead and say it first in the middle of the kitchen in the early hours of the morning after making you tea.

“Pardon?” Just because you wanted to be sure that you've heard him right.

"I love you." He repeated himself, this time closer to you and then of course, you didn't hesitate to say it right back.

Chanyeol

You and Chanyeol were on your first trip together to a small town away from Seoul to see the cherry blossoms. It's the new season and the view is beautiful to see together on a hiking.

"Yeol! Look at this one!" You pointed at the biggest tree you saw until now and Chanyeol smiled taking pictures of you and the tree, wanting to register the moment. You run to his side and hug him by the neck, took his phone and clicked selfies while kissing his cheek, causing him to laugh wholeheartedly hugging you tight.

"You're so cute, I love you." He mumbled booping your nose. You were unknowingly recording, the rush of dopamine in your brain and quickening of your heart as your thoughts only focused on him.

"I love you too!" You replied with excitement, taking advantage of the empty place to shower him with many kisses, all of it staying engraved on his phone.

You were preparing the salad when you heard the beeps of the code on the front door, meaning Kyungsoo arrived. He smelled the food and heard the noises coming from the kitchen, so he rolled up his sleeves and walked until he found you. You turn around to greet him as he took in the sight and stared back at you.

"Are you hungry? Dinner is almost ready!" You could practically see his irises dilating and he wrapped an arm over your hips and planted a light kiss on both of your cheeks and lips.

"You're the best, I love you." Your arms tighten on his back through the surprise but still gathered the courage to answer with a giggle as he nuzzles his nose on your neck.

"I love you too."

Kai

"Okay, now we really should hang up, you need to rest for tomorrow." You point out after seeing it's close to midnight.

"Dream about me." He said at last and hung up, both of you fluttered by the moment.

Sehun had gone out with the members for dinner and later arrived at your door by taxi since he drank a little too much.

"There's my pretty doll." He greets slurring his words as you helped him in and took his jacket.

"Come closer, I'll tell you a secret.." You get curious about what he was going to say in the first time you're seeing him drunk and scoots closer to him.

"Yes?"

"Hi." Sehun draped his arms around you, pulling you even closer to talk right on your ear.

"Hi."

"Baby."

"Yes?"

"I love yooou" He said followed by a fit of giggles from his drunk self and you squeeze his cheeks to make him focus.

"I love you too, silly." You kiss his face and wrap your hands around his torso. Someway Sehun end up tripping while kicking off his shoes and leads both of you to the ground, you above him.

imagine one night you try to cook a surprise meal for your boyfriend, kyungsoo, when you end up burning your hand on the pan. right as you let out a loud yelp of surprise, kyungsoo came through the front door. tossing his briefcase aside, he rushed over to you and led you to the sink, running cold water over your palm while shutting the stove off. after shutting the water, he ran to get your first aid kit. you patted your hand dry and sat next to him, holding your hand out for him to examine. pressing a soft kiss next to the burned skin, he smeared some aloe gel all over your palm before wrapping your hand in gauze and medical tape. you told him to save the nagging, explaining that you were trying to surprise him with his favorite meal and you did not realize that the handle of the pan would be extra hot. smiling softly, kyungsoo kissed your forehead, opting to finish cooking the meal you had planned out. after eating, kyungsoo placed an ice pack on your palm and lead you to the couch, where you picked up on that one show you loved to make fun of. curling close to him, you smiled to yourself, endlessly happy to have such a wonderful boyfriend who takes good care of you.

꒰2:30 p.m.꒱ You shut your locker door with a sharp clang and shrug on your backpack, ready to dash home from another long day of school. You feel a tap on your shoulder and whirl around, instantly smiling when you see your close friend, Kyungsoo, standing in front of you with a bashful smile. “Hey,” he says, “sorry to hold you, but I wanted to give you something.” He speaks calmly, but it’s evident that he is borderline nervous. He presents a heart-shaped chocolate box the color of red velvet, and you lightly gasp as you take it. “There’s a note”—he indicates towards the letter tied onto the box by a ribbon—“but could you wait till you get home to open it?”

“What if I already know my answer?” you say with a grin, causing him to blush and reluctantly allow you to open it there. Your smile only grows as you read through his confession, and you finally glance up at him with bright eyes. “I was right, and my answer is yes, I will go out with you.” 

With a relieved and happy beam, Kyungsoo wraps his arms around you and pulls you in for a hug.
