Top 5 Hungarians, sparkly or not
Ahsgfhdh I probably don't know 5 Hungarians (and my answers will probably be very predictable) 😅😅😅 this is embarrassing
Máté Kamarás. The man, the legend, the revolution. The world has never been the same since he did that AAAaaaAAAAaaaAAAA during Carpe Noctem (TdV 1997), it's been icon things only from there ahhdhhsjfjs. He's one of my favourite actors ever
2. I have to put Sylvester Levay for shredding on the... whatever he uses to compose. Even KKOG/Rondo sounds sooo good, all the bad parts are Michael Kunze's fault (just kidding ahfhjhf)
3. Serban Attila because I keep listening to his Szegény kissrác panaszai on Spotify + he's an iconic Young Hungarian Nobleman (of 2005 Elisabeth DVD fame)
4. Szabo P Szilveszter (I don't watch a lot of Hungarian musicals but he's very pretty and what I've seen points to him being awesome)
5. Lol what if I just put Jácint János Rónay (Rudolf's history teacher)

@wolfgangamaderik tagged me in this 10 songs I can’t live without game, so here goes.
My music taste is really a revolving door, like ask me again in like a month or two and you’ll get some real different answers. So, here my weird list of musical and opera songs ‘cause that’s all I listen to [kinda in order]
1. The Catalogue aria (Madamina, il catalogo e questo) from Don Giovanni by Mozart song by Luca Pisaroni preferably in the Glyndebourne production (A++++ I just fucking love this song and Pisaroni’s singing and acting! I really love the new staging in the Glyndebourne’s verison with it using the newer faster tempe and using pictures instead of a written list for Don Gio’s conquests. A+ all around kinda my fav song rn.)
2. “Deh, vieni alla finestra” from Don Giovanni by Mozart. Preferably sung by Peter Mattei (such a beautiful, almost lullaby song and I love Mattei’s lighter baritone voice singing it, well lighter compared to say, Dmitri Hvorostovsky!)
3. “Là ci darem la mano” from I swear this is the last one Don Giovanni by Mozart. I picked Bryn Terfel and Renee Fleming’s verison (Such a beautiful “love” song. I also really like Rodney Gilfry’s singing and his acting. But I really perfer Bryn Terfel’s singing A+. The Siberian Tiger of the Opera world, Dmitri Hvorostovsky, is also really good in this song)
4. “Someone Else’s Story” From Chess by the two guys from Abba, Bjorn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson (Picked the swedish version sung by Helen Sjöholm, but I also really like the Judy Kuhn and Kerry Ellis versions. Also gotta name drop the Carolee Carmello and Jodi Benson versions. Man, I really love this song! I’ve been singing it under my breath when bored for the past month)
5. The Deal (No Deal) also from Chess by half of Abba (Picked the shorten verison from the 1994 concert in Gothenburg. Only picked this one as I really like how Tommy Korberg sounds in this. The Freddie, Anders Glenmark, is pretty good in this.)
6. Endgame from I really fucking love this musical okay” Chess by the Bs of ABBA (Picked this one cause Tommy Körberg is on FIRE in this one. He gives an 11/10 performance. Amazing. Although any Endgame with Körberg is pretty good. I really don’t like the Svetlana, Sissel Kyrkjebø. She was way too young to sing the role and it shows, it’s like monotone and bland through out. Well, she also is swedish, so she probably didn’t know English good enough at the time to sing it with passion, ya know? PS Körberg was like twice her age in this one, so kinda creepy since in the musical their charater’s are married The one with Philip Jalmelid and Kristin Lidström is much better, Svetlana wise, and I really like it, but Körberg was so amazing in that first verison so it makes up for Kyrkjebø’s meh job.)
7. “Vildgräs” from Kristina från Duvemåla by the same dudes who did Chess and Mamma Mia sung by Philip Jalmelid (OKAY, I’m kinda not a fan of Kristina, only read the wiki summery and listen to this song and guldet blev till sand [another good song, especially the Tommy Körberg one that earns an Honorable mention since i love Korberg’s voice], but Vildgräs is such a great song. Love it. Such a banger to me.)
8. Der einfache Weg from Mozart das musical by Sylvester Levay and Michael Kunze (picked the Mark Seibert & Oedo Kuipers since Seibert is really good in the role. Also really like the Magyar verison with  Szabó P. Szilveszter & Dolhai Attila. Honorable mention since I really like Szabo, like fav Hungairan musical theatre singer.)
{{{Need to Mention to Gold falls from Heaven (orig Gold von den Sternen) from the English recorded Mozart promo thing sung by Ana Milva Gomes. The only place you can find it is on tumblr or on the orig website for the 2015 production. You can download it with a bit of elbow grease. Same goes for Somewhere’s there’s always a Ball (orig Irgendwo wird immer getanzt) sung by Franziska Schuster. I really love both of the songs and sing them like Someone Else’s Story, but I really like the English verisons as it’s in my native tongue and I’ve listened to them more than the German versions. So cause of this and since I can’t link them on youtube, I’m not adding them, but they’re kinda my real 9 and 10 also I already wrote out the 9 and 10 before remembering these songs and i dont wanna redo it}}}
9. Totale Finsternis from Tanz der Vampire by Jim Steinman (picked Ivan Ozhogin and Mercedesz Csampai ‘s verison. I LOVE Ozhogin, so I picked this version in the orig Deutsch, also I find the height diff between them at the end hilarious. I really like Kevin Tarte and Jessia Kressler verison as that proshot was my first Tanz. I also Love all the Russian verisons with all the different combos of singers. Oh! and Florian Soyka. And Jan Ammann. Honorable mention to Rob Evan’s verison in concerts since he sang the role once in the bway verison.)
10. Wenn Ich Tazen Will from Elisabeth by Sylvester Levay and Michael Kunze (picked the Ivan Ozhogin and Vera Sveshnikova verison in Russian from a concert. I really love Ozhogin, okay? Also Vera’s pretty good in this. And the staging is awesome. Love the strings, making her his puppet, like in the lyrics she says she won’t be his puppet, or something like that, i’m American. Really like the 2006 Mate Kamaras and Maya Hakvoort one as that proshot was my first Elisabeth.)
Okay, that’s my 10(ish) songs I can’t live without!
I’m not sure who’s done this before, but I’ll tag @janylate  @theadventuresofacatholicnerdling  @bitemyshinymetalaustralopithecus
