Ari had spent the day making you a necklace from the pearls he had found whilst swimming. He smiled as his name glistened between the pearls, and the golden letters stood out between the white balls. The moment you open it, a small gasp escapes you. Eyes wide and shocked, you look at Ari and back down at the necklace. Your finger traces the pearls and his name. “Ari… It’s beautiful. Did you make this?” Ari smiles nervously, nodding before a grunt escapes him as you tackle him. Your tiny body is clinging onto him, peppering his face with kisses. “I love you. I love you. I love you! It’s the most beautiful thing anyone has ever made me, and I will never take it off!” You quickly spin, handing the necklace to him and lifting your hair into a makeshift ponytail.

Ari grabs hold of it, clipping the piece of homemade jewellery to your neck and smiling at how pretty it looks on you. “I’m glad you like it, baby girl. It looks beautiful on you.” His hand rests on your back as you turn around and look at him with a dazed, loved look in your eyes. Ari strokes your cheek, smiling softly at you. “You okay, baby girl?” You nod, nuzzling your face into his palm and pressing a kiss into it.

“Thank you, Ari. I’m so lucky to have you in my life.”
