Every now and then when I see someone trying to argue that Brandon Sanderson is this like, brazenly sexist Fridgewives Georg because of the times female characters die in his books, I get an itch to turn it around on them and argue that he actually really hates people's brothers, because I can think of a whole list of those that he's killed off. Just off the top of my head:

Vin lost Reen

Kelsier and Marsh is just a big two-way loss-fest

Honestly I don't think Zane really counts but he is in there technically

Yes!! I love Lightsong! He'd easily be my favorite character in Warbreaker if it weren't for the fact that my favorite character in the whole cosmere was also in it. And his interactions with Llarimar are the best part.

And please, feel free to gush about Warbreaker with me. You have me at least half-convinced to reread it again! Scratch that I own this book and am currently holding it you've convinced me for a long overdue reread.

Let’s say that Nalthis has all the same animals as earth does, so that I don’t have to worry about that! What might their favorite animal be?

Siri: Chameleons!

Siri: They basically have Royal Locks, just like me!

Susebron: I like rabbits. Baby ones.

Susebron: Not only are they very soft and sweet, but when they’re around me, they glow with iridescent light.

Denth: Back in the day, there was this Awakened squirrel that just...latched on to Vasher and refused to let go.

Vasher: Clownfish.
