I think the most terrifying god is Evernight. Like girl has existed since the 2nd Epoch and literally every single one of her plans has gone by perfectly and she has never once lost out. All her enemies are dead or in a state worse than death.

In the 2nd Epoch she was a subsidiary god of Flegrea who was a crazy, violent god of two non-neughboring pathways, Seer and Darkness. The day he died she was right next to him and she definitely got the characteristics and uniqueness she needed when he fell. And in this period of chaos, she managed to ascend as the sequence 0 of the Darkness pathway. Also there were no potion sequences at this time because the ASG hadn’t arrived yet with his Blasphemy Slate so girl was just winging it.

In the 3rd Epoch she managed to get away with being a god with the ASG in power (who killed like every other god at this time) and joined Rose Redemption which ended up actually killing ASG (I dunno if she meant to do that though).

In the 4th Epoch she was constantly embroiled in wars and also eradicates the Nation of Evernight turning Antigonus’ sister into a vessel and eliminates the Antigonus family. Death also dies and she keeps an eye on Azik (meaning she knows he holds Death’s uniqueness). She also manages to become one of the major gods of Loen which is one of the most powerful countries besides Intis.

In the 5th Epoch she manages to gain Death’s uniqueness as well as control over the pathway and Artificial Death. It’s also revealed that she concealed Lilith to become Earth Mother all the way in the 2nd Epoch and just waited until the coming of the apocalypse to have Lilith betray the God of Combat and kill him leading her to gain the Twilight Giant uniqueness and then full control over all her neighboring pathways.

It’s almost certain at this point that Evernight is just waiting for the apocalypse to happen so she attempt to ascend and become a Great Old One. She’s allies with everyone she needs to be and is miraculously on decent terms with Adam as well as all the other orthodox gods. Klein owes her a bunch of favors and Lilith and her clearly have some sort of deal going on. Even Klein admits that he’s extremely grateful that she’s his ally and not enemy since he also realizes she’s never lost (when musing about the war between Loen and Feysac) and how he loses to her in plotting. Literally the worst enemy to have amongst the gods in LOTM.
