It’s been a while since I’ve uploaded a Midnight Synth Session so I thought I’d share one I did a few months ago but never got the chance to share at the time. I always love the synth pads/ sound patches I find on my Roland and I love simply vibing on the feeling of the synth. Right now my Roland Fantom X8 is in storage 😭 But I’m tempted to break it out because I miss these synth improv jam session so much! The full video is around 5mins long so I might upload it to YouTube if anyone is interested in seeing/hearing the whole session. Anyways, I hope you guys enjoy this mini synth sesh. ✨Inside the vastness of the universe, who are you?✨

My new EP & final release of this year is finally OUT now on Bandcamp today!!! My last release Dream-Land was released at the beginning of 2023. So I’m happy to finally share something I’ve been working on! I’m so excited to share “Visions of a Nobody”! It was an EP born out of inspiration, healing and wonderment of the universe. It includes 3 tracks + one bonus track that is a Bandcamp exclusive track for this release. Meaning the bonus track will not be added to any other streaming platform, just as an added little feature of this particular release.

Here’s my jam sessions I did yesterday! 🕺🏻 These were actually two separate synth jam sessions I did yesterday and I decided to combine them randomly to see how they sounded together and even though it doesn’t match up completely with the tempo, I think it sounds pretty cool! ✌️ It’s inspired me to try and sync them up with each other for my next session and try actually playing them together. I’ve mentioned this before, but I’m fairly new to these types of analog synths so everything takes longer for me when I’m tweaking it and trying to find sounds I like. It’s been a process which I’m sure anyone who has experience with analog synths understand this. Haha. I have much more experience with polyphonic workstation synths. So I’m still learning how to patch, etc. But this one was super fun and I finally feel like I’m truly starting to get the hang of it. Haha. I’m honestly in love with the way they both sound and wanted to share!✨🎛🎚✨

Weekend plans = Spending time with these two beautiful machines 🤖 I only started my semi-modular/ modular synth journey a few months ago. I’ve always been a workstation type synth person with the fuller keyboards and polyphonic pad synth features. Lol. But I’m so happy I invested in getting these synths. It’s opened me up to whole new experiences. They bring me so much joy. And it’s really turned into something so relaxing to me to just sit down a tinker away at finding cool new sounds and beats - even if I’m not the greatest at it yet. Lol. It’s really the best and super fun! What are you weekend plans? Tell me what you have going on 💜

⚡️New lighting⚡️

I finally got a chance to put some of my lights back up in my studio this weekend! And I added way more panels than last time too! Lol. I’m loving the way it looks so far! Lighting has always been super important to me especially when I work. And with the darker months fast approaching, I knew I needed some more light in this studio corner of mine to feel good about my space. It’s a great way to start off the Monday! ✌️✨

So yesterday I decided to make a more permanent home for my music studio area. I took back my original studio space room since it was pretty much completely empty anyways for potentially selling my house. I did a similar vid about a month ago. But that was more of a temporary space than anything because of house showings. The studio has to remain a little more white washed then I’d personally prefer. Nothing “niche” or “weird” to random cookie-cutter people coming thru here 😭😂 But I’m incredibly grateful to have everything even more accessible & ready to create now! I love this room a lot so I’m happy to be back in it for now. I can easily work on my new album now that I have a bigger, quieter space & hopefully this helps the process speed along a bit 💿✌️

I love it on my wall 😍 This is a rarely seen side of my studio currently. I used to have all my equipment on this black wall of my music studio but I ended up moving it closer to my window for the winter to get my light during the day while I work. But this is still my favorite area. I love this black wall. I painted it in the pandie out of boredom and have loved it ever since. I finally found a frame that fits this complimentary poster I got with my Moog DFAM synth. I couldn’t be happier. I think it looks really cool on this wall and I’m proud of it. Lol.

Do you display your complimentary posters/ artwork you sometimes get with sound equipment or do you just store them away? Also does anyone know who makes the artwork for these Moog posters? They’re so good! 🙌
