I'm tired of grilling millennium world but i made this anyway. Retcon of Millennium World Vol. 4, Chapter 36 Vs The Ultra Spirit Beast. The first two statements are direct quotes from the translation.

not a fan of atem's 'feels bad about genocide but doesn't do shit about it anyway' narrative for the same reason i ain't a fan of TKB's 'is against the privileged using their power to oppress the masses but uses his power to massacre the masses anyway'.

I can maybe get behind the latter. But only if TKB was explicitly under the influence of Zorc. Little Bakura manipulated by Zorc into an agreement and Zorc being in the driver seat ever since sounds pretty interesting. Would at least explain whatever the fuck's going on with Yami Bakura.

Apparently you can move your art file [layers and all] from procreate to clip studio if you save it in psd format. So I made this on procreate and did the speech bubbles and paneling on clip.

I've always interpreted Atem as someone who wants to make things right, but doesn't really know how. He is also prone to getting tunnel vision in his quest. Most of the time, he either fights the problem or throws his life at it.

So, he doesn't really think of the consequences here. His thought process is just; Bakura wants to kill him because of kul elna. What happened to Kul Elna is wrong. Therefore letting Bakura kill him will make things right.

Being willing to die for what he believes is right sounds very in-character for atem.

I headcanon that Atem's an amazing singer. It just comes naturally to him. He wows everyone during karaoke nights.

nothing special about his dancing though. He has flexibility and coordination sure. He ain't bad. Anzu says he has potential. But it ain't really his thing.

Cooking is something he had no idea how to do at the start. Would overcook everything, or get oil splattering everywhere. But he eventually learned not to burn food.

he isn't tech illiterate, but he has an 'if it ain't broke don't fix it' mentality regarding tech. It drives Kaiba nuts.
