🍫 Secondo

mostly unrelated to the emoji but i do wanna think about secondo taking copia to a rager for the first time and having approximately five breakdowns along the way. not because copia's there but more because this is just the way he is and partying is not enough to soothe the ache in his soul etc.

like secondo is a few shots in and that's the only thing holding him back from a full-scale panic attack and he keeps telling copia shit like, "it's too late for me. but you...it's not too late. for you." and copia's standing there like "ok! i can't hear you :D"

anyway then copia has to drag secondo into a cab. this was also copia's first time in a gay club but he was not aware of this fact.

2. My kneejerk answer to this is Copia because of Autism to Autism communication BUT. ALSO. Primo. I like how much he’s associated with plants. If he lets me work in the garden while infodumping well that would be just fine.

3. EXTREMELY introverted. I mean I try to be nice but like. I feel like a phone battery on its last legs when I’m around other people. I will not initiate interactions like. Unless I have time to prepare lol

4. I actually really like cleaning my room. It helps to know where everything is.

5. LOVE staying at home but I like the idea of traveling? Comfort and safety vs the potential to see sights and try food. Both are nice I guess!

6. I’m really into biology, especially parasites and fungi. I have this really cool habit of reading something scary and thinking about it for the next month for enjoyment. I collect plush toys and want to start making my own soon! I’ve got bad legs and anxiety and I’m tired a lot but I am TRYING. I am super duper good at jobs with Rules and Clear Instructions and Repetition.

The role in ministry event ended on July 20th

You grow fungi and also give Primo advice on parasites. He is very glad to have your expertise, as its a subject he hasn’t studied as much.

He also loves that you have a passion for biology you two chat about it a lot.

He is very content to work in the garden with you and listen to you. If you want he can also tell you some really cool things.

He is very understanding and supportive. He has a comfy bench set up for you in the garden, so you can sit down and rest whenever you need to. He is careful not to give you any job that might make your legs worse.

He is a very calming prescence and he's good for your anxiety. He knows how introverted you are so he always waits for you to come to him to chat. But if he sees you are sad or stressed he will bring you a cup of tea and give your shoulder a friendly squeeze.

He knows you are trying and he always appreciates your efforts, he will never push you to do more. He is just very happy to have someone else around who loves plants as much as he does.

He gifted you a plush toy at the end of the year, one you had been wanting for a while.

He'll often give you jobs that allow you to be on your own if you want, especially when you go and tend to the fungi.

🔥 ummmm fallout. :]

I don't talk to fallout fans bc a lot of them are scary so idk how unpopular of an opinion this is but ummm the 1st game is the best one. Sorry. I know the isometric games get way overshadowed by their successors mostly because of age and new vegas is one of the best games to ever grace this planet, but the 1st one is just such a good tone setter for the series, and although 2 really gives it the flavor of silliness we know today, I think the 1st one is just like. Better. Like I personally care more about the vault you come from over the village and the dialogue is a little more grounded.

New vegas arguably is just objectively a better game because of course the tech was better and they could really flesh the characters out more that we see, like arcade and Veronica and lily, vs Ian who shoots you in the dick every other combat encounter bc the mechanics were janky and you don't know anything about him other than he's traveled around the wasteland and is a gun for hire. You get some flavor text in the hub and junk town and things and the same goes for other companions but honestly I think like lily is more fleshed out than all the original companions combined. But all that aside it's just much more personal than new vegas; you're trying to save your home and you get swept up into trying to save the wasteland you were just thrust into, vs new vegas where you're you're Different kind of Some Guy who just kind of showed up. Which is fine it works, and the differences of why these two set up work is an entirely different discussion, but yea.

I think the first one is just the first step in a series that would eventually become what it is today(for better or for worse) and just is The Best one to me...i know the mechanics are well Bad and the visuals aren't as sharp but it presents you with a world that I personally want to see so so much more of and it's a really good hook to the entire series. The masters monologue if you get the ending where you talk him out of his army plus the overseer kicking you out when you're finally ready to go home; I'm not sure nv ever spurred that much of an emotional reaction from me. I care about the world, and the characters, and the people, but it just doesn't feel quite as intimate to me as the first one.

I guess not unpopular in our circle but in the greater fandom: Karamatsu is not fucking Fabio 2.0. He's a little freak just like the rest of them. He's not the "nicest" one either. I think they literally all have the capacity to be kind when they want to be. Karamatsu is just mostly passive with no backbone until he starts getting more aggressive.

People see a character being beaten up constantly for comedic effect and think he is the most tragic character to have ever existed.

THAT BEING SAID I DO LIKE KARAMATSU. He's my least favorite but he's so funny. It's just that people are such freaks over him.
