Cards drawn on the 15th of May, 2024

Question: Are Meghan and Harry actively trying to kill The King?

As I was shuffling the cards for this reading, two cards flew out. I was going to draw one card for Meghan, one for Harry, and one for them as a couple, plus the underlying energy, but those two cards told me everything I needed to know.

This is a two card reading

Warning: This reading contains some of the ugliest energy I have ever encountered in all my years of tarot reading. Please prepare yourself before you read it and do not read it if you are feeling at all upset/despondent/shaky/insecure etc. You need to be protected by God/Jesus/the angels/the universe/whomever you call upon to protect you before you read this reading.

Answer: Yes

Card One: The Three of Swords

This is the card that flew out of my deck as I was shuffling. One look and I had my answer.

The Three of Swords is a card of grief, heartbreak, despair. It shows King Agamemnon being killed in his bath by his wife Clytemnestra and her lover.

Clytemnestra brooded over past injuries done to her by the King until she decided to kill him. In this card she represents Harry, with his belief that the BRF has ''victimised' him (e.g. by taking away his military honours).

Her lover, Aegisthus, believed his family has been betrayed by the father of Agamemnon and had been conceived to take revenge on the family. He represents Meghan, with her belief that the BRF has hurt her (eg no one asked me if I was Ok, no one cared about my mental health, they are racist and all her other lies) and her desire for vengeance on them.

The picture shows the death of the rightful King by Clytemnestra and her lover. I am taking this as the death of The King at the hands of Harry and Meghan, in answer to my question. Harry and Meghan want to kill The King. They want to inflict the grief and heartbreak and despair of his death on the BRF.

Card Two: The Eight of Swords in reverse

The energy of this card is of stress. The reverse position has intensified the upright energy (as it sometimes does) instead of reversing the meaning of it. It also adds a delayed time element to the energy.

Harry and Meghan want to use stress to kill The King. They wants him to feel trapped, hemmed in, unable to move or escape, especially mentally. This card can represent someone who is trapped/paralysed by their thoughts and who feels helpless, and that is the energy of the card - what Meghan and Harry want to invoke in The King.

There is a very strong relentless energy to this card - Meghan and Harry will not give up until The King either a) abdicates in their favour (yes, I know that is not possible, but we are dealing with two delusional people here) or b) drops dead from stress - stroke, heart attack, cancer, they do not care.

There is a vicious energy to this card that lashes out repeatedly until the desired object is achieved - an energy I can only describe as stabbing, over and over again, until the person is dead. There is a chant going through my mind of 'stab stab stab kill kill kill' as I type this. The 'stabs' are emotional and stress wounds.

These two cards tell me that Meghan and Harry have planned to kill The King and they will not stop until it is accomplished - and then they will turn their attention to Prince William.

This is truly ugly energy - vicious, self-centred, and laser focused on their desires with no thought of anyone else.

Because it is so ugly I asked for a third card as confirmation, just to make sure I am on the right track about this, as it is a horrible thing to say about anyone.

Confirmation Card: King of Cups in reverse

The King of Cups is the card for Scorpio, and as such it represents King Charles, who is a sun sign Scorpio. In the reverse, it shows King Charles in decline, weakened, not strong and happy (that would be the card upright). The card represents King Charles in his role as a person, father/husband/uncle etc, and not in his role as King. To have it in reverse as a confirmation card is a definite yes. Harry and Meghan want The King to die and they are actively trying to bring this about.

Just in case there is any doubt, the card after this was The Seven of Swords.

The Seven of Swords - deceit, trickery, lies, scheming - with the pictures showing Orestes creeping into the city/palace to kill his mother for murdering his father. The card showing a son in the act of murdering a parent and the meaning of the card - thief, lies, deceit, scheming - confirm the message above and add to it - Harry and Meghan are trying to kill The King so they can steal what is his for themselves.

Notice that all the suit cards I am pulling are Swords - the suit of thoughts, plans, and strategies. Another confirmation. There is no emotion involved here (that would be Cups) - just a cold and merciless desire to remove someone who stands in the way of their plans.

This is revolting energy and I am going to stop now.

A note of hope - just because Harry and Meghan are actively trying to do this, there is no guarantee that they will succeed, especially if we pray for The King and for Prince William and his family and/or we send them protective energy. St Michael the Archangel is a good angel to ask to protect them if anyone is so inclined.

Exactly, and William, Sam Cohen, and TB agree with you. Meghan, and Harry too in his married Sussex iteration, were only senior working royals for 18 mos – not coincidentally, the exact amount of time that Sam Cohen worked with them. She left BP right after their disastrous SA tour, at the same time the Sux fled to Canada (first for Thanksgiving/Christmas 2019,, and then for Megxit in Jan 2020). IMO Megxit was in full swing by summer 2019…and possibly even before their wedding. MM never disbanded her US team, never pursued British citizenship, kept her belongings in storage in North America lol, and both were negotiating commercial deals by summer 2019. She had always planned on returning (“triumphantly”) to LA, and H&M hoped to do that by manifesting half-in/half-out…in the US.

Also, Empress, TB’s article shines new light on the dog bowl/necklace incident. Did William, in confronting H about Meghan’s desire to return to the US, expose Harold’s desire to flee as well, thus enraging H, who lunged at W first in response to W’s allegations? I’ve always thought that H started that tussle but twisted it around in Spare.

Thank you for this anon, and you raise a good question in the end. It’s quite possible that the alleged confrontation between William and Harry was about William confronting Harry about his ulterior motive (moving to the US). William has always been prescient when it comes to seeing bullshit from a mile away. Yes he confronted Harry about Meghan’s bullying the staff, but it’s also very likely William called Harry out on what was really going on.

It looks like Meghan may be test-driving yet another narrative to handle the criticism about her failure to royal: it's all Harry's fault.

This started last week when reporters and journalists were speculating whether the Sussexes, had they stayed in, would have been able to help KP squash all the noise about Kate's condition and help BP squash the nosie about the royal family's bench strength by stepping up royal work. Hugo Vickers more or less said "no, because the Sussexes are only in it for themselves. Meghan wouldn't step up unless she personally benefited. She would have seen nothing in it for herself and would refuse to work."

So cue Esther Krakue, who appeared on Sky News Australia today. She agrees with Vickers that the Sussexes wouldn't have stepped up, but says it's because of Harry. Not Meghan. And the way she lays the blame squarely on Harry, she plays to both sides of the royal fence:

For the squaddies, she says "it's Harry's fault Meghan was a terrible royal because he made her start working before she was ready and willing."

For the rest of us, she says "Meghan lacked the temperament to be a proper royal because she wanted to be in charge and it's Harry's fault because he should have prepared her better."

That she speaks to both sides is making it a little harder to see whether this is Meghan setting up for a divorce narrative or whether this is an olive branch PR.

A quick disclaimer. I've no idea where Krakue falls in the royal reporting spectrum (is she a Sussex mouthpiece? Is she a straight-shooting royalist? Or does she go where the paycheck is?)

For me, I come down on "well, this feels like pre-emptive divorce narrative." Mainly because Meghan has been laying groundwork since 2017 for a domestic violence-based divorce narrative and "Harry forced Meghan to work" not only plays into that, it also implies he threatened Meghan.

Anyway. Here's the story.

And by the way, did you know this is the 11th time Meghan has tried to rewrite the story of her royal career? Let's review them!

#1. While they were dating/pre-engaged (2016 - late 2017): I’ll be the bestest duchess to duchess, better than Kate.

#2. While they were engaged (late 2017 - mid-2018): I’m going to hit the ground running and everyone will be so impressed The Queen will make me her heir.

#3. While “in” for 72 days (mid-2018 - late 2019): I’m only supporting my preferred charities and best friends, how dare you *coat flick*

#4. While Megxiting (late 2019 - March 2020): I don’t need the royals to do good work. They’re old-fashioned anyway. Watch me hit the ground running and being the bestest duchess to duchess.

#5. During the pandemic (March 2020 - March 2021): I’m not bound by the code of ethics the royals are so I can volunteer and support my most passionate causes, politics and political issues.

#6. While sobbing to Oprah (March 2020 - late 2021): I can’t do anything because Waity Katie gets all the help, attention, and money. I’m just a young black mother.

Next, Meghan loses control of the narrative as everyone shows up for the BRF after the Oprah interview, and even more so after Philip passes away. This collective effort establishes the narrative of Meghan's royal career as actually scornful "I should be getting paid for this" contempt (as summed up by Bower in 2021's Revenge). Meghan tries some things to backtrack over this but she just digs herself in deeper and deeper, leading to three competing narratives over Meghan's work--

a) “No one from the palace helped us, we had to do it all on our own because William and Kate were jealous and refused to let anyone help us.” (Sussexes)

b) “It’s your own fault. Harry should have better prepared you for the realities of royal life and actually, HERE ARE THE RECEIPTS, WE DID TRY TO HELP but you wanted your LA teams to do it instead.” (BRF and Royal Rota)

c) “She never wanted to work, she just wanted the fame and fortune, come on you people, it's so [bleeping] obvious." (The public and most royal watchers)

This lasts until the end of 2021 when Sunshine Sachs/Netflix/Spotify finally dig Meghan out through a few rounds of Olive Branch PR and Jubilee and Hollywood manifestations, leading to...

#8. While finally launching her Megxit career (end of 2021 to September 2022, The Queen’s passing): I’m finally doing the work I was promised I could do by the royal family. Look at what you could've had.

#9. After The Queen’s passing (October 2022 to end of 2022): I just wanted to work but they wouldn't let me do anything because they're jealous.

#10. During the Charles era (2023): I couldn’t do anything because the royals are racist.

And now, #11. Royal Health Crisis (January 2024): I never wanted to be a working royal, Harry made me and he didn’t prepare me appropriately.

002. Kissing in the Rain

Indulgent fic. Using Femslash February for that too. A gift for @ronanceisintheair who I know loves this pair as much as I do. Also it's midnight (I know this is all write at your own pace and whatever order you want but I am challenging myself to daily and in order for fun) so I am absolutely allowed to drop this right now.

"Oh, you can have fun? Prove it."

“Montana! What are you doing? You’re going to ruin your shoes!”

The forecast didn’t call for rain when they went out on the town, but Montana saw this as a happy opportunity— when they were younger, her and Meghan would play in the rain all the time. They’d come back inside soaking wet and sometimes a bit muddy, but so happy that Montana’s cheeks would hurt. Meghan had a smile just as big (Montana hasn’t seen it in years, it’s fucking sad.) So when the rain started coming down harder and Meghan pulled them both under an awning, Montana quickly broke free of Meghan’s grasp on her arm and into the empty alleyway. The buildings didn’t do much to block the rain.

“You’re wearing red bottoms!”

Montana shoots Meghan an exasperated look, “You're acting like we both can’t buy several pairs of these exact shoes right this moment if we wanted to. I know you’re uptight, but sometimes I don’t think you even know how to have fun anymore!”

Meghan’s face falls and hardens just as quick, “You’re going to get hit by a car. You’re going to get soaking wet and have to deal with that for God knows how long. And yes, you’re going to ruin a really nice pair of shoes.” She huffs, “I can have fun. Sorry, I care about you.”

“Oh, you can have fun?” Both the tone of Montana’s voice and the look on her face screams that this is a challenge. “Prove it.”

Meghan hates backing down from a challenge, but still she protests with a sigh, “I don’t want to deal with being soaking wet for God knows how long.”

“Meghan.” Montana sounds absolutely done. “Come. Here.”

Montana never sounds like that (especially not with her) so Meghan moves out from under the awning and into the alleyway to join her best friend (with only a minor amount of grumbled complaints.)

And suddenly, Montana looks pleased again. Like Meghan made her day just by coming out here with her. A half smile comes to Meghan’s lips.

Montana wants it wider, teeth and all. Like when they were kids and everything mattered a whole lot less.

Montana spends a moment kicking water up and around from a puddle that’s forming (in those shoes— that’s still stressing Meghan out) and splashing it on Meghan with a cheeky grin. Before Meghan gets a chance to bitch about it, she has her by both hands— spinning them both around and around in the rain and closer to the brick wall of the building.

In a moment of clumsiness, Montana falters and it makes Meghan do the same. She ends up with her back hitting the building and Montana clutching to her shoulders to keep from falling. (Because while playing in the rain is fun, ending up on the ground in the rain with the way she is dressed would absolutely not be.)

They’re both laughing— hard and real. When Meghan asks if she’s alright while looking so openly joyful, Montana doesn’t answer her. She just presses her body more into Meghan, a hand remaining on her shoulder and the other going to Meghan’s chin— and kisses her firmly and fully.

They spend minutes just sharing kisses in the rain.

And when they finally stop, Meghan’s both in shock and incredibly happy it happened at all (they haven’t legitimately kissed before), “Damn Tana, what was that?”

Meghan’s still smiling, still looking openly joyful. That smile is so much wider than when they were kids. It makes Montana’s heart flutter.

As romantic as kissing in the rain is, Montana doesn’t want to unpack how she truly feels about Meghan. Not right now, they can just enjoy this moment together without anything complicated.

Montana shrugs, “You’re just really pretty when you let loose and when you smile. Especially like that.”

On behalf of the General Council, I extend our warmest congratulations to Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala on her appointment as the WTO's next Director-General and formally welcome her to this General Council meeting,” said General Council Chair David Walker of New Zealand who, together with co-facilitators Amb. Dacio Castillo (Honduras) and Amb. Harald Aspelund (Iceland) led the nine-month DG selection process.

We look forward to collaborating closely with you, Dr Ngozi, and I am certain that all members will work with you constructively during your tenure as Director-General to shape the future of this organization,” he added.

Dr Okonjo-Iweala said a key priority for her would be to work with members to quickly address the economic and health consequences brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic.

“I am honoured to have been selected by WTO members as WTO Director-General,” said Dr Okonjo-Iweala. “A strong WTO is vital if we are to recover fully and rapidly from the devastation wrought by the COVID-19 pandemic. I look forward to working with members to shape and implement the policy responses we need to get the global economy going again. The General Council decision follows months of uncertainty which arose when the United States initially refused to join the consensus around Dr Okonjo-Iweala and threw its support behind Trade Minister Yoo Myung-hee of the Republic of Korea. But following Ms Yoo's decision on 5 February to withdraw her candidacy, the administration of newly elected US President Joseph R. Biden Jr. dropped the US objection and announced instead that Washington extends its “strong support” to the candidacy of Dr Okonjo-Iweala.

The General Council agreed on 31 July that there would be three stages of consultations held over a two-month period commencing 7 September. During these confidential consultations, the field of candidates was narrowed from eight to five and then two. On 28 October, General Council Chair David Walker of New Zealand had informed members that based on consultations with all delegations Dr Okonjo-Iweala was best poised to attain consensus of the 164 WTO members and that she had the deepest and the broadest support among the membership. At that meeting, the United States was the only WTO member which said it could not join the consensus.

The consultation process undertaken by the chair and facilitators was established through guidelines agreed by all WTO members in a 2002 General Council decision. These guidelines spelled out the key criteria in determining the candidate best positioned to gain consensus is the “breadth of support” each candidate receives from the members. During the DG selection processes of 2005 and 2013, breadth of support was defined as “the distribution of preferences across geographic regions and among the categories of members generally recognized in WTO provisions: that is (Least developed countries), developing countries and developed countries”. This same process, agreed by all members in the General Council in 2020, was strictly followed by Chair Walker and his colleagues throughout the 2020-21 DG selection process.

The process for selecting a new Director-General was triggered on 14 May when former Director-General Mr Roberto Azevêdo informed WTO members he would be stepping down from his post one year before the expiry of his mandate. He subsequently left office on 31 August.
