Happy Secret Samol @handbasketofdreams !
So I did go a little bit weird with this years gift.... I did do art! But I also recorded a.... fan episode? Of Americas Playground! It's 1.5h of me alone playing mall kids and recording myself doing voices in a little fan adventure! I'm no professional podcaster (as you can hear), but sometimes you have an idea but don't have time for a 20 page comic and you are not a fic writer, so you gotta do what you gotta do!

The kids are back at the pier- for the Christmas market! And this time it's no air baloon, it's a carousel! Or it would be, if not all the carousel horses had been stolen.... and now there's a mall detective sneaking around, messing up all kind of things.... Eluise, Melinda, Cattie, Sank and Pomp (and the immortal doll and Princeton of course) have to find the horses so they can have a peacful Christmas!

As someone who has been catching up on comics. I noticed a pattern with Nightwing. Every time the author changes the supporting cast gets dumped. We had the run offs and greyer Blockbuster. They don’t exist by the Ric arc even though they could be people to step up in Nightwing’s absence or grab power. Ric arc had a cast of cops and friends and Bea. Never heard from the cops again despite them being potential informants. The difference with Tom Taylor is that he’s the only one who uses old characters but he mutates them. Not sure if that’s worse but I hate the cast dumping. I fully expect never to see Bea, and the sister again. If the Sister stays someone will kills her off. Huh Taylor had a small supporting cast compared to others.
Yeah that's been a reoccurring problem with Nightwing and is one of the complaints fans have about it.
OH SHIT. Hold on. I'm sorry but this conversation just triggered something in my brain. So Guppy was in prison, right? Omg was he in the prison that Heartless liberated? Is Guppy free??
Wait let me double check... Heartless liberated Bludhaven Private Prison... and Guppy went to Bludhaven Maximum Security Prison... ugh. Damn. Different prisons.
Anyway, if they had kept Bea's normal civilian origin, I would've loved her as an informant of sorts for Nightwing since she could overhear convos at the bar and also see who certain individuals came in with. So yeah it would suck to see Bea just disappear after this, but at the same time, I don't know if I vibe with her sticking around as a pirate queen.
Melinda on the other hand, she can go. TT literally just set her up as the mayor as a way to make it easy for Dick to take down the baddies of the city. That's her purpose. Just easy gateway/easy access to certain information and such. TT hasn't bothered doing anything else with her, really. The sibling thing was just to give Dick an easy way to befriend the mayor. That's it.
But yeah, it'll be interesting to see which cast members the next writer pulls. Or who knows, maybe they'll rely more heavily on the Titans.

In a sunny day, Galaxy was talking to Queen Finora, Dero was sleeping, carried by Galaxy. Dangero was sitting and biting his arm, while Natasha coos and drools
Natasha: *coos* *sneezes* Nyah!
Dangero: Mew! *Clings onto Galaxy's leg*
Suddenly.. Natasha sees a little one sitting alone..
Natasha: mew??🥺...*crawls towards the baby*

One Fish, Two Fish

“Well,” Magnus starts, eyeing the bowl. “I learn something new about you every day.”
Alec barely looks up from where’s carefully sprinkling fish food over the fish tank. “What did you learn today,” he asks absently.
Leaning against the door jamb with his arms crossed over his chest, Magnus just stares at the scene in front of him. Alec was officially moving into the loft this weekend. Which wasn’t to say that most of his things weren’t already here-- it was just that the official invitation had been extended and heartily accepted.
Magnus had expected a few boxes of clothes and several more of books with a few knickknacks and mementos spread throughout.
He had not expected this.
This being that Alec had pets. There were half a dozen fish in an aquarium that needed sizable surface area-- it had colorful pebbles and a little fish house that resembled a shipwreck and was overall much more involved than Magnus had ever pictured in relation to his boyfriend.
He’d always pegged Alec as more of a dog person, if he was being honest with himself.
He has no idea what type of fish they are. Magnus is woefully ignorant about fish unless he’s ordering them at a hibachi restaurant. Raising a brow as Alec leans down and starts talking to the fish, he overhears his conversation.
“Hey Guppy Gus, are we being nice to Melinda today?”
“Melinda,” Magnus repeats, sheer disbelief in his tone. He doesn’t even acknowledge Guppy Gus.
Alec looks up with a deadpan expression. “Gus has a habit of bumping into Melinda. I still can’t figure out if it’s love or hate.”
“Darling,” Magnus cuts in, clearing his throat. “How have you kept your aquarium under wraps all this time?”
With a sigh, Alec stands and makes his way over to Magnus. Straightening, Magnus slides an arm around Alec’s waist as they walk toward the French doors. They open with a gentle push of magic and they settle down on the outside couch, enjoying the warmth of late spring.
“I guess that I just didn’t think to mention it,” Alec says, relaxing against Magnus.
Magnus looks up and sees the lack of tension in him. He can’t stop his heart from quietly gushing that Alec is comfortable in his space-- their home.
“How long have you had them again?”
Humming, Alec squints into the distance. “Izzy dragged me to a mundane carnival when we were little-- twelve I think? I won a little goldfish playing a ring toss game. I didn’t really know what to do with it but I found a bowl from the Institute’s kitchen and just kinda dumped it in there for a day or two.”
He shrugs, continuing, “I ended up going to the library and spending an afternoon looking through the books they had on fish care. From there, it just kind of grew? When I turned sixteen I bought the aquarium on the sly and the rest is history.”
“Why didn’t you tell me? I feel like this is something that I should’ve known about you,” Magnus says, just a hint worried.
Alec looks confused as he frowns. “It just never came up. They’re pretty low maintenance and I keep them in my room, which you never visit.”
It’s silent for a minute as Magnus thinks. Alec lets out a deep sigh, slouching until he can tuck his head under Magnus’s chin. With a huff of laughter, Magnus wraps his arms around his boyfriend and leans back in the corner.
“I thought you were more of a dog person.”
Alec hums as he rubs his nose along Magnus shirt. “Of course I’m more of a dog person. I’ve wanted a puppy since I was old enough to talk. You can’t have them in Institutes, though-- especially with my mother and even more especially with our schedules.”
“So your compromise were fish? Guppies,” Magnus asks in fond amusement, slowly running his fingers through Alec’s hair.
“They were-- are-- like little friends. I used to talk to them, you know.”
“Oh,” Magnus prompts.
“I came out to my fish for the first time,” Alec admits quietly.
Magnus’s hands still for a split second before he resumes his soothing actions.
“I was thirteen and terrified of being overheard. I remember leaning down until my nose was pressed to the glass and whispering that I didn’t like girls-- I liked boys.”
He breathes out a laugh. “They were very supportive. I don’t know if you know this or not, but I didn’t have a lot of close friends--” he ignores Magnus’s quiet snort, continuing, “But I could come back to my room after getting my ass kicked in training or fucking up on patrol or after my mother was particularly cruel and I could vent to them. It became kind of a thing. If anyone would’ve overheard me, they probably would have thought me insane but I talked to my fish, like, every day.”
Alec looks down at him for a minute and Magnus gives him time to think. “I told them about you, you know.”
Delighted, Magnus straightens a little, bending down to kiss the shell of Alec’s ear. “What did you tell them, darling?”
“What didn’t I tell them,” he laughs. “I told them about meeting you for the first time and when I thought I had fucked up and spent the night at your place. I told them about how. . . drawn to you I was even though I knew it could never work out.” His voice is quiet as he adds, “I talked to them a lot before our kiss.”
Magnus kisses the top of Alec’s head once, twice, three times trying in vain to soothe a man he hadn’t been allowed to at the time. “Well, then, I’m glad you had such wonderful confidantes.”
“I know it’s silly but I’m pretty attached to them,” Alec says. “If they bother you, I can keep them in my office at the Institute--”
Magnus hushes him with a gentle finger over his mouth, biting his lip to hold back a laugh at Alec’s instinctive smile at the gesture. “I didn’t say I didn’t like them or didn't want them. It’s just something new that I hadn’t known and I was curious. We can keep the fish as long as you want, Alexander.”
Alec leans up and kisses him. “Thanks, babe,” he says, settling back down against Magnus’s chest.
“There’s nothing to thank me for, I assure you.”
The conversations fades as the both look over the balcony at the sunset.
As he feels Alec grow limp and hears the snores quietly fall from his mouth, Magnus begins to plot. Their anniversary was a few months away and he needs to research local animal shelters.
Surely, there was a puppy out there that wouldn’t mind living with a shadowhunter and warlock.

Universe does a death glare, Asia was honestly scared.. because Melinda copied Universe's glare
Asia: !?!... I w-will just put it a-away..!
Meanwhile, Bot is arguing with Zach, Zach was listening to him, Bot immediately growls and pouts, Bubbles did the same as Bot.
Bot: 😡
Bubbles: 😡
Zach: 😨...U-um...
All of a sudden, all the guppies copied Bot's expression, Zach became more worried and scared.
Meanwhile

In the mysterious place...Pearl was locked up, in a sharp cage, she gasped as she saw the person..
???: Got you where I wanted ~ now~ *grins* I have a great plan to do with you. Only if you accept~
Pearl: *hisses*
???: Uh? Little hisses don't scare me~!
???: Boss I think it's a bad idea...she hasn't eaten yesterday, the whole day... I think it's a bad idea to let her out-
???: Shh! You worry too much~!
Pearl was trying to get out of cage, with rampage, she keeps pushing and scratching the cage
???: *Laughs* oh guppies, always silly *Open the cage*
Pearl: !! *Growls at the figure*...*attacks her Violently*
???: !!! What the-
???: *Throws Pearl* THAT'S A DEMON!?!??
???: No, it's just hungry!-
Pearl: me... want.... Mwommy and Apa..now!
???: Sorry kid but unfortunately, we can't-
Pearl bites the stranger's arm and ripped it apart
Pearl: *growls* 😡

The stranger gets hit by a giant rock
Pearl: *quickly swims away*
At the forest.. meanwhile...
Mikal: I don't think we'll find her...
Lavender: We looked everywhere ...
Snowflake: *sigh*...*sits down*.... let's just face it.. we're never going to find her... she's probably...dead by now....
Melinda: *kicks a rock*...*looks around and see a blue shark* !!! Guys!! It's her!!!
Everyone: huh?- !!!
They all ran towards her, but... pearl's eyes....were unknown...pearl suddenly vanished in thin air, all the guppies could hear, is the laugh of Pearl
Lavender: U-um...
Adriel: !! *Scared*...w-were you sure that was Pearl?
Melinda: I-I don't know anymore...!
Pearl was standing on top of the tree, she grins and pounces on the guppies...
What happened next...was more terrifying.... that day...the guppies were never found, till sunsets....all was left were their bags....

Pearl: *humming Sweetly*..!!!
Suddenly.. Pearl see yellow, eagle eyes.
Pearl: hm..? *Swims towards the darkness* ...???? H-hello..?
???:...*smirks* why..hello~ *points out a hand* come~
Pearl: uh...O-Ok? *Comes closer*
It immediately grabs Pearl and drags her, Violently into the darkness.....the dark mysterious thing transform into a normal hill....the scream...fade away...
Jade: hm? Uh .... guys.. where's Pearl?
Melinda: huh? Pearls? Pearl!!
Mikal: Pearl...?...Pearl, where are you!?
The guppies looked everywhere but.... only found her plushie....
Melinda: 😨...!!! P-Pearl...?
Mikal: her ....scarf...?
Jade: U-um ....!...
Hannah: what's going on?-.....!!! Pearl's scarf..??

Snowflake was talking with Bellus, Pearl and Alastor. Morgen was swimming around, making airplane sounds.
Morgen: *blows a Raspberry* Mew!! >w<
Morgen swims to through the Gold fishes, Rocks and corals. Suddenly he sees someone crying
Morgen: Mew?? *Swims to the guppy* mew??
Melinda: *Sniffs* M-mew???
Morgen: Mew????🤨
Melinda: Mew!!😣
Morgen: Mew??
Melinda: *shows her arm*
There's a torn on her arm
Morgen: mew! *Gently takes it out*
Melinda: M-mew!?? Mew!

Then one of their parents came
Universe: Come on Melinda, *picks her up* Let's go.
