idk if this has been said before but my theory about the writing on the bus that betty boards at the end is that it doesn't say comet but says death, because in the episode in adventure time when she first appears and is trying to save simon from dying without the crown's magic, he says something about already being on the death bus. not a very in depth theory but yeah there's my take on it

So with that post being satirical after all I wanna say genuinely and non jokingly that I am leaving this country in part to get away from the horrid economy.

My partner is going to uni abroad and where he is, housing is extremely affordable compared to here, even with the average wages being very similar. The rent to salary ratio there is just so much better. I mean I would rather live in a world where measuring this stuff isn't even necessary but even so. What they have there is so much more livable. My father struggles to pay rent despite working most waking hours away and our landlord didn't raise the price since we moved in 6 years ago. Most places that are smaller than what we have are more expensive now. It's unlivable out here I'm telling you. So when my partner went abroad and experienced a place where housing is so much more affordable we've decided to move there after we graduate and leave this hellhole here in the US. Of course there are other reasons to leave, other big ones, but the housing costs vs salary are one of the big factors.

So yeah I am fleeing capitalism
