Introducing the Kataang Week 2023 Bingo Challenge!

Kataang Week 2023 starts on Monday, July 24th and ends on Monday, July 31st.  

Please refer to the main Kataang Week 2023 information post for more details on rules etc.

This year we decided to add in a little extra challenge for everyone wanting to participate!

We’ve created a bingo card (put together by Mod Celes @chocomd​) with all 7 official prompts (excluding the 8th day which is a free day), a free space, and a space for an alternative prompt. 

Feel free to use the blank bingo card at the top of this post.

What is the bingo challenge?

The Kataang Week 2023 bingo challenge is an additional challenge introduced for this year’s Kataang Week that anyone can participate in if they want to.

The challenge is to get bingo! You can have 3 in a row from across the card, up and down, or diagonal, similar to a real bingo card.

Complete as many prompts as possible to get bingo, multiple bingos, or even complete the whole card.

Complete the alternative prompt on Free Day to add more challenge if you’d like.  

Each day you complete a prompt, mark your bingo card and post it with that day’s submission. 

At the end of Kataang Week, show off how many prompts you completed with the bingo card! If you get bingo shout it out to the world and have fun with it!

Într-o lume în continuă schimbare, înțelegerea a ceea ce caută atât femeile, cât și bărbații într-o relație sănătoasă este esențială pentru a construi legături autentice și echilibrate.

Promovarea ideii că bărbatul ar trebui să fie doar providerul principal într-o relație este, într-adevăr, o abordare depășită și nerealistă, eronată și greșită.

Sunt unii domni influenceri ce promovează cele de mai sus intr-un mod total aberant.

Iată de ce credem că o relație sănătoasă este holistică și implică contribuții egale din partea ambilor parteneri:

1. Comunicarea deschisă și sinceră: Indiferent de gen, comunicarea este cheia unei relații sănătoase. Ambii parteneri ar trebui să poată exprima fără frică sentimente, dorințe și grijile lor, formând astfel un mediu de încredere.

2. Respect reciproc: Respectul este esențial. Ambii parteneri ar trebui să se respecte unul pe celălalt, să își aprecieze valorile, credințele și opiniile, indiferent de rolurile tradiționale de gen.

3. Contribuția egală: Într-o relație, sarcinile și responsabilitățile ar trebui să fie distribuite în mod echitabil. Nu este vorba doar despre bărbatul care oferă resurse financiare, ci și despre împărțirea muncii casnice, a îngrijirii copiilor și a altor aspecte ale vieții cotidiene.

Bărbatul dacă are mai mult, poate oferi, dar se induce în eroare sexul frumos, punându-se accent pe faptul că doar bărbatul trebuie să ofere financiar. În cuplu aproape totul înseamnă "comun". De aici si comuniunea oficială.

4. Susținere reciprocă: Atât femeile, cât și bărbații au nevoie de susținere emoțională și sprijin din partea partenerului lor. Fiecare ar trebui să fie acolo pentru celălalt în momente de bucurie și dificultate.

5. Împărțirea pasiunilor și intereselor: Partenerii ar trebui să împărtășească interese și pasiuni comune, dar și să fie deschiși să exploreze și să susțină pasiunile individuale ale celuilalt.

6. Dezvoltarea personală: Într-o relație sănătoasă, ambii parteneri ar trebui să aibă spațiu și sprijin pentru dezvoltarea personală și profesională.

Hello, can Byakuya Togami and Celestia (separately) with a silent and observant reader in such a scene. At the third trial, Celes invites the reader to play chess, and the reader turns away and plays chess in spite of the board with pieces and wins. It's probably more how they reacted, but still very interesting.

I can do my best! In this case I wasn't sure if you wanted the same scenario with both, but that's what I went with. If that's incorrect I can always fix it though! Also, I know nothing about chess so take my interpretation with a grain of salt, haha. Please enjoy!

"You Never Cease to Surprise Me"- Byakuya Togami and Celestia Ludenberg x reader (separate):

Celeste:

Two trials and five deaths had occurred since your time in Hope's Peak Academy began. It was rather bleak, but things weren't all bad. Your classmates were colorful, and one in particular caught your eye.

"Excuse me, y/n? Might you be here?" A knock at the door and a familiar voice caught your attention. 'Speak of the devil," you thought as you opened the door to your room. Celestia Ludenberg, Ultimate Gambler of Class 78 stood there, looking rather bored.

You opened the door, looking puzzled. She continued promptly.

"Well you see, I have felt so restless lately-- with no one to play games with, that is. I was simply wondering if you might humor me and play a round?" A hopeful expression appeared on her face, and you couldn't say no to those eyes.

You nodded. Before you knew it, she had taken your hand and led you to the newly-discovered rec room.

"We will be playing chess. I assume you know the rules?" Celeste's haughty nature was already proudly on display. You agreed, already accepting that you'd likely (99% likely, at that) lose. It was just you and her in the room, fully concentrated on the game. Well, you were at least. Celeste was leagues ahead, so she moved quickly and without concern.

The game went on, but not exactly as you expected. It seemed like you were close to defeat, and yet something was amiss: if you made a specific play, victory would be yours. 'Maybe she did it on purpose?' You thought. Regardless, it was your turn and the only clear move to make. So, you did-- and won.

Celeste clapped politely. "Nicely done, y/n. I knew you'd figure it out."

You had an expression that begged for am answer.

"You see, I left an opportunity open for you on the board. Most players wouldn't even realize it was there, let alone a winning move. I had a sneaking suspicion there was more to you than meets the eye, and now I know I was right." She got up from her chair, and fixed her skirt.

Now it made sense. You knew better than anyone that the Ultimate Gambler would never truly lose.

Celeste walked over to your seat before finishing her line of thought. "That's exactly why you're the one I chose. Y/n, you really are an A-rank!" She laughed lightly, and offered her hand in a sportsmans' shake. "Please, continue to be my partner."

It was an offer you couldn't refuse.

Byakuya:

It was another day in your living hell: the once-honorable Hope's Peak Academy. To pass the time, you were reading in the library. It was quiet, but you weren't ever alone.

"Y/n. Hey, pay attention when I'm speaking to you." Byakuya Togami, in the flesh. Whether you liked it or not, he also frequented the library.

You looked up from your book to show you were now attentive. He took this as an apology.

"I'm sure you're tired of this monotony, clearly I am. So, I will be going to the rec room in 20 minutes to pass some time. Meet me there, will you?"

It was best not to refuse him, or else you'd get an earful later-- so you nodded and met him in the room shortly after.

"Today we'll be playing chess. The obvious choice would have been Celestia, but even I will concede I'd be no match. Plus, you'd be a much more interesting opponent anyway," He stated plainly, as he set up the board. You figured this must be a game he's good at--why else would he choose it? And knowing his intellect, he'd have a substantial advantage. It would be hard to win this.

Your hypothesis stood true, initially. Then something truly amazing happened-- you began to take control. It wasn't long before you actually began winning, and then victory was yours!

"Hm, I see. Good game, y/n. I didn't expect anything less from you." You had no idea Togami thought highly of you, but it was flattering for sure. He could tell you were shocked, so he continued. "You didn't think I'd choose a simpleton to spend my time with, did you? You aren't like the others." He smirked, hinting there was something about you he liked.

You stood there, aghast and proud at the same time.

"We'll have to do this again."

Yeah, that was the point. I wanted to get a mods’ attention to prove a point. I fully intended to start an argument with Cele because like, what the fuck? The mods are so goddamn inconsistent with what they claim is venting. Someone could be like “I had a bad day” and get in trouble for venting yet someone else could just fucking trauma dump and not get told anything? If you’re going to warn people, keep it consistent! I just drew some characters from what is going to be a rewrite of that fanfic from 2019 but as an original work

Since the story took place in contemporary times even the first time around, I decided to place it in Romania because placing it anywhere else felt arbitrary (ie served no """worldbuilding""" purpose at all).

The action begins sometime in 2014/2015 and ends in late 2019 (again, I decided upon this year because that's the year when I wrote the first version)

LECTIO DIVINA (asupra unor metode de studiu eficient și aprofundat)

LECTIO DIVINA (lecțio divina) - un mod tradițional de a studia și ruga, încât Lectura să poată penetra în inimi și să facă să crească relația noastră intimă cu Divinul. Este un mod descoperit și practicat de călugări. Din latină „Lectio Divina” înseamnă „Lectură Divină”. Se spune că în sec. XII un călugăr certozin, numit Guigo, descria etapele cele mai importante ale „lecturii divine”. Prima treaptă este LECTIO (lectura, citirea): citim în mod lent și atent. A doua treaptă este MEDITATIO (meditarea): se reflectează la text.  A treia treaptă este ORATIO (rugăciunea): este momentul de a lăsa modul nostru de a gândi și permitem inimii să vorbească cu Divinul; rugăciunea este inspirată de meditație. Ultima treaptă este CONTEMPLATIO (contemplarea): ne deschidem tăcut în liniște și ascultare lumii spirituale, harului divin, vocii divine. LECTIO DIVINA poate fi practicată individual sau în grup.

Astfel, Lectio Divina este o practică de spiritualitate creștină care își are rădăcinile în tradiția monastică a bisericii catolice și în tradițiile ortodoxe. Aceasta este o metodă de citire și meditație. Să-i repetăm etapele:

1. Lectio (Lectură): În această etapă, se citește un pasaj sau un verset cu atenție și răbdare. Scopul nu este de a înțelege întregul text, ci de a permite unui anumit verset sau idee să rămână în inimă și minte. Cititorul poate citi pasajul de mai multe ori până când acesta începe a rezonă cu el.

2. Meditatio (Meditație): În această etapă, credinciosul reflectează și meditează asupra cuvintelor sau a ideii care l-au atras în timpul lecturii. Cititorul se concentrează pentru analiză și înțelegere, cât și a găsi relevanța conținutului pentru propria-i viață.

3. Oratio (Rugăciune): După meditație, se trece la rugăciune. Credinciosul poate adresa lui Dumnezeu gândurile, sentimentele, întrebările și aspirațiile care au venit în timpul meditației. Este un moment de dialog spiritual bazat pe ceea ce a fost descoperit în pasajul citit și meditat.

4.Contemplatio (Contemplare): În această etapă, se lasă deoparte cuvintele și gândurile și se deschide la prezența Divinului. Este un timp de tăcere și contemplare, în care individul se predă în liniște în fața Divinului și încearcă să-l simtă și să-l asculte. Acesta poate fi un moment de intimitate spirituală profundă.

Conform altor date, Lectio Divina are origini în tradiția monastică creștină timpurie, în special în mănăstirile benedictine. Sfântul Benedict, fondatorul ordinului benedictin, a promovat această practică ca parte integrantă a vieții monastice.

Lectio Divina nu este o lectură rapidă, ci o practică meditativă și contemplativă.

Practicanții Lectio Divina pot alege diferite pasaje sau versete biblice sau altor scripturi spirituale pentru a le medita. Acestea pot fi pasaje alese la întâmplare sau selectate în mod conștient pentru o anumită perioadă sau temă spirituală.

Lectio Divina poate fi practicată în orice moment și în orice loc potrivit pentru practicant. Unii oameni preferă să o facă dimineața sau seara, în timp ce alții o practică în timpul zilei, într-un locaș sfânt, în liniște sau într-un loc liniștit acasă.

Lectio Divina poate fi adaptată la preferințele individuale și poate include sau exclude anumite etape, în funcție de ceea ce se potrivește cel mai bine cu nevoile și experiența personală.

Practicarea Lectio Divina poate aduce numeroase beneficii, inclusiv o creștere a înțelegerii profunde a celor lecturate, o relație mai profundă cu Divinul, o mai mare pace interioară și o creștere a vieții de înțelegere spirituală.

Lectio Divina este o modalitate de a merge dincolo de înțelegerea intelectuală a scripturilor și de a trăirii prezenței Cuvântului divin.

Iată un exemplu simplu de aplicare a metodei Lectio Divina folosind un pasaj evaghelic:

Lectio (Lectură): Alegeți un pasaj biblic, cum ar fi o scurtă parabolă sau o învățătură a lui Isus din Evanghelia după Matei, capitolul 6, versetul 25-34:

”25. De aceea vă spun: Nu vă îngrijorați de viața voastră, gândindu-vă ce veți mânca sau ce veți bea; nici de trupul vostru, gândindu-vă cu ce vă veți îmbrăca. Oare nu este viața mai mult decât hrana și trupul, mai mult decât îmbrăcămintea?

26. Uitați-vă la păsările cerului: ele nici nu seamănă, nici nu seceră și nici nu strâng nimic în grânare, și totuși Tatăl vostru cel ceresc le hrănește. Oare nu sunteți voi cu mult mai de preț decât ele?

27. Și apoi, cine dintre voi, chiar îngrijorându-se, poate să adauge măcar un cot la înălțimea lui?

28. Și de ce vă îngrijorați de îmbrăcăminte? Uitați-vă cu băgare de seamă cum cresc crinii de pe câmp: ei nici nu torc, nici nu țes;

29. totuși vă spun că nici chiar Solomon, în toată slava lui, nu s-a îmbrăcat ca unul din ei.

30. Așa că, dacă astfel îmbracă Dumnezeu iarba de pe câmp, care astăzi este, dar mâine va fi aruncată în cuptor, nu vă va îmbrăca El cu mult mai mult pe voi, puțin credincioșilor?

31. Nu vă îngrijorați dar, zicând: ‘Ce vom mânca?’ sau: ‘Ce vom bea?’ sau: ‘Cu ce ne vom îmbrăca?’

32. Fiindcă toate aceste lucruri neamurile le caută. Tatăl vostru cel ceresc știe că aveți trebuință de ele.

33. Căutați mai întâi Împărăția lui Dumnezeu și neprihănirea Lui, și toate aceste lucruri vi se vor da pe deasupra.

34. Nu vă îngrijorați dar de ziua de mâine; căci ziua de mâine se va îngrijora de ea însăși. Ajunge zilei necazul ei.”

Meditatio (Meditație): După ce ați citit pasajul, luați-vă timp să meditați asupra cuvintelor și ideilor din acesta.

Oratio (Rugăciune): În această etapă, lăsați gândurile și reflectările să se transforme în rugăciune.

Contemplatio (Contemplare): Rămâneți în tăcere și liniște. Ascultați cu atenție în liniște.

Cu timpul și practică, Lectio Divina poate fi personalizată și adaptată pentru a vă potrivi nevoilor și experienței spirituale individuale sau de grup.

What is Kataang Week?

Kataang Week is when we, as a corner of the fandom, celebrate the ship Kataang! The prompts for Kataang Week 2023 were selected through four rounds of voting over the last few weeks and all prompts were submitted by Tumblr users.

Cool, when is it?

Summer Kataang Week 2023 starts on Monday, July 24th - just over seven weeks from today - and ends on Monday, July 31st.  

How do I participate?

The most common ways to participate are by creating art or writing a fic and posting it online. Some people try and create something for every day while others only fill one or two prompts.  

As always, we want to reassure you that it’s perfectly okay not to do every prompt! We just hope to have lovely pieces to share on each day.

But I can’t draw or write!

That’s totally fine - there are more ways to participate! You can sing a song, create a graphic, write a poem - just about anything really. You can also show your support by reblogging and liking other people’s contributions.

This means we can find all the work for one prompt or all the work from one user in one easy click (this also means that if you have changed your username since participating last year you need to let us know so we can update your tag!).

Why seven weeks? Is that enough time?

Traditionally, we like to provide our content creators seven weeks (for the seven prompts) to create quality content. Kataang Week is also traditionally held in the last week of July.  

If you are unable to complete a prompt in time, please do not fret. You can alert this blog by mentioning it in your post (ex. @kataang-week​) or messaging one of the mods and your content will still be shared even if it is a week (or a month - or sometimes more!) late.

We also like to post WIP for Kataang Week and encourage everyone else to do so as well - we reblog it here for motivation!

1. Your first OC ever?

First one I can remember is one of my Revans, Skye(I think?), who definitely started forming a personality over the course of her playthrough. (She's the one where I decided I shipped her and Carth even though my dumb newb ass hadn't figured out you could actually romance him yet xD)

2. Do you have a personal favourite among your OCs?

I have a group of favorites who take turns at the top xD Part of my wants to say Trinne, but I also love Vica, and Tragen, and Vikkari, and AJ and Tavi and Ves and Hal and Cele and you get the point

23. Introduce OC that has changed from your first idea concerning what the character would be like?

Trinne, lol. She's always been a drama queen, but a lot of other stuff has changed. She used to have facial tattoos and now has freckles(thanks to mod xD) and went from being and Ultimate Sacrifice Warden to one of my longest lived and chattiest muses.

Also Tragen. He was supposed to just be a blank slate pick-all-LS-options Sith Warrior speedrun through the game to get to LS!Jaesa content and then the bastard went and developed a personality.

(and a third! as bonus. Tavi was a lot more abrasive all the way through when I first designed her. She didn't reveal her ooey gooey center until later :P)

Criticul interior – ce este, cum se manifestă, cum poate fi gestionat? (I)

Criticul interior este acea voce din interiorul nostru care pare să aibă mereu ceva de spus despre eșecurile și slăbiciunile noastre, care ne pune la îndoială valoarea, ne subestimează realizările și ne amplifică temerile.

Criticul interior este adesea asociat cu conceptul de Supraeu, însă un Supraeu mai degrabă malign. Supraeul este o parte a personalității care internalizează valorile, normele și standardele sociale, precum și interdicțiile, regulile și constrângerile impuse de societate și de părinți pentru a obține aprobarea acestora.

Vocea criticului, care este adesea dureroasă și limitativă, își are rădăcinile în experiențele noastre trecute, în special în cele traumatice din copilărie sau în situațiile în care ne-am simțit în mod repetat vulnerabili, nesiguri sau neacceptați.

O copilărie plină de pericole (abandon, neglijență, abuz), în care copilul nu se simte în siguranță și nu primește feedback pozitiv de la părinți creează un teren propice pentru dezvoltarea anxietății și a fricii în rândul copiilor și, în încercarea de a naviga prin aceste ape tulburi, Supraeul copilului dezvoltă un perfecționism excesiv. Perfecționismul devine o strategie de supraviețuire într-un efort disperat de a obține aprobarea părinților, însă dacă prin eforturile depuse nu obține această aprobare, criticul interior devine din ce în ce mai agresiv și mai ostil, învinovățindu-l constant pe copil pentru neajunsurile pe care și le imaginează ca fiind cauza respingerii părinților. Copilul nu poate înțelege că felul în care este tratat nu este din vina lui, ci din cauza neajunsurilor părinților săi. Această dinamică este însoțită de o hipervigilență în care copilul este constant în gardă, anticipând pericole și eșecuri și evaluându-se prin prisma deficiențelor percepute.

Părinții care adoptă o atitudine critică și respingătoare pot să încurajeze la copii dezvoltarea unei percepții în care propriile sentimente și opinii sunt văzute ca imperfecțiuni alarmante. Această „programare” se manifestă în situații în care chiar și cea mai mică tentativă de a împărtăși o idee sau de a exprima un sentiment poate declanșa o reacție internă de frică și rușine. Acest mecanism dăunător este alimentat de credința că orice formă de exprimare personală ar putea expune așa-zisa lipsă de valoare sau stupiditate a persoanei, ceea ce ar duce la o respingere și mai accentuată.

Persistența neglijării și a abuzului întărește criticul interior, transformând gândurile și dorințele personale în factori declanșatori ai unor reacții emoționale puternice. Dorința iluzorie de a câștiga în cele din urmă aprobarea părinților poate intensifica tendințele perfecționiste ale copilului, ducând, în cazuri extreme, la dezvoltarea unor comportamente obsesiv-compulsive. În acest context, chiar și imaginarea unei greșeli devine suficientă pentru a declanșa un atac virulent al criticului.

Un copil care este controlat de criticul interior nu își poate dezvolta un sentiment de sine sau un Eu sănătos, deoarece ajunge să se identifice cu vocea aceea critică din interiorul său care este focalizată pe modurile în care acesta nu corespunde dorințelor parentale.

Așadar, criticul interior se dezvoltă ca o strategie de supraviețuire adaptivă pentru a face față unui mediu de viață ostil sau abuziv. Copiii care trăiesc într-un mediu în care sunt supuși la abuz fizic, emoțional sau psihologic pot internaliza mesajele critice și judecățile negative ale abuzatorilor lor. Acest lucru poate duce la judecăți de sine severe și la ură și dispreț de sine.

FATA ASCUNSA A TRAFICULUI DE PERSOANE

Traficul de persoane este un fenomen pe care statul român nu reușește să îl țină sub control de decenii. Progresele substanțiale se lasă așteptate inclusiv în ciuda criticilor europene și americane. Multe dintre victime sunt minore.

În jur de 30 de persoane din România, majoritatea femei, sunt înregistrate lunar de autoritățile române ca victime ale unui caz de trafic de persoane. Ele se alătură unui număr necunoscut de victime despre care instituțiile publice sau ONG-urile nu au habar și care sunt abuzate în țară sau în străinătate.

INTERNETUL, CA O ARMA PENTRU TRAFICANTI

40 de femei din România au fost racolate pe Internet, în prima jumătate a acestui an, de traficanți de persoane. Potrivit datelor Agenției Naționale privind Combaterea Traficului de Persoane, aproape un sfert din toate victimele au fost traficate în acest mod. Cifra acoperă doar cazurile semnalate autorităților în acest interval.

EXPLOATAREA DE RUDE SAU PRIETENI.

Cele mai multe victime ale traficului de persoane din România sunt împinse spre prostituție sau alte forme de abuz de cunoștințe sau chiar de parteneri de viață.

EXPLOATAREA VICTIMELOR PRIN PORNOGRAFIE.

O parte semnificativă a victimelor traficului de persoane sunt exploatate prin pornografie. Multe ajung să practice videochat sau să se prostitueze de către traficanți după ce sunt șantajate, în primă fază, cu devoalarea unor imagini compromițătoare. 44 de persoane au fost exploatate prin pornografie în primele șase luni ale acestui an. Cifra reprezintă doar cazurile semnalate Agenției Naționale pentru Combaterea Traficului de Persoane. În realitate, este mult mai mare.

Also this reminds me. Iirc lil Wolfykins was really far up Cele’s ass. I don’t have any opinions on the mods myself (unlike some people I keep my nose clean) so idk if Cele is also as problematic as some others apparently are. Is Cele still around? I heard people didn’t like Ledah, and Constantine and Hootie were pretty good (Constantine especially, I remember seeing around a lot before she quit).
