Just learned some terrible information that apparently if you die while climbing mount everest they leave your frozen corpse there as a marker😰

So! To cope with that: Dipper loves snuggling up to his husband whenever it gets too cold in the shack, but sometimes he comes in and he's absolutely frigid, and literally runs into Bill's arms to get warm. His go-to move involves mashing either cheek against the demon's chest to heat them up🥺

Bill's not the type to offer his jacket unless he means to be condescending, and if he's being condescending, Dipper won't take up the offer even if Bill can hear his teeth chattering. What he will do is a very subtle arm around his shoulder. Not cuddling technically, because they're side by side. Which doesn't count. Dipper grumbles and nuzzles up under Bill's arm and maybe wiggles his way into Bill's jacket for some toasty times 👉👈 (Bill zips them up one time and Dipper becomes trapped inside the jacket while his husband pilots them around)

Reincarnated Dipper tosses and turns a lot in his sleep, so he often ends up kicking the blankets off of himself. Most nights he wakes up cold and has to pat around for his sheets, but sometimes he just rolls onto his side, pats around for Bill, and snuggles him without ever waking up.

Bill loves snow as a concept, but he has pretty limited experience when it comes to interacting with it. Snow doesn't melt super fast with him, but his snowmen never turn out as round as he wants them, and there tends to be a distinct pattern of handprints padded into them. Which means he badgers Dipper into constructing him one with all the vision and demand of a Hollywood director

Bill's a smart choice when it comes to sharing a bath. The water doesn't get quite as cold quite as fast when he's around. It's not boiling by any means, but it keeps things at a nice temperature without overdoing the heat. (Saves a lot of hot water for the days they refill the tub twice 👀)

Dipper likes the pool, but he hates the temperature adjustment of actually getting in the pool. He always sticks uncharacteristically close to Bill whenever they wade into the water.

Bill's entire body is a metaphor, which doesn't account for everything, but it does mean if he's just come in from a rain storm and Dipper gives him a dopey kiss on the lips, that his body temperature rises an obsessive amount and steam starts billowing off him like a cartoony bastard. ❤️(👈This is the shape all his steam makes)

Dipper doesn't seem to notice, but while Bill's body is uncharacteristically warm, from his perspective Dipper's actually refreshingly cool (temperature-wise). It's a good relaxer for the summers, even if Dipper begs him to stay fifty feet back whenever temperatures break 80 degrees.

Sometimes, if it gets really cold, Dipper will straight up crawl under the shirt Bill's currently wearing and pop his head out through the top 🥺 a select few times (if Bill starts investing in slightly larger hoodies, so be it)

The body heat is fantastic, but it sucks on really hot days. Temperature can be moderated in the mindscape, but in gravity falls there's hardly even air conditioning. Dipper really has to make a choice when he's dying of thirst and wanting to cuddle his dapper husband; that is a hard decision to make. He's gotten heat stroke a handful of times from wading too long in the cuddle-pool 😔
