सुरजना पौधे का महत्व व उत्पादन की संपूर्ण विधि|

पश्चिमी देशों में ‘न्यूट्रिशन डायनामाइट‘ (Nutrition Dynamite) के नाम से लोकप्रिय सुरजना एक सदाबहार और पर्णपाती वृक्ष होता है।

भारत के अलग-अलग राज्यों में इसे मुनगा, सेजन और सहजन (Munga, Sahjan, Moringa oleifera, Drumstick) नामों से जाना जाता है। बारहमासी सब्जी देने वाला यह पेड़ विश्व स्तर पर भारत में ही सर्वाधिक इस्तेमाल में लाया जाता है।

सुरजना पौधे का महत्व

यह वृक्ष स्वास्थ्य के लिए बहुत ही उपयोगी समझा जाता है और इसकी पत्तियां तथा जड़ों के अलावा तने का इस्तेमाल भी कई बीमारियों के इलाज के लिए किया जाता है। सुरजना या ड्रमस्टिक (Drumstick) कच्चा, सूखा, हरा हर हाल में बेशकीमती है मुनगा ।

सभी प्रकार की मृदाओं में उगाया जा सकने वाला यह पौधा राजस्थान जैसे रेगिस्तानी और शुष्क इलाकों में भी आसानी से उगाया जा सकता है।सीधी धूप पड़ने वाले इलाकों में इस पौधे की खेती सर्वाधिक की जा सकती है।

इस पौधे का एक और महत्व यह होता है कि इससे प्राप्त होने वाले बीजों से कई प्रकार का तेल निकाला जा सकता है और इस तेल की मदद से कई आयुर्वेदिक दवाइयां तैयार की जाती है।

इसके बीज को गंदे पानी में मिलाने से यह पानी में उपलब्ध अपशिष्ट को सोख लेता है और अशुद्ध पानी को शुद्ध भी कर सकता है।

कम पानी वाले क्षेत्रों में भी उगाया जा सकने वाला यह पौधा जमीन की उर्वरा शक्ति को बढ़ाने के अलावा एक प्राकृतिक खाद और पोषक आहार के रूप में भी इस्तेमाल में लाया जाता है।

आयुष मंत्रालय के अनुसार केवल एक सहजन के पौधे से 200 से अधिक रोगों का इलाज किया जा सकता है।

यदि बात करें इस पौधे की पत्तियों और तने में पाए जाने वाले पोषक तत्वों की, तो यह विटामिन ए, बी और सी की पूर्ति के अलावा कैल्शियम, आयरन और पोटेशियम जैसे खनिजो की कमी को भी दूर करता है। इसके अलावा इसकी पत्तियों में प्रोटीन की भी प्रचुर मात्रा पाई जाती है।

वर्तमान में कई कृषि वैज्ञानिकों के द्वारा इस पौधे की जड़ का इस्तेमाल रक्तशोधक बनाने के लिए किया जा रहा है। इस तैयार रक्तशोधक से आंखों की देखने की क्षमता को बढ़ाने के अलावा हृदय की बीमारियों से ग्रसित रोगियों के लिए आयुर्वेदिक दवाइयां तैयार की जा रही है।ये भी पढ़ें: घर में ऐसे लगाएं करी-पत्ता का पौधा, खाने को बनाएगा स्वादिष्ट एवं खुशबूदार

सुरजना पौधे के उत्पादन की संपूर्ण विधि :

जैसा कि हमने आपको पहले बताया सुरजना का बीज सभी प्रकार की मृदाओं में आसानी से पल्लवित हो सकता है।

इस पौधे के अच्छे अंकुरण के लिए ताजा बीजों का इस्तेमाल करना चाहिए और बीजों की बुवाई करने से पहले, उन्हें एक से दो दिन तक पानी में भिगोकर रख देना चाहिए।

सेजन पौधे की छोटी नर्सरी तैयार करने के लिए बालू और खेत की मृदा को जैविक खाद के साथ मिलाकर एक पॉलिथीन का बैग में भर लेना चाहिए। इस तैयार बैग में 2 से 3 इंच की गहराई पर बीजों का रोपण करके दस दिन का इंतजार करना चाहिए।

इन बड़ी थैलियों में समय-समय पर सिंचाई की व्यवस्था का उचित प्रबंधन करना होगा और दस दिन के पश्चात अंकुरण शुरू होने के बाद इन्हें कम से कम 30 दिन तक उन पॉलिथीन की थैलियों में ही पानी देना होगा।

इसके पश्चात अपने खेत में 2 फीट गहरा और 2 फीट चौड़ा एक गड्ढा खोदकर थैली में से छोटी पौधों को निकाल कर रोपण कर सकते है।

पांच से छह महीनों में इस पौधे से फलियां प्राप्त होनी शुरू हो जाती है और इन फलियों को तोड़कर अपने आसपास में स्थित किसी सब्जी मंडी में बेचा जा सकता है या फिर स्वयं के दैनिक इस्तेमाल में सब्जी के रूप में भी किया जा सकता है।

सुरजना पौधे के उत्पादन के दौरान रखें इन बातों का ध्यान :

सुरजाना पौधे के रोपण के बाद किसान भाइयों को ध्यान रखना होगा कि इस पौधे को पानी की इतनी आवश्यकता नहीं होती है, इसलिए सिंचाई का सीमित इस्तेमाल करें और खेत में जलभराव की समस्या को दूर करने के लिए पर्याप्त जल निकासी की व्यवस्था भी रखें।

रसायनिक उर्वरकों का इस्तेमाल की सीमित मात्रा में करना चाहिए, बेहतर होगा कि किसान भाई जैविक खाद का प्रयोग ही ज्यादा करें, क्योंकि कई रासायनिक कीटनाशक इस पौधे की वृद्धि को तो धीमा करते ही हैं, साथ ही इससे प्राप्त होने वाली उपज को भी पूरी तरह से कम कर सकते है।

घर में तैयार नर्सरी को खेत में लगाने से पहले ढंग से निराई गुड़ाई कर खरपतवार को हटा देना चाहिए और जमीन की उर्वरा शक्ति को बढ़ाने के लिए वैज्ञानिकों के द्वारा जारी की गई एडवाइजरी का पूरा पालन करना चाहिए।ये भी पढ़ें: जैविक खेती पर इस संस्थान में मिलता है मुफ्त प्रशिक्षण, घर बैठे शुरू हो जाती है कमाई

सेजन उत्पादन के दौरान पौधे में लगने वाले रोग और उनका उपचार :

वैसे तो नर्सरी में अच्छी तरीके से पोषक तत्व मिलने की वजह से पौधे की प्रतिरोधक क्षमता काफी अच्छी हो जाती है, लेकिन फिर भी कई घातक रोग इसके उत्पादकता को कम कर सकते है, जो कि निम्न प्रकार है :-

डंपिंग ऑफ रोग (Damping off Disease) :

पौधे की नर्सरी तैयार होने के दौरान ही इस रोग से ग्रसित होने की अधिक संभावना होती है। इस रोग में बीज से अंकुरित होने वाली पौध की मृत्यु दर 25 से 50 प्रतिशत तक हो सकती है। यह रोग नमी और ठंडी जलवायु में सबसे ज्यादा प्रभावी हो सकता है और पौधे में बीज के अंकुरण से पहले ही उसमें फफूंद लग जाती है।

इस रोग की एक और समस्या यह है कि एक बार बीज में यह रोग हो जाने के बाद इसका इलाज संभव नहीं होता है, हालांकि इसे फैलने से जरूर बचाया जा सकता है।

इस रोग से बचने के लिए पौधे की नर्सरी को हवादार बनाना होगा, जिसके लिए आप नर्सरी में इस्तेमाल होने वाली पॉलिथीन की थैली में चारों तरफ कुछ छेद कर सकते है, जिससे हवा आसानी से बह सके।

यदि बात करें रासायनिक उर्वरकों की तो केप्टोन (Captan) और बेनोमील प्लस (Benomyl Plus) तथा मेटैलेक्सिल (metalaxyl) जैसे फंगसनाशीयों का इस्तेमाल किया जा सकता है।

पेड़ नासूर रोग (Tree Canker Disease) :

सेजन के पौधों में यह समस्या जड़ और तने के अलावा शाखाओं में देखने को मिलती है।

इस रोग में पेड़ के कुछ हिस्से में कीटाणुओं और इनफैक्ट की वजह से पौधे की पत्तियां, तने और अलग-अलग शाखाएं गलना शुरू हो जाती है, हालांकि एक बार इस रोग के फैलने के बाद किसी भी केमिकल उपचार की मदद से इसे रोकना ��संभव होता है, इसीलिए कृषि वैज्ञानिकों के द्वारा दी गई सलाह के अनुसार पेड़ के नासूर ग्रसित हिस्से को काटकर अलग करना होता है।

कुछ किसान पूरे पेड़ पर ही केमिकल का छिड़काव करते हैं, जिससे कि जिस हिस्से में यह रोग हुआ है इसका प्रभाव केवल वहीं तक सीमित रहे और पेड़ के दूसरे स्वस्थ भागों में यह ना फैले।

पेड़ के हिस्सों को काटने की प्रक्रिया सर्दियों के मौसम में करनी चाहिए, क्योंकि इस समय काटने के बाद बचा हुआ हिस्सा आसानी से रिकवर हो सकता है।ये भी पढ़ें: गर्मियों के मौसम में हरी सब्जियों के पौधों की देखभाल कैसे करें

गर्मी और बारिश के समय में इस प्रक्रिया को अपनाने से पेड़ के आगे के हिस्से की वृद्धि दर भी पूरी तरीके से रुक जाती है।

इसके अलावा कई दूसरे पेड़ों को नुकसान पहुंचाने वाले कीटों जैसे कि फंगस, वायरस और बैक्टीरिया की वजह कई और रोग भी हो सकते हैं परंतु इनका इलाज इंटीग्रेटेड पेस्ट मैनेजमेंट (Integrated Pest Management) विधि की मदद से बहुत ही कम लागत पर आसानी से किया जा सकता है।
