All the right people seem squeaky clean
Well, all the right people mean nothing to me,
Cheatin' and creepin' just to stay on track
They'll offer one hand and put a knife in your back.

Themes for my Mysims Black History week
2/11: Business
2/12: Black Kid Joy
2/13: Pride
2/14: Black Love
2/15: Intelligence
2/16: Hair
2/17: Celebration
I’ll start posting these next Monday as I’m spending the week drawing them out. Drawing has taken more time and I also wanted to star drawing this week because I recently got hired to write at my university’s newspaper so I have to make time for that too. I hope you guys are ready for next week. I’m doing Mysims because it’s an underrated series and I’m happy for all of the black characters that were given.

For the video game asks: Every letter that's in your URL.
Okay so that’s a lot of letters, but here goes:
A: Favorite game of all time? Currently it’s Ocarina of Time, but considering I’m getting my hands on Breath of the Wild in just over a week I get the feeling that’s about to change.
C: Least favorite game of all time? Oh gosh, there are a few that are tied. I could go the easy route and say Sonic 06, but I think I’ll go with MySims (or MySims Kingdom for the DS)
D: Favorite soundtrack? I really love the soundtrack for Ocarina of Time and for Majora’s Mask. Pretty much any Zelda OST is my favorite, tbh. I also love the Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim soundtracks. I love a lot of video game music, honestly.
H: Favorite local multiplayer game? Probably Smash Bros. or Mario Kart (both of which I’m amazing at and would destroy you no matter what)
I: Favorite online multiplayer game? I actually really do enjoy Call of Duty. Modern Warfare 2 was my first and I absolutely killed at that multiplayer. I haven’t been as good at it since then, but I still enjoy it. Zombies is fun too, but I really only like playing that with friends. It isn’t the same without a tight group of buds (or my brothers).
N: Favorite protagonist? Hands-down it’s Link. Unless I can choose Zelda. Then it’s both of them. I love them so much.
O: Favorite antagonist? Probably Ganondorf. I absolutely love his character; he’s one of the most interesting villains that I’ve ever fought against in any game series.
R: Most underrated game? SONIC CHRONICLES: THE DARK BROTHERHOOD (It took me a long time to run through all of my games in my head to figure out what I wanted to say.) This game is actually really interesting and was my first squad-based RPG. It was developed by Bioware, and was the first game of theirs that I played (and they’re now one of my favorite devs). They ended the game on a cliffhanger AND THEN EA BOUGHT BIOWARE SO IT’LL NEVER HAPPEN AND IT MAKES ME SO ANGRY
T: Best game memory? This is the hardest one, good grief. One of the more interesting moments was when I was maybe 15 and my mom walked in on me playing Ocarina of Time. I left the game on to go get water from downstairs and when I come back my mom is playing the game, swinging the Master Sword all around the fairy fountain outside the Spirit Temple. When I asked her what she was doing she replied, “I’m trying to kill this annoying stupid little glowing thing that’s flying around.” My mother was attempting to kill Navi. I couldn’t stop laughing at the idea that my mom was attempting to do what most players tried, but within only 3 minutes of ever touching the controls.
U: First handheld title? Super Mario Land for the original GameBoy is the first one I can remember. It might have been Tetris, but I’m pretty sure I played Super Mario Land first.
V: First game you remember playing? The very first game I ever played even a little bit of was (I think this is true - I’m a little hazy and something might’ve come first) that Crash Bandicoot/Spyro the Dragon crossover on the GameBoy Advance. A friend had it on the playground back in like 1st grade and I had no idea what it was, but it immediately captivated me. I played it for like 30 seconds before handing it back because it kind of freaked me out and I had no idea what was going on, but it was awesome. To this day I have never played that game again and I honestly don’t think I’d want to, but it’s a nice memory (sort of. I was painfully awkward).
Y: What game would you want your child to play first? Either Super Mario Land for the original GameBoy (which was my first video game) or The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (because it’s absolutely fantastic and I love it).
