It's the thinnest possible veneer of progressive language wrapped around TERF and reactionary rhetoric so that they can feel righteous for forming an angry mob against vulnerable targets. If you're gullible enough to fall for the newest wave of bigotry within the queer community, and turn on your allies because they're "confusing" or "invading your spaces," the SAME way they turned on bi/pan labels, trans people, xenogenders, neopronouns, and aroace people before this, then get lost.

To put it simply: Mspec means basically: Multisexual spectrum, Or Multi-attraction spectrum- Aka romantic or Sexual Orientations like Bisexual N Pansexual where someone is attracted to multiple genders! Being Mspec gay or Mspec lesbian in simple terms means someone who is gay but also being mspec- example being someone who is bi but also gay. There's many reasons why someone identify this way- one specifically being that person is multigender and being gay and mspec both working for you/you identifying as such- Which I describe myself as.

Queer is Reclaimed y'all need to leave eachother alone

I've been in the community since the day I was born to two lesbians. I've heard all the chants and slogans since the 90's. One of the main ones shouted during pride parades was "we're here, we're queer, get used to it!, that one was so popular it even got used in a Simpsons bit. We have reclaimed queer since at least the 90's.

Being reclaimed doesn't mean that it's not still used against us by bigots. All it means is we're not going to let them use it to silence us as a group. And y'know what? I think you all know that. Because you all know about the N word.

Everyone knows the rules for the N word, only black people can say it etc. That's because they as a community have reclaimed it. But that doesn't mean it's not still a slur, and so non-black people aren't supposed to use it. It can still be said with cruelty and intent to harm, ie used as a slur.

Queer is very similar. Many in our community have had it used as a weapon against us and so it is a slur. However, we as a community have chosen to take it for our own, to rip the cudgel from our oppressors hands! And by trying to get us to stop using it amongst ourselves, you're giving that weapon back to the bigots!

A lot of the "queer is a slur" group will talk about how some have trauma from the word queer, but they never acknowledge that others in our community have trauma with different words for us. I was called a lesbo, many gay dudes get called fags, and of course our trans siblings get tranny hurled at them. But we don't take those terms from those in our community who use them, because that's their choice.

You're telling the wrong people to stop using queer! Our family can use it all we want! Tell the cishets not to use it all you want, but leave the rest of the community alone!

I just think it’s so sweet and nice of Ronen to show his support reposting and commenting on that post of Rafa & Lyndsy

so as someone not on fandom ig/twitter, I was so confused with that anon the other day about people harassing Rafa, but I've since gathered from talk about it around here that it had to do with negative reactions from people on ig... this anon message prompted me to check out what Ronen reposted/commented and I braved the comment section and every single comment I see is happy & positive and I've scrolled pretty far. So whatever took place before (which I'm not aware enough to speak on since I clearly didn't know it had even happened), I think it's fair to say people are showing their love and support now.

and from what I've seen of Ronen, it seems like he's pretty good about hyping up the rest of the cast on social media in general and I agree that is sweet/nice of him to do that.

Part of me thinks Ronen is basically half of the 911 Lone Star marketing department the way he hypes up this show tho tbh.
