I think most people would agree from a moral standpoint that refusing to sacrifice the lives of 7007 people in exchange for power is probably the morally correct and less controversial move.

BUT.

You can also play your own character however you want. If your Tav is evil and you want to manipulate him, Astarion is morally gray enough to where it probably would work. At least for a little while. But given Spawn A grows a sense of self by the end of the game, he'd call your character out on it at some point. He's not going to let you continue to gaslight and manipulate him. He's not a doormat.

Spawn A =/= doormat. I don't think that's what you're trying to say here, but I have seen those sentiments within the community before in discussions of Spawn A vs. AA.

I've said this before, but imo, Spawn A is part of AA, and vice versa. They're two sides of the same coin. AA already exists within Spawn A, and still does regardless of refusing the ascension. Spawn A still exists within AA post-ascension. They are one in the same. It's just the matter of whose face you're looking at in any given moment.

I love both endings and support them both. I also support people playing the game however they want, because it's a game. It's your DnD run. You're the DM, to a degree. Do whatever you want.

I know that anon was simply an asshole but it touches enough a nerve within me to where everything I write lately, or try writing, makes me feel like garbage. I keep trying to go back every time I get a spark, only to sit there and stare at the screen for 10 mins until I ultimately close the document.

I've already been struggling with writing for the last... almost 3 months now, and nothing I'm doing seems to be helping that.

I question the flow of my writing constantly and whether what I write makes sense, because I'm dyslexic. I often have to re-read things multiple times to understand them. I speak backwards sometimes and with an impediment. Granted my written voice is much clearer and more coherent than my actual voice, but when it comes to writing long form, I struggle.

But I've found that if the words flow like a song when being read (at least to me), then I'm happy with it. Lately it just feels interrupted. And I can't regain that focus no matter how I try. And it's upsetting to me, because I did genuinely enjoy writing.

Anyway, just please be nice to people. Many of us are just doing this for fun. There's zero reason to be a dick hole to someone else over recreational creative writing that's literally not designed in any way, shape, or form to harm someone else.

“Jo safar ki shuruwat karte hai, who manzil bhi pa lete hai,

Bas ek bar chalne ka hosla rakhna jaruri hai,

Kyunki acche insaano ka toh raste bhi intezaar karte hai.”

Before concluding, he drew the attention of Shri Mallikarjun Kharge by reciting the following poem:-

“Kuch toh log kahenge, logon ka kaam hai kehena,

Koi jabardasti gale milenge toh koi aankh marenge,

Hume toh apna kaam karte rehna hai.”

  Shri Rodmal Nagar, from Rajgar Constituency concluded his speech with the following poem while participating in the Discussion on the Constitution (One Hundred and Twenty-Third Amendment) Bill on 2nd August, 2018:

“Rashtra shakti ke roop ko dekho, ab ho raha sabera hai,

Chalo jalaye deep waha, jaha abhi bhi andhera hai.”

  While participating in the Discussion on Statutory Resolution regarding Disapproval of National Sports University Ordinance and National Sports University Bill on 3rd August, 2018, Shri Anurag Singh Thakur recited the following poem:-

“Na harna jaruri hai, na jitna jaruri hai,

Khel hai rastra nirman- vyaktiktwa nirman ka jariya,

Khel ko bas khelna jaruri hai.”

  While debating on the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Amendment Bill on 6th August, 2018, Shri Prem Singh Chandumajra recited the following poem of Saint Guru Nanak Sahib:-

“Neecho andar neech jaat, Neechi hoon aath neech,

Nanak teen ke saang saath, wadhiyo ke kya rish”

He further went on to recite Guru Gobind Singh’s writing:-

“Jinki jaat aur kul nahi,

Sardarin hi pahi kadahi,

Teen hi ko sardar banayu,

Tave Govind Singh naam kahau.”

  COUPLETS

While participating in the Discussion on the Motion of No Confidence in the Council of Ministers moved by Shri Srinivas Kesineni on 20th July,2018, Shri Tariq Anwar while began his speech with the following couplet:-

“Bohot shor shunte hai, peheloon me dil ka,

Jo chira toh ek kathra khoon bhi na nikla.”

  While laying her speech on the Motion of No Confidence in the Council of Ministers moved by Shri Srinivas Kesineni on 20th July, 2018, Shrimati Meenakashi Lekhi quoted the following Urdu couplet:-

“Mujhe dekhne se pehle saanf kar, apni aankho ki puthliya galeeb,

Kahin dhak na de meri acchaiyon ko bhi naazro ki yeh ayeb teri.”

She further went on to quote Goswami Tulsi Das:-

“Jaako rahi bhavna jaisi, prabhu moorat teen dekhi taisi”

She further went on to recite the following couplet:-

“Kucch ajeeb sa rishta hai mere aur uske darmiyana,

Na nafrat ki wajah mil rahi hai, na mohabbat ka sila.”

In conclusion, she went on to quote the following couplet of Dag Daheli:-

“Aur honge tere mehfil se uthne wale,

Hazrat-e-daag jahan baith gaye.”

'Goel-Manmohan meeting began process to break govt-opposition deadlock in RS'

It was a meeting between Union minister Vijay Goel and Manmohan Singh last week that initiated the process to break the government-opposition deadlock in the Rajya Sabha, a top government official said today.

The proceedings of both the Houses of Parliament were disrupted for nearly two weeks over remarks by Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the Gujarat Assembly election campaign. He had criticised his predecessor Singh for attending a secret" dinner with senior Pakistan officials at former Union minister Mani Shankar Aiyar's residence.

According to the official, Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Goel reached out to the former prime minister and showed him the copy of Modi's speech and convinced him that no derogatory references were made to him.

"Singh then agreed to end the deadlock with a statement from the government," the official claimed.

Goel's meeting with Singh was followed by a meeting of Leader of the Upper house Arun Jaitley and Goel with Leader of the Opposition Ghulam Nabi Azad and Congress leader Anand Sharma at Azad's residence.

The process culminated in a statement today by Jaitley, who said the prime minister has never questioned Singh's integrity and commitment to the nation.

However, ahead of Jaitley's statement, there was a small disagreement between the two sides over its formulation that was resolved with the intervention of Rajya Sabha Chairman M Venkaiah Naidu. Naidu suggested to the government to drop the contentious word and the government relented, they said.

Reacting to Jaitley's statement, Azad said the Congress does not approve of any remarks made against the prime minister, apparently in a reference to the "neech" remark made by Aiyar.
