Also, did anyone else notice that the poster on the double decker bus that passed by Max and Helen outside their new apartment (erm, I mean flat) said “New Beginnings” or was it just me? Very fitting for their new life in London! Reminds me of the show poster outside Cherry Lane Theater on their walk to Helen’s apartment in 3x14 said “Prelude to a Kiss.” Coincidence? I think not!

Thoughts on New Amsterdam’s season finale 3x14

First, I’m really happy max decided to take the ring off ~consciously~ 🥰. the episode made very clear why he was having difficulties to do it, the ring was the last “piece” of georgia, it resumes all their story. But now, he’s prepared, not to forget georgia, but to be happy again, because he knows she would understand. (thanks karen). I am “max and helen friendship” team but I like them as a couple too, it will be good for both of them (if it works, I don’t trust the writers since the ambulance crash 😅) The final part with Max and Helen was soooo perfectly amazing!!!! When he asked to walk with her my heart melt; when he was going back his place alone and had that sad puppy face I wanted to cry 😢 and the scene he ran back to her house was so intense and well done. I can’t wait to next season, I hope they continue when the season 3 ended: the kiss 🥵😏. I can’t image a storyline for max next season, the thing about Luna apparently is solved (they didn’t mention it this episode); maybe they will tells how he’s dealing with his >big< decision? I don’t know, if you theories let me know, I love to read it!!

ps 1.: one of my theories about next season is that helen will wanna go to london to work at that clinic. she and max will have to work on that (obviously she won’t because if she does it means freema will leave the show and I don’t see it happening so soon and for no reason)

ps 2.: lauren will put herself in trouble next season! but I understand her... when you love someone you do impulsive things, I think I would have done the same 😅

ps 3.: FLOOOOOYDDDD. seriously when his “girlfriend” (I don’t know her name correctly, I’m sorry) entered the husband’s office my jaw dropped... LITERALLY 😱😱😱😱😱
