Reformed 3 spotlights a selection of new compositions produced for Newly Formed, a course which focuses on experimental form-making and image-making using iterative and generative approaches. The central section features fourteen portraits: each design student in the class wearing a mask they created or invented. Hiding in plain sight, behind and within their work, these images can serve as a metaphor for the relationship between a designer and their work: designers are always part of the designs they create, however modulated their presence may be. Concept: All ghosts can do that thing Danny does where they just copy another ghosts ability but only when they're fresh. Because newly formed ghosts havent settled into what makes them a ghost yet, they kinda just monkey see monkey do until they Do develop their own shtick. Danny is still baby in terms of ghosthood tho, and hasnt really dsicovered his Thing yet and might never (because hes still half alive). Therefore capable of replicating other ghosts abilities. Him forgetting he can do that stuff is an intentional part of ghosthood where you dont get to really just keep other's abilities unless youre adopting it into your very essence. Because ghosthood is so reliant on how you feel about yourself and who you think you are, to a newlyformed its just copying not Developing. So he just looses and gains abilities whenever its pertinent or he's seeing another ghost use an ability he doesn't have. (But also cuz he's dumb, he never uses this to his advantage, and might not actually realize thats what he's doing)

John Stezaker

John is A British conceptual artist he is fascinated by the lure of images, he gives old images a new meaning through taking vintage postcards book illustrations movies and just adjusting the photo slightly or manipulating faces together to create unique art works. He’s Darkstar series turns publicity portraits in to cut out silhouettes creating an ambitious presence in the place of the absent celebrity. 

He created a series of photos and called the marriage the juxtaposed portraits of classic filmstars creates a newlyformed disjointed charactersNaming the series marriage I think it’s because they are very personal and both the Images are relevant to one another due to all being classic filmstars just like married couples are relevant to one another. 

John is an artist I think has created some really unusual pieces that were very striking to the viewer even though all the pictures are different they all connected in some sense they all have a different message or meaning behind them which is what I would like to corporative my work, every pieces individual are not repeated but still have the same context for example man and woman.  The message behind this is something that I think is my pretty obvious for the way in each image they use a man and a woman who obviously are opposites these photographs I think are a physical representation of how people have found the other half of them And are now finally fulfilled or another message behind these images are the influence of each of each subject in the photo on one another for example somebody is a large part of your life they become a great influence on the way you act and the things you do this is something that happens in marriage as well.

Personally I quite like the pictures that have a postcard over the top of it or a different image of the top which has a total different scenery this gives the image a big contrast it, especially with the different tones and colours as well and they just black and white and the other is in colour. I believe this will work perfectly with my project now as our last project was all black and white and now we can experiment with this one which means I can now use colour and use Johns work to inspire me to make something like his pieces. 

Inclusion I think that John has created a lot of interest with these images contrasting multiple different elements of the images are something that have been executed perfectly to make them blend, this is a technique I will consider in my own work to make them successful.
