i don't get why robin and eddie clocking each other is so popular. firstly i find it kind of cheap esp since it's usually a set-up for robin and/or eddie being all-knowing arbiters of lgbt knowledge while steve is clueless and dumb and not lgbt enough (despite usually being bi) to partake in this exchange as well. then it's otherwise used to establish an immediate connection between robin and eddie since they are both gay which automatically makes them besties. secondly it doesn't make much sense w what we see of either robin or eddie. like we know robin struggles w social cues and we see that that extends to sexual orientation through her interactions w vickie. also i think she is just not paying that much attention to eddie i must be honest. then w eddie he spends his time campaigning for the stancy revival while steve blatantly stares at his mouth so. i don't think he'd be good at that either. like the irony in this being so common is that steve is the person that does clock someone else on top of being consistently socially and emotionally intelligent and perceptive. idk sometimes i feel like ppl take him not clocking robin as proof he's incapable of it despite him then clocking someone later and being right, and that s3 scene fitting into the broader context of steve being lonely, insecure, and off his game for most of s3 as well as between s2 and s3. tbh missed comedy potential w steve being the one person in that trio that actually knows what's happening.

I think it really is used as a way to fast track their friendship. Truly unfortunate that it's often used to make them all knowing queer guides instead of the disaster teenage gays they are.

Robin is a small town lesbian who is only out to one singular person, she does not know anything, let alone vague little queer codes that might be happening. She wouldn't know Eddie was queer for a variety of reasons. She says herself she's not good at reading people! She's also busy worrying about if she's doing something that might out her or make people suspicious of her, so she's not analyzing other people's actions. She does not care about men that aren't Steve enough to pay enough attention to figure out if Eddie is queer or not lol. She can't even figure out if the girl she likes who likes her back is queer when her best friend is telling her. Oblivious icon! open your eyes, queen!!

Eddie had a man he deliberately broke a moment of romantic tension between his love interest by throwing a vest at his face staring at his lips and still pushed him towards said love interest. Sir. what are you doing. and once it's clear stncy isn't happening you know eddie would be like okay. why aren't you dating Robin? hmm? she's cool! and causes Steve to Suffer. (Steve was flirting with Eddie .5 seconds before he started on this please get with the program Eddie!!)

Also think it's silly that people would stereotype Eddie as Queer from how he dresses as though that's not just how a lot of people dressed? long hair was In in the 80s. Metal fashion was there. It also likely had some/a lot of ingrained homophobia in the subculture (as many things did). Sorry Eddie, but I'm pretty sure our boy Brucie did more for the gays than metallica. (Kissing Clarence Clemens Right On The Mouth Many Times On Stage thank you mr. springsteen and mr. clemens sirs.)

Steve's the only one of these three that 1) knows how to flirt 2) knows when someone is flirting with him 3) has consistently demonstrated being emotionally and socially intelligent to observe people (more than arguably anyone else in the series) and 4) has any kind of functioning gaydar. Totally agree that Steve not clocking Robin despite his gaydar is that he was way off his game, insecure, in a funk, pathetic sad meow meow era, and in a weird state of squish-or-crush on Robin, that was pushed towards crush by Dustin but slam dunked into squish by Robin coming out (does that make any sense?)

I truly, truly believe Vickie returned Fast Times paused on 53 minutes and five seconds specifically when she knew Robin and/or Steve would be the ones to rewind it. Why else would she not rewind it? when clearly they knew who had rented it and could potentially out her if they read into it? She was getting vibes from robin and knew that Steve would at least report Back to Robin (I refuse to believe the championship game was the only time stobin gossiped like they did. Vickie knows their shenanigans.) so she decided to be indirect but kinda obvious about it!! And while Robin is denying this Steve has seen the truth, he knows exactly what Vickie is doing. (would be very funny if Steve and Vickie clock each other, and then make eye contact like I know what you are. They deserve to become funky little friends while Steve is trying to get her and Robin together.)

today i woke up and saw tfblade post how he got banned three times and thought that was kinda crazy but funny.

but being one minute out of bed i skimmed it then saw a reply saying he needed to get off the net and that league is a childrens game.

this immediately provoked me because the thought of someone controlling someone else to be online and calling league a childrens game when i made a ton of money off it made me really angry.

so i replied with the "who the fuck do you think you are lmao" and was laughing on my way to the shower.

i played sf6 streamed played baulders with the boys, then checked back on it and saw a bunch of people saying i fell off, i wasnt human, one parasocial weirdo brought up my ex, and one guy being genuninely confused.

i felt anger and sadness for a good hour and then went back to reasess why this happened and realized the context was he didnt just fuck himself over but it was a korean bootcamp so a bunch of ppl that came over got banned not just him.

not to mention korea stans, vtubers fans, league fans all involved. so realizing that i stepped on a landmine i wasnt mad anymore and actually understood why the feedback was so awful and deleted some dumb shit i said and said sorry to the one guy who was confused on why i would ever say such a thing.

i was in a really bad mood at the end of my day but thanks to my friends who let me vent for a little i came to realize that i actually fucked up by not reading more. and even posting in drama filled with these kinds of fans. i'm impressed that anyone even liked my post because now i feel sick looking at the situation so i deleted it.

i still dont think it's right for others to tell people what to do and calling league a childrens game but i clearly missed the point and took a L today.

everything is good with me but i have no motivation to do anything besides play games and keep myself from being to unhealthy (i'm back at 230) but i plan on losing weight again before any event i go to (evo or twcon) next year and hopefully can post some very happy pictures once again like last year.

that was my day, i posted this because i feel like this is my safe space and i felt a little lonely for the first time in months.

i really dont think i would of done anything to much different in my life but so much pain is caused from misunderstandings and miscommunication and sometimes when i want attention and act like a fool once in awhile.

but i have a lot of gamer friends i enjoy playing games with so im good.

holy fuck i hate being bi now it's like double the horny and i dont need any of that.

I have missed some bots, I know!!! But I just drew the most important ones in this AU :P

You can ask me anything if ya want, sorry if I answer like weeks later, Tumblr doesn't work pretty well for me lol

• Fnaf 1/Originals-Withereds/Bot-Buddies:

This guys were made to do stuff for home, like cleaning, cooking, gardening, etc. They were created by someone unknown, ppl ordened this person any kind of robots for themselves to do their homework. Everything was going well until the creator got a bad review for one of his creations, Fox-Bot. This robot started to have difficulties to obey orders, he was out of control and the owners had to abandon him. The owners were warning other ppl about this, so no one would buy any more robots to this person. The creator got to the point that ran outta money to keep creating, so he abandoned Bear-Bot in his basement (he was his first creation that came out pretty well), meanwhile Chick-Bot and Bun-Bot were abandoned in the streets by their respective owners, like other more creations from this creator. (As a detail, this creator also did other bots besides this four, for example, Candy & Cindy from FnaC or other animatronics from other fanmades, in this AU those bots were created by this man, which I'm thinking to call him Scott :], besides that, the most important ones are the original 4 in this AU)

Bear-Bot (he started to call himself "Fred") is like a radio, he was still on when he was abandoned, so he had to live alone in that basement

Bun-Bot, Chick-Bot and Fox-Bot were the first comissions this person got. Bun-Bot was related to do gardening, Chick-Bot was comissioned to be on a bakery, she could create cakes. While Fox-Bot was built to guard the dock of the city, but he started to have difficulties since salt and humidity started to affect his system and making him have a lot of problems.

To clarify: In this AU the withereds ARE the originals, and viceversa, in this Au, Bun-Bot and Chick-Bot were destroyed by the

Fun-Bots (explanation why in Fun-Bots part lol)

Fox-Bot got damaged even before of being abandoned, that's why there isn't another square of him being fixed up, he made that damage to himself, while Bun-Bot & Chick-Bot were actual victims of the Fun-Bots, even thought they can still work in some way

• FnaF 2/Toys/Small Toys:

These small poor looking toys were created by "Fred" in the basement. With rests and parts that his creator left, he could create this small toys, they have some issues, but they work pretty well for being created by another robot.

The only toys that "Fred" created were TB3AR, TBVN, TCH1CK and TF0X (AKA the 4 main toys, those names were given by "Fred" himself) he was inspired by some blueprints he saw closer to his own blueprint, "Fred" thought he could find those three bots, so they could become friends. He then decided to create these toys, so he didn't feel lonely either, while he figured a way to get out of that basement

BB, JJ and The Puppet were built by other creator.

BB, JJ and The Puppet are Charlie's toys, they were created by Henry, they were gifts for her when she was younger. This toys aren't just normal toys, this ones can transform into a defensive looking bot. BB and JJ need to be together to be able to transform into their defense mode (AKA Nightmare BB, or Night-Kid in this AU). Meanwhile, The Puppet can transform by themselves into that defensive mode as well (AKA Nightmarionne, named as The Marionette in this AU)

• Fredbear/Golden Freddy, Springbonnie/Springtrap, Shadow Freddy & RWQFSFASXC:

In this AU, Fredbear & G. Freddy are the same one, the same goes with Springtrap & Springbonnie. They are called "Golden-Bear" and "Spring-Time". This two robots are kind of the oldest robots around the city, the Fun-Bots and Glam-Bots are looking for them everywhere (The Fun-Bots want them for their parts and pieces, the Glam-Bots want to finaly turn them off). This two are troublemakers but so clever at the same time, they always manage to get out of trouble.

Beep & Boop (S.Fred and RXQ), are made out of slime and oil that came alive, this two are always with Golden-Bear and Spring-Time, they are like hamsters in a wheel to recharge each robot when they run outta energy.

• FnaF 4/Nightmares/Night-Plushies:

The same thing as BB, JJ and The Puppet, these plushies were made to have a defensive mode as well, but the difference is that this plushies didn't come out well, and instead of being protective, these bots attacked the ppl that got closer to them. They were created by Henry as well, but he decided to turn them off and keep them in a box, far away from him and his daughter.

William A. knew about this plushies and decided to keep the box and gift them to his younger son. Henry warned about this agressive bots, but William decided to take the risks, he thought he could fix them before his son's b-day. Long story short, Will tried to fix this plushies, but as expected, these bots attacked him, killing him at the end.

To clarify: The names of the Nightmares are Night (AKA Nightmare Fredbear), Night-Bear & the Night-Cubs (N. Freddy & Freddles), Night-Rabbit (N. Bonnie) Night-Chicken (N. Chica) and Night-Fox (N. Foxy & N. Mangle)

In this AU I wanted to create a mix between N. Foxy and N. Mangle, so yeah, they are one.

• Fnaf SL/Funtimes/Fun-Bots:

This robots were created to defend the city, like the Glam-Bots do. But since William died and any of his kids got into robotics, these robots had to survive by themselves. Lol-Bot, William's little helper, had to be under control of the big bots, since he knew how to fix and manage them. The Fun-Bots changed their perspective and they decided to catch all useless and useful bots they found around, and use their pieces to get better upgrades. Some of the bots they found were Bun-Bot, Chick-Bot and Fox-Bot, and much more

To clarify: Ennard, or Mega-Fun in this AU, is a mix by the main funtimes except Fun-Chick, since she was the last Fun-Bot of being created, she is the only fun-bot created by Lol-Bot. There is a version were Fun-Clown (C.B) is excluded as well, but I didn't draw it 'cause is not to common of 'em to use that transformation.

• FFPS/Mediocre Melodies/Sbiz-Bots:

This are the only ones that are actually in a pizzeria. They are inspired by the ShowBiz animatronics, I really liked the rubber faces idea :]. Happy & Nedd are the ones that play with the children, Orville & Hippo are the ones to tell stories, while Pig Patch is the one who sings and plays the banjo. It's just a normal pizzeria with animatronics.

• FFPS/Rockstars/Star-Bits & BlackBear:

BlackBear was created by Henry, it's a big fluffy bear bot that was always taking care of Charlie when she was younger, BlackBear stayed by her side no matter what, even if she is all grown up, the bear always wants to take care of her. When he isn't with Charlie, he tends to be with The Puppet and play with them, they seem to understand eachother so well even if they don't make any sound.

The Star-Bits in the other hand, were created by another person, let's call this person "the rabbit". This guy wanted to check on the Small Toys, he wanted to understand how this small bots worked, since they have a lot of mistakes. When "Fred" was able to scape the basement, he was always losing the Toys, he luckily could find them since he could know the directions they could go. But one time, "The rabbit" found the toys and wanted to investigate them. "Fred" was always outside this guy's lab and was always trying to get in to get the toys back, then, "the rabbit" thought of creating a better version of the toys, the Star-Bits. When he finally finished them, he left the Star-Bits outside so "Fred" could take them, so he would finally go away and let him finish his investigation, or that's what he thought. "Fred" was still insisting on getting his toys, the ones he created, not the "fake ones". The guy couldn't finish his investigation, 'cause one night, "Fred" was able to make the Toys go outside, not knowing how they managed to scape. The guy had to keep the Star-Bits for himself, he uses them to investigate small places.

• FnaF SB/Glamrocks/Glam-Bots:

After seeing his failure with the plushies, Henry decided to create another kind of bots.

This bots have the mission to rescue all useless robots around the city, where Henry will be giving them upgrades and fixing them, with the help of Gregory, whom can control the Glam-Bots from the inside. Glam-Bear found Gregory when he was a toddler, someone abandoned the kid closer to some broken bots, Glam-Bear thought of keeping him, insisting Henry to let them have that kid, until they find his parents.

During that time, Henry built Moon-Bot & Sun-Bot for Gregory. Sun-Bot was always playing with him, this bot was always full of energy, meanwhile Moon-Bot helped Gregory to sleep, always playing a soft lullaby.

The years continued and his parents never appeared, when the kid was all grown up, Henry could let him control the Glam-Bots for their missions, especially Glam-Bear, since he was most of the time with him.

DJ is a huge spider that can transport the robots that are saved by the other Glam-Bots, they always treat every robot respectufully and tend to be pacific, except when it comes to the Fun-Bots, those bots are always destroying what they fixed, and they need to be stopped.

To clarify: Glam-Bunny was destroyed by the Fun-Bots while trying to rescue his mates, he is still functional but can't move, Henry keeps trying to find a way to fix him

WAHHHH catching up at work and overhwlemed and feel stupid idiot baby like I'm being talked down to and I KNOW I'm not and I'm just misreading tone here bc this person is very nice but also I feel stupid and dumb and am being treated as impermanent (I'm contract I Know but I would really like to turn this into a permanent job) and I'm too new and baby and ahhhh. Which is NOT helped by the fact that I have a zillion questions and policy and procedures haven't been explained and I don't want to bother ppl and ask questions BC I constantly look stupid and I'm just. I am minimizing what I ask to what I need to get my job done but at the same time. This is SUCH a new environment that I'm just. Terrified of fuckin up and being annoying? No I am not the lonely kid on the playground anymore but also. I AM???

I mean on the one hand it goes to show just HOW much professional development I was missing out on at my old job. On the other hand. I have a LOT of catching up to do. Training. Conferences. Idk man I gotta buff my CV if I want to keep working on this kind of environment long term (and I do!! I really do! + Need financial stability)

Hmm was Bruce actually abusive in the golden/silver/bronze age? Granted I havent read every issues of these periods, but from what I recall he never acted badly towards Dick back then, I thought he was a relatively decent supportive mentor/father figure, and not a cold one. To me he started being abusive only in post-crisis, & then I'd say it became a pattern in the 2000s? So thats odd when ppl say he was always like this even in the golden age cause thats just not true? Unless I missed smth idk

i mean i think that's kind of what gets to the crux of why arguments for bruce being an abuser (or not) dependent on consistency in history kind of falter. a definition of consistency within the realm of comics is pretty relative and largely dependent on whether you view canon as one cohesive unit or a collection of several cohesive units defined by writer, era, arc, etc. i differentiate characterization via writer and authorial intent, so i tend to favor writers i believe value robin's place in the mythos and who subsequently write bruce as a more conscious, involved parent (as opposed to the lone, obsessive, literally taken dark knight figure so many other writers opt for). personally i agree with you that bruce's demeanor prior to the modern era was comparatively warmer, and he and dick generally had the mutually supportive relationship to back up that assessment, but like you i haven't read every single issue either. if that one infamous panel of golden age bruce slapping dick exists there's probably a few other examples out there too to back it up in kind (and which i know people have dedicated the time to collecting). what happens bc of that is i end up steering away altogether from an approach of "well he was abusive here and here and here so obv he's holistically abusive" and steer more towards "well this writer values robin's place in bruce's life and acknowledges the figure as a potential equal to batman rather than a subordinate unworthy of personal viability in narrative, so i'm more interested in his portrayal bc it takes both characters in good faith rather than one over the other or neither at all in favor of an agenda divorced entirely of the genre". not everyone has to do that but i think it's an approach i prefer bc of how it balances different character interests against each other and allows for exploration of tensions without necessarily sacrificing either character wholesale

amaranth just gets to have really good food all the time bc shes royalty so theres like dedicated royal chefs there or whatever. idk. shes adaptable but i'm sure she misses it if she stays Out And About for awhile, like many things about pangea.

ezekiel hasn't really. associated themself with anyone in that way since their og cohorts died off but they're probably like my only oc who can cook well and i tell you hwat they make a mean soup. bet that would Be someone's comfort food, if anyone knew about it.

sarah is the type to benevolently annoy you to help distract you from whatever, but also i'd like to believe she has some kind of weird metaphysical knowledge that she's a Cool Animal that has a lot of like, nostalgic charisma so she uses that too, by which i mean "hey kid you wanna ride around on a t-rex? yeah of course you fuckin do lets go"

the prince/lucille is pretty aloof, but i think he’d offer the classic walk n talk. it’s more or less what he does for stress relief alone and he doesn’t mind having someone else with him. i think he also likes stars more than most of my guys, and given the whole 'lack of sun' thing for nk's domain there are always plenty of them out. if you don't want to talk about what’s troubling you can talk about that.

amaranth is generally…not…kind enough to care about ppl like that but i bet she knows a lot of cool and/or weird spots in space to show someone. maybe you can go commit low-stakes crimes together or something [she will not trust u with something actually risky if ur emotionally out of it]. .. ....she does also still like to fuck so like. if that would help. well.

wilddog's options are extremely limited but i think it usually knows the favorite messenger of a given guy so if it suspects someone's Troubled it'll send that specific messenger to 'em.

eris would b like. touches you on the head while rasping heavily. it doesnt help at all but he doesnt really know how to do anything else. those who Are friends with him can probably recognize it as a friendly gesture at least even if it still doesn't really help.

ezekiel again doesnt really associate with anyone in a friends type way so they're definitely not going to be GOOD at anything but they're also not like. heartless. THEORETICALLY i could see them just being the type to like. be Around. see if you need anything. invite a guy in if it's someone they actually trust--their home may be lonely, but it's also warm and peaceful.

... i'm actually kind of shocked i can't think of anything specific for spurlocke since he's supposed to be like, THE friend & homie guy. maybe since he's the main one who's actively Social he doesn't do as well with one-on-one sadness? i suppose most of his actions would be more along the lines of helping to Prevent you from getting down rather than picking you up once you're already there.

NGL i kinda miss playing wow nowadays...not bc of the game or lore or whatever but bc of my raiding guild. Like i had something else to do than work. Every time I felt lonely I could log on and chat with a few people or hop on discord voice n talk to a few guys who were always on voicechat. And like it wasn't even the most loving community or anything and I never really opened up to like any of them but having just a group of people to hang out with anytime helped me so much honestly... Like just to have the need for a little socialization fulfilled it was so perfect, even if I did not like all the people i played with. I also like have genuine fondness for some of them tbh esp the ones I used to run dungeons with too...

And being active on discord servers kind of soothed that need too but a lot of them I was/still am in either went inactive, or i left.... I'm only really active in one but also there I can feel I'm not super well liked (bc a lot of the times ppl took me trying to discuss something as an attack and also before I remade I got some weird anons and I'm pretty sure it was from somebody from there...) But also I don't want to leave bc there are people there who i really like and talk to...

Thank you Miss Dreea 🥺 I needed that advice. I have been single almost all my life (I am 24) and that's because before this I was too invested in academics and enjoying school-uni life with friends that the idea of a romantic relationship always seemed too time-consuming and something I would do at a later stage. I had a few brief flings but I was never serious with them and I also kind of avoided a few potential relationships by not giving much attention but now I am out of Uni and entering the professional world. School-Uni friends are all busy in their personal-professional lives and live in diff cities so I feel lonely and want to step into the dating game but it terrifies me because of 2 reasons

1. I am an over thinker and I think I have really high expectations which is a drawback imo

2. I have no experience with romantic relationships and I feel ashamed because I am not 16 and it's embarrassing when people ask me about it 😭

well, it's not the same but i can definitely relate about the whole dating game aspect. i've been in long term relationships throughout my twenties and now i just can't get back into the dating scene for the life of me. not that i ever dated in the true meaning of the word. all my exes i'd known before i started dating them, they weren't strangers i'd meet at a bar or on tinder etc. i just don't do well with these kinds of setups. i much prefer meeting ppl organically but looks like the world is a different place these days. hookup culture is a thing and i wish i were the kind to do one night stands, but i just aren't

so i get your struggle from this point of view. it's hard meeting quality people. it truly is.

and as far as your inexperience goes, i wouldn't worry abt that at all. i hope it doesn't come across patriarchal of me lol cuz lord knows i'm not, but men absolutely love being the first, showing you the ropes, etcetc. it's in their dnd, that primal possessiveness. my only concern would be you giving the wrong man this privilege. most wouldn't even know what to do with it and appreciate its value

so i dunno about this guy. does he know about your inexperience? maybe he's preying on it. i'd advise you not to tell people about this going forward until well into the relationship when things start to progress past an emotional connection

i find high expectations to be good. will it hinder the process of meeting ppl? absolutely. that being said, why should you settle for less than you deserve?
