PERSONALITY

Valentine is very quiet and tends to shy away meeting new people, which makes these entire pokemon games a nightmare for anyone who is super shy. Though, with the help of her Lycanroc, Gravel, she has become braver little by little. When not out battling, they tend to stay in their room to do basically anything but socialize with others. 

When you get to know her, she’s very passionate and loud, and talks almost non-stop. They’re also very affectionate with the people they love, and can often be seen cuddling up to one of their pokemon. 

Speaking of pokemon, they are extremely passionate about battling with their trusted pokemon, despite some of the injuries they can retain. She’s just very passionate about all pokemon in general, and aims to help wounded/in trouble pokemon no matter what.

BIOGRAPHY

After moving from region to region all their life, Valentine and their family finally settled in the “quiet” Galar region. In the summer, when not in school, her family often takes trips to Alola to visit relatives.

TRIVIA

Valentine has the unique ability to communicate with pokemon, with them understanding her, and her being able to understand them.

The region’s they’ve lived in are: Kanto, Johto, Sinnoh, and Unova.

They’ve also briefly visited Alola, where some of their relatives live.

Sometimes, she also gets cryptic dreams/nightmares of what is to come in the future.

You can’t see them as of right now, but Valentine has fangs!

Although they don’t look or act the part, they’re skilled in hand-to-hand combat. 

They also like to challenge and have practice fights to Bea to keep their skill up.

If she didn’t become the Champion, she’d definitely become the next fairy-type gym leader, or even the next fire-type gym leader!

Them and my Alola! S/I are cousins.

Her hair can either be wine-red or brown.

Due to extremely personal reasons, Valentine is absolutely terrified of heights and unless riding their pokemon/beside their pokemon, absolutely cannot go into high buildings/fly. 

For the same reason, she also gets extremely nervous in forests and around tall trees.

apollo tidbits

5′3″. Big height difference between her and liam - as well as between her and brother atlas, who’s liam’s height. atlas had some good laughs when his growth spurt set in and apollo’s didnt. she didn’t find it as funny

she has to stand on her toes to kiss liam. sometimes he just wraps his arms around her and lifts her up to smooch. they cute ok

the older twin. she will never let anyone hear the end of it if they ask

fluent in both english & japanese (while caelum ~dadryder~ doesn’t use his birth name anymore, he’s still very proud of his heritage and makes sure that both of his kids know their own culture and language)

she’s a tru Space Kid(TM) but she loves her homeland and goes down to earth to visit tokyo every once in a while (tbh this is the thing she misses most when they leave for andromeda)

very loud and outspoken, would be renegade if we still had the same alignment system. she and atlas are polar opposites tbh (apollo yells and threatens and takes what she needs by force, atlas is gentle and quiet but has a way with words)

she (probably) went to jon grissom as a teen - i can’t make sense of timelines LMAO. she never made many friends bc due to the parental neglect, she’s always been largely independent and just.. hasn’t seen much need for human contact and emotional attachments?

so of course once she’s in a relationship for once she realizes she’s actually quite starved for human contact (liam isn’t her first bf but he’s the first she fully manages to trust - she had a bf in the academy but it was bad so i’m not gonna get Detailed abt that)

she’s strong and ambitious, like her dad, but unlike him, she cares strongly about her family (of course, caelum does too, but he never really got over their mother and his way to deal with grief was always to bury himself in work - because of this and the following neglect, apollo assumed he just didn’t care about his kids), and would do anything she had to if it meant saving atlas

very very impulsive and headstrong which Shows when she’s in combat - she biotic charges Everywhere because she Can

luvs books and poetry and like.. she’s basically biotic ashley ok. she LOVES old classic literature and probs owns more than one version of jane austen collections. probably manages to drag along a suitcase full of nothing but books onto the ark
