A little sum up: Diana is the daughter of Valentina and twin sister to Beatrice (whom belongs to @camillejeaneshphm ) and since 2018, the Viscountess of Winbourne (same position Primrose had, since she's her greatx3-grandmother. She's a bit aloof and reserved, but sweet and incredibly loyal when it comes to her loved ones. During her teens, she fell for Quincey Alderly (@gaygryffindorgal ). At this time, he was a closeted gay man pursuing in secret a relationship with Dawn Harvelle (@potionboy3 ). Someone inside her circle betrayed her after overhearing a fight and she left in shame and heartbreak to France. She finished her studied in Beauxbatons and returned to England, where she locked herself to heal until her 30th birthday.

Some things to consider:

• She's a noble woman, so I'll give priority to those OCs who are good with events or descendants from Primrose's circle in the Victorian Era.

• During the time of pursuing she may be distrustful and try to push the person in question away, so keep that in mind.

BACKSTORY

Tatiana Primrose Somerset was born on the 20th of April, 1956 by Lawrence and Millicent Somerset, and grew up in luxury, though she wasn’t thrilled about the lifestyle. She soon began dressing and acting tomboy, and was thus sorted into Gryffindor, something that didn’t happen since her great-grandfather Malcolm Stolberg-Burke. 

At the age of 26, she fell in love with Olga Renaux and striked a relationship with her. When she told her brother, he wasn’t as thrilled as she thought, and when he gave her the ultimatum and reason of why, she felt trapped, not making her own mind up until three months, when she tearfully gave Olga up and lived for decades rejecting everyone and being always angry, becoming a heart-breaker and rebelling. 

When she was 66, she decided that she didn’t want to die alone, and thus she located Olga and travelled to Montpellier, where they spent three wonderful months before she proposed and they married there. Her grand-niece had no option but to disown her. She’s currently alive and living in Montpellier with Olga. 

MISC

She was the first female Somerset to attend university, getting three degrees: law, political sciences and sports. 

She speaks several languages, speaking nearly 10 

She was older than the Marauders and always competed with them, and was horrified to see what happened to them

hp founders' era dynamics: henriette of wessex and geirmund eriksson frederick of kent

The last decades of Anglo-Saxon rule, especially the ones preceding Cnut the Great were certainly rocky. Luckily, the cunning and wise Queen Emma and her hand, Godwin Earl of Wessex had pulled up a plan months after Cnut's coronation: they'd marry Emma's favourite, the beautiful and intelligent Henriette to Cnut's favourite, Geirmund Erikssn, to deepen the ties to England and Denmark.

This also had other motives rather than political, for Henriette had been embroiled in scandal with the Monarch of Changelings, Betwixt, and her family looked for a way to be rid of the creature who had influence on their daughter. Weeks after the marriage, the changeling was gone and Henriette announced her first pregnancy of many.

Geirmund was a viking by heart and a man of duty, he converted to Roman Catholicism (Anglicanism wouldn't appear until the 16th century with Henry VIII) and changed his name to Frederick of Kent, the place where he had been converted. Luckily, the couple soon bonded and started to fall for one another, and this 'passionate and fruitious marriage' would be an historic alliance, for six to eight children would be borne of the alliance.

They'd also be the first Lord and Lady of Winbourne, and the first beings who possessed magic. Magic wouldn't appear into the family until the late 19th century with Victoria Somerset (their descendant) attended the school they helped found, Hogwarts. Their line still survives, their most recent member being Viscountess Diana Somerset, fifth viscountess in her own right. Though many regarded Frsderick as the lord of the house, Henriette was certainly the power behind it, and the one whose bloodline mattered then most.

The two of them lived a happy marriage until her death in 1042 of a stroke.

When she rejected his love declaration, he swore that he'd never givey up on her and would wait until she was ready to give him a chance.

They found each other again first in Queen Elizabeth II's funeral and then in King Constantine's funeral months later. He remained faithfully by her side and made her smile throughout the exhausting ordeal. During those months, he kissed her for the first time, away from cameras and all, and the quote above was said.

On her 30th birthday, Diana called him for the first time and wondered if the offer to grab a coffee date was still up, and he was delighted to accept. For two years, they dated in a very slow pace, both wanting to enjoy it after the complicated lifestyles. On their third anniversary and weeks before her 33th birthday, he proposed and she said yes between tears. Their marriage was enthustically welcomed by the elders of the family, for she was now a Swedish royal by marriage and viscountess by right, making her more powerful than Primrose Gray. It also made her the second richest viscountess after Elizabeth Somerset in the 17th century. A year later, they welcomed identical triplet daughters, the eldest being the heir and the second ones being free to pursue their heart's desires.

viscountesses of winbourne + their successors

alina mikelova married george somerset on 1875, and the moment they were pronounced man and wife, they became the viscount and viscountess of winbourne. however, this didn't last long, for 1878 her husband died and she failed to birth an heir, making thus victoria, george's sister, her new successor.

victoria did have many pregnancies, but only one would give her her new successor: her daughter and only living child, primrose gray, the third woman in the family to become viscountess in her own right after her mother. in 1899, victoria died after twenty-one years as viscountess.

in 1900, primrose became viscountess after mourning her mother and soon became the most powerful and influential woman of winbourne and england itself. despite her successor coming into her life when she married her only son, she was influential and still treated as the true viscountess until her death in 1968.

despite having met in 1927, margaret did not become the viscountess fully until primrose stepped down in 1946, a year after wwii. margaret thus became the second most powerful woman in the estate and was educated by the viscountess herself.

in 1958, margaret's son lawrence married the beautiful but cunning and wise millicent abbott, from a small but wealthy sacred twenty-eight wizarding families. because primrose was still viscountess mother and margaret was the lady, she was known as mrs. somerset. ten years later she'd succeed as lady of winbourne as margaret and vincent became viscount and viscountess by law, though due to their age, millicent took often many exhausting activities from her mother-in-law's hands

in 1970, millie's only son fell for a turkish woman called ismene. millicent was reluctant and called to interrogate the girl, to discover a clueless girl who didn't know what she was getting into. she was, however, charmed by her kindness, cultured and erudited mind and gladly took her under her wing, teaching her the ways of winbourne.

in 1994, ismene convinced her husband to allow their only child, valentina, to take the reins and become a full viscountess. she dreamt of becoming like primrose, although she committed many mistakes and couldn't quite reach her power. she nevertheless was a good and generous viscountess and well-loved by the people.

and in 2018, valentina gave the reins of power to her eldest daughter diana, who gladly took them and has so far honoured her labour and those before her, being more like primrose unbeknownst to herself. she is the current viscountess and remains single and unmarried, and has no intention of marrying just yet, despite being 25 years-old...
