Malvaron: (confused by Yaga & Nova greeting each other) You two know each other?
Zorlon: Ha, didn’t you know, Malvaron? (Teasingly) Our Star Master has a thing for demi gods.
Nova: I don’t recall asking for your opinion, Zorlon!

💐+🌱 for Zorlon, 🌼+🌳 for Elysia, and 🌷+🌾 for Creed!!
Zorlon
💐What flowers would be used in a flower crown for your oc? Why those choices? I have to admit I wasn’t quite prepared for that one XD. I suppose if I to choose, it would be gardenias just because they’re on my mind right now. I can actually picture a bunch of hippies placing a flower crown on his head while he’s giving the ole’ Samurai Jack scowl lol.
🌱 What are some of your oc’s dreams? Goals? That’s kind of an easy one tbh. Zorlon’s ideal dream is that Malvaron would one day become his successor and would begin to teach a new generation of mages (and the Mysticons for that matter) with what he learned and even some new tricks that he came up with along the way. Meanwhile, the Z-man can retire in peace, perhaps find a nice cabin to reside in and start off fresh. By this point, he already sacrificed a good chunk of wizard years/immortality (still haven’t quite figured out my hc for that yet) to live and age like the average human.
Elysia
🌼 Has your oc lost anyone close to them? How did/would they respond if so? I wanna say it’s not so much she lost her family, but rather she didn’t have much of a family to begin with. Having grown up in wealth, she was more taken care of by the butlers rather than her own parents, who were too busy creating inventions for profit and boasting about it afterwards. Over the years, she just started making these inventions as a means to try to impress everyone around her, rather than forming any real passion for it.
🌳 What are some things your oc is proud of? She is somewhat proud of the inventions she makes, but the one she would be especially proud of is whichever really got her parents to notice her talents, since ultimately that’s what she wants.
Creed
🌷Does your oc have any collections? What of? Any reason why? He actually has a wide collection of venomous & poisonous animals. Not only does he potentially use their toxic attributes for his own dark purposes, he just finds them fascinating.
🌾 What is your oc’s favourite food? While he is a sucker for fine dining, there are very few things Creed likes better than a rat, alive and kicking! He tries not to eat them too often, since live food has the annoying habit of fighting back & potentially carry diseases, but sometimes his predatory nature just has to have its day or he’ll be very grumpy. Of course, he won’t say no to the occasional foz, whether it’s alive or roasted.
Thanks foe the ask, @extremely-pearlmethirsty!

A New Enlightenment
Warning: this fanfic contains a rather dark subject. Readers beware.
Maldore’s Peak, one of the highest, if not the highest, summits in all of Gemina, residing in the outskirts of just north of The Forest of Bryn. Nowadays, it’s become quite a tourist attraction, and with good reason. It was a marvelous sight by all accounts, as many wish to travel a great distance just to see its majesty.
However, one sought it out for a darker purpose...
Along a the edge of a cliff, at least two thousand feet off the ground, there stood what appeared to be a raggedy man, who seemed ever so forlorn. As the sun rose, all he could do was stare at the horizon, reflecting on his life. More over, his failure to protect his family from certain death.
Poor Zorlon, once a proud man with what he envisioned as the perfect family. He had his beautiful wife, Xalia by name, and a his baby daughter, who was not much older than two months old. Then, those damned skeletons appeared, and laid waste to them both. The worst part, Zorlon wasn’t there to protect them.
That thought alone brought the disheartened mage to tears. Why did this happen? What has he ever done in his life to deserve such a terrible tragedy? Just.... why?
Not that it mattered. After he let his tears flow, he took a good long look down below. It was a long way down, a fall from this height would be enough to kill a mere mortal.... and that was the idea; to end his seemingly futile existence. For a moment, he wondered if he should’ve climbed higher, to all the way to the top. But no, in the end he’d just be prolonging his torture. This was high enough.
With that, he inched ever so closer to the edge of the cliff, his eyes closed. He then lifted one foot forward, ready to just drop off the edge. The anticipation alone was driving him insane, to the point where his heart practically threatened to explode. Not turning back, this was it.
Or so it seemed....
Out of the blue, a mysterious butterfly, one with a blue aura, and a vibrant irredisence. This quickly caught Zorlon’s attention. He’s seen many butterflies before, but never one quite like this. Something about felt divine, as if Gygax himself sent it directly to him. But surely that couldn’t be... could it?
With curiousity coming full bloom, he held out his hands, just to see if the benevolent little insect would land on his palms. Sure enough, it did, and what followed next was something Zorlon never could’ve prepared for. As soon as it landed in his palms, it then transformed, forming into none other than Xalia, who cradled her daughter ever so gently.
Zorlon couldn’t believe his eyes. He thought for a moment if his mind was playing tricks on him. He wanted to say something, but he was at a loss for words. Xalia however, simply smiled. She was happy she got to see her knight in shining armor one last time, allowing for a proper goodbye. Instead of saying it in words, she did so by blowing him a kiss, shortly before gracefully disappearing.
Once again, Zorlon’s tears flowed, though this time not as strongly. Rather than tears of grief, these seemed to be tears of joy, for he knew for a fact that Xalia and their baby girl were at peace.
Bearing that fact in mind, he wiped away the rest of his tears, and wore a stronger expression. He then stepped away from the edge, and slowly but steadily made his way down cliff, resolving to find his way once more.

As a Father’s Day treat, here is a chapter frim Untold Tales!
Regrets
Upon entering the Stronghold, Zarya almost immediately went for her room. It had definitely been a long day. When she inspected her room, it seemed untouched. Perfect, everything is where I want it. Indeed, everything seemed to be as they should be, she's back on the team, she made peace with her friends, and they all made it home in once piece. And yet...
Suddenly, Zarya's cocky smirk faded, as she felt a tightness in her chest. She could not help but think of what happened in the past few days. A lot had happened, leading to the Ruthless Dreadbane obtaining not only the Dragon Disk, but also a piece of the The Almighty Codex. But what really made Zarya sick to her stomach, was the fact that she almost lost someone whom she looked after like a little sister, Piper. Perhaps worst of all, it was Zarya's fault.
Zarya felt especially bad after that thought. She tried to shrug it off, but it was no use, guilt was eating her alive. She thought about walking it off in the Undercity, but the last thing she wanted was for everyone to feel like she was running away again. Then, something came to mind. There was still one person she hadn't talked to since she got back, Zorlon.
Zarya sighed. She never was one to open up, preferring to keep her feelings to herself as a means to never show weakness. That said, talking to Zorlon somehow sounded like a nice idea. "Preeep!" Called out Choko, as he crawled on Zarya's shoulder, rubbing her head caringly.
"You think I should talk to Zorlon about this Choko?" Zarya quietly asked. Choko nodded his head yes, causing Zarya to sigh again. "I was afraid you were gonna say that." With that, she patted his head, and set him on his little bed that was above her hammock. "Okay, here we go."
Zarya snuck through the halls of th stronghold. At this point everyone went to bed. Well, almost everyone. Luckily, Zorlon always read a book or two before calling it a night. Sure enough, there he was in the study, reading a book. She took a deep breath just before entering the study, her left hand gripping her right arm.
"Hey, Zorlon." Zarya said casually. Zorlon then turned to look at the young rebel, with a stone cold face no less.
"Well, as I live and breath. Zarya Moonwolf." Zorlon said, coldly. Zarya then had her face positioned down, bracing herself for shouting. To her surprise, she felt his hand on her shoulder. When she looked up, she saw a smile on his face. "Welcome back, Zarya." That at least put a smile on her face, it would certainly make talking with him easier.
"Honestly, after what I've been through, feels good to be back." Zarya said. "So, hittin' the ole books huh? Let me guess, spell books? Book about Beasts?"
"Nope" replied Zorlon. "An adventure novel, Jarrick and The Cursed Island. It takes me back in my days as a young rebel." They both chuckled quite a bit at that. Zorlon then placed his book down and turned to look at Zarya. "So, what's on your mind?" Zarya's small smile then turned to a regretful frown. Zorlon picked up on that quickly, showing concern. "What's wrong?"
"I blew it... I blew it big time." Zarya said weakly, her voice breaking. "I thought I could trust Kitty, I thought she was my friend. When everyone was against her, I got so mad that I didn't see the truth they were trying to find out." By this point, small tears formed in her eyes. "And now I messed up! None this would have happened if I had just listened and never crushed the stupid logs! Now, because of me, we lost the Dragon Disk, we lost the Codex Piece, and we almost lost... Piper. All, because I... didn't want to believe the others... all because I didn't want to believe Kitty was an enemy."
From there, Zorlon could see what was bothering Zarya. No doubt this was haunting her ever since day one. While her tears were small, they were filled with so much pain and guilt. A small bit of silence filled the study afterward.
"It is true. You did make few mistakes." Zorlon said, breaking the silence, approaching the young rebel. "And no matter how much you might want to, you can't ever erase them. However..." He then placed a finger under Zarya's chin, gently tilting her head at eye level. "What's important is how you choose to handle your mistakes. We could either let our mistakes haunt us for the rest of our lives, or we can learn from them, and become all the stronger for it." Zorlon then gave an assuring smile. "Fact remains is you came through for your sisters in arms when it counted most. In that moment, you displayed courage, selflessness, and above all, loyalty. That alone makes you a remarkable individual, Zarya. That's why the disk chose you. Nothing should ever tell you different."
Silence befell the study once again. Much to Zorlon's surprise, Zarya rested her forehead on his chest, and started to lightly sob. She wasn't completely sure why she did so. Somehow, it felt so nice to let out her emotions and share them with someone, and to the mighty mage of all people.
At first, Zorlon wasn't sure what to make of this. He wasn't use to seeing the most rebellious member of the new generation of Mysticons so vulnerable before, at least not to this degree. All he knew for certain was that she really needed a friend more than anything at that very moment. Out of sympathy, Zorlon gave Zarya a warm hug, to which the teen held him tightly, sobbing a little bit more. The hug lasted a good long while until Zorlon looked at the clock on the wall. He lightly patted Zaya's shoulder before pulling back.
"Best to get some rest now, Zarya. You've had a long day."
Wiping a few tears she had left, Zarya made her way back to her room. Before exiting, she turned back to face Zorlon, with a smile no less. "Thanks, Zorlon." She said, shortly before she left. Zorlon then smiled himself, getting back to some last minute reading before much else.
As Zarya made her way back to her room, she felt much better than she did before. She still wasn’t sure what came over her. Sure, she was upset, but she never got all touchy feelings like that before, much less with her “stick in the mud” solon. Was she merely starving for a parent figure all this time? After all, all this time she had been looking after Piper, herself, and no doubt even The Pinkskulls back in the day. Perhaps it was her turn to seek guidance after all these years.
Whatever the case, Zarya began to have a new sense of enlightenment. True, she messed up, but she made up for it, and she would only continue to make up for it from there. She then made her way to her hammock, and prepared for a much needed good night's sleep.

About the "OC ask meme", I would like to ask for the next three: photo album, mixtape and (for an unkown curious reason) zodiac.
Now those are interesting questions. I’ll assume you’re inquiring for all my OC’s since there’s not one in particular stated here, so I’ll try to do that, or at least the ones I feel are applicable for said questions. So without further ado......
Photo Album
Zorlon & Xalia
I decided to do these two together because their favorite memory is very much the same one, and that’s the day their baby daughter was born. One can only imagine the feeling of happiness these two felt when holding their baby in their arms for the very first time of their lives. Both cried tears of joy back then. Being first timers, parenthood was a bit scary at first, though with that also came excitement, as both have wanted a child for several years after getting married.
Creed
By far his favorite memory was when he poisoned his callus father. That was the moment he truly felt like he was in control of his own destiny, and as such he felt like a big weight was lifted off his shoulders. Not to mention, it felt so good to get his revenge.
Elysia
I’d have to say that Elysia’s fave memory was when she utterly humiliated Em at the battle fair. She had won manny prior, but something about sabatoging Em and then pulling a low prank on her afterwards, causing the whole town to laugh at her soon after, felt very good to Elysia, as it made her feel superior.
Diablo
With our a doubt it was the day he killed one of his bullies back when he was but a lad. This bully picked on him so much merely for being a werewolf, but the straw that broke the camel’s back was when said bully stepped on his tail, which awakened the beats within. Since then, Diablo felt so liberated being able to do something against an oppressor, an therefore had carved his own destiny of being the predator, rather than the prey.
Calvore
Toiling in the netherworld, Calvore doesn’t exactly have happy memories. Ones he enjoys, however, are those of any of the poor souls who are sent to his realm are thereby sentenced to eternal torture.
Charlie & Nixon
Both their happiest memories are the day they got hired as Creed’s henchmen. Both were pretty down in their luck back in the day, so the thought of having a job was very exciting for them, even if it means brutally beating others in the process.
Seragus
Seragus is not typically one to think about which days are his favorites. If he had to choose one, it would be the day he beat Creed at chess. Both heartily laughed that day, and even toasted to the victory.
Mixtape
I’ll admit I’m not exactly a music man, though some music will catch my attention. Consequently, this means I don’t have much music to associate my OC’s with, except.......
Zorlon
I tend to associate him with “Scars” by Kiana, as it involves how pain and regret can remind the individual of someone, which is all too true with Zorlon and the tragedy that befell his beloved Xalia and their baby daughter. He had been mentally scarred that day, and though he’s better at hiding his pain now, not a day goes by when he doesn’t think about them.
Creed
“Asshole” by Helloween describes Creed perfectly. The lyrics profusely emphasize how terrible the person in question is being described in said song, and all descriptions fit Creed to a tee.
Zodiac
To be completely honest, I don’t really think about Zodiacs very often, and as such I’ve never really put much thought into which one’s fit my OC’s best. So, I’ve done this one to the best of my knowledge, so apologies if these seem a bit inconsistent.
Zorlon - Scorpio
Xalia - Pisces
Creed - Leo
Diablo - Virgo
Calvore - Capricorn
Charlie & Nixon - Taurus
Seragus - Capricorn
Thanks for the ask, @certainpeanuteggsempath!!!

#squad + psyche for... EVERYONE!!
Alrighty, let’s get started!
#squad
Zorlon
Over the years, Zorlon as been a part of several squads. The first squad was back in his rebellious youth when he joined a ragtag group of Mages, all led by his older brother (who’s current whereabouts remain unknown). He and Z-Man were so close back then, and practically went against the world together. This was short lived, for not only did they get separated during a storm, but when they eventually reunited, brother dearest framed Zorlon for a crime he didn’t commit. After that, Zorlon developed a rather cynical outlook on others, questioning if he could ever trust anyone again. Needless to say, that all changed when he met Xalia (more on that later).
Later on, Zorlon, along with with young Malvaron & Tazma, joined the Astromancers. Back then, his squad was with his squad was with said pupils, since the other Astromancers didn’t necessarily see eye to eye with him. As his foster son, Malveron highly looks up to Zorlon, who saw great potential in the young man. Tazma, on the other hand, greatly resented him due to feeling he held her back with her power, which Zorlon decided was for her own good, since he sensed darkness from her almost from the start.
This brings us to present day where Zorlon’s a member of the core group of the Mysticons. Despite some bumps here and there, he turned out to be quite the father figure to them.
Creed, Charlie, Nixon, and Seragus
I decided to do these all together since they are the current squad here. Needless to say, Creed is the alpha here, secretly being the Kingpin of Drake City and all, whereas Charlie & Nixon are his muscle and body guards if need be, and Seragus is his Butler.
Charlie & Nixon are dogs under Creed’s thumb, doing absolutely anything he asks in order to please him, and doing so with very little conscience. That said, they tend to annoy Creed with their relatively low I.Q. If there’s anyone Creed values in his organization, it’s Seragus. This is because he’s pretty much the only individual that Creed can have intelligent conversations and meaningful with, given that Seragus is quite the Einstein himself. With the upmost loyalty, Seragus wants nothing more than to satisfy his master, especially if it means getting rid of some dead weight.
Xalia
Despite her benevolent nature, Xalia never really had much in the way of friends. This is mostly because of her nomadic lifestyle back in her teens, never really sticking to one place for very long, much less long enough to make any friends. Then, the Z-Man of her dreams came along. If ever there was any couple made for each other, it was these two. Despite the occasional disagreement, they deeply loved each other, which would grow even stronger when they had their first (and only) child together. Surely nothing could go wrong.................. right?
Elysia
Elysia typically hangs out with a group of snobby rich teen dwarves, to which she is kind of sort of the leader of. Well, perhaps “leader” isn’t necessarily the correct word, but when she talks, the rest of said group listens, be it because she’s rich or mean. Point is, they don’t really look to her for much else, much to her dismay.
Diablo
Diablo’s a diehard introvert. He could care less about being in the presence of company, and would much rather be alone than with a squad. Occasionally, he may get paired up with a partner, depending on what any given client needs. Since he doesn’t play well with others, this annoys him, though he’ll tolerate it for the sake of an easy pay. One time, he managed to get paired with Clawdette, whom he didn’t hesitate to abandon, seeing as “her feels interfered with her deals”.
Calvore
Being the ever so nihilistic God of The Dead, Calvore doesn’t really find much value much in the way of friendship, not even in his own domain, seeing his minions as nothing more as a means to an end.
Psyche
Zorlon
For the most part, Z-Man is stable in terms of mental stability. His biggest challenge, however, was regret. Following the death of Xalia and their baby, Zorlon had been in a long state of depression that seemed endless. Even after turning away from the possibility of suicide, his depression would continue on for a long while, as not a day went by when he didn’t think about the tragedy that befell him.
After taking in Malvaron & Tazma as his own, his depression lessened, since it meant he had a chance to start over and begin life anew in a way. However, a new enemy surfaced in his mind, and that was a mild form of PTSD. Basically, all it took was the very mention of the words “dad” or “father” to make him freeze and receive flashbacks, as said words only remind of him if that faithful day when he lost his baby daughter. Granted said PTSD was mild, and as such didn’t cripple him from performing his duties, but it was an enemy just the same.
As far as what his coping mechanisms are concerned, reading a good book definitely served as the perfect distraction, especially when when there’s peace and quiet.
Creed
Being such a big business titan, Creed is generally an egotistical individual, practically bloated with overconfident and self importance. Yet, confident as he is, he’s rather prone to paranoia. This is because he’s worked so hard to get where he is while working under the radar of local authorities & The Royal Family. If word got out by a reputable individual, he’d be ruined. The same can be said with the power he’s obtained over the years. He’s so use to being in control in his own right. Therefore, the thought of losing such power scares him to no end. The perfect distraction for such paranoia is counting all the coins that he pilfered from the less fortunate.
Elysia
Elysia tends to suffer anxiety, particularly when there’s someone else who rivals her ingenuity. After all, she only ever got into inventing to gain the love and attention she never quite received from her always busy parents, so the thought of losing all the praise that she worked so hard to gain would devastate her. On that note, that feeling of neglect and unloved has resulted in mild depression. Her time spent inventing things served her well to take her mind off things, and being surrounded by her so called “friends” makes her feel like somebody.
Xalia
For the most part, Xalia had pretty good headspace, so I don’t see her having truly suffered from any mental disorders or challenges. If any, it would be in her youth, where she felt rather timid, and was afraid to speak to any potential friends.
Diablo
To say that Diablo has a little problem with anger would be putting it mildly. Though he generally has a calm exterior, within lurks unbraided rage waiting to rip anyone near to shreds. It’s been a problem ever since his youth, where he was often persecuted for being a werewolf, just some “savage beast”. Nowadays he’s become better at keeping his rage under control, usually partaking in a good hunt to calm himself. Even in that rare event where he loses it, he’s more than glad to take his rage out on either his prey, or anyone who gets in his way.
Calvore
Ironically, Calvore seems to have a serious god complex, with inflated feelings that he alone is the ultimate power out there. A claim that ultimately proved false, since his brother Gygax banished him to Morton, The Netherworld.
Charlie & Nixon
To be simple and to the point, Charlie & Nixon don’t have much in terms of good head space, given that both are brutish dipsticks who blindly serve their boss, no matter how badly they’re treated.
Seragus
Seragus is rather prone to OCD, wanting every nook and cranny of his boss’s HQ to be absolutely perfect, even whenever it’s already presentable.

If you’re still doing the OC asks— Zorlon, tell us what you think about Queen Truefin~
Zorlon: *blushes slightly, not quite prepared for the question* Um... *starts rubbing the back of his head* well, she’s a great leader, despite being somewhat headstrong. Not that I blame her; honestly I don’t envy her one bit. After all, for the fate of her kingdom weighs heavily on her shoulders. *clears his throat* those are pretty much my thoughts. I wish I could say more, especially about how her eyes are as pretty as- *immediatly covers his mouth before he could finish, his cheeks as red as roses* Um.... Malvaron, time for training! *hastily walks out of the interview*

3+23 for Xalia, 95+100 for Diablo, and 74+83 for the Z-Man!!
Xalia
3. How competent would your oc be in a survival situation? Would they be better off on their own or in a group?
I believe she’d be quite competent in such a situation: ever since her home had been burned to ashes, she had been quite nomadic, having braved through the wild several times. In such situations, she focused more on necessities as opposed to material goods.
As for whether or not she’d be better off on her own or with others, I suppose that would depend on the individuals she meets. She was willing to give most people a chance, though if she suspected any “strange” behavior, I doubt she would’ve stayed with such people for very long.
23. How graceful is your oc? Are they elegant in their movements, or more clumsy?
She would be more on the graceful side. Back in the day, she would perform spells like that of a delicate ballet dancer, rarely ever losing her footing. In fact, she actually learned ballet at some point in order to improve her balance and maintain her grace.
Diablo
95. How is your oc about keeping someone else’s secret? Are they the gossiping type, are do they hold true on their promise to keep things quiet?
He is generally pretty good about keeping things to himself, seeing absolutely no reason to tell someone else a secret unless it would benefit him. Otherwise, as far as he’s concerned, whatever it is he knows is no one else’s business.
100. Does your character ever swear? How often? How vulgar is their swearing?
He would probably swear every once on a blue moon, though I can’t really see him swearing profusely as he wouldn’t really see the point in using swear words for emphasis. Even on the rare occasion that he does, he probably would use moderate language.
Zorlon
74. How would your oc act when drunk? What about when really, really tired?
I don’t really see the Z-Man as being too big on drinking considering he generally likes to represent as professional, so getting drunk is usually not a factor. That said, I can see him drinking small quantities of champagne on special occasions, such as small get togethers.
As for when he’s really, really tired, he’s pretty much as grouchy as a bear with a thorn in his toe, especially after a long night. I’m other words, no one should talk to him until he’s had a cup of coffee XD.
83. What is your oc’s favourite trait about themselves? What about their least liked? What would others like and dislike the most about your oc?
That’s a great question actually. For as long as he can remember, Zorlon has had a low opinion of himself, finding very few things to like about himself. That’s actually the trait that he disliked most: his frequent sense of inadequacy ever since his beloved Xalia and their baby, which led to some serious self loathing over the years. It wasn’t until he had a little heart to heart with Zarya that he began to think that maybe he doesn’t need to be so hard on himself over what happened in the past and instead focus in his new family.
Finally getting to his favorite trait about himself, it’s his love for learning, not just about magic but about the world in general and all that’s in it. For a while, it was merely to better himself for the real world, but nowadays he can just enjoy knowledge for the sake of knowledge.
As for what others may like or dislike about him, that really depends on who you ask. Needless to say, what his core group like most about him is his fatherly advice that he tends to give to whomever needs it, as well as his vast knowledge. What they may dislike most about him for his rather strict and no nonsense demeanor, as he can be quite a stickler for the rules unless circumstances are dire.
Thanks for the ask, @extremely-pearlmethirsty!

Zorlon; how did you meet Xalia? What did she look like? Creed; if she was around, what was your relationship with your mother like? Diablo; what was the most messed up thing you've ever done?
Zorlon: (wistfully looks at his Lockett, opening it to feature him standing next to Xalia with their baby) She was by far the most beautiful mage I had ever laid eyes on. She had skin as white as snow, lush, long brown hair, and eyes as green vibrant as emerald gems. On the first day we met, I was sitting on a log, despairing over my betrayal. Xalia happened to be walking by, sensing my negative emotions.
She then sat next to me, and asked: “Why are you sad?” And I answered, rather cold I might add, “you wouldn’t get it.” And turned my head away. She then placed her hand on my shoulder and said, “Try me.” (Looking a bit more jolly upon remembering a positive memory) To this day, I don’t fully know why I started talking to her. Perhaps it was her soothing voice, or the enchanting look in her eyes, or the thought of someone caring what I was going through. Whatever the reason, we talked, and a friendship bloomed, which, as we got older, formed into romance.
Creed: (smiles and giggles mischievously) My, my. Now there’s an interesting query. Truth be told, I don’t recall much of mother dear, seeing as how she “mysteriously disappeared” when I was but one year of age. The truth of the matter was, as I found out eventually, Daddy Dearest had killed her for trying to sneak away with me, for she didn’t want me to have the life that the old miser had.
But, I digress. Sometimes I get flashes of a female viper cradling her infant and singing lullabies, but that’s about it. (Wears a somwhat melancholy expression) Would I ever want to see her again? Perhaps part of me does, yet the other part could honestly care less. If there’s anything I’ve learned, (extends his fangs in irritation) is that parental figures do nothing but inconvenience you!
Diablo: (in calm yet somwhat raspy voice) I have done many things that some would consider, “messed up”. In my line of work, none of my victims have ever really been that important for me to remember how I’ve killed them when instructed to.
(Starts growling, seeming more tense) Yet, one memory comes to mind. When I was but a lad, I was often ostracized for being a werewolf, accusing me as a “savage beast”. One day, an insignificant ogre, who was not much more than a bully, decided it would be a good idea to step on my tail, just to get a reaction. (claws extend, looking ready to shred something) Indeed he got one, as I tore him limb from limb, until only his head remained. To this day, I still have his head mounted on my wall. (stares at you coldly, growling and baring his teeth) You won’t tell anyone, will you?
Thanks for the asks, @extremely-pearlmethirsty!

6, 10, and 12 for Zorlon!
6. Do they have a personal rule that they won’t break? What’s the story behind it? Given his traumatic past, his personal rule would be to never lose anyone close to him ever again. This is his primary reason why he’s so passionate & strict about training his students to be the best they can be, as he never wants any one of them to be helpless. He’s felt that feeling before, and frankly it’s something he’d never wish on his worst enemy.
10. If they could have a video of any memory in their life, what memory would be choose? In general, that would be almost any moment when his baby daughter was alive. It was the proudest moment of his life, and naturally he’d want to cherish every moment. He would also want a vid of Malveron performing a powerful spell taught to him all on his own. No doubt he was especially proud of Malvaron that day.
12. Do they have a lie they tell often? Why do they lie about it? Is there someone they never lie about it to? I’d like nothing more than to say Zorlon had never lied before in his life. Alas, that in itself would be a lie, as everyone has lied at least once in their life, even if it is a harmless white lie.
That being said, I imagine Zorlon would have told several white lies to Malvaron when the young mage was 6 years old. Typical of parent figures, he probably told Malvaron stories of some sort of boogeyman that would get him if he didn’t train hard or didn’t do what he was told in general. Malvaron would likely find it funny today, being the easy going lad he is.
While on the subject, I want to take this opportunity to mention a little “behind the scenes” info. Before “Mysticon Origins” was finalized, Zorlon was originally going to know all about the “unknown twin” being taken by Nova, whom he berated to for trying to throw her into the astral plane. After Nova thought better of it, they both still decide it was too risky for the twins to be together. Much to Zorlon’s shame, he would have had to keep this secret for what felt like an eternity. That was, until that faithful Arkayna would find eventually out. Needless to say, after how his origin story in “Mysticon Origins” unfolded, I could never use that idea as it wouldn’t have made any sense chronologically speaking.
Thanks for the ask!

8 for Zorlon Icestone?
8. What do they think their spirit animal would be? What would their actual spirit animal be? Why are they right or wrong? I like to think that his animal spirit would be a lion, given his general disposition of being a fierce warrior by necessity & can be pretty no nonsense at times, yet pretty easy going a good majority of the time. I’m this case, perhaps he’s right since I’d imagine he’d be pretty self aware enough of his own nature that he would probably think his animal spirit is a lion.
Thanks for the ask!

Eleanor Moonwolf: B, Zorlon: K, and Creed: N!
Eleanor Moonwolf: B (note: she is a semi oc so this is mostly head canon)
What is her hair color? Her hair was black like a raven’s feathers.
What is their eye color? Hazel
How tall is they? She was about 5’8”
How old are they? In my head canon, she aged about 32 before her untimely demise.
How much do they weigh? Given her height and her rather slender but athletic build, I’d estimate around 110 pounds.
Zorlon Icestone: K
Have they ever thought about suicide? He considered suicide the very next day following the passing of his wife an daughter; the idea was to find the steepest cliff and just jump. However, with a sign from the powers that be, he thought “if I give up right here, right now, how will I know if anything in would get better.” Thus, he thought better of it.
Have they ever thought about homicide? I can’t say there was anyone he’d ever truly “want” to kill. If there was anyone who would be on his homocide list, that’d be Necrafa for being queen of the very evil that killed his family.
If he could kill anyone without punishment, would they? Who? Any vile revenant from the spectral hand would be on his list if he ever let vengeance cloud his better judgement.
Who would miss them if they died? It almost goes without saying that Malvaron would spend the rest of his life missing him. After all, Zorlon raised him ever since he was 6. The Mysticons themselves would find themselves very saddened by his death, especially Zarya since she looked to him as a father figure to fill in the void, and I’d imagine Piper would too.
Who would be happy they died, anyone? This is a great question actually. I’d imagine any enemy of the Mysticons, with the possible exception of Tazma, would be glad that there would be one less ally to help them. As for who I would personally enjoy it? I can’t say I can think of anyone at the top of my head.
Creed Slitherwick: N
What would they never do? For sure he would never leave any loose ends untied once a deal has been sealed. After all, if info ever got out of his true status, he’d be ruined. He also know better than to directly challenge someone who has a higher power status than he does, as they would most assuredly put him away and or humiliate him once the secret’s out. Given his greed, I will be damned if he ever donates to charity.
What have they never done that they want to do? At the top of my head, I’d imagine he wants to dive a little deeper in his ancient ancestors, that of course being snakes, merely out of curiosity if nothing else.
Is there anything they absolutely can’t believe people would do? Having seen the real world for what it is, there isn’t much he wouldn’t believe some people would do. If there’s one, it’s how hopeful some of the Undercity kids can be even after some of the hardship they endured.
What is the most embarrassing thing they’ve done? He forgot to wear his top hat one day during an important meeting. Poor Charlie and Nixon didn’t recognize him XD.
Have they done anything they would never do? There is one teeny tiney spoiler that I’ll place in bold italics if you’re truly curious........
5. For Creed: He finds himself teamed up with Tazma in order to destroy the Mysticons. He would never have otherwise, seeing Tazma as a “silly little girl”. Suffice to say, Tazma can be a bit... persuasive.
Thanks for the ask!

Z for Xalia, U for Zorlon, and B for Calvore!
Xalia
Z: Zebra
What’s their favorite animal? I’m assuming fantasy animals count as well? If so, I’m gonna go with unicorn since she was always been fascinated by these creatures. In my hc, unicorns are a critically endangered species in Gemina due to the value in their horns (similar or our rhinos), so she would probably try to save one if it were caught in a trap.
Do they like animals? As a matter of fact, she does! While I wouldn’t necessarily say animals were her passion, she found value in all living things, and would always show empathy when she had to hunt one as a means for survival, often praying to Gygax to grant the animal’s soul safe passage to the afterlife.
Cats or dogs? I can see her as being more of a cat person since due to their more delicate nature and their independence.
What’s their dream pet? Dream pet would most likely be unicorns for reasons mentioned in 1.
Do they have any pets at the moment? That would be a solid no since she’s currently residing in the after life (insert sad violin music here). Even before so, she and her family never really had the luxury for pets, since her baby was already a handful to care for.
Zorlon
U: Underdog
Have they been bullied? Back when he lived at a mage temple, he was indeed bullied pretty heavily back in his youth. Similar to Proxima, he wasn’t a natural when it came to magic, and he was often picked on for it.
Have they bullied anyone? While he never did back in his youth, the thought of getting back at his bullies had crossed his mind once or twice. His own father, however, told him that it wouldn’t make him any better of a mage than his oppressors.
Have they been physically attacked by a bully? Rarely. It was more verbal bullying than physical bullying to belittle his magic skills.
Have they ever been doubted? This is where we cut to years later. For the majority of his years at the astromancer academy, Zorlon was doubted quite often by others, Gandobi & Nova especially. Not so much because of his magical skills, but rather his judgements, as his views more often than not clashed with theirs. Because of this, Nova never truly believed that Zorlon could ever train the Mysticons as well as he did.
Have they surprised people with being good at something? Nova was indeed impressed wit Zorlon’s magical abilities when he first met him, just before having to rescue him when the younger mage got sloppy.
Calvore
B: Basics
What is their hair color? Seeing that he’s a humanoid skeletal dragon-like being, he had no hair what so ever.
What’s their eye color? Best why to describe is that the sclera is red to reddish orange, with a thin gold iris around the spliced pupil, giving a hellish look, similar to sauron’s eye from LOTR
How tall are they? He’s AT LEAST 50 feet tall, making him a daunting sight to behold.
How old are they? He’s Gemina’s very own God of Death. In short, this would make him as old as the dawn of time.
How much so they weigh? As best as my math can muster, I want to say at least 15 tons? He’d probably be heavier if he wasn’t mostly bone.
Thanks for the ask, @extremely-pearlmethirsty!!!

Zorlon, Creed, and Elysian!
Ah, a three for one deal!
I’ll go ahead and start with Elysia since she’s one of my minor and thus more obscure OC’s, one that I intend on using again in the future.
Full Name: Elysia Opal Crane
Gender: Cis Female
Sexuality: Not sure yet, possibly bisexual.
Pronouns: She/Her
Ethnicity/species: Dwarf, Irish American
Birthplace: I wanna say a place rather similar to Drake, though haven’t nailed it down just yet.
Birthdate: October 1st (15 years old)
Guilty Pleasures: Rom-Coms
Phobias: Arachnophobia
What They Would Be Famous For: Coming from a family of steampunks, she is a great inventor in her own right. Wanting to be in the spot light, she would likely try to invent something so awe inspiring that her story would be told for generations.
What They Would Get Arrested For: If she ever got desperate enough for fame(which I wouldn’t doubt would happen), she would steal some pretty hardcore tech or get a hold of some illegal tech.
OC You Ship Them With: Non applicable for now
OC Most Likely To Murder Them: I don’t really have any OC’s that would know her that well, though let’s just say a certain reformed golem gets that idea...
Favorite Movie/Book Genre: Science Fiction for sure.
Least Favorite Movie/Book Cliches: The stubborn leader/father who won’t listen.
Talent and/or Powers: As mentioned earlier, she is a great inventor, and has invented some pretty “out there” inventions over the years. As such, she’s very savvy on various tools and machines, particularly those most would have trouble with.
Why Someone Might Love Them: Those of like minds would like Elysia for her intellect, which pretty high to say the least, likely enough to get her out of high school early. As such, she’s actually quite poplar among snobby inventors in her own core group. Deep deep down, however, she somewhat has a low opinion on herself, mostly for when it comes to her family’s inventions. To be frank, her parents are very egotistical and usually don’t give her inventions much thought, which is what drives her to seek fame and create such gadgets. This reveals a softer side that she doesn’t show publicly, in truth all she wants is to feel appreciated.
Why Someone Might Hate Them: Wanting to be all high and mighty among her peers, it’s actually quite easy for others to hate her, as she’s very condescending and and cold, often saying the most hurtful things to those she considers beneath her. Above that, she’s very underhanded and will finds creative ways to sabatoge her competition, which so far had been Em, the only dwarf so far who had ever posed any real threat to her status. Talking of which, Elysia’s also very prone to jealousy, especially among other such inventors like Em, who have invented quite a few impressive items as well.
How They Change: This is where we get into slight spoiler territory....
She won’t change a WHOLE lot, but after a series of unfortunate events, she softens up a bit and develops a bit more respect for Em over time, as she opens up to Em why she is what she is.
Why You Love Them: Needless to say, she’s not someone I’d get along with in real life. That said, I enjoy smart bully characters who attack verbally rather than physically, which in many respects is almost worse than physical bullying as they can mentally mess someone up. I also like her eventual slight change of heart. I emphasize slight as people like her don’t truly change, though it’s nice that she heads in the right direction.
_____
Full Name:
Former name: Hectillius Fang
Current name: Creed Slitherwick
Gender: Cis Male
Sexuality: Aromantic Asexual
Pronouns: He/Him
Species: Anthropomorphic Viper
Birthplace: Oron
Birthdate: November 20th (Age 35)
Guilty Pleasures: Newspaper comics
Phobias: No specific phobia, but he is paranoid of anyone finding out his true status as a crimelord.
What They Would Be Famous For: Here we have two sides of the same coin. On the surface, he’s already famous as Drake City’s leading philanthropist/entrepreneur. People idolize him and young kids wish one day to be him. On the other hand, in the eyes of the Undercity he’s the most infamous crimelord. Most criminals idolize him for allowing criminals free range in the Undercity, as well as Drake City depending on areas where authorities are more scarce. Those who are innocent in the Undercity despise and fear him due to his greedy nature, taking from the innocent any chance he can get and will dispose of anyone in his way.
What They Would Get Arrested For: Would you like the short list, or the loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong list? Honestly, he’d likely face a death penalty for stealing the petrified King and Queen alone.
OC You Ship Them With: Being an Aro-Ace, he’s not likely to get shipped anytime soon. Ha, admittedly I thought of a funny bit where Serena Snakecharmer develops a light crush on him since he complimented her hair, though that won’t be canon.
OC Most Likley To Muder Them: There is no shortage of people who would love to drive a knife through Creed’s heart. Spoiler Alert: Someone Actually Succeeds
Favorite Movie/Book Genre: Mystery, horror, crime dramas
Least Favorite Movie/Book Cliche: When people split up and get picked off during horror movies.
Talent and/or Powers: His mastermind-level intellect alone is the most dangerous trait he has, as he comes up with elaborate yet clever schemes to evade the local authorities, the royal guard, and, especially the Mysticons. Though he’d rather not get into a physical confrontation if he can help it, he’s very well versed in melee combat, as well as marksmanship with canes that have venom projectiles. He can also morph into a seemingly normal viper and evade or sneak up on his opponents, or simply to escape. Being a viper, he also has a deadly venomous bite that would end just about anyone, and will gladly do so if he feels the need rises. Perhaps his most notable talent, however, is his knowledge in criminology and business, thus learning how to use charisma to his advantage and turning every weakness into a strength.
Why Someone Might Love or Hate Them: I decided to combine these two together since, again, it’s two sides of the same coin. People would love him simply for his seemingly humanitarian life style. The naíve citizen would simply idolize him for his efforts to bring a better tomorrow for his fellow citizens.
Of course, this is all just a facade, as those who know Creed very well realize that he’s one of the most dispicable individuals out there. By name and definition, he’s a monster, having very little to no sorrow for any of the immoral deeds he commits, whether it’s stealing from those naìve enough to donate to his “fundraisers”, killing off street rats merely for getting in his way, tricking the poor unfortunate people into his debt, and perhaps his biggest crime to date, kidnapping the petrified King and Queen.
How They Change: In a way, Creed already has changed for the worst. In his youth, he simply wanted to belong into society, but was often singled out due to his father’s criminal status, to say nothing that he was a venomous species. After taking up the criminal lifestyle and becoming a prodigy, his father set him up and he ended up in prison. Since that day, Creed has learned that being as ruthless as possible was the only way to claw his way to the top.
In this day in age, he won’t ever change his ways. He’s become a negative flat character arc, rather than changing much himself, he influences/manipulates change around him for the worst.
Why You Love Them: Creed pretty much is everything I love in a villain; intelligent, sneaky, scheming, and lovably heartless (weird contradiction I know). It’s also worth noting that he didn’t start off as a monster, he was made into one, and that all comes from his upbringing and his environment.
———
Full Name: Zorlon Icestone
Gender: Cis Male
Sexuality: Straight
Species: Wizard? I’m not all too clear if that’s considered a race separate from humans or not.
Ethnicity: Caucasian American
Birthplace: An old mage temple on the outskirts of Gemina.
Birthdate: January 24th (he looks to be in his late 30’s to early 40’s, but is actually about 600 years old.)
Guilty Pleasures: Reading Harry Potter-Esque books
Phobias: Thanatophobia, more specifically he’s afraid of losing those close to him the same way he lost his wife and daughter.
What They Would Be Famous For: Being an Astromancer, thus a protector of the realm, he would easily be recognized as one of the best members in the astromancer academy.
What They Would Get Arrested For: Though he wouldn’t actively try to break the law in any shape or form, he likely would have been arrested for treason to the astromancer council if circumstances had gone differently in “Gems of The Past”
OC You Ship Them With: While I dont have another OC to ship Zorlon with, I have a confession to make. So my closest tumblr friends know I don’t actively ship characters, right? Well, I thought once or twice about shipping him with Queen Truefin, mostly for laughs but I also thought some chemistry could come out of it. I doubt it will be canon in my stories though.
OC Most Likely To Murder Them: The only OC I have right now that would have intentions to murder Zorlon is Creed. However, that likely won’t happen, as both will rarely, if ever, meet.
Favorite Movie/Book Genre: History, though being 600 years old he would be very nitpicky about “historical accuracy”. He also likes the occasional adventure book/movie.
Least Favorite Movie/Book Cliche: Love Triangles
Talent and/or Powers: He is one of the most powerful astromancers in the realm, surpassing Nova Terron within 2 years. As such, he’s able to tap into extremely powerful magic. He’s also very well versed with melee combat with his magic staff, as years have granted him much battle experience, enabling to take down various foes. His advanced age also made him smart as a whip for anticipating his opponents attacks. Beyond that, he’s a very good teacher and is great at inspiring his students to push forward and keep on trying their hardest. Perhaps his greatest strength is his expansive knowledge and wisdom, which pretty much stands to reason given his advanced age and all that he’s seen in the world as a result.
Why Someone Might Love Them: Despite being a fierce warrior by necessity, Zorlon is a gentle soul who wants nothing more than to help those whom he can give guidance to. As such, he’s more fatherly toward his students and allows them to train at their own pace, his philosophy being that students should be allowed to grow as into their role as magic users.
Why Someone Might Hate Them: There are times when Zorlon can be strict when it comes to training, which can be off putting to some of the more brash and impulsive students assigned to him. Aside from that, most of the astromancers, Nova included, don’t get along well with him due to his ideals and his tendencies go against their wishes which tend to be sketchy at best.
How They Change: Again, in many respects, Zorlon has already changed. In his early youth, he was a rebellious teen adventurer, getting into all sorts of danger. As the years went by, he matured and became a loving husband and doting father. Upon losing his family, he entered a state of depression that seemed endless, to the point where one day he contemplated suicide, but ultimately he thought better of it. Once he met Malvaron and Tazma, he viewed it as a chance to start over, allowing him to grow more self assured yet more no nonsense as a result of his loss.
In this day in age, Zorlon is not likely to change his ways. Like Creed, he is a flat character arc, only in this case he influences positive change rather than changing much himself over the course of the series.
Why You Love Them: To this day, I consider Zorlon to be my best OC, for he’s the one I’ve dedicated the most time to developing than any other I’ve created in the past. Even if I’m tooting my own horn, what’s not to love? He’s kind, fatherly, wise, attentive, and will guide you every step of the way if you feel lost.
Phew, that kept me busy, but it was well worth my time. Thank you so much for the asks!
