Why Did Zarya Go to the Party in "The Coronation"?

I was thinking about why Zarya went to the party in "The Coronation". While I may come up with a theory during the post, most of it will be explaining why that's surprising in the first place.

When I first thought of this, the reason it seemed weird was that everyone was going to a party Arkayna was completely excluded from. However, this is a pretty weak reason why this is strange. The party happened relatively shortly after becoming Mysticons, so Zarya didn't have much time to be close to Arkayna. This would have made going to the party easy, especially when Arkayna said that she was fine with them going and the fact that Em was still going to the party. Zarya knew Em was close to Arkayna, so she likely trusted Em knowing if Arkayna meant what she said about them going to the party, or if them going would upset her.

The reason I think this is kind of weird is the fact I doubt Zarya would be interested in the party in the first place. Gawayne is pretty much the perfect example of why Zarya disliked the royal family before meeting Arkayna, so she wouldn't want to celebrate him becoming king. She doesn't seem interested in "gnomes 2 men" (though since she was smiling at the party, perhaps she dislikes Lance, but is fine with the rest of the band), so unlike Piper and Em, that wouldn't bring her to the party. And while she never complained about wearing a dress, I'm surprised Zarya didn't complain, considering how she acted towards a tiara. Not everyone in the realm was expected to attend, as Doug and Malvaron were having a boy's night, so Zarya could have found somethng else to do.

In short, while the Mysticons being there was important to the plot, I don't know for sure why Zarya went. I have two potential theories though. The first is that Zarya was still building up trust with Em and Arkayna, so she didn't want Piper going to the party without her. This is the least likely reason, as Zarya isn't overprotective of Piper, so she probably wouldn't worry about the elf going to the party even if she were alone. My other theory was that she wanted to get out of the house so Malvaron and Doug can have their boy's night, and figured that the party was a good enough reason, especially since many places that would normally be open would be closed due to owners going to the party, so Zarya decided she might as well go to the party.

In short, this isn't a big deal. However, it was fun to think about.
