I have the same feeling. The dfb approved the docu before it was filmed and now none of the players even post about it or want to talk about it. shit must be about to go down...

i think the documentary is out for pure scandal and drama. that's why the trailer looked like that. they literally included a scene of oliver bierhoff (who is very much responsible for a lot that went wrong the last few years and we all know has no problem with directly blaiming players for failure of the entire team) saying 'what is wrong with this team?' instead of having their back. apparently, dfb wanted them to cut out a scene where they filmed a discussion of the coaching team about the physical conditions of the players, which is valid i guess because maybe not everything needs to be discussed publicly (see hansi's comments about niklas süle). the producers also really wanted an interview with schlotti after he had this bad performance in the game against japan and were offended that he took two days to be ready for an interview with them. there is a lot wrong with this approach.

Oliver Bierhoff said Manu has been in contact with the other captains and they all wanted to wear the armband but when Fifa issued threats, some nations pulled back. And so Dfb decided to pull back as well in order to not risk anything longterm, which was exactly Fifa's plan
