So apparently, there is a second Sofia the First spinoff in the works right now. And so while this is still admittedly hardly the ideal time for me to get unnaturally and unhealthy invested in the Ever Realm Cinematic Universe (and especially in Elena of Avalor) , it's also not hypothetically the worst time for me to get invested in it either.

Ohhhh two in one! Aaaand neither of them is going to be easy to decide about.

So, Nathaniel Thorne . . .

can you relate to this character on a personal level?: no | not really | somewhat | yes | they are me

One thing of which I am quite certain: while I can't relate to Nathaniel's trauma, I can relate to the desire to seclude oneself in a semi-magical manor with one's magical not-really-a-cat. Less certain: what any kind of relationship would look like. Realistically speaking, I don't think we would be a great pair . . . but I also think I would be charmed enough that I would try if given the opportunity. And eventually, there probably would be a mutual realization that, look, this is not working; there are some fundamental differences here, and no one would be happy, but we would sadly agree that it's for the best. And then he would go do something dramatic out of heartbreak, and I would go console myself with Lady of Dreams and copious amounts of sea salt caramels.

As for Zero . . .

I am pretty sure this question took me as much time to answer as most of your others combined. With Zero it depends a lot on when in the series you're asking. Start-of-series Zero, he's not even looking in my direction, and with his attitude, I wouldn't give him a chance to. But late-series Zero, once his attitude towards humans shifts . . . I don't know. I keep getting caught up in logistics, because any kind of friendship or other relationship would probably develop very slowly, but if it did develop, it could go a lot of different ways. And given that he is, well, not a particularly emotionally-in-tune person and I am oblivious and tend to match the energy of whoever I'm with, it's extremely probable that no one would notice there was anything going on (friends-wise or romantic-wise) until something happened to threaten whatever it was and everyone involved suddenly goes oh.

(On the upside, while there is very much an age difference to a degree that would normally render any kind of relationship improbable, at least it's less of a problem when the two halves of the pair are working on completely different time scales.)

Send me a character to rate (and distract me from how much money I've had to spend on car stuff)!

I found a bunch of my really old Eggman art I never posted and some were before I made my blog lol. looking back, I see I've actually immensely improved which is a given with how old they are but I don't give myself enough credit by thinking nothing has changed when the difference is huge actually

for example all my Eggmen looked chibi style or whatever you call it and had way less detail and definition, especially in his face, which is a favorite area I've improved in. I've always been sure to draw him wide and round as he should be but I draw him much bigger and chonkier now and I love it lol 💜 too embarrassed to show the old stuff unless I do a redraw maybe for comparison

I drew a ton of comics and random ideas I liked and found funny all the time back then before I started posting them as hcs. I still had the same humor of weird shit, gay stuff, dark stuff and weird ships XD don't like the art but still love a bunch of the concepts so I'm keeping them to possibly redraw

#ok so theres a bus that goes directly from my house to my college right #HOWEVER the earliest it goes is at 9:30 am like. babygirl all my classes start at 8 or 9 am no one can fucking use that #the only other bus that goes through my neighborhood goes to the train station which is like 15 minutes walking distance from the college #so id have to take that one and either walk or if the weather is shitty take another bus for like 5 minutes #AND the first bus that sucks has a convenient little break between 3 and 9 pm #like???? they rly decided the best times to have the bus not going is literal peak hours??? hello???#and on top of that i still haven’t gotten my bus card its not late or anything theyre just taking a very long time to ship it to me #anyways. the joys of canadian public transport in the suburbs ig #quarterlies
