I follow @beanghostprincess who posts about sanuso all the time, which gave me the idea of going through the color spreads to collect all the moments where the boys are together as a fun little project. This led to me finding a HUGE collection of art from the color walks I'd never seen before, so this little project became an hours-long rabbit hole, and I found some extra sanuso on the way. i just rlly liked this chapter with zoro figuring out pika's plan was to go after the king riku instead of fighting zoro, and therefore usopp and the others with him on the plateau were in danger.

so he formed not 1, not 2, but 5 plans in the span of few seconds (tbh rlly easy plans that he disregarded) and ofc chose the most unhinged one - to be chucked through the air at the pika guy and slice through him with his haki infused swords!

(i feel, zoro being so used to traveling beside luffy, and being thrown and pulled to places as luffy wished, he wouldn't even question the safety of this maneuver, more likely he already knew how to fly through the air precisely because luffy did that so often with him and his crew aksjds)

all the while doing some of his new attacks calculation and math! which was rlly cool to read, post timeskip there still wasnt much of his new skills shown off! so, finally!!

and managing to save usopp and the others! (with a little help)

and then kept thinking back to his training with mihawk about the advice of using haki on his swords. after successfully slashed through pika, he was dangling from the plateau wall, being so proud none of the swords got any nicks or scratches, meaning he did a good job with infusing them with his haki! (it was great to see some small flashes of his mihawk training! hope there will be more in other chapters)

and then the usopp hug!!! it was so sweet!

zoro cares so much for everyone on his crew, and usopp was happy to be saved by zoro but even more that he survived and they got to reunite (and prepare for the next leg of the fights around)
