So this took Twitter by storm today and crossposting this here because it really pisses me off.

I've read plenty of fics that mid way through I went 'mm, nope, not for me' & stopped reading it for one thing or another. Marvelous concept that. Never once did I think about leaving negativity over petty issues because others DO enjoy reading it. The person put countless hours of labor into the story and shared it online FOR FREE. Reading it is optionary. If people want true criticism, they will specify.

I don't understand the need to judge something someone put out into the world purely for sake of creativity & nothing more. Many people, myself included, use writing as an escape. Being a toxic twit over not liking it and wanting to bully someone into feeling awful so they never share their work again is beyond hateful. We got enough of that in the real world, no thanks.

i know there’s some discourse about whether or not tfw should leave the bunker, and some discourse about whether they should quit hunting, but please consider:

- dean and cas build themselves a cozy little house near the bunker and move in with jack and miracle

- sam and eileen build themselves a cozy little house near the bunker and move in together

- they end up building other houses (the fact that these houses seem to show up out of nowhere and that jack says his dream job is now to be an architect are completely unrelated of course) around the bunker until it basically turns into a small town

- it basically becomes a refuge for any hunters or peaceful supernatural creatures who want to live together as a community without having to hide

- as for the bunker, it becomes a school

- for hunter’s kids who’ll get to chose if they want to work with the supernatural one day; for supernatural kids who want to learn to control their abilities and use them for good; for anyone who needs safety, a home, a family, or just wants to learn about the supernatural

- sam quits hunting but writes books with all his knowledge about the supernatural, and becomes a witch with rowena’s help

- eileen is still a hunter but mostly stays near the town so she can come home often

- dean and cas quit hunting and live in their house with jack, have a bar in the small hunter’s town where dean spends his evenings, and teach in the bunker during the day

- there’s optionary classes once in a while with sam teaching witchcraft, eileen teaching asl, cas teaching enochian and dean teaching lockpicking

- charlie brings comicbooks and fantasy books she doesn’t need and leaves them in the library for anyone who’d like to read them

- dean makes breakfast everyday and cooks a warm meal for everyone at lunch, and they get takeout for dinner

- there’s always warm food, a comfy bed, a big library and dean and cas’s lectures in the map room for anyone who wants it
