Paul George Sets The Record Straight About His Nike Signature Sneakers

According to Si.com

After more than a year of heavy speculation, Los Angeles Clippers forward Paul George confirmed the end of his signature sneaker line. The news was first reported by Travis Singleton of SneakerReporter.com on Sunday night.

George told the outlet that his signature footwear and apparel deal with Nike ended after the sixth model. However, the silver lining is that George is remaining with Nike, and the brand is planning to issue retro releases of his earlier basketball shoes.

George signed with Nike before his rookie season in 2010, and his signature line launched in 2017. During its run, the Nike PG line was a hit with players and fans thanks to its combination of quality technology and fun colorways at an affordable price.

Fans and industry experts began to assume George's line ended when the 8x NBA All-Star began wearing shoes from the Nike Kobe line in November 2022. The timing coincided with Nike launching signature sneakers lines for Memphis Grizzlies guard Ja Morant and Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker.
