updated Cherry design sheet!! i have been doing a lot of portfolio research to revamp all my work and this is a part of it!! lots of figuring out how to lay portfolio pages out nicely

here is his old design for ref!! the colour changes is bc they r targeting different end products! New cherry sheet is more looking at games/animation while his old sheet was focused on a riso style/limited colour palette comic!

Today i was going through mental and physical withdrawal from not taking my anti anxiety meds for a few days. I was ticking and panicking all day. But the one thing that kept me stable was binging wwdits. So... @piierrote , thank you for the recommendation, king (this is eli btw lmao).

I'm gonna draw my faves tomorrow, as a thank you for them, for keeping me less stressed.

A mini comic discussing the medicalisation of trans bodies for an Anthology under the theme 'Them'

Page 1/2: The transgender is seen as a body with no soul, a set of organs, skin, bones, blood, DNA, hormones, chemistry. The transgender experience is one narrowly percieved through medical procedures, the transgender body is victimised, the perpetrator being its own soul.

The transgender body is not seen as joyful, loving, complex. To do that would expose the human being that is the transgender body. The transgender body is loved only when separated from its transness. The transgender body is to be saved. The transgender person is to be damned. The transgender body is not a body at all. The transgender body is a concept. It has no existence beyong the medicalisation it experiences. It has no autonomy. It has no choices.

Page 3: Add a soul back to the transgender body and you will see joy. Add a soul back to the transgender body and you will see love. You will see community. You will see the transgender experience through access to medical care and through liberation within the community.

You will see transgender freedom, transgender life. To be trans is to partake in the divine act of creation. The transgender body is a real person.
