Quackity is giving some updates about QSMP structural changes:

- He has been on many calls and reading comments, but is still not done.

- People who were in charge some of the financial and administrative wrong doings were fired.

- The QSMP wouldn't last much longer if I had kept going the way I was doing.

- He is basically restarting the administration almost from zero

- There won't be more individual update accounts for each creator or each language at least for a while

- There won't be any eggs or npcs **TEMPORARILY**

-Creators will be in charge of their own lore and the team is not going to intervene in that anymore

- The competitive level is going to slow down

- The server will be in basic terms

- The server might be re opened but that doesn't mean everything is fixed

IMPORTANT QSMP DISC0RSE PLEASE READ ‼️‼️‼️‼️

Okay, for those who don't know, the last two days (even tho we have been complain for months) have been absolute hell for the Brazilian community, to the point that a lot of us are agreeing to drop the community as a whole, saying we will only watch our favorite Brazilian streams and that's it; we no longer want to interact or be a part of this server

The Brazilian QSMP Twitter community has been complaining about the fact that the Carnaval event, something that's ours and our creators were excited to share with the rest of the world, wouldn't have our creators be a part of it because of the time. We were complaining because we absolutely have the right to, since, as I said before, it's our culture, the most significant event in our country.

Because of that, a lot of international fans, and it hurts to say this, Latino ones, decided to make mass hate xenophobic tweets about us and our creators. Tweets that vary from saying we should be thankful Quackity invited us because no one knew about the Brazilian streamers (when actually the reality is we have about 8 Brazilian streamers as the most-watched streamers in LATAM) to saying Cellbit, Mike, or Pac should kill themselves, and finally, to bringing back the past relationship Cellbit had with his ex-girlfriend.

Because people who had no idea of the story caused a massive hate towards Cellbit and his girlfriend. So his ex-girlfriend used this opportunity to accuse him of a crime and later deleted the tweet, but the damage had already been done.

So international fans decided to use that as a way to be xenophobic towards us, calling us monkeys and many other racist things, plus mass reporting Cellbit to the point where he had to issue a response. I'll leave the English and Spanish translations here because it's something you all need to read, and beware because of the trigger warning.

The point is, we Brazilians are tired of this community. It no longer feels safe for us. It no longer feels fun for us, and it's absolutely ridiculous that a server that was created upon meeting and embracing new cultures would be so hurtful to us. And it hurts us a lot more, seeing as most of the hate is coming from Latinos themselves (especially toxic fans from quackity's community). French people have been the ones to defend us constantly, when our own neighbors have been nothing but racists to us.

I hope Quackity does something about this because we have been complaining for months, but he continues to be quiet about it, doesn't call out his fans, and pretends nothing is happening we will drop out of this server, even cc's commented how exhausting it is for us. This project was supposed to bring people together, but so far, we have been dealing with a lot of xenophobia, and we are tired.

I know this is more of a Twitter problem since everyone here is chill (even tho i have already seen some xenophobia in here), but I just wanted to fill you guys in on the news. And for those who watch Cellbit, we don't know when the next stream will be since he was just forced to talk about his sexuality and abuse. Please shower him with a lot of love and positive messages. For you guys to have any idea, he's trending #1 in Brazil, and even though the entire country used to hate him because of his ex-girlfriend's lies, everyone is apologizing and saying he's an incredible person.

I have a few things to say about Quackity's stream and the QSMP as a whole.

If you haven't watched the stream, please do so here, I refuse to paraphrase and believe it should be watched in its entirety to form your own opinions. [Here is the YouTube link]

First of all; I don't think any of the actions Quackity took were deliberately malicious. I believe, in my opinion, he got swept up in the excitement and hype surrounding this new project, and we all know how easily that can happen. It's so easy to ignore the small things when you are being showered in positivity.

I think the project got far bigger than he thought which opens up everything to a lot of criticism.

But he does not deserve to feel unsafe, nor is it any sort of appropriate to send him death threats under any circumstances. Nor to anyone, that is a line we should not cross.

Please, for the love of everything, remember this is one of the biggest projects he has ever attempted. Balancing management, his real life, and his public figure status must be incredibly stressful, and you can only do that for so long until things start to go unnoticed. Someone spread so thin is bound to crack, and unfortunately, I think that's what happened with the administration. He's an incredibly busy guy, and to expect him to be so hands-on with the project while keeping up with the rest of his life and future prospects is an inhumane task to keep up with.

Yes, I absolutely agree that healthy amounts of criticism are necessary in something as groundbreaking as this. But under no circumstances *ever* does that become something you can threaten another's safety over.

I also agree he should have said something and apologized to the previous admins who were brave enough to share their story. But I also can agree with the fact this might have been better done privately, at least as much as possible, because the moment you get the public involved someone malicious is going to rip their words apart to use in whatever fashion they wish.

But it's hard to be truly objective and honest when every word you ever say online could be misconstrued and twisted to suit another's fancy.

I think that's where most of the issue lies, at least to me. There are systems in place when handled in a law environment to protect those affected. The moment anything goes public, it's free game for someone to use as they wish.

I think in certain situations, getting the public involved in the good fight is a sound decision, for a group of people are louder than one individual. But it can also grow wildly out of control if not handled properly, and for a delicate situation like this, I think it's only drawn the whole situation out to a painful amount.

I dislike the fact that a lot of my passion has disappeared for the server because this server is full of people whose content I enjoyed previously and some I've only now discovered.

But, I still do believe it's possible for us to hold hope. I have to hold onto that because if there truly is a way for this to turn around it can serve as an example it's possible to recover and put your best foot forward.

I think there's been mistakes all around, blown wildly out of proportion, but I do still want to give this place a chance.

Because what an example it could become if solutions can be found that helps all the parties and the fandom affected by this all.

That's all. Again, this is just my opinion, and I want to discuss it if people want to talk about it reasonably.

Please form your own thoughts after watching the stream, and try to keep an open mind. I understand this might drive a lot of people away, but I believe in the heart of what QSMP is.

This server and community are meant to unite people from across the world. Let's give it a chance to continue to do so, eh?

I do not blame the admins for doing what they had to. I'm proud of the brave actions they took facing such a massive community head-on.

I just wish it all could have gone down differently, but we can't change the past, only hope for a better future.

I don't regularly keep up with the qsmp, and yet "a cage for a cage" made me cry real tears. and the reason why is easy: q!Phil's greatest strength and weakness are paradoxically the same thing: his love of Chayanne and Tallulah. Daedalus and Icarus combined, a man who would do anything for his children, who would easily burn down the island if it meant getting them back, and yet a simple ruse was enough to lure him right into the Federation's hands.

I just realized that, ironically, the QSMP hiatus is also a positive thing, many streamers are diversifying their content, gaining more audiences and having more time to do other things. Fit and Philza have diversified the content, Tubbo has surpassed personal records, Foolish has had many moments of socialization in real life, in addition to games, Bagi has taken care of her health, Mike has improved his studies, etc, many have been invited to events, received new brand proposals, etc. I just watched Cellbit's live and he talked a little about his work, his current projects (personal ones), including those who want to see it, can go and see the end of the most recent VOD, he asked them not to clip it so as not to take away context on social media, but said he will leave it on VOD for people to watch. In short, he said that he will soon make shorter lives, sometimes there will still be some long ones, but he will make them short because he is working on 6 personal projects, in this case, the Enigma do Medo game, now he is also reviewing the script for the new HQ, and 4 more projects that he prefers not to give spoilers to. He talked a little about how things work with his team, he said that one of the reasons for the delay is that it is a small team and that they need to keep the environment good, healthy, they cannot push people to their limits, not even him. He mentioned that the beginning of the year was difficult for him, that mentally he was exhausted by all the problems (attacks he received due to the false accusation), but that now he is becoming more productive again. There was a lot more talk, but I'm going to let people watch the VOD.

I think it's good that they are busy with other things, because if the server is really going to continue, and according to Quackity's statement that is the plan, then players can come back with a more active, creative mind to create new content. Breaks are important, and I hope that the ADM's can take their breaks too.

people on twitter are talking about the bias in the museum and I'm really glad! I can mainly speak about tubbo art but there is always so little of it even when he died we got one drawing and it was just creation with sunny and had nothing to do with his death. There is so much art for people like etoiles and philza but so little for others such as tubbo or just bagi and not ship art. There's also the fact that there are certain artists who pop up constantly, I can think of one specifically that has popped up in the museum multiple times and in at least two of the three movie nights. between the bias towards certain creators and shipping, there is very little to do with others' lore which helps perpetuate that they don't have any. Hell, I don't even think there was any about fred's funeral. It's sad to watch tubbo zoom through the museum and not really be able to say much because he knows nothing and it doesn't have to do with him.

all in all, i think a good fix I what others suggested which is having each egg admin submit art for the museum of their parents to help get I wider range. Also no hate to the ccs or admin behind the museum, it's just disappointing that it looks more like one person's twitter feed in there.

Hey yall, I wanted to expand on @qtubbo’s amazing post earlier. (This is a lot longer than I thought it would be, so sorry pls read anyway)

Tubbo as Sunny’s parent is so important to me bc of their dynamic. One of my first “thinking of SunnySide” posts was about their neurodivergency and how they mesh well together. As time has gone by it shows even more.

Often times they play off each others energies. Which yes, isn’t always great when it’s negative, cause that can cause a mutual emotion crash, but playing off energy is not always matching energy.

Tubbo also accommodates for Sunny so much. While the situation with Lenay is unfortunate in reality, he gives her a coping mechanism she can understand and runs with it. He embraces Moon with no questions asked. He makes time for her interest (hyperfixation or other) and stims and coping.

Sunny is equally accommodating. Learning about his interests (hyperfixation or other) and understanding how to make space for herself in his technological world. Also always providing pronunciations and time for him to read signs, leaving more wordy signs for their family to deal with.

Overall, yes, a lot of the time when you are so much like a person you don’t know how to solve every problem, but you can make a hell of a welcoming place for them. And when you know how to accommodate, you do.

Also, while RP is meant to be separated from IRL, it is almost impossible to do that fully. People’s own life experiences impact their RP. This in my opinion is seen very strongly in Tubbo and Bad (very different sides of spectrum).

Anyways, thanks for listening to the rambling of a neurodivergent and queer edu major who spends way too much time thinking about accommodation and RP separately (and together). <3

a post for appreciating inclusivity on QSMP:

i love that quackity started out with the intention to make an inclusive space for people from different cultures/languages to interact

and so it attracted people who are accepting, not only of various cultures, but various identities

so now as more and more people get involved, the more representation viewers have! not only in culture or language, but sexualities, neurodivergence, disabilities, etc!

I could ramble about the family structure alone for hours. Tallulah being raised by her abuelo. BBH adopting Pomme, while being a single father for Dapper. The favela five. Jaiden and Roier. I’ve seen SO many people talk about seeing the various family dynamics being representative of their own. Even one of the islanders, Forever, connecting with Tallulah because of his IRL father. It holds a special place in my heart seeing the acceptance and “it takes a village” mentality.

also for characters themselves: the fact that there is a character like, for example, tallulah who is a mexican girl raised in complex family situation that wears hearing aids, has asthma, etc makes me so happy!!

And there are SO MANY characters with complex identities! And the cc’s don’t shy away from representing characters with different traits than their own!

Seeing everyone embrace and celebrate their differences makes me so happy! 🥺

maybe a hot take but as a Brazilian it feels to me that a LOT of people (especially the english speaking part) on the qsmp fandom only care about the english native speakers streamers AND manages to take the "spotlight" (not the right words) of the other characters

Like tazercraft got their big lore friday and like even if people talked and saw the stream, many people still dont care about , I saw people making it about q!Foolish and its kinda? Like bro you guys are saying that "we just want a villain arc of someone" or "traitor arc when" but when a characther do something similar or just like that you guys treat them like "oh no they didnt mean It🥺" or acting like they are angels (no attack to any streamer okay)

Im saying that because people that are trying to victimize q!foolish are the same than wants characters taking bad or ambiguous actions, no hate to any streamer or anynone in particular but like wow it was TAZERCRAFT lore and instead of seeing the qsmp fandom (english speaking side mostly) talking about them, about how it afected them, their new and old traumas, I saw MANY acting like q!Foolish is a baby that cant do ANYTHING that can be wrong or just very ambiguous on that part 🫣 (and also guys even if all of them, q!pac, q!Mike and q!Foolish, are all victims, q!Foolish is not a silly little angel that didnt do anything wrong)

Also, with the french streamers, and even the spanish speakers ones I kinda see it, because, for me atleast, a lot of people only care about one or two streamers and like we already got the language and culture barriers (already makes things very difficult) and in addition the fandom Just dont care about streamers that are not considered as "bigs", and will only care when its related to their streamers

Felps, tazercraft, the french speakers ones, fit and maximus like, their lore is so good and people usually dont talk about It? Well that's one theory confirmed!(I used inspect element)

I wonder which other languages we're getting! I think more Asian countries like Japan(because of the flag) and south korea(flowers from day one and cipher from day 2). The cipher from day three translates to sleep or bunny. I can't figure out what they mean on their own so here are some facts

The rabbit is one of the national animals of morraco

Rabbits are native to north-western Africa, Spain and Portugal

-"sleeping bunnies" is a famous nursery rhyme

The islanders that aren't active are "sleeping"

Before the server gets back on and the reset is complete the island technically are "sleeping"(unless-)

One thing I want to warn, especially to the Patitos´´, I know the situation is bad, but harassing the CCs and demanding that they defend Quackity, or even calling them bad friends for not speaking out, saying that they only have a career because of the QSMP is exceeding the limit of common sense. Firstly because Quackity never went public to defend his QSMP friends when each one was attacked by the community, which happened many times, it happened with Cellbit, it happened with Baghera, Antoine, Tubbo, Bagi, and from what I saw on Twitter even with Mike and his wife, and Quackity never came out to ``control'' these fans, so stop demanding that others speak out as if they had an obligation. Not even Quackity had an obligation to speak out, so why do they need to? Furthermore, saying that the QSMP saved their careers, that they were not famous, is exceeding the limit of respect. Philza is known for his series of Mine,Fit, Tubbo, Bad, Foolish,Tina,Roier,Missa, Rubius,Jaiden,etc. Brazilians and French people have always been numerous in their own countries, and there are people who already knew some of them in other regions of the world, the QSMP may have even opened doors, but they weren't in need, or anything like that. So no, they are not obligated to consider Quackity as a savior. I'm sorry to bring this confusion to you, but I think the topic is valid,If they made that kind of comment there, it's easy for them to do it here, so that you don't make things worse by starting a fight with ALL the communities, because I would also like the QSMP to be saved, but this type of comment already makes anyone wish that everything would go away, explode. A lot of lack of respect towards all streamers.
