A while back I was commissioned to draw some emotes for twitch and popups for on stream alerts (such as follows). Guess I out to upload them officially here too. Wanna see what else someone paid me to draw?
I still need a drink after bringing that into creation.

Howdy Fellas! This was my entry into Nuclear Sharkhead’s Hybrid Champion Art Contest - if you’re seeing this post, then that means the deadline for entry (September 1st) has passed. Boy Howdy do I love Queue’n posts.
This was super fun to work on! Some additional thoughts as to this champ’s kit:
Summer Staff basically feels a lot like Evie’s staff, but the projectiles themselves should also feel like a fusion between the three characters different styles of blast shots.
Seedling Flask has got to be the worst combination possible between Willo’s seedlings and Pip’s catalyst.
Spore Potion is a cross between the cauterize debuff from Willo’s Dead Zone, and Pips Healing Flask. So basically, it applies a debuff to enemies AND a buff to teammates.
Weightless Soar has the name because you fly like Evie but can still shoot like Pip.
Mojo Storm is my favorite because while the “storm” itself functions much like Evie’s you are being attacked by a flock of very, VERY angry fluffy chickens. Pink fluffy chickens. If you’ve played Legend of Zelda this might dredge up some memories for you.
Aaaand, those are my notes! Some early sketches + an early concept sketch under the cut for those interested!

A short comic! Shoutout to @mandarin-dantekristale for providing the Russian translations I needed! I wanted to draw Strix with the braid I’ve been seeing @ratonhnhake1ton draw him with.

Somebody on twitter mentioned “BATH BOMB KING” so I had to do it. Behold our glorious, glittery ruler.
EDIT: Uploaded a lineless version of this piece. Check it out!

Drew some Seris/Ash for an art contest over on youtube! I ended up not winning, but definitely check out who did!
Some story time though: this is actually a scene I was plotting in a short comic I’ll be posting later that is also, in fact, Seris/Ash. Don’t expect it soon, but do expect the sketches to go up on my sideblog @queezleposts first! I decided to illustrate this one bit for the contest. Hope y’all like!

I thought it would be fun to make up some skin concepts for champions based on what they might have been like in their own past; speculative lore based skins, basically. For this Torvald, I tried to capture him at a point in his life when he’s more middle aged. I figure I should share the card art that I used for inspiration with this specific design:
I knew when I started off with this design that I wanted to give Torvald a “prototype” version of his stone gauntlet. In the card art, you often see the other elven academic types wearing rune conductors that are leather gloves, arm bands, and in a few cases you see armored fists that look more like something a knight would wear. However, it was the card art for Infusion that really caught my eye; I just thought it would look cool, and tested out translating the design on his stone gauntlet into something more along the lines of tattoo work. My thinking was that the abilities the gauntlet could do would be shown instead through the energy siphoned as shown in the card arts for rune torrent and glyph of siphoning. Perhaps this method was unstable and harder to control, which led Torvald down the path he took to create a gauntlet out of stone instead.
In terms of clothing, I decided to give him a costume more in line with what is worn in the card art for vital grasp, as I noticed both were carrying packs filled with scrolls and hoods. I changed Torvald’s to look more like a cloak worn for travelling and changed his clothing as well to appear more like something one would wear on long journeys. I also used Induction for clothing ideas. For the most part I didn’t stray too far from Torvald’s original clothing design, but I did try to branch out where I could.
The colors I chose for the flats are just me spitballing; I went with a light blonde for his hair as a guess, and kind of went from there. Decided to include my lineart on its own for comparisons sake! What do you guys think Torvald’s original hair color was?
