“i bet he never treated you like this, huh?” roman asked me as he gave me a kiss and quickly turned away to talk to his cousins jey and jimmy.

i mentally sighed as i thought back to how i got in this predicament to start with.

randy and i had just broken up and i was drinking my feelings away at the hotel bar, that’s when i noticed the tribal chief, one thing led to another and i was laying naked with him. now we just go on dates and calls me his girlfriend to look good.

and to answer his question, randy never treated me like this, he treated me way fucking better.

randy and i dated for 4 years and roman and i have been dating for 6 months now.

i heard cheering from the room and everyone turned to see randy orton walking in the door with a brand new suit on.

i felt myself gawking at the way he looked in the suit, the way it hugged his muscles perfectly and how they showed his crotch off an appropriate amount but just enough to make me miss his cock. as if i didn’t already.

i heard a snicker and looked up to see randy watching me, i couldn’t fight the small smile that painted my face at the fact he was acknowledging me.

“can’t believe you replaced me with the tribal chief” he commented walking over to me while smirking and i rolled my eyes playfully when he sat down next to me, everyone had left the room to watch roman’s match so it was me and randy alone.

“you know you’ll always be my number one randy” i told the man who was staring at me with a smirk but his eyes were full of love and adoration.

“damn right, and you’ll always be my number one too” randy told me making me smile at him, he was nervous telling me this.

randy orton had always been nervous around me, my one power.

neither of us addressed the multiple elephants in the room.

me having a boyfriend already, getting back together, or the fact his hand had traveled to my thigh.

the sparks that flew through my leg to my stomach through his touch was a feeling i missed and i closed my eyes and smiled into the feeling.

“i love you” randy clearly stated and i stared at him surprised, he addressed an elephant.

“i love you too randy, i want to be with you but it’ll just be the same, and i’m dating roman” i explained and randy shook his head at me making me confused.

“it’ll be the same at the fact we are extremely in love with each other and we’ll be the power couple of the sports entertainment business and don’t act as if you don’t hold back screaming my name while roman fucks you” randy whispered the last part but the rest was clear as day to me, after explaining the butterflies i always got in my stomach returned for the first time in a year.

“it’ll be the same in the way we’ll have no time” i told him firmly, as much as i wanted to fall back into his arms and for him to hold me forever, our work would get in the way again.

“i’ll be waiting for you, till my dying day” randy stated before placing his hand on my cheek making me fully face him before he planted a soft kiss on my lips, the same lips that kissed me after i won all my championships, the same lips that kissed me as i cried and after i cried, the same lips that would wait for us.

summary - y/n and randy are in a tag team match and realize they’re in love with each other at different points during the match

warnings - fighting, blood, reader being nervous asf

randy smirked at me as he sat on the middle rope and held the top one high so i could fit into the ring comfortably, i nodded at him as a thank you before we turned to becky lynch and seth rollins in front of us.

randy and i were about to face the two of them in a tag team match.

randy didn’t come through to the ring as he stood at the corner and seth did the same so it was becky and i in the ring.

the bell rang and we straight away began to attack each other trying to get ahead of the other but nothing i was doing was working. i began to get frustrated and separated from her and ran toward the ropes to preform a close line.

it was successful and i smirked as i threw my hands up as becky laid on the mat in pain and i looked to randy who was clapping and smirking at me.

i turned back down to put my attention on becky and crouched down and put her in a sleeper hold and she let out yells while trying not to tap, she then began to use her strength to peel my arms off her which was successful.

she then kicked me and i doubled over and she kicked me again in the face now making me collapse.

as she turned round to the crowd to boast i crawled over to randy and managed to successfully tag randy in, he smirked before making sure i got through okay before turning to becky.

she managed to run over and tag seth in as he stepped through the ropes and him and randy got ready.

they began to fight and they were both bleeding eventually, i was eager for randy to take me back in but he was on the mat floor bleeding.

i noticed becky moving out the corner of my eye and managed to react quickly and jumped down from the ring to punch her while she ran at me full force, she laid on the ground holding her face and i turned back to the mat to see randy was closer to me bleeding now.

i climbed through and rko’d seth before he could do anything to randy, with both becky and seth laying on the ground in pain i rushed back to randy and held his head in my hands.

he winced but looked back up at me and his eyes widened slightly as i looked down at him concern evident all over my face.

“are you alright” i asked him over all the noise and he managed to nod and i dragged him to the edge of the ring before climbing over the ropes and tagging myself in, randy then rolled out the ring and i approached seth who was on his hands and knees.

i smirked at the sight in front of me before looking at the crowd who we were screaming as they realized what i was doing.

i ran toward seth and preformed the stomp on him making him flop back onto the mat.

after we went back and forth for a while all 4 of us randy managed to pin seth for 3 and i cheered loudly before running into the ring and i attacked randy with a hug.

he smirked down at me while holding his rib and he lifted me up with his one arm and i laughed in the air and looked down at him, he was smiling up at me now.

was he always this hot?

randy then put me down and grabbed my hand intertwining our fingers before we lifted our arms up in victory, the feeling of our hands being linked made me feel all jittery and nervous.

i looked over at randy and as i stared at his side profile everything seemed to move in slow motion, the way the crowd got quiet and slow, the way his smile slowly grew, why was i feeling this way toward him?

suddenly the world fell back to normal speed when randy dropped our arms but didn’t let go of my hand, as we walked up the ramp i tried to ignore how i was feeling nervous around randy by waving at fans and blowing becky a kiss to which she scowled at.

we made it backstage and randy hugged me again while laughing and i felt my body temperature rise rapidly as my stomach flipped in itself multiple times.

i wrapped my arms around his shoulders and we pulled away again.

“you were amazing!” he told me smiling down at me, the way he was actually smiling and not doing that stupid cocky smirk of his made me fully realize something.

i’m in love with this guy.

“thank you, as were you” i told him and he seemed to get nervous slightly before throwing an arm over my shoulder as we started to walk back to the locker room.

he dropped me off at the door of mine but before i opened the door i looked back at him and we were looking at each other waiting for the other to do something about what had just happened in the ring.

“would you like to go out to dinner sometime?” i asked him quickly and his eyes widened but he quickly nodded and smiled at me, this was not the randy orton i knew,

but i was willing to try it out.
