I’m having a lot of fun with packaging and paper toys, I think it’s a very nice way to tell stories thru pictures :) This one, of course, is inspired by the Val de loire castles, mainly by Azay le rideau Castle and the Chenonceau Castle with their lovely lake reflections :)

Innerhalb von 12 Monaten wurde in den Jahren 1582/83 der Ansitz Neumelans in Sand in Taufers errichtet. Bauherr dieses Ansitzes war Hans Fieger, der Gerichtsherr von Taufers - und so war der Ansitz auch als Gerichtshaus konzipiert. Erbaut wurde er nach den strengen Proportionsregeln der Renaissance: Es entstand ein stattlich hoher Bau mit unten viereckigen, oben runden Ecktürmen, geometrischen Fensterreihen mit 1584 als Inschrift, sowie Getäfel und Felderdecken in den Zimmern. Was probably founded by the Prague bishop Tobias of Benešov around 1294, following the typical design of French fortresses with cylindrical towers, a fortified watchtower, four gates, and a drawbridge. In 1327, Konopiště became property of the Sternberg house for 275 years. In the 17th through 19th century, the castle passed from one important aristocratic house to another.
