Terrance’s Free Company searches for the slavers raiding the Northern Marches between Blackmoor and the Dragon Hills  (Walter Moore, from Dave Arneson’s D&D module “Garbage Pits of Depair, Part 1: The Slave Raiders” in Different Worlds 42, Chaosium, May/June 1986)  Tying this adventure further to the Blackmoor setting, the slavers are dealing with agents from the Temple of the Frog.  Arneson describes the party’s thief as a “hobbit,” ignoring TSR’s use of “halfling” after legal demands from the Tolkien estate.  The mounted knight wears the motto “Veni Vidi Fugi,” probably intended to mean “I came, I saw, I fled;” he appears in Part 2 with a sword declaring he values words over deeds.

D&D Character: Sir Ebon Dragomir
And now, for my new D&D Character that I will actually be playing as--no, he’s not Sans Undertale, this is Sir Ebon Dragomir, an honorable knight and soldier from centuries past, who was summoned by a necromancer intending to have him lead his armies of undead in a bloody conquest...only to be immediately cleaved in twain. With no other goal in mind, Ebon is now wandering, trying to find purpose in his unlife.
