I'm huge fan of Tokyo Movie Shinsha's work here in the West; Galaxy High, Little Nemo, Batman, you name it. Cybersix is certainly no exception. While I've never actually read the comics that the short-lived animated series was based on, I fell in love with it at first sight. (And sound.) No joke; the opening theme has been stuck in my head for months now. I just had to pay tribute to such a beautiful song and a wonderfully animated masterpiece.
It is indeed a pleasure to share my most recent work with you all. Here is an 8-bit arrangement of 'Deep In My Heart', perhaps what it would have sounded like having utilized Konami's VRC6 mapper. I couldn't be more happy with the results.
Many thanks, kudos, and credit to Robert Olivier, Robbi Finkel, and Coral Egan for their work on the original song.

Song List 0430 - Hype: The Time Quest - The Flight of the Dragon; 0431 - Dragonheart - To the Stars; 0432 - Skyrim - Far Horizons
Today’s the follow up to the latest post about dragons (SL 0427), in which I shall add the other two, being ...
Tumblr media
... Zatila from Hype: The Time Quest (1999) and ...
Tumblr media
... Draco from Dragonheart (1996), which involve one of my favourite scenes :)
Tumblr media
“Rycerz musi być mężny Jego serce przepełnia odwaga Broni swym orężem bezbronnych Swą mocą wspiera słabych Mówi tylko prawdę Swój gniew kieruje przeciw łotrom”
“A knight is sworn to valor His heart knows only virtue His blade defends the helpless His might upholds the weak His word speaks only truth His wrath undoes the wicked“
And while we’re at this specific topic I may share some secret too - I confess to finally slaying that first dragon in Skyrim. I never got past it before, patiently doing side quests and leveling mostly in two-handed heavy armor, and now that I did... I feel just terrible.
Maybe next time I will be feeling better!

the track “Ball” of the soundtrack  of the anime Berserk (1997) by Susumu Hirasawa has a similar sound to the track “Castle” of the soundtrack of the video game Hype: The Time Quest (1999) by Robbi Finkel
my bet is that they are problably inspire by the same historical piece of music or genre, problably something with court/royalty conotation
if anyone as any idea of the possible inspiration i’m curious to know
Hype: The Time Quest - “Castle” :
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yxqu6F9GxYU
Berserk- “Ball” :
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rOhOezQfsm4
ps: reading the comment under those video it seems those track sound like generic castle videogame music from the 90s
pps: might just be pompous synth psedo baroque but if can pinpoint something precise i’m interested

I couldn't disagree more with Baer and Finkel’s point of view. Seriously, everything they said about S4 and 5 being about who those characters really are as individuals probably only worked for Winston, the rest of them were actually lost in the process. Schmidt became less interesting, Cece lost any story line with depth, Nick became the dumb guy (the dumb guy into Reagan on S5), Jess became the desperate person that needs to be in a relationship to live. Also, everything they said about how Robby and Jess could’ve end up together and how they see the Nick and Jess thing. Cmon. This interview almost makes me wish there’s no season 7 because if these two are going to be the heads of it since Liz will be busy with her new show, this makes me really scared. These two couldn’t understand the characters less. I blame them for everything that went wrong on this show. When you read this interview it becomes clear that a lot of the bad stuff came from them.

Koko B. Ware On How Taking The First Tombstone Piledriver From The Undertaker Was A Botch
New Post has been published on https://latestnews2018.com/koko-b-ware-on-how-taking-the-first-tombstone-piledriver-from-the-undertaker-was-a-botch/
Koko B. Ware On How Taking The First Tombstone Piledriver From The Undertaker Was A Botch
WWE Hall of Famer Koko B. Ware was the latest guest on Why it Ended with Robbie E. Koko talked about his run in the WWE, and how he received a phone call from Howard Finkel, and did not think it was real. Finkel then gave him the phone number and advised Koko to call him back, which he did.
Koko then stated that he was the first person to receive the Tombstone piledriver from The Undertaker, but unfortunately, it was improperly executed.
“I love Mark to death, and I’m still proud of The Undertaker today,” said Koko. “He really, really has [taken] his gimmick a long, long way. But Mark was, you know. I was the first one to take the tombstone, but he was a little excited because that was his first time doing it, and I almost kind of cracked my neck a little bit doing it. And I heard all kind of little cracks and stuff like that.
“But I knew Mark was trying to get over… I got dropped on my head, to be honest with you. Yes. But thank God for working out, it kind of helps you. Now, if I had a weak head or something like that, I probably would have broke my neck big time. I was the first one that he used it on. [We didn’t practice], he just said hey. They wanted him [to do it]. It was kind of like a piledriver, but he just had my head between his legs too far that you could see my head, and if he would have had my head between the fat part of his thighs, then it wouldn’t have hurt.”
Koko added that it was a brand new move for Undertaker at Survivor Series, but he just wanted to put Undertaker over and “make him feel like a million dollars.” In addition, the fact that Undertaker jumped when he did the tombstone made the impact worse.
Koko stated that he wishes that he would have been told about the spot beforehand, because he would have made the spot look better. He added that both of them were in the arena long enough to go over the move, but it never happened.

Song List 0360 - The Road to El Dorado - Cortez Theme; 0361 - Hype: The Time Quest - Boss Soundtrack (Granslak)
Tumblr media
The Road to El Dorado (2000)
As far as I can hear, the main difference in between these two tracks lays in their tempo (plus additional instruments, of course). Besides associating the theme with every possible boss fight in Hype (like the Black Knight, duh :) gave me a very clear idea about Cortez character.

I hope this is the series finale. I want Nick and Jess happy. I'm tired of the will they won't they thing, Baer and Finkel have never listen to their audience. Jess and Robbie were disgusting. What the hell???
I want them happy too but I think we desperately need a season 7. I don't wanna look back and remember the last season of the show was the one with a lot of Reagan in it, with Robby as a pointless love interest, with Nick being an oblivious needy asshole (I know, it's not intentional, but the writing made it feel this way), and with Jess sad all season. Seriously, I don't want this, no matter how great the finale is! But also, Baer and Finkel scare me because I don't trust them at all. I don't want them to ruin what this season finale is going to give us, because from everything I've heard I'm sure it's going to be amazing. They can't ruin it!
