Anyone else notice how quickly Ruby is able to just shut off her emotions in the last episode? Like the Ever After was responding to her being sad by having it rain on them but as soon as she heard the guard say "someone's sad over there" she took a breath and then the rain stopped and she immediately asked Blake about where to go next. Being able to do that is a trauma response. Homegirl has been stewing on a mental breakdown for like three seasons and she's still trying to shove her emotions down because she doesn't feel she has time for it. She doesn't have time to cry or grieve. That mental breakdown has gotta be coming this season and honestly it is long overdue for her.
