Fun fact! The blue eye is the only part of his form Minato can control and he’s constantly looking at Ryoji! 🥲🥲🥲🥲

How do the other phantom thieves react to Minato and Ryoji's relationship?

They're fine with it? Ren refers to both as his cousins and has called them each other's partner/significant other before. So there's no surprise, first off.

Second, Break Away From Limitations takes place in 2016/2017. I also headcanon none of the Phantom Thieves as straight. They are just a normal couple to them. That's all.

My main persona AUS but literally no one asked

Strega/SEES roleswap AU

This one is a fairly new one I literally just made it up a few days ago but I already thought of alot for it.

Basically what it says on the box: it's persona 3 but strega are the 'good guys' and SEES were the ones who were experimented on.

In this AU, Itsukui took Minato, Hamuko, Junpei and Yukari to be tested on but only 3 of them escaped. The twins still do have Death inside them, thus why Itsukui was so interested in them. He still hasn't given up on searching for the escaped twin, as he knows they're of importance for Nyx to rise...

Strega, on the other hand, were adopted by Itsukui after he realised that the kids he tested on weren't going to become his willing servants so easily. He searched for kids he knew he had the potential so they can aid him in his plan. And who knew that you didn't have to force kids to awaken and just wait it out, absolute shocker! Strega is completely devoted to their father at first as the year progresses they start questioning everything they were raised to believe...

3rd Semester AU

This AU explores how SEES were effected by Marukis reality, but it mainly focuses on two people..

What happens when Junpei wakes up on New Year's Day and sees that his wife is talking to his old best friend, who shouldn't even exist?

The story only gets werider when he reunites with their old leader and his other best friend who has been dead for 7 years.. Everyone is acting like everything is normal, except for Junpei and he just can't let it go.. After everything that happened, only for it to not matter...

Maybe with the help of a younger persona user who fills him in with everything that he's missed over the past year, he can try and sense of all this.. and maybe for the younger persona user it would be helpful to have an older ally...

Arcana/RoleSwap AU

Obvious title, it's an arcanaswap but I'm still not sure if every character is getting arcanaswapped or if it's just certain characters?

There are 2 versions of this AU to exist:

1. The one where Aigis and Ryoji swap

2. The one where Aigis and Ryoji are the protags

Let's start with the first one. In this version Aigis is Death and Ryoji (going by PHAROS in this) is the robot. The 'official' version has Hamuko as the main protag but she looks a bit different and is a bit edgy in contrast to her canon counterpart.

Second one has Ryoji and Aigis as the protags taking up mc and femc respectively, so they're both human(not sure if they're related in this AU). So that means Minato and Hamuko take up their old roles but I'm still not sure which one takes which role.

ryomina DILF (dad i'd like to friend)!AU

OK, that's not actually the name of the AU, I haven't actually thought of one yet so I've just been jokingly calling it that. This is the main one I've been thinking about. It has a beginning and an end but it's all blank in the middle.

Once again the title is pretty self-explanatory. It's Persona 5 but Ryoji and Minato are Akiras parnets. Important specification: the gap between p3 and p5 is bigger in this AU so SEES are like in their 40s in P5. Sounds really simple right? Somehow you would be wrong..

Yeahhh... this idea spawned from a completely different thing and somehow devolved into a Royal New Game+ but the first game didn't actually finish (thank a certain false god for that..) and it somehow resolves itself in the end..

Is this AU completely self-indulgent and technically my comfort AU? Yes absolutely.

There's also a LOT of angst and people being edgy, so be warned..

I’m gonna try to not go too crazy explaining the AU, so here’s my attempt at a “condensed” outline of the AU!

So the story of Persona 3 happens normally.. up until Ryoji’s revelation. After Ryoji explains the Fall to SEES and presents them with the option to kill him, Minato is insistent that there has to be another way. Eventually he settles on the idea of removing Ryoji’s status as the harbinger of the Fall, and to do so, make Ryoji human.. the problem is, in this act, Ryoji’s powers would transfer to Minato. Hence the swap part of the AU :)

At first everyone is really hesitant about this, especially Ryoji; he’d much rather put himself at risk than Minato. But he persists and eventually the team agrees to trust him. Ryoji and Minato relentlessly plan to ensure that things go as well as they can. On New Year’s, Ryoji initiates a sort of sharing of powers between the two; since the two exist within each other, I’m really leaning into their out of body connection for this.. if that makes any sense. When the swap happens, Minato disappears, and Ryoji blacks out.

When Ryoji recovers, SEES seeks out Minato in the Dark Hour. Ryoji is distressed that he can no longer sense Minato’s presence and begins to worry that things went terribly wrong. Ryoji is still weak and it’s soon apparent that he’s unable to summon a persona… and being in such danger, as well as being separated from Minato and dealing with a potential massive failure to protect someone so dear to him, he begins an existential crisis. This conflict eventually leads to Ryoji’s awakening, accepting his mortality and strengthening his resolve to fulfill his end of the plan and have faith in Minato… and when Ryoji awakens to his persona, he feels a familiar, comforting presence :)

So tldr, Minato becomes Ryoji’s persona, and the team work to beat Nyx after taking away her little pawn. I have waaaayyy more I could write about the rest of the AU and I even have epilogue stuff planned but I’ve already rambled enough and I mostly just wanted to put these designs out here since I’m super proud of them lol
