The full moon was out which meant that the wolves were on the hunt. Of course Katherine had to mess with the werewolves but it was for her own salvation. She needed the Moonstone to make a deal with Klaus and the only idea she came up with was using Mason to get it. Unfortunately for her the plan didn't work out the way it should have with the Salvatore getting into her business and killed the guy. Now she was on the run from his pack. Katherine was surprised when Larkin invited her in, offering her shelter for the night. “Thank you... For this” she panted, her run from the wolves had exhausted her.

But as a little flame creature instead. I think having a pet that represents her biggest fear but is one of her closest companions would be a great benefit to her. In fact, I'm going to consider this as part of my wish list now :-) - having Shireen create a living, sentient flame familiar to be with her always.

😭: What’s one of the saddest threads you’ve ever been in?

There was indeed one thread so far that actively made my cry. It's the Spartan thread I'm having with Lian (@twistedhxart & @crew-from-capulet). There was/is so much angst involved that I remember one night where I was sitting in front of my pc and couldn't hold it in any longer! 😂

I think I dipped a bit into the feywild on my walk this week 🥰 Apologies for the low activity rn. I have a lot of stuff to do and am also currently visiting my family. So much that I, in fact, missed out on fun traditions in my old village like Wolf's Awakening and Witch Dance around this festive time of the year. I'm hoping I will at least making it to Wolf Burning next week.

Apart from my limited headspace, the Internet connectivity is shit, too. To relax I am mostly reading these days (( ACOWAR, anyone?? My poor heart )) or watching movies with my family bc my sibling is visiting, too. But I am planning on being back soon to work on drafts and inbox things. The queue is running as usual and will squeeze out replies and other stuff.

riding off into the sunset, the hope of a happy ending, the bitter after taste that still in it's own way smells kinda great. your love is all bitter hopefulness, all about a broken heart that refuses to quit, all about the unshakable knowledge that a burning fire has a great comforting warm and a soft glowing light, all about the way when the sun comes down there's a beautiful starry night. it's stubbornness, it's the refusal to give up, the clutching of broken shards despite the searing pain and being adamant that dammit you can still make a beautiful stained glass window out of it. yours is a screaming heart, a pleading love, a bitter and almost belligerent hopefulness that things will still work out even if you have to roll up your sleeves and make them. and god, aren't you tired? isn't your heart heavy? is all your hard work worth it? don't you just want to curl up and let it be? let the fire turn to ashes and the sky turn dark and let love die down and watch people leave? but you don't, do you? you're the bravest out of all of us, so you pick up the pieces and you keep going, you keep believing and you keep your heart full of hope because some day. some day you know you'll get it. you keep riding off into the sunset and you keep filling my heart with hope as you go because god, how do i wish you finally get it too.
