Pretty well! Had to restart it once cause I accidentally put some of the files in the wrong folder but other than that it was smooth sailing!

VIV OH MY GOD speaking of aseprite. it. it almost made me go freaking insane. its a paid software but you can get it for free if you compile it yourself. and lemme tell you. its not that hard. but you have to follow the tutorials to the LETTER. it took me a whole day oh my gosh bc i kept quitting from frustration. the guy from the tutorial i watched was honestly super helpful bc he responded to comments p quickly and i did get it done, and it was freaking worth it its honestly pretty easy to use even w a mouse and the interface is sooooo cute but also like still very intuitive i need to play with it more

sounds fun yooo I might get it in the future cause at current I am still in the process of getting after effects (and if I'm lucky photoshop, I just need my sister to get me through to the proper channels) but when I actually start preparing to get it I will have to ask you for tutorial links aha

OKAY SO admittedly I put a bit too much info on the sheet (the Edelweiss' origin was supposed to be unlockable) but anywayyyss

A while back, before she even heard of a three lives system, she went caving with a couple friends. They found a deep cave, one that fell all the way until bedrock. Their friends wanted to get out, to run, but she kept on going.

She stood close to the bedrock, and soon enough she found a crevice that led to the Void. Their friends stayed away but she dipped a finger into it. It stung for a bit, then she dug back into the Void, dipping almost her entire arm into it. Their friends screamed at them to stop butshe continued, fishing into the Void until she pulled something out.

Now, she carries the shard of bedrock she fished from the Void. A good luck charm? Symbol of protection? Well there's certainly a sense of sentimentality to it, no?

So it's a hc x dsmp thing but it's also pretty reality-changing AU. Idk if that's the best way to describe it but it's a very high-fantasy and there's very little minecraft mechanics but some are still there ( just saying that as a beforehand fyi thingie)

(this is very long and windy and rambly so it's under a readmore .w.)

It (once again) focuses on Scar. EXCEPT unlike the unrevealed hc x dsmp fic his dsmp counterpart will NOT be Quackity, but it'll be either Dream or Foolish (Dream as maybe a rival and Foolish as perhaps an ally, although Quackity does play a good part in this). (If there are any dsmpers with more significant ties to illagers and/or magic please tell me)

I haven't exactly figured out how servers and worlds work in this but the dsmp is some kind of "Locked" world and Hermits are travelling Nomads that create places for the desperate and those on the edges of society

The previous world the Hermits inhabited was attacked by some Otherworldly Force which caused them to split, and the Hermits took shelter in other worlds while still searching for one they can at least temporarily call their own

The dsmp is a locked world patrolled by DXD and the dsmp is an illegal, divine, tax evasion scheme (to put it simply). Lady Death has noticed however she can't really do anything without the other Divines questioning her

Scar stumbles into the dsmp after a failed divination and is bust into a vastly new environment (with the added variable of a good amount of people knowing or at least recognizing you)

Scar is like, this seemingly doof of a man and then you put him in a scenario where he has to fight someone then that's when you see he's uhh; he's a bit more than what you'd think

Dream is an outcast. He is also a powerful sorcerer/necromancer. The thing is, he's only powerful because he has access to the Revive Book; the Vivifica Librum

Foolish, I haven't exactly decided for Foolish, but he has relations to Revival or rather Undying: Defiance of death.

Why is there a lot of death magic involved? This is the dream smp, you have like three lives at best (okay maybe not at best but you get my point) and well, Scar is a magician and wants to know more magic (even those not native to his home)

what is Scar doing? he's waiting for a new Home, and this server is a lot like a game he played a good lot with Grian and some other Hermits a while back but he feels more relaxed for some reason

DXD gets involved at some point, of course he does. He's the patron deity of this server and this newcomer- a HERMIT newcomer no less wants to learn "darker" magic

Okay hang on I'm gonna talk about Quackity for a minute. I know I said he's not directly associated with Scar but Las Nevadas plays a pretty good part in this AU. There's a reason why I call this AU deck of cards, and it's not just cause there's a lot of tarot imagery

uhh that might be all I have at the minute I might write a oneshot tomorrow or a day after tomorrow but who knows. Feel free to ask more questions though I like those

Impulse wakes up and looks around at the borders of his home. They aren't burnt, there are no holes and there are no traps. Vines grow from the overhangs, the fields had ripened for harvest, and he can hear the laughs coming over from the east tower- or rather bunker. Peaceful.

Impulse wakes up and listens to the sounds of his friends' fortress . He can hear the sounds of his friends bickering, the whispers of the soul sand, and the distant, soft crackle of fire. He doesn't know why he feels a little wary, but he brushes the feeling off.

Impulse wakes up and is hit with the smell of meat cooking over fire. He smells the cool air of the north, a distant perfume of flowers, and something metallic to his right. Oh, there's Skizz patting at his shoulder getting him to wake up.

He looks at the skulls in his friend's hands. Coal black, smelling of rot and flame; if not for the fact they were in the Southlands, the smell alone will attract unwanted attention.

He looks to the skull in his own hand. It too, reeks of the rotten, flesh-eating death that happens to obtain just one of these skulls. Really, how much dark marrow was exposed for this one simple goal?

He shakes his head and huffs. It will be worth it, for once it will be.

The next part, he doesn't remember at all. He only remembers what happened after that.

Chaos. The three-headed monstrosity brought along all and everything they asked for. It melted the snow, bore holes into the ground, tore the fort's tower down and oh so much more.

But then he felt something warm form at the corners of his mouth. It was blood, his blood, it tasted like metal and that there was where he knew he died.

He looked down to his chest, seeing blood clotting his shirt and the tip of an arrowhead poking through his stomach, and he smiled.

He finds himself awake, slouched over a set of shulker boxes beside his lichen store. He rubs his eyes, rolls off the shulker boxes, stands up and dusts himself off. He turns, and standing there is Cub, buying more lichen.

He raises a hand and waves. And Cub does the same. Cub nods, he walks away, and they will never talk about this again. Ever.
