Oh hey Tumblr while I'm here, I finally adopted the cat I've waited for after years and years of struggle, her name is Willow💚

The cat distribution system has finally blessed me and (this is what I meant by this account is old af) I am no longer living in an unsafe household and finally have the financial means to live far away with this sweet baby in my cottagecore little apartment. Life is life-ing, still stressful, still financially and environmentally unstable, but still chugging, and I'm so grateful I made it to this point. It gets better, very slowly, but still progress. Thanks to my fucking amazing amazing amazing AMAZING partner @callmebymyjae, I would not be here if it wasn't for them, they genuinely mean the world to me and with Willow, I finally have my own little found family :'))

[We will ignore that I did not think about the way AG eyes work before deciding how to photograph all of my dolls for these introduction posts.]

Cecile and Marie Grace are already character dolls, two girls living during the Yellow Fever epidemic in New Orleans in 1853. They were the only dolls American Girl released as a pair, so I couldn't make separste posts for them.

Something I can't wait for is making new clothes for them. I am currently studying costuming, and the 1850s and 60s just happen to be my favourite time period in fashion history. Like set a book then just to describe the dresses favourite. Like I dress like that every day favourite. So many more clothes for these girls will follow.

These girls were bought second hand on ebay, shortly before last Christmas (2022), and they arrived with very loose limbs. I fixed Marie Grace, mostly, but I quite hate scooping out their innards, so Cécile will probably stay loose. Queen of sitting down.

Steele: I honestly think that she does have potential, but she ended up underdeveloped and unimportant until the final few chapters. Plus I wish that the fight with her in the roborevolution dlc was well...... better.

Handsome Jack and AI Jack: I used to like Jack's character and thought that he was a good antagonist, but with how much g/earbox love putting his face on everything after borderlands 2, and how Jack simps/rhackies are, I'm starting to hate him even more.

The Calypso Twins: Kinda like with Steele, the Calypso's do have potential, but I think it was ruined with both the writing for them as well as Typhon himself.

Also back when I was new to the fandom, I used to like Troy more than Tyreen, but now I tolerate Tyreen more and starting to hate Troy more for the same reason with Jack, they both have way too many fans.
