HOW TO ATTRACT SEVENTEENNNNNNNN PLEASEEEEE
How To Attract Seventeen
Scoups
He gets attracted to people that are different from the usual beauty standard
So Scoups gets attracted by foreigners per example by people with different beauty features,
Scoups get attracted to people that will pamper him
That compliment him
Like per example he will get easily flustered by people giving him physical compliments
but even more, if you compliment his personality
and just glorify his person
By boosting his ego you can bet that you will attract him
Also being different is all that counts
To get his attention you just have to be different from the other people around
like having your own vibe
your own style
and just try not to fit on the old standards
Wonwoo
Wonwoo, well
He is more attracted to social butterfly people
because he is more on the reserved side
He gets more catches by people that'll come to him
That will motivate and stimulate him
He likes people with strong legs
People that smile bright
That isn't afraid to be judged
For him, both beauty and personality count
so to get him attracted you need to have both in a way
Another way to attract him is by being very open to discussion
So someone on the clever side
that will talk to him and expose their opinions about several topics
Mingyu
He gets attracted to people that are rather on the seductive standard
Also beauty standards like
Other than that, he is more of a visual man
So yeah he gets attracted to physical features first
Smaller than him, beautiful and innocent yet fiery like are his type
Mingyu is also attracted by people that will keep their eyes on him
People who do that eye game with him
that will stimulate his competitive side
so he gets attracted to hard-to-get type of people
since he loves a good challenge anyway
But yeah Mingyu is a physical person first of all
Vernon
Oh well Vernin
physically he gets attracted first by people who have generous chest
he can't help it
People who have motherly vibes as well
So girls that are more on the chubby side
That are always taking care of others more than themselves
who like to control their environment
but who are dependent on him
Vernon likes to provide yet independence
So if the person seems to have their head over their shoulder but needs help, he gets in
He is more of a personality type of guy
So he really gets attracted by people who are family oriented
who have values
and principles in general
and who share the idea of stability as he does
Hoshi
Just like wonwoo he is attracted by social like people
He is attracted by people that are fiery
that have that particular energy
that enjoy going on adventures
that will talk to him and lead him on
He likes strong personalities
If the person has the physical features that go along with the intelligence pack he is all in
Hoshi is attracted by boldness
By sexy outfits
By people that expose their vision of the world
The8
Like most of the boys, The8 is attracted to people slightly older than him
He is also attracted by generous boobies
very pale and dreamy-like faces
like more on the cute type of person
when it comes to the personality
he is attracted by people that seem to have their stability in check
people who have dreams and goals
who are able to be empathetic and care for him
who have that motherly vibe as well
He is rather simple and although physical is a first attraction
The8 prefers to focus on personalities that are valued like
Jun
Jun is also someone that is attracted by extrovert people
He just gets easily seduced by people that talk a lot
that is at the heart of the party
That aren't afraid to show several faces
That are sociable and just with that good humor
always there to motivate and to be ready to do things
To attract him, you just need to invite him around
to keep him stimulated
he also likes slander legs mostly and that curve on the lower back
He is a simple man
but really social people are his preferences and he easily gets attracted to people that are the center of the attention
Dino
He is a little bit like Vernon
meaning that he is more attracted to girls that are older than him
that have that motherly like vibe
chubby side or at least muscular
also has a thing to get attracted by big chest
and round faces
when it comes to personality yeah just like Vernon
people who are family oriented
that have strong values
that have that sensitive side of themselves
and yet are able to be strong and provide for their loved ones
Dino is attracted to that balance
of being able to work for themselves and yet needing someone by their side
Woozi
Physically like he is attracted to people that are sportive
so slim strong bodies, the type that goes to the gym per example
Woozi like also finds different features attractive
so for example freckles, cards, crooked teeth, etc
He gets attracted by people who are fiery
who will actually argue with him
that isn't scared of him
and will fight him head one
Woozi is attracted to people that say what they think
that doesn't hold back
that don't have that soft energy
he is attracted to fiery
to bold personalities
really that type
Jeonghan
oh he is attracted to strong personalities
to people that have huge competitive personalities
that will fight him whenever he says something
he is attracted to feisty people
that will fight and are kinda aggressive
he doesn't like soft people
Jeongan is also attracted to people that aren't in the beauty standards
and more like different
yet still keeping the very athlete like body
since he is attracted to people that do gym, have that lifestyle in general
So yes he is attracted to people that know how to lead
and that are kinda of bossy
Joshua
Physically speaking, Joshua is attracted to people with long hair
with nice taken-care hair
you know the type that spends a lot of money on the hairdresser basically
he is attracted to beauty stands like people mostly
also if you can add a big chest he is all in
Joshua is also attracted to people that know how to act
that are social with others
that smile a lot
That are just nice in general
because honestly one thing that's gets him very attracted to is, generousty
so people that give money to others
that help others without needing to be asked
he really attracted to those acts
and he gets easily attracted to people that think well of the world and tries to help around
DK
Oh this boy is attracted to sunny-like people
you know people that will smile a lot and are always very happy
he likes bright eyes
good sense of humor
DK gets attracted to people that can be a little dramatic
that has a voice of story telling
A little bit like Joshua when it comes to physical features tho
meaning he appreciates people that take care of their hair
he is attracted to long black hair
and people that are beautiful like
a mix of cute and sexy faces
someone that has a nice chest
and are just pretty in their eyes.
Seungkwan
Once again, someone who is attracted by big bobbies
and by people that have that sweet innocent face
And that yet has the motherly vibe
so usually older women who look young
who behave like mothers
who will take care of things around him
he is attracted by strong values and principles as well
attracted by people that take care of him
that care for him
that will cry and be emotional about him
and offer support when he needs the most
personality is more important for him
Seungkwan really is attracted to people that give that sweet image and yet are kind of possessive and mature

“You said that you were going to be able to pick her up from school today… What? What do you mean you’re in the airport?! Where the h- … You can’t just promise her something and then not follow through with it. She’s been looking forward to seeing you all week. Yeah… Yeah okay… Bye.” With an exasperated sigh he hung up his phone, finally looking in your direction as he came up to the classroom door that you were standing outside of. You had heard the entire conversation, something that he was well aware of judging by the sheepish look on his face as he looked at you, but it wasn’t something that you would pry him about. “Sorry about that… And I’m sorry that I have to bring her in so early, I’m just so busy and-” You held up your hand, shaking your head as you looked down at his daughter. You knew who he was and you knew what he did, everyone knew what he did, and that’s one of the main reasons he had to bring his daughter to the classroom early.
“If you need me to keep her after class a little longer that’s fine. We can watch movies and I have a whole cabinet full of snacks and games that we can play too.” You said, hoping to ease his visibly worried mind, and as if your words were a ray of sunshine for him, his all too familiar smile that you had seen all over television screens and on YouTube had spread across his face again. He let out a sigh of relief, placing his daughter’s hand in your own before kneeling down in front of her and pressing a quick kiss against her forehead.
“Be good for Ms. Y/N. Me or one of your uncles will be here to pick you up as soon as we can.” He murmured to her, his tone completely different from the annoyance that had filled it while he was speaking on the phone. “Thank you so much…” He said as he stood back up, his eyes meeting yours for only a second before you both looked away from each other, your eyes averting to anywhere but the others. “I’ll try to be back as soon as I’m finished working. I’m really sorry if this is an inconvenience for you and, please, just let me know if it is. I can try to find a babysitter it’s just really hard and-”
You tsked your tongue, shaking your head once more at his worried ramblings. “It’s quite alright, really. Chohee is wonderful, and… well, I don’t really have anyone to go back home too after work so, I don’t mind at all. Don’t have the guys or yourself rushing over here to pick her up either, I’d rather you or them get here safely than to hear that something awful has happened on your way over. Plus, if she gets hungry, I’m sure I can order something and have it delivered to the classroom, as long as it’s okay with you.”
He nodded quickly, and you could almost see the weight that your words had lifted off his shoulders, his eyes closing as he took a deep breath and let it out slowly. “You’re truly a lifesaver. Thank you so much. I’ll call the school and let them know when myself or one of the guys are on their way. Thank you again, so much.” He smiled at you before quickly lowering his eyes to his daughter who was still looking up at him with what looked like stars in her eyes. “Remember, be a good girl. Next time I’m off I promise you and I will do something super fun together, whatever you’d like. I love you, Chohee, I’ll see you after school.” He kissed the tips of his fingers and pressed them to the top of her head before nodding to you once more and turning to walk away. He was a good father, he was trying his best to make the best out of everything, he was doing his best to give his daughter the best, but you could see how hard it was on him and it made your heart ache to see him so stressed out.
Tumblr media
“What do you mean Hajoon isn’t getting her? She promised that she’d pick Chohee up from school and have her this weekend…” Jeonghan said from across the table, his head tilted in confusion at Seungcheol as he tried to make sense of what had just been told to him. They were going to be shooting a new music video this weekend, it had been set up that way for weeks because Seungcheol had specifically asked weeks in advance to make sure Chohees mother would pick her up and keep her for the weekend. “So now what?”
Seungcheol shook his head, his fingers drumming on the table as he let out a loud sigh. “I don’t know. I don’t even know how I’m going to pick her up from school today. I’m so busy and I’m trying my best to be a good father to Chohee all while being a good leader for the group and it’s just getting more and more difficult.” His arms folded on the table in front of him and he quickly dropped his head down onto them, grunting quietly, unable to fully contain his frsutrations. “I don’t know what I’d do if her teacher didn’t offer to stay after with her every time I needed it.”
Jeonghan narrowed his eyes, more interested than confused now at the sudden mention of Chohees teacher that he had never gotten to meet yet. He hadn’t even heard about you before, and everytime Seungcheol stayed later at work, he had just assumed that his mother had picked up Chohee. “Wait… She’s being watched by her teacher? Isn’t she in preschool? She’s only four… Do you really trust her teacher to look after her that way? Wouldn’t you want your mom to get her instead?” Of course Jeonghan was worried about Chohee, she was basically his niece and he loved her as such. He was there when she was first born, waiting outside of the delivery room to finally meet her and congratulate his best friend on the birth of his first daughter. Since that day, he’s been there for everything, including the trainwreck of a breakup that left Chohee with Seungcheol who was trying to keep himself together while keeping everything else in his life together at the same time. It was the lowest any of the members had ever seen him and none of them wanted to see him that low ever again.
“At this point, I trust Chohees teacher more than her own mother.” Seungcheol stated matter of factly, pushing himself away from the table and standing up. “I can’t just keep handing her off to my mother every time Hajoon changes her mind about being a mother.” He pinched the bridge of his nose in agitation, the smile that is usually worn on his face was completely gone, not a trace of it seen in his features at this point. “I’m sorry, I just need to figure out what I’m going to do this weekend with her… Maybe I can get my mom to help watch her on Saturday and then I’ll get her Sunday…” He trailed off, shaking his head as he turned to walk out of the lunch room, offering a small wave to Jeonghan who was still sitting at the table.
It’s not even that he was just worried about the weekends, he was worried about the summer and what he’d do when he couldn’t take Chohee to school anymore. Thinking that way had him feeling even worse though, like he was the world's worst father because he depended on his daughter's teacher to watch her just so he could go to work. It’s like he had to make a choice between being an idol or being a father and it wasn’t a choice that he ever thought he’d have to make. This wasn’t how he thought his life would go, he didn’t even think he’d have a kid yet, and while he didn’t think of Chohee as a mistake, he knew that she had come too early in his life, and she had come to him from the wrong person, but he couldn’t just give her up.
The way that he had met Hajoon wasn’t one that he’d want to tell his daughter, not until she was much older anyway, and that should have been a sign in itself that the relationship he thought would bloom just wasn’t obtainable. He should have seen the sign, but after a slightly tipsy one night stand and an exchange of numbers and then two months without a single text from her, he had gotten one. He didn’t believe her at first, he didn’t want to believe her because he still had his entire career, his entire life in front of him, but she insisted and he believed her. Throughout the entire pregnancy it seemed like things were going perfectly, he really felt like everything would be fine. Hajoon seemed to have settled down, and for the next six months of the pregnancy, it was like all of his worries flew out the window. He never would have thought that once Chohee was born that Hajoon would walk out like it was nothing, like she wasn’t leaving anything behind. His heart had been torn to pieces and he felt completely helpless, holding his only 2 month old daughter in his arms as he watched the woman that he thought he would make his wife walk out the door.
All sense of trust walked out the door with her, as if she packed it up in the bags she rolled behind her and now he couldn’t see himself with anyone else. How could he possibly trust anyone after what had happened to him? It was the longest con, and for what? He was left with a child who had won his heart the second he saw her, but he knew that his job would keep him from being the father that she deserved to have. Was it fair to keep her with him even if that was the case? He wasn’t sure, but all he did know was that he was trying his best, he was doing everything to give his daughter the best and to love her as much as he could when he was around, it was the only thing he felt like he could do. Never in his wildest dreams did he ever think he’d be a single father, yet here he was.
Even still, no matter how hard things got for him, there was nothing in the world that he’d trade his life for. He knew that one day he’d become a master at balancing his home life and his work life, it was a matter of time, and at some point he’d get it right. He truly loved his daughter, and when things would get hard or when he felt like everything was falling apart around him, all he had to do was look at her and see her smile and it helped him calm down, it made him see that things weren’t so bad, she was the light that he needed.
As he climbed into his car he let out a small sigh of relief knowing that he’d soon see his daughter, and while he was unsure of what he was going to do this weekend to make sure that she’d be watched and cared for, he knew that he’d be able to figure it out once he calmed down. He tried really hard not to let the stress of everything get to him which was easier said than done, but he found that it was easier to stay calm and let himself think when he had Chohee with him. He didn’t want her to see him upset or stressed, he didn’t want her to think that it was her fault that he was feeling that way.
He finally pulled his phone out of his jacket pocket, turning it on for the first time since he’s been at the office. One notification popped up on his screen that caught his eye, his heart freezing momentarily only to start racing once more as his fingers fumbled to type in his passcode. It wasn’t often that you called him, it was so rare that right now seemed like the first time you had which only had him panicking more as he dialed the number back and shoved his key into the ignition. His entire body was shaking as he put his car into drive, the ringing sound still coming through his phone which was on speaker in the center console, the silence that followed each ring only had his stomach sinking deeper as he raced towards the school.
“Hi, Seungcheol. This is Y/N, I was just…” You couldn’t finish your sentence, the sound of your voice coming through his phone had him immediately cutting you off, his mouth spilling out a slew of questions faster than you could even answer them, his main question being if Chohee was alright, if anything had happened to her. All he wanted to know was that his baby was okay, and then the sound of your giggling filled the silence of his car and he didn’t know whether to relax or be annoyed that you apparently thought his worrying was funny. “There’s no need for you to worry, Chohee is alright. We’re watching Finding Nemo. I called earlier to ask if it was okay if we had a little popcorn while we watched it, but she insisted that it was okay, so we had it anyway. It’s been an hour since then, so… I’m sorry for worrying you in any way. I just wanted to be sure…”
Popcorn. You had called him to ask if popcorn was okay, and now he was the one laughing, albeit sheepishly, at how worked up he had gotten. He had every right to worry about his daughter when she wasn’t with him, but he also had the tendency to overreact a little bit, something that he was highly aware of and something that he immediately felt bad about once he knew that everything was alright. “No, no, I’m sorry for coming at you like that… I just got a little panicky.” He let out an awkward chuckle, running his hand through his hair as he continued driving, feeling himself relax more and more the closer he got to his daughter. “Has she been good though? I know I’m pretty late picking her up, I’m sorry. I hope that she hasn’t given you any problems.” Usually Chohee would get fussy if he didn’t pick her up on time or if she was left with anyone a little longer than she was used to, it was one of the reasons he couldn’t leave her with his own mother longer than a weekend.
“Problems? Not at all. Chohee has been an absolute sweetheart, I really don’t mind having her stay after.” You said, and he could hear the sound of quiet crunching as you popped another piece of popcorn into your mouth. “She’s actually taking a small nap right now because the movie ended, I hope that isn’t going to affect her going to sleep tonight.” Shocked was the only way he would be able to describe the way he felt right now. Chohee rarely allowed herself to fall asleep at nap time unless she was at home in her own bed, and he was the one that had to get everything set up and just right so that she’d actually fall asleep. His mother would always call him, asking him how he managed to get Chohee to sleep, as if it were impossible to do, yet here you were accomplishing it as if it were no big deal. “I’m really going to miss having her around once summer break comes around.” You said, but your words had Seungcheol thinking way too hard, the gears of his mind whirring as it filled with questions of what he’d actually do once summer came.
“Summer break…” He murmured, unsure of it his phone even picked up his voice for you to hear, but he didn’t know what else to say. The two words were looming over his head like a dark cloud. Of course he’d try to do as much as he could with Chohee while she was on break, but it would be even harder for him to do his job when he always had her, and he really didn’t want to place the responsibility on his own mother either. “So uhm… Are you tutoring or anything this summer? Are you doing any extracurricular classes?” A part of him was interested, but the other part of him, the part that felt awful for even questioning what you were doing during the summer, that part of him wanted to know if there was any way for you to watch Chohee during the summer as well.
You hummed softly before responding, giving him a soft no that sent his hopes barreling into a downward spiral. “I don’t really have anything to do during the break. I actually need to find a part time job to fill the gap that’ll be there… and so I can pay my bills…” You paused momentarily before clearing your throat with a few quick coughs. “But if you need some recommendations for some tutors or some extra fun little classes that I think she’d love, I’m sure I can send you some of the information to sign up for one of them.” He hated the idea of it, putting Chohee into the care of someone that he doesn’t know at all. There was something about you, hearing you talk, having an actual conversation with you and hearing the way you spoke about his daughter that made him certain that his daughter was safe with you. He couldn’t just hand her off to another teacher and expect them to be as good with her as you are. It wouldn’t be that easy, he knew it wouldn’t, not only because of his own feelings towards the matter, but also because he knew the way that Chohee was.
“Yeah… Yeah I’ll think about it.” He murmured, nodding his head slowly as he stared out the windshield of his car. There was nothing to think about though, he had already thought enough about it. He wasn’t just going to put Chohee in some random class for the summer or make her join some extra activity that she’d most likely get bored of within the first couple days anyway. Like Jeonghan had said earlier, she’s only four, and being that young meant that her attention span wasn’t going to allow her to stay focused on something much longer than a week tops before it didn’t catch and hold her attention anymore. “I’m almost to the school by the way, I’ll be there soon.” He said quickly, trying to fill the silence that had taken over the car when you hadn’t said anything. He didn’t even wait for your response before his finger came down on the little red button to end the call. He wasn’t quite sure what exactly he was going to do, all he did know was that he needed to figure something out before the summer, and there was one thing, one option in particular that was stuck in the forefront of his brain, he just needed to make sure it was doable, then it would become his one and only choice.
Tumblr media
The parking lot to the school was practically empty aside from one car, one car that he could only assume was your own since you were the only one in the building. Seungcheol parked quickly next to it, rushing out of the vehicle and running down the sidewalk to get to the little side door that led into the classroom that he had dropped his daughter off earlier that morning. He didn’t notice at first, but the closer he got, the more he could see that the door to the classroom was already propped open, the sight of it initially causing his heart to sink as he picked up the pace. It wasn’t until he got right next to the door that he realized your head slightly peeking out of it with one of your fingers pressed against your lips. “She fell asleep watching Nemo and… Well she just looks so peaceful while she’s sleeping and I know how babies get when they’re woken up from naps and they’re not ready to face the rest of the day yet.” You giggled softly, trying to muffle the laughter in the palm of your hand as you walked back into the class alongside him. “I really hope you don’t mind that I let her sleep though, it might be kind of hard to get her to bed tonight…” You murmured sheepishly, standing next to your desk and fumbling through the papers that were strewn about it.
He watched you intently, and while most of the time he’d look at you as nothing more than Chohees teacher, it seemed like he was seeing you in a new light with a new set of eyes. There was a glow about you that he couldn’t quite place his finger on. Maybe it was the way the corner of your mouth twitched up into a small smile as you looked over the drawings that the other kids in the Pre-K class had made, drawings that he couldn’t quite make sense of himself, but you saw in the scribbled art something that only you could see. It could have been that, it could have also been the way that you talked to him, the way you talked about his daughter, the way you treated them both as if they were humans, as if she wasn’t the daughter of a k-pop idol, as if he wasn’t a k-pop idol himself. To you, he was just Choi Seungcheol, the father of Choi Chohee. “Don’t worry about her bedtime, she knows when she needs to sleep at night.” He said, trying to match the quiet tone that you were keeping with him, not wanting his daughter to wake up just yet. “Do you uh… do you keep sleeping bags and stuff in your class for all the students?” He questioned, noticing the pretty pink floral cot that his daughter was sleeping on, a fluffy pillow tucked under her head and a plush animal snug within her arms under the blanket.
You hummed softly, shaking your head as you continued sorting out the papers. “Ah… no… I uhm, I brought it in because she usually stays a little later than the rest of the class and we watch movies… I know how uncomfortable the floor is… so I just got a little cot for her. I hope that’s alright.” Finally looking up from the papers, your eyes met his own and he didn’t know whether he was in love or in awe, maybe a bit of both, at how much you seemed to care about his daughter. “I’m sorry, I should have asked before I did that… I just wanted her to be comfortable…” You said quickly, apparently taking his silence as disapproval.
His hands moved up in the air as he shook his head, not disapproving what you had told him in the slightest, more so, he was in disbelief. You seemed to care more about his daughter than her own mother did, and you surely did more for her than her mother did, it was just something that shocked him. “Thank you. I probably say that way too much, but you really don’t know how much it helps, how much it means to me that there’s someone like you that cares about Chohee as much as you do.” There was nothing else he could say, he wanted you to know how appreciative he was of everything that you did for his daughter because it truly meant the world to him, but he also felt the need to get closer to you building up inside of him.
“Oh…” You whispered, the word coming out as more of a breath than anything else, and he could tell that his words had made you flustered. “It’s really no problem at all. She keeps me company while I’m going through papers and work and stuff, and it’s been a while since I’ve had company while watching a movie.” You let out a sheepish giggle, finally finding the paper that you were apparently looking for and handing it to him. “Here, she drew this. She wanted you to have it and she said something about hanging it on the fridge with all her other drawings… In not that many words but, I understood what she meant.” The paper was slipped between his fingers and it took a couple seconds for him to understand what was going on in the picture, but the neat writing of who was who in the picture helped him catch on rather quickly.
Three stick figures were lined along the page, one was shorter than the rest and he immediately knew that was his daughter without the help of her name and the arrow above her head. His stick figure was standing next to his daughter, the stick arms connected as if he were holding her hand in the picture and he couldn’t contain the small smile that he felt pulling at his lips when he saw it, but the smile immediately fell when he saw the other stick figure. It was on the complete other side, and he could only assume that it was a representation of Chohees mother, it even had the word mom written above it, although it wasn’t often that Chohee even saw her mother. There were two squares in the picture too, which must have been a representation of his house and her mothers house and the longer he looked at the picture, the more it felt like his heart was breaking. “Thank you…” He whispered, and before he could continue, both his and your eyes shot up at the sound of Chohee stirring in the little sleeping bag.
“Daddy!” She cheered as her eyes blinked away the sleep and finally focused in on him, her tiny legs scrambling to kick away the sleeping bag blanket and push herself up to run over to him. His arms immediately outstretched to catch her in them, swooping her up and holding her against his chest as her own arms wrapped around his neck.
Out of the corner of his eye he could see you smiling softly at him, your head bowed towards your desk trying to make it seem like you weren’t watching, but he knew you were. “Let’s get going. I’m sure Ms. Y/N wants to get home and get some sleep too. Tell her goodbye, and you’ll see her in two more days.” He said, gently setting Chohee back down on her feet, taking a step back to let his daughter go. He wasn’t expecting her to run over to you, her little arms wrapping around your legs and clinging onto you as a small pout formed on her lips.
“You come home too…” She said, trying to hold back the whine in her voice. “I love you…” It was shocking to say the least, hearing his daughter say those words to anyone other than him and his own family, and it seemed like even you were shocked to hear them. Your eyes darted between him and Chohee as you tried to think of what to say. “Please…” Your lips parted slightly only to shut again, unable to think of what to say in response, your eyes meeting Seungcheols as if questioning him on what you should say.
“Cho… Honey… Ms. Y/N has to go home… to her own home and eat and get some sleep.” He tried to say as sweetly as possible, hoping that his daughter would understand as he tried to softly pry her off your legs. “You’ll see her again soon.” He said, lifting her up into his arms and snuggling her against his chest, the quiet sniffles coming from his daughter as she buried her face in his shoulder were heart shattering, but he didn’t know what to do. “I’m so sorry for that… She never does that. I’ll see you Monday morning…” He said quickly to you, turning around to head out the door.
“Let me know if she’s alright when you get home. If she wants, if it’s alright with you, you can call and I’ll talk to her on the phone if she’s still upset.” Not even her mother would have done something like that for her, but you were offering. He nodded his head, giving you a small smile as he walked out of the classroom, his heart and his mind torn on what to do. Of course he wanted his daughter to be happy, but he obviously couldn’t just move you into his house to make her happy. He was sure that the only reason she was acting this way today was because her mother was supposed to pick her up and ended up letting her down. She wanted to feel some type of motherly bond with someone and that person just ended up being you today. He’d just have to explain to Chohee that you were her teacher and nothing else, or maybe she’d just forget about it anyway and he wouldn’t have to break that news to her in the first place. Even still, he might have been able to come up with a solution for what his daughter was going through, but that still left him with his own thoughts and his own emotions that he didn’t quite know how to handle.
Chohee sat in her carseat in the back row of the car, her head bowed as she focused on his phone that he had handed her to keep her occupied while he drove. “So… Did you have fun today?” He questioned, wanting to know all about her day, not only because he felt like it was his job to know these things, but also because he was intrigued as to why she acted the way she did when he had to take her home. Chohee hummed softly, nodding her head in agreement, a motion that he would have missed if he hadn’t been at a red light and looking at her through the rearview mirror. “That’s good. What movie did you watch?” He pressed further, and while he had already been told by you, he wanted to hear what Chohee had to say.
She clicked her tongue against the roof of her mouth as she placed the phone off to the side, her arms folding in front of her chest as she looked straight at the back of his head. “Nemo. I like the fishies. I had popcorn. We cried at the ‘ginning of the movie… mean shark ate the baby fishies. But first I did my work with everyone else… Then they went home. I got to play outside two times on the slides though. I drew a pretty picture for the kitchen too.” She had gone through what seemed like the complete itinerary of what her day had consisted of, telling him about it as if she were an adult herself. He hated the idea of that, the thought of her growing up, knowing that he’s missing out on a majority of everything that happens in her life because of his job. “She said I call her if I upset…” Seungcheol hadn’t thought that she would have caught what she said, he didn’t think she’d actually want to do something like that either, but he knew that there was a reason Chohee was bringing it up. “I upset enough…? I wanna talk to her…”
His eyebrows lowered over his eyes as he took the turn onto his homestreet, glancing at her through the rearview mirror as she grabbed the phone off the side seat and began swiping across it again. “You don’t have to be upset to call Ms. Y/N, she just thought that maybe you’d want to talk to her more if you were upset already.” He explained, not wanting his daughter thinking that she needed to be sad or upset in the slightest bit just to talk to someone. “And I want to talk to you first when we get home. I barely get to see you because I’m working so much. I miss you, honey bunny.” And that was the entire truth. He felt like when he was away from her, an entire half of himself was missing. She was his everything, she’s who made him who he was now, and when he wasn’t with her he just didn’t feel like himself. The most he wanted when he did get to see her was to have a couple minutes with her before she ran off to play with her toys.
She reluctantly agreed to talking to him, the sound coming out as more of a huff as he pulled into the driveway, her tiny hands already working at the car seat straps that held her in. It seemed like she was growing up too fast and it felt like he was missing all of it. “What we talking about?” She mused, hopping out of her seat once he had pulled the keys from the ignition, leaning over the center console to look at him. “You wanna talk about Nemo?” The question was so wholesome, so sweet, and while it wasn’t exactly on his list of things he wanted to talk to her about, the way she asked it was far too adorable to say no to, so he simply nodded, climbing out of the car and quickly making his way around to the back to let her out.
From the moment she stepped foot onto the pavement outside of the car she was talking nonstop about the movie. She spoke of it as if she had never seen it before, although he was sure that Seungkwan or Joshua had watched it with her already. She went through the entire plot, her entire body moving animatedly as she sat next to him on the couch, a chubby cheeked smile spread across her face as she spoke. He couldn’t bring himself to cut her off, she was so excited, so he listened intently, nodding and humming softly whenever she paused and looked to him to make sure he was still listening. It took almost half an hour for her to finally finish telling him about the movie, and by that time he had almost forgotten what he really wanted to talk about. He wouldn’t have remembered it if she hadn't brought it up. “Are you going to hang my art on the fridge, daddy?” She asked, looking down at the tiny corner of the white paper that was sticking out of his pants pocket.
He nodded quickly, pulling the paper out of his pocket and unfolding it carefully to lay in his lap. “Tell me about the drawing first.” He said, trying to keep his voice light and cheerful so she wouldn’t get upset, although seeing it himself had him swallowing back the lump that was slowly building in his throat. “I know that that’s me and you… right?” She nodded in agreement, beaming proudly up at him as she pointed to the two stick figures that depicted the both of them. “You did a really good job on us. I really like the way you colored the house pink and yellow, it’s super pretty.” Her smile somehow grew wider at the compliment, her eyes turning into crescents from her puffy cheeks pushing up against them. Now it was time for the hard part, he had to ask about the other stick figure, the one that was so distant from the other two. He didn’t want to upset her, but he didn’t want her to feel like she had to bottle up any of her feelings that she might have about her mom, he wanted her to know that it was okay to talk about it.
Before he had the chance to utter the first word in the question, her tiny little finger came down on the smaller square next to the stick figure that was labeled as her mother, but her smile never faltered like he thought it would. “And that’s my classroom…” Her finger slid to the stick figure, tapping against it repeatedly with what he could only assume was excitement. “And that’s mom… You call her Ms. Y/N… That’s weird. Can I call her? When is she coming home?”
As hard as he tried, he couldn’t contain the expression of shock that spread across his face when she said it, and his expression was only a visual of a quarter of the shock that he actually felt from hearing her say it. “Well… That’s…” He didn’t know what to say or how to respond to such a thing. Chohee knew who her mother was, at least he tried to make sure that she did. Then again, it wasn’t really something that he could control if his daughter felt that kind of connection to someone other than her own biological mother. It wasn’t exactly his fault that Hajoon wasn’t ever around and he wasn’t going to try to tell Chohee that the way that she was feeling was bad… He’d just have to explain to her that you weren’t her mother. “Do you call Ms. Y/N mom when you’re at school?” He asked, sheepishly and almost afraid to hear her answer, and he let out a soft sigh of relief when she shook her head no. “You do know that… well… she’s not actually your mom… right, honey?” He gnawed on his bottom lip nervously as he watched her face, her little legs dangling and swinging over the edge of the couch as she looked straight out into the room, deep in thought.
“Hmph…” She grumbled, swinging her legs faster, kicking them against the bottom of the couch in frustration as she tried to understand her own thought process. “But… Mom not around… so… Ms. Y/N…” She said your name mockingly in the way that Seungcheol would say it, and he was taken aback to say the least at how sassy she sounded. “She like my mom… but I know… she not…” It was as if saying it made her realize that the words were true, and that realization had a tiny frown forming on her face, her bottom lip jutting out as she pushed herself off the couch and sulked into her bedroom leaving Seungcheol on the couch feeling utterly confused and conflicted on what to do.
Tumblr media
“So let me get this straight… You’re going to ask her teacher over for dinner?” Jeonghan repeated what Seungcheol had just told him. Now that Chohee had left to spend the weekend with his mother, he felt like he could really talk about what was going on and how he felt, but he couldn’t talk to you yet, he needed to talk to one of the other members first. They were like his brothers and he wanted to hear from them if they felt like the choice he was thinking about making seemed right, not only for him, but for Chohee as well. “Did you try to explain to Cho that her teacher isn’t her mom, that she’s just a really nice lady?”
Seungcheol groaned in frustration, pacing around the length of his bedroom, his legs unable to keep still now that he was left alone with all of his thoughts. “Of course I did. It’s not really easy to tell a four year old that the way they feel isn’t correct… Plus, I mean… with the way that Hajoon is, do you really expect Chohee to look at her as her mother?” Jeonghan mumbled something that sounded like a you’re right into the speaker, but before he could say anything in response, Seungcheol continued. “And, it’s not like anything is going to come of it, I just need to talk to her, have a legitimate conversation without a bunch of kids or Chohee around.” He wasn’t exactly lying about the first part, but he wasn’t really telling the truth either. He didn’t really know what was going to happen, but he knew that something had sparked within him when he saw the way you were with his daughter, he knew that he was fond of you, but he wasn’t sure if it was just because of the way you cared for Chohee or if it was something else.
Jeonghan sighed heavily, his lips making the sound of a raspberry being blown before speaking. “It’s up to you what you want to do obviously… You’re a grown man, you’re a father, and I know that you’re going to do what’s best for Chohee, at least, you’ll do what you think is best for her, but I also don’t want to see you in another situation like you were in before. We lost you for a while, and it’s not even about the music or the group, it’s the fact that we don’t like seeing you like that. We’ve known you for a while, you’re a brother to all of us, we just want you to take care of yourself, do what’s best for you.” He knew how the others felt about Hajoon, he knew how much they worried about him after everything that happened, but something about you, the way you looked at him, the way you looked at his daughter, he knew that if anything were to really start between the two of you that it would be different, it would be better.
A bit more chatting and a quick goodbye and the call with Jeonghan was over. Now Seungcheol had to make a decision, make a choice that could affect himself and Chohee in either the best or the worst possible way. If anything went downhill, that could be the difference between you being so sweet and so kind to his daughter, it would be the difference between you looking after his daughter when he or one of the other members were running a little late. Was it a price that he was really willing to pay? His surety was running low, he didn’t feel so sure about anything right now, but he knew that he couldn’t afford to lose you. It wasn’t just himself that he was looking out for either, but Chohee and her feelings. He couldn’t just worry about himself anymore, he had to take care of his daughter, he had to make sure she was happy, and any change in your demeanor towards her, she would pick it up.
It would be so easy if it were just himself that he had to think about, but then again, in that case he would have never met you anyway. Chohee would always be his first priority, and her happiness came above all else in his life, which is why this decision was only becoming harder and harder to come to. If things went well, if everything went without a hitch, the final outcome could make Chohee so happy, something that he loved to see. His daughter's smile was priceless to him, there was no amount of money in the world that would amount to how proud he felt when he saw it and he could only imagine how wide her smile would be if things went smoothly. It was that pride that he wanted to feel, that swelling in his heart when she’d beam up at him, the need to make his daughter happy that had him making the final decision on what to do. Maybe it was crazy of him to go out on a limb like this when there was so much more at stake than just his heart and his daughters happiness, but not being crazy never got anyone anywhere… Hell, being crazy and stepping out on that limb is what had blessed him with Chohee in the first place… what’s the worst that could happen?
4 Years Later
“Are you glad that it’s summertime now?” Chohee asked as you both walked towards your car, the warm breeze that brought along the promise of vacation and a much needed break blew against you and Chohee as you walked through the parking lot. “I think dad has to work a lot though… He doesn’t get summer breaks like we do. Is that fair? I don’t know if it is… How is he going to spend time with me?” She was full of questions, full of excitement at what the next two and a half months would bring. Her long black hair bounced as she skipped along the pavement, the sound of her pencils rattling in her backpack mixed with the sound of her shoes hitting the ground. “Dad said that my mom wants to pick me up for a weekend real soon… Should I go?”
She came to a full stop, looking up at you with eyes that screamed her question at you. It wasn’t that you exactly hated her mother, but you had a lot of reasons to dislike her. Hajoon had practically abandoned Chohee when she was a baby and she had broken Seungcheols heart, you had no reason to actually like her, but it wasn’t your place to tell Chohee whether she should see her mother or not. “You do what you want to do, Cho… If you don’t want to go, you don’t have to. If you do want to go, then I want you to do what makes you happy.” You said as sweetly as possible, but you couldn’t help but feel a pang of worry at the thought of Chohee actually going to spend a weekend with her mother.
“I haven’t seen her in a long time…” She mused, taking a slow step forward before picking up her normal pace and walking towards the car again. It seemed like she was thinking really hard about what to say, how to answer her own question. “Maybe I should ask dad when I get home… But he’d probably say the same thing you did.” She grumbled incoherently under her breath as she climbed into the backseat of your car, tossing her backpack to the side before buckling her seatbelt. “I’ll think about it a little bit longer.” She said, although it seemed like she was mainly talking to herself. She was deep in thought about it, and you wished that you could just answer the question for her, but it wasn’t your place to do that.
“You take all the time you need, Cho.” You murmured, climbing into the drivers side and starting up your car to start the drive home, occasionally glancing in the rearview mirror to see Chohees face contorted into one of questions, answers, confusion, and thoughts. It was like you could see the gears in her head turning as she tried to figure out what to do, and seeing her look so frazzled only added on to your list of reasons to dislike Hajoon even more than you already did.
Tumblr media
With Chohees backpack slung over your shoulder, you stayed a couple steps behind her as she ran to the front door of the apartment, pushing it open and letting out an excited squeal as she ran into the house and out of your view. You could still hear her though, although her voice was meeting your ears as more of a muffled noise than actual words, once you turned the corner you could see that Seungcheol had wrapped her in a tight bear hug, the reason for her almost muted words. “Hey!” He called out to you as you finally walked in, shutting the door softly behind you. He waved to you, a soft smile on his face as he started walking over to you while Chohee stood on his feet. “Seems like Cho had a good last day of school, how was yours though?”
He was teasing you, the silly little smirk that he was trying to contain made itself evident on his face as he looked at you, but you could only sigh, shaking your head as you hung Chohees backpack on the hook on the wall and dropped down onto the couch in the living room. “It’s the same every year. Half the class is gone because the last day doesn’t matter, and the kids that did get sent are so overly excited that I can’t even get them to focus on the movie that I have playing in the front of the room.” There was something in your voice, something in the way you spoke that had Seungcheols eyes narrowing suspiciously as he looked you over. “What?” You hadn’t even noticed it yourself what could possibly have him looking at you that way, but you watched as he squatted down and told Chohee to go play in her room before taking a seat on the couch beside you.
Both of you watched her run off towards her bedroom before his finger was slipping beneath your chin and turning your head so you’d face him. “What’s wrong?” He whispered, his thumb lightly brushing along your bottom lip as his eyes caught yours. It was hard to speak when he looked at you like that, it was hard to speak when he looked at you in general. He was perfect, and no matter how many times you had seen him, it seemed like the reaction you had to him would always be the same. You shrugged lightly, clicking your tongue against the roof of your mouth. You didn’t want to actually answer the question, you knew that the way that you were feeling right now wasn’t right, but it didn’t change the fact that you felt that way anyway. “Y/N…” He cooed your name, trying to pull the answer from you, but when you kept silent, he decided to try to figure it out himself. “I know it’s not because I’m going on tour this summer, you and Cho seem to love it when I’m gone. You always have all the fun…” You side eyed him, giving him a look that told him that he was wrong. That wasn’t the reason that you were upset right now, but you always missed him when he had to leave. “Is it because you’re going to miss your class?” You shook your head, and while he wasn’t particularly wrong, you always missed all of your students that you had to say goodbye to, it didn’t seem like he was getting any closer to the real reason.
Taking a deep breath, you fell over against his side and let the breath out through your nose. “Chohee brought up visiting Hajoon…” You finally admitted, hearing the soft hum of final understanding sound through his chest. “I know that I don’t have the right to be upset… That’s her mother, but… She said that you told her and you didn’t tell me….” You chewed on your bottom lip, a sudden feeling of almost betrayal forming in your stomach as if a match had just been lit. “And I know that you shouldn’t have to tell me because it’s not my business whether Hajoon gets her or not… But… I just want to know that Cho is okay…”
Seungcheols hand ran up and down your back in a motion to try to soothe you as you continued to speak, silent tears slipping over your lower lashes and trickling down your cheeks, tears that he had caught immediately and quickly wiped away with the thumb of his free hand. “I didn’t tell you because you had a lot on your plate at the time, but I was going to tell you.” He whispered, leaning in to kiss the top of your head before leaning back against the couch, pulling you closer to him. “And in regards to it being your business, it is your business. You’re more of a mother to her than Hajoon is, and whether you know it or not, Chohee thinks the same thing. She absolutely adores you, maybe more than I do, but I’m not willing to bet on that just yet.” His attempt at lightheartedness had you letting out a giggle. “I know that you worry about her, and I do too, trust me, I do… but I know that she’s going to be okay because we both know that Hajoon isn’t going to actually follow through with getting her. When was the last time she’s actually picked her up?” The question had you thinking really hard, trying to remember the last time you even saw Hajoon and Chohee in the same room together. The lack of your answer had Seungcheol nodding as if you had already answered his question. “See, you have nothing to worry about. Chohee is going to stay here with us all summer.”
As if on queue, Chohee ran out of her room, diving into the little bit of space that was between you and Seungcheol, nestling against you as she threw her legs up onto his lap. “I get to stay with you and mommy all summer?” She cheered, clearly having been eavesdropping on the entire conversation. “That means we can all go to the beach again like last year, right? I like building sandcastles… Oh! And this time, I’m gonna make mommy get all the way in the water. Remember when we had that big splash fight… that was fun… I like that.” Her little mind wandered into her memories, her stories had you and Seungcheol doing the same thing, letting out quiet chuckles as the images filled your minds. “Oh… Daddy?” She turned to him with wide eyes, her hands clasping together as if she were about to have an extremely serious conversation with him. He hummed softly to let her know he was listening as he drummed lightly on her knees, looking at her intently. “Did you give mommy the ring that I helped you pick out yet? You said that you’d do it during the summer, it’s summer time now. You said that when you give her the ring that it means the two of you stay together forever, I want mommy to stay here forever. Do you want me to get it out of your drawer for you?”
He let out an awkward laugh, his face turning bright red and his eyes just as wide as hers were, but now you were laughing hysterically all while your heart swelled with excitement and love for the man that sat beside you. “Gosh… Cho… That was a really big secret you just told…” He said sheepishly, running his hand through his hair before dropping it down onto his lap and looking at you. “Well I guess since you already said it, do you want to go get it for me so I can give it to her?” Chohee nodded her head, jumping off the couch and bounding across the room as fast as her legs could carry her. “It wasn’t supposed to go like this…” He murmured, watching as Chohee ran back into the living room with the black velvet box that she quickly handed to him.
You scooped her into your arms and pulled her onto your lap, the body still shaking from the laughter that was slowly subsiding. “You know, I think I like this proposal way better, surrounded by my two favorite people in the comfort of the apartment.” You said, letting out an audible gasp when Seungcheol opened the box and revealed the beautifully cut diamond ring, the light reflecting off the facets of the stone as he pulled it out of the box.
“Hmm… I had a whole speech prepared for this but I didn’t have the time to practice it…” He sounded shy now, his thumb and pointer finger shakily holding onto the ring as he grabbed your hand and held it between both of your bodies. “I guess I don’t need to give a whole speech though, I hope you know how much I love you, how much Chohee loves you. You’re a great mom to her, and you didn’t even have to be, but you love her like your own and it makes me so happy. You showed her what a real mom should be, what a real mom is, and you showed me that I don’t have to be afraid to love someone because of what happened in the past. You love me for who I am, not what I do… And I love you for everything that you are… So, will you marry me?”

He remembers the conversation clearly, mainly because it had been something that irritated him to no end and it was only made worse by the fact that he was trying his best to be excited because he knew you were coming the very next day and the last thing he wanted to greet you with was an attitude because the management team failed to realize that even idols fall victim to that very strong feeling called love.
“Both of your contracts clearly state that you’re not allowed to date. This was made clear to the both of you when you signed your contracts because for some reason it’s the one rule that many idols just love to break. You both clearly stated that you didn’t mind and signed away the rights to date when you wrote your names at the bottoms of each of your contracts. If you continue to see both of those girls, your contracts will be nullified and you’ll both be the ones explaining to the other members and your fans that your love lives are more important than both the group and the fans happiness. Is that something that you’d like to do?” And just to make it more clear, the man at the table pulled out the folder with both Soonyoungs and Seungkwans contract in it, tapping their names that were signed by them at the very bottom.

He was fuming at this point, and Soonyoung had nothing to say, his mouth hanging open as his eyes scanned over the contract, reading over the line that they had politely highlighted for the both of them prior to the meeting. “Do you really think people follow the rules that strictly?” Seungkwan asked, knowing damn well that he wasn’t the only idol in the business that had begun a relationship under a contract that strictly forbade it.
“As long as we don’t see them breaking the rules, it doesn’t count. As long as the fans don’t know, it doesn’t matter. Does this make sense to you?” The man said, slipping the paper away and sliding it back into the folder before pushing it off to the side. “You two are careless and reckless when it comes to your relationships, and to be brutally honest, I don’t think either of you are ready for a real relationship, so you should be thankful for the contract.”
Furious failed to explain just how Seungkwan was feeling at the words that were said to him, and he didn’t care who he was talking to, he didn’t care for respect, especially when the man sitting across from him didn’t care much for it either. “I know what I’m ready for, and Soonyoung knows as well. Your contract has been nothing but a hindrance on our happiness and I quite honestly don’t care for the sheet of paper. Our fans love us, our band members love us, and so do our girlfriends. If you want to put one silly rule above all of that, that’s on you. I won’t let that change my mind, and better yet, I’ll bring my girlfriend onto one of my streams just to introduce her to the fans because I’m sure they’ll love her just as much as I do.” He took a deep breath, cracking his neck as he rolled it before tapping his fingers against the table top, trying his best to hold back from lunging at the man across from him. “What you fail to understand is that our fans, the ones that truly love us and care for us, want nothing more than for us to be happy, and those are the only fans that matter to us. You only care for money, and money can’t buy happiness… Maybe that’s why you’re so miserable and have no ring on your finger in your fifties.”
The smug look on the man's face immediately dropped and even Soonyoung let out a loud gasp as Seungkwan stood up from his chair and headed to the door, leaving the man rendered speechless, and neither of the boys wanted to stay behind to hear whatever it was that he could think to say once he did think of anything. The both of them had things to do, and the company policy was the last thing on their minds as they headed back to the dorms to prepare for the next day.
“Can’t believe you risked everything like that…” You murmured as you laid in his arms, the dim light of the moon dusting your room in the softest white light. It had been a week since he had gone off on the man behind the desk, and he hadn’t lost his job, he hadn’t been told to leave the group and neither had Hoshi. It had actually come as a shock to him considering he was ready for the ball to drop like that, but instead, the two of them had actually gotten the blessings of PD Bang for a long lasting, healthy, happy, and loving relationship.
“For you…” He whispered, letting his fingers trail delicately along your skin, the image of your body perfectly ingrained in his mind. The tips of his fingers lingered along the spot where the fresh scar had formed, a constant reminder of what you had gone through, only making him want to protect you more. “I’d risk it all over again. All of it means nothing if I don’t have you to talk to about it at the end of the day. How are you feeling?”
Your only response was a content hum before pecking a quick kiss to his lips and settling into your pillow while scooting closer to him. “You know what’s funny?” You mused, walking your fingers up and down his arm absentmindedly as you looked over his features that looked even more perfect in the soft glow of the moon. “If I hadn’t been sent back home… I’d be in my last week here… I’d have to go home soon.”
Even though his smile fell at the mention of such a sad truth, it was one that he didn’t have to worry about now. “I wouldn’t have let you go back home anyway. I meant what I said before…” He reminded you, moving his hand up to your waist to your shoulder and then down your arm before catching your hand, positioning it perfectly so that the diamond faceted ring on your finger would catch the beams of light, reflecting them into perfect prisms on the walls of the pristine white room. “This ring would have ended up on your finger whether I had to get you from LA or if you had stayed here the entire time.”
He brought your hand to his lips, kissing along each of your fingers before letting it drop around his waist and allowing you to hide your flustered face in his chest, finding it adorable how shy you got whenever he acted like this, which only made him do it more often. “The fans seemed really happy to see me… especially when you pulled me on your lap, I’m pretty sure most of them went crazy. The chat was moving too fast to read all the comments.” You mumbled against his chest, but he remembered it well, and it had been such a relief to see the fans so calm about the announcement of not only your relationship, but the engagement as well. Of course, no one could escape the hate comments, but he made sure to catch your attention with something else whenever one would scroll across the screen. “I think ours was way more casual than Hoshis and Tillys announcement.”
Seungkwan snorted loudly, hiding his face in your hair to muffle his laughter as his chest vibrated and shook with his silent chuckles. “It was awful but I loved it.” He said between small snorts, pulling you closer to him. “There’s actually a poll up on twitter from one of our carats about who the cuter couple is, and obviously I’ve been voting every day for us. I think Hoshi is doing the same thing for him and Tilly though.”
You rolled your eyes as you shook your head, giggling softly as you playfully shoved at his shoulder. “You both are so competitive for no reason.” You teased, and he didn’t even disagree because it had been like this the entire time. Competing for who was the softest couple, who was the cringiest couple, who had the coolest ship name, and this was only one more of the many competitions they’d have.
“How long do you have to be engaged in order to get married?” He asked as nonchalantly as possible, but you scoffed loudly, rolling over so your back was towards him, whispering out a quiet “Goodnight”, but he wasn’t going to let it go that easily. “It’s not to compete with him, I swear. I just want to make sure I don’t lose you again. You can be my Boo, my little Boo Bear, my Boo Boo…”
You rolled over quickly and pressed your lips to his to quiet his rambling of cheesy nicknames, and the way his entire body seemed to relax as soon as your lips were against his just showed how much he loved you, how comfortable he was with you. “You talk so much when you’re excited, it’s adorable, but you also need to sleep. The last thing I want to hear is that I won’t let you sleep or that I’m keeping you up all night.”
He stuck his tongue out, the tip of it pressing against your nose causing your face to scrunch up as you tried to pull back, but his arms only tightened around you to hold you where you were. “I can’t sleep until you say it…” He dramatically whined but the act was only kept up for a fraction of a second before he started laughing at himself.
“I love you… Now get some sleep, your makeup artist is going to kill me if you go in with eyebags tomorrow.” He let out a sigh of content, like his life was complete, those three words were just what he needed to hear and whenever he heard them it was like everything fell into place.
The company policy was there for a reason, or so he had thought at the beginning of all of this, but now he knew that it was nothing, the rules meant nothing, not when they were put in place to keep him from you. He couldn’t imagine a single day without you in it, and while there was still a lot to be done to get your lives together started, he was grateful that he had taken that first step, or better yet, that he had been pushed to you. It was the greatest thing that had happened to him, you were the greatest thing that had happened to him.

It didn’t stop him from going though. When he said that he wanted to see you, he hadn’t been lying. He truly did want to meet up with you, to hang out with you, to get to know you better. It was crazy how one person could completely nullify all the rules that he had been following for so long. He didn’t even know what it was about you that had him acting so careless, so reckless. Maybe it was the fact that you were so new, or maybe it was because you were just… different. All he wanted to do was see you, that much he did know, and he wasn’t going to let anyone or anything stand in his way, especially some dude who was on the complete other side of the globe who still thought he owned you.
“ Text me when you need to be picked up.” Hoshi said as he pulled up out front of the apartment building, his fingers drumming on the steering wheel rapidly, almost as fat as Seungkwans heart was beating. “And remember to keep your head down, your hat low, and your hoodie up. Don’t let anyone see you.” Seungkwan rolled his eyes at the suggestion, not because it was ridiculous, it was actually the smartest thing Hoshi had said the entire car ride, it’s just that Seungkwan had come up with it first.
He nodded, climbing out of the car and inhaling deeply, letting the fresh air fill his lungs before stepping inside of the building, making a b-line for the emergency stairs, not wanting to risk someone coming out of the elevator and recognizing him. It was a shame that you lived on the fifth floor, if it had only been the first or second, he would have risked the elevator, but there were too many floors in between where he was and where you were at. Anyone could hop on at any time and he didn’t want his cover to be blown.
“Fucking stairs…” Seungkwan mumbled as he finally reached the fifth level landing, catching his breath as he stood beside the door that opened up into the hallway. Luckily it was Sunday, nobody was out of their apartment it seemed, and it didn’t look like anyone was heading home from work right now. Most people were probably inside their apartments resting up for tomorrow morning, something he would usually be doing if he wasn’t here. One week truly did turn the tables of his life upside down, and he wasn’t sure at the moment whether he minded it or not.
Doing a double take up and down the length of the hallway, he made sure it was clear before heading to your door, and in the moment, he was the pure visual definition of hauling ass, his fists coming down on your door harder than he had planned and he could only imagine how shocked, or how scared you must be from the sound of it. “Ah… christ… I’m coming!” Your voice shouted from the other side of the thin barrier that kept him from you, and now his hands were sweating in the pockets of his hoodie, his chest puffed out as he held his breath, waiting for you to open the door.
Your white shirt had become see-through and there was a massive water stain down the front of it, your hair was pulled up into a bun on the top of your head, and you stared at him incredulously, clearly shocked that he was standing right in front of you. “Hey…” He murmured, left speechless as his eyes were drawn to the darkened color of your shirt down the center and then the lack of anything being worn underneath it. “Uhm…”
“Get in, quickly.” You ordered, stepping away from the door so he could walk through before glancing up and down the hallway and then shutting the door behind you, leaning against it as you crossed your arms over your chest. “First off, how did you find me? Second… this is twice now, you’re gonna start owing me clothes.” He swallowed thickly as he stared at you, and there was something about the way you looked now, he just couldn’t stop staring.
He had seen you at work multiple times, and you always dressed up, making sure to look presentable, and you looked absolutely stunning obviously, but seeing you now… It was the casualness of it, the pajama shorts and the baggy t-shirt that now clung to your body as if for dear life, outlining the shape of your bare breasts. “Tilly told Hoshi and Hoshi told me.” He spilled quickly, watching as your eyes rolled adorably before you pushed yourself away from your door, heading somewhere else in your apartment, leaving him standing in the entrance like a lost puppy. “I’m sorry… I didn’t mean to come unannounced, but I know that if I told you I was coming, you’d tell me not to and you’d be even more upset.”
You continued walking, going straight into one of the doors, and he truly didn’t know what to do. Did he follow you? Did he keep standing there? Now the door to the room you went into was shut and he was even more confused. “I’m not upset…” You called out, and he let out a quiet sigh of relief. “I just don’t know why you’re trying so hard. Is this like… some kind of test, to see if I’ll follow the rules?” You asked as you walked out of the room, a brand new hoodie on that was so large it seemed to swallow your frame completely.
“It’s not a test, I swear!” He said defensively, still standing in the same spot, his feet practically glued to the floor. “Did you ever think that maybe I just want to be around you?” He asked, his eyes following your every move as you walked around your apartment, grabbing two glasses from one of the cabinets in the kitchen and setting them down on the counter. ‘Mmmm, nope’ You murmured out from where you stood, filling the glasses with tea before turning to look at him. “Well I do…”
You smiled softly, walking over and stopping right in front of him as you handed him the cup. “Doesn’t seem like it since you haven’t moved out of the doorway since you’ve been here.” You teased, causing a chain reaction that had him kicking off his shoes and following you into the living room to drop down onto the couch beside you. “She’s so mouthy… She told him my address so easily… If someone else were to ask…” Your light attitude diminished quickly as you curled into yourself on the couch.
“You mean Niko…” He filled in the blanks that you had left open and you simply glanced over at him as you brought your cup up to your lips, sipping on the beverage quietly. “You didn’t tell me that he was violent.” He continued after a moment of silence that he thought you would have filled, and you sighed softly, placing your cup down on the coffee table and turning your whole body to look at him.
“That’s not a very cool text message to send out to one of your biggest crushes, you know? I didn’t know how you’d react to it.” Your smile was so forced, he would have much rather have seen you pouting. It was more devastating to him that you tried so hard to make it seem like everything was okay even though he knew it wasn’t. “I’m totally okay though, you don’t have to worry so much.” You nodded your head for emphasis, turning straight once more to grab your cup, but he wasn’t just going to let the conversation end there. He knew you were faking being okay, and he didn’t want you to have to fake it, he wanted you to truly be okay.
“I was pissed when I found out, just letting you know.” He responded, watching as your teeth sunk into your bottom lip, rolling the pink flesh nervously as you listened to him speak. “And don’t tell me not to worry about you. I heard that your friends are terrified of him, and I know for a fact that you’re scared of him, but for some reason you still care about him enough to keep him around.” He shook his head, in disbelief at the words he had just said, it was truly impossible for him to fathom why you’d care about someone like that after what they had done to you.
You shook your head, your cheeks hollowing as you continued to stare forward, blinking rapidly, and he caught a glimpse of the reflection of the sunlight coming through the windows on the stray tear that trickled down your cheek. “I don’t care about him… I care about my friends and my family. That’s why I keep him around, because I know he’d just hurt them to try to get to me. I don’t want to be the reason they get hurt, so I deal with it, I deal with him. You don’t understand.” He didn’t understand, not at first, but now he was beginning to grasp it, and it only pissed him off more. “I’m not allowed to be with you, or around you… He’ll call the company and I’ll lose my internship and I’ll have to go back home… to him.”
Tugging at the sleeve of your hoodie, you blotted at your eyes, taking a shaky breath as you tried to calm yourself down, but now he was one filled with emotions, seething with anger as he thought of all the things that this friend of yours was doing just to keep you scared enough to stay with him. “What if we do it secretly? We were planning on doing it like that anyway… We just hide from the company and Niko…” He saw the corner of your lips twitch up, although the small glimpse that he had of your smile disappeared just as quickly as it came. “I’m quite happy that I spilled your water on you last week.”
The snort that came from you was unexpected, but you fell back against the couch, your body vibrating with now silent laughter. “Oh I bet you are, I saw you looking.” His cheeks felt red hot and he was sure that you could see the blush on his cheeks now that you were looking right at him. “And I saw you staring at me earlier. I think you just like the view and that’s why you keep spilling my drinks.” You winked at him and even if it was simply teasing on your end, he felt like his heart was going to burst through his chest while his body melted into a puddle of nothing from how hot he was feeling. Not only that, but the more you talked about it, the more the images flashed in his mind, his pants getting tighter and tighter the longer he thought about them.
“I don’t!” He sputtered out, but then he shook his head. “I mean I do! I… They’re nice! Great… I love them… But… I didn’t mean the water thing, not my fault! I’m sorry I was looking and I kind of really want to see them again… Ah! Shut up!” Your laughter twinkled through the room as he sunk into his seat, feeling like an absolute idiot. He talked too much, especially when he was put on the spot like this, but the sound of your laughter was also precious to him considering how upset you were just a moment ago.
Your hand reached out to pat his thigh and he swore the entire lower half of his body burst into flames from your touch alone. His eyes were squeezed shut so you couldn’t see his eyes rolling into the back of his head, and he hoped to everything that you couldn’t see his pants slowly rising higher and higher the longer you touched him. “You’re cute…” You whispered, and he really wished he could see your face right now, but he was too scared to open his eyes in case you were judging him. “I don’t do that kind of stuff on the first date though.” Your hand slowly slid up his thigh and he was gritting his teeth together to keep from letting out any of the ungodly sounds that were building in his throat, but all you did was squeeze the top of his thigh lightly before pulling your hand away.
“What do you do?” He asked, immediately regretting the question. It sounded so rude, so condescending, and while he was too scared to look at you earlier, he felt like he needed to see you now, just to be sure you weren’t angry at him. The smile on your face was beautiful, your head was tilted to the side, and it looked like you were actually thinking, but a part of him felt like you were just pretending based solely on the way that you seemed to enjoy teasing him.
You hummed softly, tapping your chin lightly before letting your hands drop down onto your lap. “I don’t mind a kiss.” You answered, and you sounded so sweet but your eyes contradicted the innocent tone that your words carried. Was he going to actually kiss you? He wanted to, he really did, but what would that mean if he did? It was only one kiss, right? “I’m joking, Kwannie… You don’t have to. How about I order us a-”
It was a spur of the moment thing honestly. He didn’t want you to change your mind, and he didn’t want you to think that he didn’t want to, and he practically pounced on top of you in his effort to move across the couch quick enough to stop you before you got up. His lips crashed against yours, and he didn’t really know the definition of a kiss. Did it mean a peck, or however long two people could keep their lips together before pulling back for air?
He wasn’t this kind of person, not usually, not at all really… But you brought out something in him that made him act this way, and he didn’t have a problem with it, he actually enjoyed the rush of adrenaline that coursed through him at the thought of something like this going on without anyone else knowing. The thrill of keeping something like this a secret was exciting, and he hoped that you felt the same way too, he didn’t want it to end so soon.
You didn’t try to push him off, a soft gasp escaped you once his body landed on top of yours, and the compromising position that the two of you were now in only made it harder for him to control the growing problem that was getting harder to conceal in his pants. It took all of two seconds for you to relax beneath him though, your lips moving in rhythm against each other as your fingers snaked themselves into his hair. His own hands worked to keep himself up, but he soon got lost in the moment, allowing his body to drop against yours.
A quiet moan escaped you and your hips jerked up instinctively at the feeling of him against you. The sound only had him pushing further against you though, wanting to elicit the same sound from you, wanting to hear it over and over and over again, the vibration of your whimpers against his lips egging him on, but the moment was short lived as his phone vibrated in his back pocket. “Shit…” He cursed, pulling away from you and taking a short second to admire how bruised and puffy your lips were, how absolutely stunning you looked lying beneath him, your eyes now wide with shock and the bun that had been sitting on your head falling apart, loose strands of hair falling around your face.
“I… I’m so sorry… I…” You stammered, quickly collecting yourself and getting up from the sofa, situating your hoodie before collecting the cups off the table to go into the kitchen. You were apologizing again for something that he had started, and now that his mind wasn’t clouded with lust, he was brought back to the main issue at hand. Were you that way because of your ex? But now there were even bigger problems. Did you still want to see him again? Had he overstepped his boundaries?
“No, no, it’s my fault… I… Do you want me to go?” He asked, his hand hovering over his pocket where his phone had finally ceased vibrating, his eyes filled with hope, but his heart and his brain were finally on the same page in assuming that he’d probably get kicked out right then and there.
“Do… Do you want to go?” Of course he didn’t, not after that especially. It would feel wrong to just leave after what had happened, and while most people would say it wasn’t much, it felt like a lot to him. “You can if you want… I got carried away and… I’m so sorry…” You continued apologizing and all he could do was shake his head, his own lips puffy and red, slightly parted as he continued staring at you.
You were standing at the kitchen sink, the water running as you rinsed the two cups, and he wondered if you were doing it just to keep yourself from having to see him walk out, something that he didn’t plan on doing anyway. Instead, he made his way over to you, wrapping his arms around your waist as he rested his chin on your shoulder, kissing your cheek softly before nuzzling his nose into the crook of your neck. “I don’t want to go….” He whispered, letting himself rest lazily against your shoulder as he absentmindedly swayed both of your bodies back and forth.
He didn’t know what this was, he didn’t know what it would be. It felt like things were moving fast, maybe a little too fast, but he didn’t have you for long. Even if things worked out perfectly, he’d only have you for three months, and if anyone ever found out, it would be shorter than that. The time he had with you wasn’t long and he wanted to make the most of it while you were here with him.

Did Seungkwan really want to talk to you today at work? The answer was a definite no, and it wasn’t because he didn’t enjoy conversing with other people, he actually enjoyed it a lot, it’s just that the thought of you gave him migraines, not because of you in particular, just the incessant pestering of the guys had essentially painted you in a bad image. It’s not actually your fault, he knows that, it was just a bad case of… Kwon Soonyoung.
To be quite honest, he had gone to your page thanks to the help of Hoshi’s follower list and then went through your friend Tillys twitter to find you, and he couldn’t deny that you were cute… And you seemed sweet, although that was just based off of your feed and there were a lot of people that lied on their social media to get a persona across that wasn’t truly their own. You really seemed to love your friends, that much was noticeable, and whoever they were, they really seemed to miss you.
The way that he dug into everything about you the entire night leading up to this morning almost seemed stalkerish and creepy, hence why he made himself stop around 3 in the morning. He didn’t want to give himself too many talking points, it would give away the fact that he had stalked your twitter, but he didn’t want to jump into a conversation with nothing at all, it would only lead to awkward silence and he hated that. Nothing on your page actually gave away that he was your bias either, Hoshi was just going off of the comments that your friend had left on a couple updates, and while it wouldn’t exactly break his spirit if he wasn’t your bias, it would be quite embarrassing to be going through this much work for someone who didn’t actually ult him.
Morning was only made worse by the sudden revelation that Minghao was your bias wrecker, so he had that to worry about on top of everything else. Just to set the record straight though, he wasn’t jealous, not at all, he just found it odd that they were both your biases when they were two completely different people. Maybe you had a different fav for different days, it didn’t make much sense to him, but if that’s how it worked he didn’t really have much to say about it. He’d just make sure not to bring up Minghao or avoid any mention of him at all.
The teasing on the way to work was ruthless, especially from Hoshi who didn’t seem to care for how annoyed he was getting. There were so many questions and “tips” if Seungkwan could really call them that. It’s not like he didn’t know how to talk to people at all, it’s just that this was someone who apparently liked him so it made things just a little harder. The worst part was that he couldn’t even block out the noise that was Hoshis voice because when he put his headphones in, Hoshi would just text him instead, babbling on about how he should approach you and what he should say first. Obviously it was a simple hello, that’s the best way to greet someone and it leaves it open for you to either reciprocate the conversation or tell him you have to go.
It was still early, and most of the employees didn’t come in until much later. It gave the guys time to practice, warm up, get something to eat, you name it, before actually having to start their day. Usually that’s what Seungkwan would use this time for as well, he was usually so work oriented, but now his mind was in a jumble, a twist, going haywire at the thought of actually talking to you. Again, he wasn’t scared, but there was also a lot at stake when it came to conversing or getting close to other employees. There was a policy that was to be strictly followed by the artists, and one wrong move could mean a lot of bad repercussions, not just for himself, but for you too.
He would have to go about this carefully, make sure that things went smoothly, but not too smooth either. It drove him nuts, and he was beginning to question his own sanity for even thinking about going through with this. He didn’t have to, just because the guys told him he should didn’t mean that he would. Only a fool would give in to what they wanted, and he was sure they only wanted him to do it so that they could meet you too, he was just an easy way in. Then again, if he didn’t do it, they’d put Minghao up to it, and even with Seungkwans temperament, it would probably be way easier to talk to him than the other guy… right? This wasn’t about himself, he just wanted to make things easier, less awkward for you… That’s what this was. He had no reason to feel jealousy over one of his other members, he didn’t even know you, he had never seen you in person, he had never talked to you… There was no jealousy here, he just wanted to be friendly, that’s all.
Morning rolled by and for a moment, a couple hours, he was able to forget about the task of talking to you and actually meeting you. It wasn’t important at the time with all the practicing he had to do, and with the sweat dripping down his forehead and his shirt darkened and wet along his back and his chest from the strenuous dances he had to do, you were the last thing on his mind. He didn’t want anyone to see him this way, at least not anyone that he had never seen before.
That’s why when lunch time came around, he was in a hurry to get to the cafeteria and then right back up to the practice room where he could enjoy his iced americano in peace without the other guys around. Sadly, Hoshi and the rest of the guys from the groupchat decided to tag along with him, the realization of why only hitting him when Joshuas hand forcefully pushed him into the unsuspecting woman that was walking down the hallway holding a stack of papers under her arm and her own drink in her other hand.
“Aish… sorry!” She squealed as the water dripped down the front of her white button up shirt, the liquid causing the material to become see through and Seungkwan had to quickly avert his eyes from the outline of the lacy white bra that she was wearing. “I wasn’t watching where I was going, I’m so sorry!” She rambled, moving the file up to cover herself as she kept her eyes downcast.
She was apologizing for something that she didn’t even do, which seemed silly, but that thought was quickly overshadowed by the fact that he now understood why he was pushed into her in the first place. She wasn’t just some random employee walking down the corridor, no, this was Y/N… She was you. “No, no I’m sorry, I’m clumsy, I tripped over my feet.” Seungkwan quickly took the blame, making a mental note to reem Joshua for what he had just caused. It’s one thing to want him to talk to you, it’s a whole ‘nother thing to potentially hurt the both of you in the process. “A-Are you alright?”
His eyes flickered between your face and the drops of water that were still trickling down the front of your shirt, leaving a trail of what looked like bare skin in their path. “Yeah… Yeah I’m okay. A little water never hurt anything…” You answered quietly, finally looking up at him and he was left speechless by just how beautiful you really were. Wrong… No that’s wrong. Company policy was put into place to protect the artists and the employees, he would not be caught breaking one of the rules, it wasn’t him, he loves his job too much. But then again, he sight of your bra was now permanently ingrained in his mind, as wrong as it seems, and he can’t seem to shake the thought of it.
“Well… what’s your name, I can bring you back another drink since I ruined yours.” He asked, although he already knew your name, he knew it very well, and he had even tested out the way it felt on his tongue, the way it sounded when it left his lips, but he couldn’t just let on that he knew it. That would be strange, that would put you off. You murmured your name softly, a small smile gracing your already gorgeous features as you said it. “Y/N…” He repeated back to you, and you nodded your head.
“You don’t have to bring me another drink though, I’ll be fine. Thank you though.” You said quickly, straightening up and looking around, and that’s when Seungkwan noticed that there were other employees walking by, eyeing you suspiciously as you conversed with him. “It’s been great meeting you, I’m sorry for bumping into you, thank you.” You bowed your head to him before walking off quickly, and he was left standing in the middle of the hallway alone.
You must have read the rules as well, it was the only reason for you to have reacted that way at the sight of other employees, and while he was a massive fan of following the rules, he didn’t know why a couple couldn’t be… broken, or maybe tweaked just a little. Talking to someone else in the workplace wasn’t a bad thing, it shouldn’t be looked at as a bad thing either, it’s not like the two of you are actually doing anything wrong, although the image of your bra was flashing in his mind on and off, and his own workmanship was being questioned by himself. He wouldn’t mind seeing it again, seeing you again… It’s not really breaking the rules if no one knows… Is it?

“I like coming over after work though.” He replied simply, pulling you down next to him on the bench and draping his arm over your shoulder as you rested your head against him. “You leave in two months, I want to spend as much time with you as I can, you know that.” He had explained to you his reasons behind staying with you almost every night, he told you his reasons multiple times, and while you felt the same way, you couldn’t help but worry that maybe he was pushing the rules a little too much, pushing his luck.
“Do all the guys know already?” You asked, drumming your fingers on your lap as you waited for the answer that you felt like you already knew. Of course Hoshi knew, and so did Joshua considering he was the one that had pushed Seungkwan into you in the first place. Jeonghan seemed like he knew based on the looks that he’d give you in the halls at work, and Dino was the same way. The others didn’t seem like they knew anything though, and you were sure that they were beginning to question why he was gone all the time.
He sighed softly beneath the black mask that he was wearing, the action causing his sunglasses to fog up. “They’ll know when it’s necessary…” He whispered, giving your shoulder a light squeeze as you nodded your head slowly before lifting it from his chest. “I’m doing it this way because it’s best for us, you know that.” He quickly defended, the emptiness that he felt against him from your withdrawal had him scared that you’d pull away more. “If the other guys were to know they’d start talking, and they’d ask questions, and I already feel like too many people know and it’s hard enough to keep them quiet. I just want to enjoy us a little longer.”
It’s not that you didn’t understand, it was quite the contrary actually. You understood full well what it meant to keep whatever it was that you and Seungkwan had going on a secret, the both of you were under the same contract, although yours held higher implications if you were to go against the rules in any way. Of course, you decided to go against one of the biggest rules, the one that might as well have been highlighted with a fluorescent yellow marker and then underlined numerous times with a thick red sharpie and then finished off with a massive star beside it just to emphasize the importance of the rule. “You can’t date any other employees or one of the idols” In layman's terms, and yet, here you were. Then again, to be fair, you and Seungkwan weren’t actually dating, you were casually seeing each other and you were quite sure that you were falling more and more in love with him every single time you did see him, but that was a topic for another day.
“You don’t have to tell them if you don’t want to, I just don’t want them to get worried and start looking for you.” You said, and he pressed a masked kiss to your temple before pulling you against his side once more, his fingers finding themselves in your hair, playing with a loose strand that had fallen from the ponytail you were wearing it in. “Or worse yet, they’d send someone else to come look for you… That would suck… Especially if you were found in my place. I’d be sent home immediately.” You giggled softly, but there was no humor in the prospect of the words. You didn’t want to be sent home anytime soon, not when Niko was being the way he was, and you already had enough worries on your plate concerning the people that you loved on the other side of the world right now.
“The ones who do know have been helping me out with that…” He murmured, his thumb brushing along your cheek before his fingers slipped under your chin to tilt your head up to look at him, his eyes looking down at you over the rims of the sunglasses. “And I’m not going to hide you all three months, I just need to ease them all into the idea of what’s going on right now.” His eyes crinkled in the corners from the smile that he was clearly wearing underneath the mask and you felt yourself relax slightly against his chest. “Where the fuck is the bus at?! Do you really wait this long every day? I won’t allow it, I won’t stand for it, this is preposterous.”
The apartment had slowly but surely become just as much Seungkwans home as it was yours, his ability to subtly bring over more and more clothes every time he stayed with you was top notch and nobody seemed to notice. The fact that he brought a duffle bag with him to work everyday under the guise of needing to change after practice made it even easier for him to pack more clothes that would inevitably end up in your closet.
You’d fiend annoyance at the dwindling amount of closet space, but truthfully, you loved it. You loved opening the doors and seeing his clothes hanging there, a sense of domesticity in the sight that filled you with warmth, your body heating to feverish temperatures the longer you thought about it. “Do you want to shower first or…?” You asked, slipping off your purse and hanging it on the small hook on the wall before heading into the kitchen, relishing in the sound of his own steps following behind yours before he was leaning against the counter beside you as you poured yourself a drink.
“You can go first, I’ll start dinner?” He suggested, grabbing your cup after you had finished sipping from it and taking a drink. “Did you want to cook tonight or did you want to order in? It doesn’t really matter to me, whatever you want to do is fine.”
“No, no, you can go first. You had dance practice today, you were like… super sweaty and I know that if you don’t shower now you won’t want to do it later and I don’t want my sheets smelling like a foot tonight.” His eyebrows shot up at the teasing remark and he quickly placed the cup down to grab your arms, pulling you closer to him before pinning you between him and the counter.
“You think I smell like a foot after practice?!” He screeched, his eyes widened and a look of disgust on his face at the thought of the smell. “You never told me this before! You let me walk around the office smelling like that and you didn’t think to say anything?!”
Shrugging your shoulders, you gave him a little smirk before pecking his lips swiftly. “I’d have a whole lot more competition if you smelled like a bed of roses, wouldn’t I?” You tittered, gently pushing him back, his body moving willingly as the look of defensive disgust washed away, replaced by a cocky grin that you rolled your eyes at.
“I’ll remember that.” You had been expecting a speech, but he ended it there, motioning his thumb behind him towards the bathroom door across from your bedroom. “I’ll go first, but don’t complain when there’s no hot water left for you.” He snickered, and you playfully swatted your hand at the air where he had just been standing, earning yourself a louder chuckle from him. “Oh, you love me so much!” He taunted as he walked backward to the bathroom.
“I’m not saying it till you do!” You retorted, sticking your tongue out at him before going to the fridge to get the stuff out for dinner, the wide smile on your face seemed stuck there as the moment played over and over in your mind. It would probably seem immature and childish to anyone who looked in, but you loved moments like those, moments like these where things were simple, domestic, like a normal relationship should be. It allowed the both of you to forget about the contractual rules that were being held over your heads, because in the safety of your apartment, no one knew that the rules were being broken, and no one would ever know, not until they had to.
Sometimes it was easy to forget that he was in your apartment, especially since he was so quiet when you weren’t around him. Your shower had been put off until after he and you finished dinner and cleaned up, and he shortly after retired to the bedroom. It was a Thursday night which meant that the both of you still needed to be up early for work the next morning, and he gave you a quick kiss to the forehead before heading into the room, already apologizing beforehand just in case he fell asleep before you got out of the shower.
You allowed yourself extra time under the steaming flow of water, relaxing completely as the warmth enveloped you. It was the only time you could really be free of any worries, letting the falling drops wash them away before spiraling down the drain. You used the time to clear your mind, your thoughts empty only to be filled by the dreams that your mind would come up with once your head hit the pillow on your bed.
It was this process of clearing your mind that had you turning off the shower and wrapping a towel around yourself, not a care in the world as you lazily flicked off the lights in the hallway and made your way into your bedroom that was just as dark as the rest of your apartment, not bothering to change into anything at all as you climbed into your bed and pulled the covers up around you.
An arm snaked around your waist, pulling you against the warmth of the body behind you, the feeling of it causing you to freeze, but the hand froze as well as it felt the nakedness of your body beneath it. “Are you not cold?” Seungkwan whispered, although the pitch of his voice was much higher now, most certainly from the awkwardness he was feeling.
“N-No…” You stammered, pulling the blankets up higher over you, embarrassment coursing through your body like a freight train causing your skin to feel like it was burning. “I’m sorry… I was so tired…” You apologized, scooting further away from him until you were practically hanging over the edge of the bed, and he allowed you to move because he didn’t want you to feel any more uncomfortable than you already seemed to be.
“Do you want me to sleep on the couch?” He asked, letting his hand drop onto the bed between the two of you. “You don’t have to apologize though… I-I get it…” You could feel his hesitance, one of his legs already hanging over the edge of the bed if you told him to go, but you quickly shook your head, humming out a sound of disagreement. “I can put a pillow… Between I mean… So it won’t be weird…” He said quickly, and you snorted quietly with amusement as you finally rolled over to face him, his features barely visible in the cloud covered moonlight that shined through the blinds.
All feeling of tiredness was gone by this point, a new feeling overcoming you, your senses becoming heightened to the point where you could feel the heat radiating off of him underneath the blankets. “Do you think it’s weird?” You asked, chewing nervously on your bottom lip as you tried to make out what he was doing, what his expression was, but the darkness made it impossible, so you needed to hear it from him.
“Not at all.” He said quickly, and you could tell that his eyes had been closed for a while because now you could see the faint light reflect off the whites of his eyes as he seemed to glance over at you. “Do you?” You quickly shook your head, hoping that he could see it as you scooted closer to him and you could hear his breath hitch in his throat from the sudden closeness. “Am I still allowed to hold onto you… while we sleep… I mean…” He asked shyly, and you hummed a soft yes, rolling over so your back was against his before situating his arm around you.
He was only wearing a t-shirt and loose fitting basketball shorts which allowed you to feel just how hard he was when you were pulled flush against him, his breaths shallow as he tried to hide his face in the crook of your neck. “We can… if you want…” You whispered, the butterflies wreaking havoc in your stomach at the insinuation of your words.
His thumb had been rubbing circles into your side, a habitual movement that he always did when his thoughts were occupied but something far away, but the movement stopped as he pulled away, the sudden lack of touch had your heart sinking, the butterflies dying at once and pulling your stomach down with their weight from the feeling of rejection. “Really? Are you sure?!”
He was suddenly on top of you, his nose nuzzling along your jaw as he waited for your 100% consent, although his hips were already rutting against you with excitement. “Mmhm!” You nodded your head, your fingers trailing up his back before finding his hair, allowing them to get tangled in his locks to pull him closer to you, your lips brushing against his in a soft kiss.
You could tell he was nervous, his lips trembling against yours as one of his hands gradually moved down the length of your body, along the outside of your thighs before moving between them, his fingers brushing along your folds between slipping one of his digits between them, his cock twitching in his shorts from the sound of your moan. “You’re so wet already…” He mused, circling the tip of his finger slowly around your clit, adoring the way your body reacted to his touch.
“I just got out of the shower…” You teased through shaky breaths as your hips bucked up against his hand, craving more of his touch, wanting to feel more of him.
He hummed softly, his fingers trailing down to your hole that clenched tightly around nothing, anticipating their entrance. “You’ve been out of the shower for a while now…” He retorted before pressing his lips back against yours just as one of his fingers entered you.
“Shut up…” You mumbled against his lips, but he snickered lowly as his finger started to pump faster eliciting a sharp gasp from you, your lips parted, allowing him to slip his tongue into your mouth, tangling it with your own.
With your heightened senses from the darkness of the room, you could hear everything. Your shaky breaths, the crinkling of the sheets beneath you and Seungkwan as he continued rutting his hips against the mattress to find friction while he pleasured you. The low squeaking of your bed frame when you arched your back as he added another finger, scissoring your hole to prepare you for him.
“Kwannie…” You whimpered when he brushed his thumb across your slit, earning yourself a low hum of satisfaction from him. He reveled in the way you said his name, and he toyed with your sensitive bud even more, wanting to hear it again. “Seungkwan~” You whined, but it sounded like a song, music to his ears as he finally pulled his fingers out, earning himself a pout that he couldn’t see in the dark.
The soft smacking of lips and then a soft chuckle sounded before he said anything, his next words causing your body to feel like it had burst into flames. “You taste amazing, darling.” He murmured, and your legs immediately clenched shut in embarrassment, your hands moving up to cover your face. “You’re so cute… beautiful…” He whispered, his hands running over the expanse of your body, worshipping you the way you should be. “I want you to be mine…”
Slowly lowering your hands, you looked up at the silhouette of him. “I already am…” You whispered, placing your hands on top of his as they ran over your thighs, intertwining your fingers and pulling him closer to you. “I don’t think I could ask the same for you though…”
“Why not?” He questioned, his touches soft as he brushed the tips of his fingers across your cheek. “I’m already yours if you didn’t know…” A hushed sigh left him before pressing a small kiss to the tip of your nose.
“You’re so soft…” You mumbled, tugging playfully at the hem of his t-shirt to keep him close to you.
He scoffed loudly, letting his body drop on top of yours, pressing you down further into the mattress. “Actually I’m pretty hard right now…” He joked, pushing his clothed cock against you so you could feel just how hard he was.
The lighthearted mood of the room was once again gone, overshadowed by the lust that the both of you felt. “Let me help you.” Your hand moved down his chest, moving lower and lower until your fingers rested against his erection. He was thick, you could already tell through the shorts, and he was big. You palmed him slowly, enjoying the way his body seemed to shake from just the lightest touch, and you hadn’t even really touched him yet. Tremors moved through his arms that were trying to hold him up above you, and you could have sworn he hadn’t taken a breath.
Your hands moved away from the painfully strained tent in his shorts to push against his shoulders, causing him to topple over onto the mattress, and you were sure that if you could see him, his eyes would be wide and his jaw would be slacked with confusion. “Wh-What are you doing?” He asked, trying to prop himself up on his elbows, but you positioned yourself between his legs and pushed back against his chest to keep him flat on the bed.
“My mouth couldn’t quite reach you when you were on top of me like that.” You explained nonchalantly, sliding his shirt up enough to pepper kisses along his chest before stopping at the waistband to his shorts, slipping your fingers beneath them and tugging them down.
“Oh… Oh!” His hips jolted up immediately to allow you to get his shorts and boxers down, and his hand reached out to flick on the light on the nightstand table. “Fuck… you’re so pretty…” He whispered when he finally was able to take you in, registering the image to his memory, not wanting to forget it.
You felt naked, and it wasn’t just because you actually were, it was being seen like this by him, being so vulnerable around him, it made you feel bare, and while it made you nervous, even made you a little shy, you loved having his eyes on you, knowing that he only had eyes for you.
A sheen of precum coated his tip and you made quick work of collecting it on your tongue, admiring his vocals as his muscles tensed and his breaths quickened. Your hand was wrapped around his shaft, pumping it slowly as you took the head of his cock between your lips, wanting to hear all of the sounds that he could make. “Shit… Y/N…” He gasped, his hips bucking up into the warmth of your mouth, one of his hands flying to your hair to brush it out of your face, watching you intently as you took him deeper.
He was trying hard not to move too much, not to get carried away or lose control, but the agonizingly slow pace of your mouth almost felt like you were teasing him, trying to see how far you could push him before he took control and fucked into your mouth the way he really wanted to. Your lips slid up, making a soft popping sound as they left him, the string of spit that connected from your lips to his tip had him feeling dizzy as he watched you, your eyes glossy and almost doe like as they looked to him. “Kwannie…?” You whispered, your hand still slowly jerking him, making sure his cock was fully coated in your spit.
God, he adored the way you called for him, and he didn’t waste a beat, grabbing your arms and pulling you up to him before rolling you over on your back and positioning himself between your legs. He teased his cock between your slit, lubricating his tip with the juices that collected there, and in the new light of the room he could really enjoy the beautiful reactions that you had to even the simplest of touches.
He lined himself up with your hole, pushing in slowly, unable to contain his own moan when he felt you stretch around him. Your eyes squeezed shut as your mouth fell open, but the only sound that left you was a quiet gasp. “Are you okay?” He asked, and you nodded your head quickly, whimpering out something that must have been an okay.
He took his time, wanting to feel everything, wanting to retain the feeling of your slick heat swallowing him completely as he pushed deeper and deeper until he bottomed out, a shaky breath leaving him as he let himself fall on top of you, burying his face in your neck. “Are you okay?” Your question caught him off guard, and he slowly lifted his head to look at you, the sweet look of concern in your eyes as they met his own.
“I love you…” Was all he could think to say to let you know that he truly was okay, he was more than okay, and what better moment to tell you than this? He propped himself up on his forearm, his other hand finding yours and slipping his fingers between your own as he began to rock his hips. The shocked look on your face from his sudden confession was overtaken by one of pure pleasure as your head rolled back against your pillow. He really did love you.
He woke up the next morning with the bright light of the sun targeting his eyes through the blinds, and when he rolled over, he was expecting to find you, he wanted to find you, but the bed was empty and the blankets were kicked back as if you had left in a rush. Why was it that his heart ached at the thought of you leaving him? It was a silly thought to have though, it was your apartment, why would you leave?
Then the smell of coffee and bacon filled his nose, and if he thought last night was amazing, it was only made better by the sudden image that filled his mind of sharing breakfast with you the morning after. He rolled out of the bed quickly, checking his phone for the time and letting out a habitual yawn when he saw that it was only 6 in the morning. The both of you had work soon, and he wished that you didn’t, he wanted badly to relive the moments that were shared last night once more.
Pulling on his shorts, he walked into the kitchen, taking a moment to admire the way you looked standing in front of the stove with his t-shirt on. “Good morning, darling.” He murmured, his voice husky from the sleep induced dryness of his throat. You turned around to greet him with a smile, your face the image of pure bliss, your hair lazily thrown up into a bun on top of your head and your lips still swollen from the heated kisses in the bedroom.
“Good morning, Kwannie.” The name sent an immediate reaction to his dick that seemed to jump awake at the sound of it. “Did you want your shirt back? It was on the floor and…” His head was already shaking as he closed the space between the two of you, his hands holding your hips as he kissed you.
“I like it on you way more.” He murmured, his fingers fisting the fabric of the shirt to keep you close to him. “Did you sleep well?” You nodded your head, a sheepish smile forming on your pursed lips, and he could only think of what he had told you, knowing for a fact now that the words hadn’t slipped out in a moment of passion when his brain was fogged and he didn’t know what to say. “I love you.” He said it again, just to make sure you knew it, to make sure you had no doubts about his true feelings.
“And I love you too… Coffee?” You handed him the cup that still had steam billowing from the top and he took it immediately, taking a sip and letting out a hum of delight as the warm liquid coated his throat and filled his empty stomach. “Also…” You raised your hand and he looked at it quizzically before you rolled your eyes and grabbed his wrist, raising his hand for him and then giving him a high five. “Now you don’t have to use the lotion and the tissues back at the dorms anymore.”
He groaned loudly, his head falling back as he dramatically stomped to the table and fell into the chair. “I’m gonna kill him.” He grumbled, but honestly, this is a moment that he’d remember forever. The domesticity of it, the casualness, the way the two of you could joke around this way. It was normalcy, it was love, and while his initial thought was to be with you as much as he could before you had to leave, now he wanted more. “Stay with me… I want to keep you…”

“And you already called the police to help?” Soonyoung asked Tilly, their hands clasped together as they walked down the hall towards the elevator. Of course they called the police, it was the smart thing to do, they were only idols for gods sake and as much as Seungkwan wanted to be the one to personally save you, he knew that he couldn’t. It was far too dangerous, not only for himself, Hoshi, and Tilly, but it would be dangerous for you too. “Did they tell you what we’re supposed to do?”
Seungkwan could barely focus on the conversation that the two were having right in front of him, mainly because his ears were filled with the sound of his own heart beating, the sound of it the equivalent to an amplified bass drum being kicked repeatedly right beside his ears. “They said we should stay behind, at the station… so nothing happens to us in the process.” Those words had Seungkwans ears perking up, but not in a good way, no, what did she mean to stay behind?
Seungkwan could barely focus on the conversation that the two were having right in front of him, mainly because his ears were filled with the sound of his own heart beating, the sound of it the equivalent to an amplified bass drum being kicked repeatedly right beside his ears. “They said we should stay behind, at the station… so nothing happens to us in the process.” Those words had Seungkwans ears perking up, but not in a good way, no, what did she mean to stay behind?
It had been 14 days since he had last seen you, and it had been 11 days, almost 12 since he last heard from you. How in the hell was he supposed to just sit idly by at a police station waiting for you and remain calm at the same time? “I’m not sitting around for them to bring her to me, and if something happens, I want to be there.” He said, the first words he had spoken since leaving the hotel room.
There was a lot of risk in what they were doing, not just for you and themselves in the aspect of Niko, but if they were caught, if someone figured out who they were, there would be a lot of backlash from fans, there was the chance that the whole group could be ruined, and all the blame would fall upon you which wasn’t fair at all. If he was going to risk it all, which he was because you were worth the risk, then he was going to go all in. “What help would you be? It would only get more chaotic if they had to protect you too. We’d be safer at the station.” Hoshi said, for once sounding serious. It was a strange contrast to the way he normally was. “The less people they have to worry about, the quicker you can get her back.”
Tilly nodded her head, of course she’d agree with him. “They’re getting Y/N’s mom too, she’ll sit at the station with us.” Your mom, it was the first sigh of relief he had let out, albeit a small one, but to know that she was okay and she hadn’t fallen victim to your crazy ex boyfriend allowed Seungkwan to breathe a little easier. “She’s gonna need someone to sit with her and keep her calm.”
He scoffed in disbelief, shaking his head as he ran a hand through his hair. “Right, because I’m the dictionary definition of calm right now. How the hell am I supposed to help her?” He loved your mom, he really did, but how was he supposed to calm her down if he couldn’t keep himself calm? “Does she even know what’s going on right now?!”
Tilly pursed her lips, shoving her hands into her pockets as she sheepishly shook her head and he felt like he was going to scream. Nobody had told her?! “Look, I know what you’re thinking, but if we told her before now she’d try to go out there and save Y/N herself. Is that really what you want?” No, it wasn’t, it wasn’t what he wanted at all. He didn’t want anything bad to happen to your mom, which is why he backed down from the argument that hadn’t even begun yet.
He couldn’t even fathom how he was supposed to begin the conversation that was telling your mom that you had basically been kidnapped right in front of her without her knowing about it. It would break her heart and he didn’t want to do that, but he knew that she’d only have more questions if he didn’t tell her everything, at least everything that he knew.
The hardest part was not knowing what was going on while sitting in the station, the police had already been sent out to the location that Tilly had told them and now there was nothing. Waiting was hard, but seeing the way your mom reacted to the horrible truth of what was really going on was much harder. Seungkwan did everything he could to try to console her, to let her know that everything was going to be okay, but the silence from the officers at the scene wasn’t reassuring.
It was past 7 o’clock and the summer sun was just beginning to begin its descent behind the city skyline, painting the sky a tangerine orange and salmon pink. It was the kind of sky that he’d love to walk along the shoreline under, with your hand in his as the foamy ocean waves lapped at your bare feet. “Why didn’t she tell me…?” Your mom asked, her eyes staring blankly forward, they were like glass and he couldn’t stand to look into them.
“She didn’t want you to worry…” Tilly said, squeezing your mom's shoulder and sighing softly. “She loves you enough to not worry you, and she didn’t want you to get involved.” Your mom shook her head, letting it fall into her hands as she sobbed quietly. It broke Seungkwans heart to see it, he knew that the only thing that would make her feel even slightly better was seeing you again, and he was in the same boat as her.
“They’ll probably be bringing her into the station soon to meet up with us, don’t worry.” Hoshi, the voice of hope, ever the optimist spoke up, trying his best to smile at everyone as he rubbed Tillys back. He was the only one who was looking at the dimly lit bright side of things, and the light wasn’t even that bright, not when he was the only one who had some sort of hope.
The crackling of the police scanner sounded through the room, and while it was a natural sound to hear in the room they were in, every single one of them went stiff, staring at each other as they waited to hear what would be said. “Requesting an ambulance to xxxx xxx street, we have a stabbing victim and the perpetrator in custody.”
Tilly was the first one to let out a gasp, pushing herself up out of the chair to run over to the counter where one of the officers was sitting. “What happened there?! The last call you got, what happened?!” She screeched and while the man behind the desk seemed shocked at the sudden screaming, he was well aware of the situation, he had been the one to greet them when they came in, so all he could really do was offer his apologies as was just as unaware as the rest of them.
“That’s my baby… isn’t it? They’re talking about my baby…” Next was your mom who seemed to be in a state of denial as tears flowed from her eyes like a faucet that had been left on. Nobody wanted to say yes, nobody wanted to tell her that it was in fact you, and Seungkwan didn’t want to face the truth either.
Maybe it was the fact that they had waited too long to go save you, or maybe it was because he hadn’t been there to protect you, or maybe… maybe this was the way it was supposed to happen anyway, it wouldn’t have mattered if he were there or not. “What hospital is she going to?” Hoshi got up, calling out to the officer and wrapping his arms around Tilly who was on the verge of crumbling, his hold the only thing keeping her from falling to the floor.
The officer shook his head, quickly calling over the radio to ask before grabbing his keys and motioning for them all to follow. It was probably for the best, none of them were in the right mindset to drive, most of them had tears blurring their eyes and if they tried to navigate a vehicle under their current emotional conditions they’d inevitably land themselves in the same hospital bed that you were in.
Maybe things just seemed worse than they really were because of how crazy everything was right now. Surely you’d be okay, life wasn’t so fucked that it’d take you away from him when he had just gotten the chance to be with you, to fall in love with you and see how happy you made him. Then again, he was only really supposed to have one summer with you, a short three months where he was able to enjoy your company, to enjoy your presence and your touch, your soft kisses and the way you’d look up at him with the sweetest eyes whenever he’d walk past you in the hallways at work. The way you’d smile quickly at him, moving whatever stack of paperwork you had up to cover your mouth, thinking that it would mute your adorable giggle at the fact that this chance meeting in the halls had really been planned out the night before just like every other day. In such a short amount of time you had become a staple in his life, someone that he couldn’t envision a day without because the few days that he did have to go without you had been hell. Maybe true love was real, that love at first sight thing that so many people had sung about that he himself hadn’t quite believed until now, until he met you, was real too.
It didn’t take long to get to the hospital where you were, and Seungkwan was the first one out of the car, one of the benefits of the backseats being filled by Hoshi, Tilly, and your mom, he got to open his own door and run to the hospital entrance while the others had to be let out by the officer. “Y/N Y/L/N!” He shouted out to the unsuspecting lady at the front desk, her eyes wide as she looked up at him, and he probably looked maniacal and crazy with the way his chest rose and fell with heavy breaths, his eyes wide and worry filled.
“Calm down!” Hoshi called in after him, racing over to the desk to try to pull him back, but he struggled against the constricting arms of the older member with weak hits and loud grunts that captured the attention of the other people waiting in the lobby. “You’re making a scene.” Hoshi hissed, shooting an apologetic smile to the lady behind the counter before dragging Seungkwan away. “Do you think acting like this will make her mom feel any better? Calm the hell down.”
Seungkwan glanced over at your mom who was standing with Tilly, watching everything unfold in front of her with tear filled eyes, her hand over her mouth, and Hoshi was right, she didn’t need anymore on her plate than there already was. “Honey…” She whispered, her eyes pulling away from where Seungkwan stood to look over at the door where patients were exiting the emergency room, and that’s when he turned around to see you standing there, looking at all four of them, confusion written across your face.
“You’re the crazy one that was calling for me?” You pointed to Seungkwan with a smile before looking back at the nurse who seemed hesitant to let you go, but your nod let him know that you were okay. “I didn’t expect to see you all here… Why do you all look so upset?” You asked, walking over to them but making a b-line for your mom who looked the biggest wreck of them all, quickly wrapping your arms around her and squeezing her in a tight hug. “Why are you crying? What did they tell you? I’m alright, momma. Look!” You took a step back and held your arms up, a wide smile on your face, but they all could see the bruises and cuts that littered your face and your neck.
“It said on the radio… You got stabbed…” Tilly finally spoke up for your mom who was rendered speechless by your nonchalance at everything that happened. You scoffed and rolled your eyes, holding up your arm that had thick gauze going from your upper arm down to the middle of your forearm. “Did he get you anywhere else?” She whispered, her eyebrows furrowing as she looked you over, and you shrugged, pointing to your upper outer thigh and then your side and Seungkwan could have sworn at that moment he had never felt more rage, only accompanied by the overwhelming need to protect you.
“It was the tiniest knife, it didn’t hit anything important… I’m still walking, breathing, and smiling. I’m totally okay.” You finally turned to Seungkwan who was staring at you in disbelief at your strange optimism, maybe the realization of what had really happened hadn’t kicked in yet and that’s why you were being so calm about it. “You…” You took a deep breath, shaking your head as you let out a small snort. “You’re gonna get in so much trouble for being here… You both are.” You turned to look at Hoshi who had the biggest smile on his face, and Seungkwan was sure that he’d soon hear the I told you so’s from him, but that didn’t matter right now, not when you were standing in front of him.
Closing the space between the both of you, he carefully placed his hands on your hips and pressed his lips against yours, feeling your own lips tug up at the corners. “I’m already in a lot of trouble, but it’s worth it…” He whispered, but it felt almost unbelievable that he was right here with you right now. It felt like it had been months since he had last seen you when it had only been about two weeks. He really was lost without you. “You have to come back with me… I can’t go through this again…”
Humming quietly, you looked between all four of them, seeing the way their eyes looked at you for the response to his request, well… It wasn’t really a request, it was more of a plea. “I can’t…” You whispered, and his face fell, you could see the tears beginning to bead up on his lower lashes as he hands dropped from your sides, but you quickly caught them, slipping your fingers between his. “Not yet at least. There’s a court date, and I need to be there since… well… I’m the one that got stabbed. If I’m not there, they’ll just let him go again and…”
Seungkwan let out a loud sigh of relief, wanting to hug you tightly, to hold you and never let you go, but your wounds wouldn’t allow that, so he just pulled you closer to him and held your hand tightly. “I’ll stay here with you until the court date, I can’t just go back home and leave you behind.”
Tilly finally cleared her throat, catching his and your attention as she motioned to your mom who looked slightly awkward watching the two of you, although you could tell she was trying to look anywhere else. “You and Hoshi are going back to Korea as soon as possible because you both can’t afford to lose your contracts. I’ll stay behind with Y/N and her mom.” Hoshi was already shaking his head, adamant about taking Tilly home with him, his mouth opening to speak, but she already placed a finger against his lips to silence him. “No complaining.”
You nodded to Tilly before looking back at Seungkwan. “I still haven’t met the other guys yet, and I’m sure they’re not my biggest fan considering what you’ve done. If you lose your contract because of me, they’ll surely hate me. I’ll be back as soon as the court date is over.” You pressed a quick kiss to his nose before looking around, pursing your lips and stifling a giggle. “We should probably leave the hospital right now, it won’t take long for people to figure out who you both are and I’m sure the last thing you both need right now is the press to release pictures of all of this. Plus, I don’t want to be here any longer, I just want to spend as much time with you before you go back…”
The words were his spoken feelings that he had back in Korea, the first time he had gone over to your apartment to see you. The roles were reversed now, and he’d be the one leaving you behind, and he didn’t really have a choice. His heart ached and the time seemed to speed up at that second despite the fact that he wanted nothing more than for it to slow down. Is this how you had felt when you were with him? He knew you’d come back to him though, and when you did, there was nothing and no one that would take you away. You’d stay with him forever, you’d be his and he’d be yours.
