Mikoto: Where has everyone gone to? It's not like Azura to run off like that... I hope Corrin or Camilla is with her...
Corrin: Mother!
Mikoto: Oh?
Corrin: So it is true! (Y/n) told me you had been summoned this morning... I had to see you with my own eyes. I can still hardly believe it!
Mikoto: Corrin... My son. I am so happy to see you. Come closer, please... Let me look at you. Hehe, you seem well. Is this fine young man really the little baby I used to carry in my arms?
Corrin: Haha, well... I did grow up a bit since then.
Mikoto: You look taller than all your siblings... Except Ryoma. You're still growing, are you not? Maybe you will end up outgrowing him as well.
Corrin: Heh, I really don't think so... It's so good to see you again, Mother. I never thought I would be given another chance to talk to you like this... I expected this new year to have surprises for me, but I wasn't expecting this!
Mikoto: It is a surprise for me as well. A wonderful one.
Mikoto: Ah.
Corrin: Mother?
Mikoto: My apologies, my dear... Would you mind if we resume this conversation later? Truth be told, I do not know where Azura – the little one – is and I am a bit worried.
Corrin: I see. Would you like me to help you look for her?
Mikoto: Hehe... A fine and kind young man.
Corrin: *blushing* Mother...
Mikoto: *giggling* My apologies, I could not help myself. Shall we look for Azura together then?
Corrin: Yes, Mother. Lead the way.
[Mikoto walks away with a warm, happy smile.]
Corrin: ...How odd. I thought she would comment on my kimono... Did she not recognize it?
[Mikoto and Corrin have reached support rank C.]
B-SUPPORT
Corrin: Mother...
Mikoto: Ah, Corrin. I'm so happy to see you again.
Corrin: We need to talk.
Mikoto: Do we? You seem quite displeased... What troubles you?
Corrin: What troubles me is I have spoken to the Summoner. You're not the real Queen Mikoto, are you? You're not my mother.
[Mikoto's expression freezes. After a fleeting moment, she regains her composure, her mouth downturned in a slight frown.]
Mikoto: ...I see. What gave me away?
Corrin: You did not comment on my kimono, nor have you reacted to it at all. I found that peculiar... since my siblings told me Mother had made it for me.
Mikoto: ...Of course, I could not know that...
Corrin: No, you couldn't. Because you are but a tangible dream created by Loki in her attempt to deceive this young Azura we rescued. It was too good to be true... I should have known.
Mikoto: Corrin...
Corrin: I do not blame you... much. But I am admittedly upset that you did not tell me right away you were not who I thought you were. A little bit of honesty would have spared us both this predicament.
Mikoto: It is true I am not your real mother... But I was made to bear the same love for you as her.
Corrin: What?
Mikoto: Please hear me out. From the day you were born till her last breath, Queen Mikoto loved you with all her heart. Ryoma, Hinoka, Takumi, Sakura, Azura, you... She loved you all so, so much. I may be a fake, and my feelings may have been fabricated, but I don't love you any less than she did.
Corrin: That... is enough. I can not allow myself to be fooled by a mere dream, even if that dream has my mother's face and voice. Please, leave me be.
Mikoto: Corrin, please, I beg of your kindness. Listen to what I have to say. If not for me, then for the real Queen Mikoto. I promise you will never have to see me again once I am done...
Corrin: ...How unfair of you to look at me with my mother's sad eyes. What chance do I stand?... Very well. Speak up.
Mikoto: Thank you.
Mikoto: Queen Mikoto... felt so alone without you... she might as well have been standing at the bottom of the sea. And she resented herself immensely for feeling such loneliness, knowing she still had your siblings at her side... But you always had a special place in her heart. Do not ever think that you never occured to her, for you were the one thing constantly on her mind. With you gone, going on as normal – getting up, getting dressed, working, holding a conversation – felt like the most impossible task in the world. Sometimes, she had imaginary conversations with you while cleaning up your bedroom... And she still felt a jolt when hearing your name, even though she knew it was someone else called the same. She never let go, ever. She loved you dearly, from the day she first saw you to the moment she ceased to be.
Corrin: ...
Mikoto: That is all I wished to say. As promised, I will leave you be now. Thank you. I am so glad I could spend some time with you.
Corrin: I...
Mikoto: It's alright, Corrin. Do not feel bad. I truly am glad... Goodbye. Please take care.
[Mikoto leaves.]
Corrin: ...

A-SUPPORT
Corrin: Mother... May I have a word with you?
Mikoto: C-Corrin?
Corrin: M-my apologies, have I startled you? I thought you had seen me approaching.
Mikoto: I did, but... I thought you wished to never speak to me again.
Corrin: I did say that, didn't I? Yet after due thinking, I've decided we should talk more. If you agree, that is.
Mikoto: Corrin... You are far too kind. I have deluded you into thinking that I was the real Mikoto, even though I knew you were bound to learn the truth and suffer from my lie sooner or later, and yet you still wish to indulge me?
Corrin: It's not about that. In fact, this has nothing to do with kindness.
Mikoto: Really?
Corrin: As much as I'd like to be mature and level-headed enough to keep my distances, you are still the closest thing to my mother I'll ever get. Although an illusion, you are my only chance to... get some sort of closure. Heh... Selfish, isn't it?
Mikoto: Corrin...
Corrin: When she died, something inside all my siblings just... broke. That's the only way I could describe it. And now she is gone and she's never coming back... because of me. How I wish I could undo it... Stand in the middle of the plaza again and be smarter, more careful, find a way to dispose of Ganglari, turn into a dragon sooner and protect her...
Mikoto: Corrin... At some point, you have to stop with these 'what if's. You know it, don't you? If 'what if' scenari could change something, anything, it would be wonderful. But it is not possible... It is not.
Corrin: I-I know... I know. I guess now I have to accept it once and for all.
[Mikoto emits a gentle laugh, testing the waters.]
Mikoto: That could be your New Year's resolution.
[Corrin chuckles in return.]
Corrin: I shall add it on my list... But before that, there is something else I wished to ask.
Mikoto: Yes?
Corrin: The things you said last time... about my mother feeling lonely and depressed without me. How do you know?
Mikoto: I do not. But I know my love for you and your siblings was made to match hers. Even if I am but an illusion... if something were to happen to any of you, I...
Corrin: ...I believe you. It's just... If it weren't for me, Mother would still be alive and well. After what happened to her, it's hard to imagine she would still love me. Heh, sometimes I imagine encountering her angry, resentful ghost.
[Mikoto goes quiet for a moment, poundering what Corrin just said, carefully thinking about what she should reply. She then proceeds to speak slowly.]
Mikoto: If someone dies shielding you with their body, because of a mistake you made, and they still use their last seconds to worry about your safety and smile... believe me, they really don't resent you.
Corrin: I wonder... Mother, Elise, Azura... People seem to always force a smile for my sake when they die.
Mikoto: And don't you think it is proof that they truly love you?
Corrin: ...I think it is. I can't imagine what else it could mean... Heh. Thank you, Dream Mother.
Mikoto: D-Dream Mother...?
Corrin: As I said, you may not be my real mother, but you are the closest thing I could ever hope to get. Ah, I'm sorry, it sounds so selfish... What I meant to say is, I would... enjoy spending time with you occasionally. You're not responsible for the form Loki gave you and you are a good person, so I'd be delighted to chat with you whenever you have time to spare. If that's okay with you, that is.
Mikoto: Oh, Corrin... Yes. I would love that very much. Would right now... be alright?
Corrin: Right now is good. Shall we go for a walk then?
Mikoto: Yes. I'm so glad...

Summoner/M!Corrin (Adrift) C-S Support
Written by @shauni-will-never-write
C SUPPORT
(y/n): Uh... How late is it? It's pitch black outside... Unbelievable, at my age... I'm just gonna drink some water and go back to bed...
(y/n): Um? Is someone there?
Corrin: Hello, Summoner.
(y/n): Corrin? What are you doing in the kitchen at this hour?
Corrin: I was getting a glass of cherry juice for Azura. She had a nightmare and woke up suddenly, so I thought it'd help her fall asleep again faster.
(y/n): A nightmare, huh? Sounds like she and I can create a club or something...
Corrin: Did you have a bad dream as well?
(y/n): I, ah... Yes. Hadn't had one in a long time, so it caught me off-guard. I'm not one to get scared by my own nightmares but... have to admit this one was pretty bad. I was gonna get some water.
Corrin: I see... Wouldn't you rather have some cherry juice?
(y/n): Huh, sure... Is it better?
Corrin: Indeed. Cherry juice has sleep-inducing properties.
(y/n): Really? Like milk? I had no idea. Well, the more you know, I guess.
Corrin: Haha. Glad I taught you something. Here you go, Summoner.
[Corrin offers them a glass of cherry juice.]
(y/n): Thank you. I haven't drank it yet and I already feel better.
Corrin: Don't mention it. If I may ask, would you like to tell me about your nightmare? It's fine if you don't wish to, but sometimes talking about it makes it easier to forget.
(y/n): Oh, well... Don't you have to go back to Azura?
Corrin: Mother is with her. More than cherry juice, she needs to be comforted. So I can spare you five minutes.
(y/n): Thank you, Corrin. It's really kind of you. But I wouldn't want little Azura to wait for you longer than necessary if she's not feeling well. Besides, I'm a strong independent summoner!...that you just made addicted to cherry juice. Wow, it's delicious.
Corrin *laughs a little*: You can have more, if you wish. I'll take my leave then... Perhaps you can tell me more about this nightmare tomorrow?
(y/n): Sure. Nightmares aren't as scary in broad daylight.
Corrin: Very well. Good night, Summoner. Sleep well.
(y/n): You too, Corrin.
[(y/n) and Corrin have reached support rank C.]
B SUPPORT
Corrin: Summoner? I hope I'm not disturbing.
(y/n): Oh, Corrin, good morning! Not at all, I was just working on new skill sets. Did you need something?
Corrin: I have come to discuss the nightmare you had last night, as promised. If you do not mind taking a break, that is.
(y/n): Really? Thank you, Corrin, I appreciate the attention. Um... to be honest, I don't remember much of my nightmare. I wouldn't even be sure it was one if it weren't for this bad feeling I had when I woke up...
Corrin: A bad feeling? Could you be more precise?
(y/n): A sense of dread and helplessness, like I've only felt facing Surtr. Something terrible happened, I'm sure of that... but by the time I had fully woken up, I had already forgotten almost everything. Curious, isn't it?
Corrin: Mh... What do you remember?
(y/n): Sharena... Sharena was there, crying. She seemed so distressed, so desperate... In the real world, I have never seen her nearly as distraught. Somehow, I didn't even think her face could look like that... It felt like the whole world was ending.
Corrin: I think I understand why you woke up in the dead of the night and felt the need to get up and clear your thoughts now. That sounds dreadful.
(y/n): It was. But that's not all... It almost felt... important, somehow. Like... a warning.
Corrin: A warning? A prophetic dream then?
(y/n): To be frank, I'm not sure I even believe in these things, let alone that I, of all people, could have such an ability. But... for some reason, that dream seemed way too real to be a mere dream.
Corrin: ...
(y/n): Um, Corrin? Sorry if I'm bothering you with my rambling.
Corrin: Not at all. It's just... No, nevermind.
Corrin: If your dream is but a dream, then it will be for the best. If it really is the future that came to you in disguise... everyone shall stand warned and ready at your side.
(y/n): Hope for the best but prepare for the worst, huh? You're right. I should go and tell Alfonse and the others about this dream.
Corrin: And I should take my leave now and let you do that in peace.
(y/n): Alright! I'll see you later then. Thanks for listening.
Corrin: Don't mention it.
[Corrin leaves.]
(y/n): ...I wonder what he was about to say earlier. Is it just me or did he look upset?
[(y/n) and Corrin have reached support rank B.]
A SUPPORT
Corrin: ...Is that you, Summoner?
(y/n): Oh, Corrin! We sure seem to like meeting in the kitchen at night.
Corrin: You appear to be looking for something.
(y/n): Well... Since you've asked... Got any cherry juice left? It really helped me sleep last time, so I was hoping I could drink some again.
Corrin: Oh. Try checking the bottom shelf on your right, behind the parsley.
(y/n): Behind the- Here it is! What is it doing there?
Corrin: The Order of Heroes happens to have a very sugar-obsessed thief in its ranks. So I hid it where he'd never find it: among vegetables.
(y/n): Pfft! That's genius. Gaius wouldn't touch parsley with a ten foot pole.
Corrin: That's what I thougth... So, why are you not asleep in your bed?
(y/n): Had that nightmare again. It's the first time I dream the same thing twice... so I guess it must mean something.
Corrin: Could you make something else out of it?
(y/n): I'm not sure... Maybe? I... I think someone may have... died. Alfonse was standing by them. But I couldn't tell who it was...
Corrin: ...What if it's really a prophetic dream? What then?
(y/n): I... I don't know. We defeated Surtr, and now something else is coming? Urgh, give me a break...
Corrin: ...
(y/n): ...We'll just have to be ready, I guess. We won't know until it hits us.
Corrin: That means Azura is in danger too. So as long as I'll be here, I'll do my utmost best to help you.
(y/n): As long you as you'll be here? What, are you planning to leave or something?
Corrin: Well... Haven't you realized by now? That I'm not... real.
(y/n): ...
Corrin: ...
(y/n): ...I suspected as much. But I'm surprised that you are conscious of it.
Corrin: The realization comes and goes... Most of the time, I don't seem to know it. But at times, I am hit by the feeling that I do not belong to this world. Why don't I bleed? Do I have organs? Are my senses all simulacrum? But... it's... so hard to... cling to that thought... Every time, it immediately tries to escape...
(y/n): ...As if you weren't supposed to know the truth. I guess Loki hadn't planned this.
Corrin: ...
(y/n): Is that why you seemed upset the other day? Did I say something that made you think?
Corrin: Yes... Your nightmare is not just any regular nightmare. If it really is a vision of the future... A dream that is more than a dream... A dream bound to become reality... I guess I'm jealous.
(y/n): Jealous...?
Corrin: Azura is still so young, scared and lost. She still needs support and comfort. That's why Mother, Camilla and I are here... She needs us. And so she is dreaming about us. But when she'll grow as strong and resolved as these adult Azuras you've already met... what do you suppose will become of us?
(y/n): That's... Oh no...
Corrin: That's right. We're only the residents of Azura's dream. So if she were to decide to “wake up” and be strong, she wouldn't need us anymore. We'd go out. Like candles.
(y/n): ...No... you must be real. These are tears... You're crying...
Corrin: And I won't make myself any more real by crying. I'm nothing, therefore there is nothing to cry about.
(y/n): B-but... If you weren't real, you wouldn't be able to cry!
Corrin: Haha... I hope you don't suppose those are real tears?
(y/n): ...
[(y/n) and Corrin have reached support rank A.]
S SUPPORT
Corrin: ...
(y/n): So that's where you were.
Corrin: Ah, Summoner. Is something the matter?
(y/n): I've been looking for you for the past forty minutes! I asked at least ten Heroes and no one knew where you had gone... Please never do that again. I thought that maybe you had...
Corrin: Gone out like a candle?
(y/n): …
(y/n): It's rare to see you so far away from Azura. What are you doing out here?
Corrin: Nothing much. Just stargazing. I'm not sure why, but I felt the need to have some alone time.
(y/n): Sorry to disturb you then, but is this a good moment for us to talk? I'd like to continue our previous conversation.
Corrin: This sounds quite urgent. I'm all ears.
(y/n): I was at a loss for words last time... but not anymore. I've thought a lot about what you said... and about what I feel. I love you, Corrin. I don't want you to disappear.
Corrin: …! I... I...
(y/n): Hehe. Don't know how to react? It's okay. I guess Loki hadn't planned that either.
(y/n): In any case, I can't lose you now. To think that you could be gone in an instant... I can't stand it. I won't let that happen.
Corrin: ...If it's too painful, if it's too hard... it's okay to run away. I don't think it's a bad thing. Sometimes, it's just your safest option. But Azura won't run away her whole life... A day will come when she will decide that she is done covering her eyes and ears and that it's time to face her fears. Time to stop dreaming. And then...
(y/n): No! I refuse!
Corrin: (y/n)... Are you running away as well? From reality?
(y/n): Maybe I am... But as you said, it's my safest option. Listen, I won't just accept your death as inexorable. You said you were just a dream... but haven't you started overcoming your nature recently? You realized what you were, even though you weren't supposed to... You think for yourself... And last time, you cried! You cried because you think you're bound to disappear! Corrin, tell me. How can something that is not real be afraid to die? You can't die if you're not alive. And to be alive is to be real.
Corrin: Can't die... if I'm not alive... real... You wish to make me real... really real...
(y/n): That's right. I want to try... I must try. If Azura won't dream forever, then I'll make sure you can exist outside her dream.
Corrin: Because you love me.
(y/n): ...Yes. I did say that.
Corrin: (y/n)... I really was created to only care about Azura, wasn't I? A strong, caring best friend who will always be there for her. I still cherish her, and I'll still protect her... but... lately, you've been on my mind too.
Corrin: And... Today, during the battle, when this soldier striked me... I bled.
(y/n): You bled?! But...
Corrin: I know. Dreams can't bleed. It was just a few drops... but they were as warm and red as anyone's blood. Maybe there's a chance for me then... Maybe I really am becoming alive.
Corrin: And if that's the case, then I have to tell you... I love you as well. I think I do. These feelings are still fresh, but time will make them stronger. Realer.
(y/n): Corrin... I've never been this happy. This is almost too good to be true.
Corrin: Haha, no. Believe me, you are very awake.
[(y/n) and Corrin have reached support rank S.]
Confession quote:
Corrin: You are what dreams are made of. Rest now. I'll fight the nightmares off if they come to get you.

Azura: ♪ You are the ocean's gray waves, destined to seek ♪ Life beyond the shore just out of-
(y/n): Azura? Can I ask you some-
Azura: Ah!
(y/n): Oh! My apologies, I didn’t mean to startle you. Or interrupt you. I know how much you dislike that.
Azura: It’s alright, Summoner. No harm done. I always get so caught up enjoying my alone time that I stop paying attention to my surroundings. Did you need something?
(y/n): Well, you know how Sharena told everyone at the refectory yesterday that she wanted to organize a ball next month?
Azura: Of course. Isn’t it a good idea? We are always running around from a battle to another. A festive event such as a ball would certainly cheer the Heroes up, and you as well.
(y/n): Um... yes, but...
Azura: What’s the matter? Aren’t you excited to finally have an occasion to do something else than working on your tactics? Or don’t you like balls?
(y/n): Well... it’s more like I have no idea if I like balls. I don’t know how to dance.
Azura: You don’t? Not at all?
(y/n): Not at all. You see how Subaki fell off his pegasus the other day? It was still more graceful and elegant than anything I've ever done in my entire life.
Azura: Oh. Well... he did fall quite gracefully...
(y/n): Perhaps, but that is not the point!
Azura: Hehe. I’m only teasing you, Summoner. You can very well attend a ball without dancing. I know for sure several Heroes will stay by the buffet.
(y/n): Yes... but you see... there is this one person I’d like to go with and... I’m sure you understand.
Azura: How sweet. So you want me to teach you how to dance then.
(y/n): Yeah, exactly. I hope it’s no bother...
Azura: Quite the contrary. I’m sure we will have fun.
(y/n): You might have to rethink that when I’ll step on your feet for the 40th time... Oh, I see Alfonse waving at me. Must be time for the war council. I’ll see you later, Azura!
[The Summoner leaves.]
Azura: Hmm... I’ve never taught dance to anyone before... This is going to be a challenge for the both of us.
[(y/n) and Azura have reached support rank C.]
B SUPPORT
(y/n): So... how do we do this?
Azura: Before we try anything, I must ask you how much do you know about the upcoming ball? Did Lady Sharena tell you if it’d be a thematic ball or something more general?
(y/n): She, uh, didn’t tell me much. I don’t even know what Askrian dances look like.
Azura: I’m sure she’ll take into consideration how many of us come from different worlds, and different nations as well. There must be so many different dances. Either we will be able to dance however we wish to, or we will all agree on a common dance.
(y/n): Knowing Sharena, she just wants us to have fun. She won’t care what we dance.
Azura: In that case, how about I teach you the waltz?
(y/n): The waltz?
Azura: Does it exist in your world?
(y/n): It does! I’m more surprised to hear it exists in Hoshido!
Azura: Oh but it doesn’t. Hoshidan dances are more reserved than anything I’ve seen elsewhere.
(y/n): How did you learn how to waltz then?
Azura: As you know, I spent several years of my childhood in Nohr. My mother, King Garon’s second wife, was also very fond of singing and dancing, and I remember her teaching me. This is one of my clearest memories of her. She had probably learnt it from Garon himself.
Azura: Sorry, I did not mean to change the subject. If the waltz exists in your world, don’t you have to learn it for social gatherings?
(y/n): Not really... Not anymore. Not in my social background at least. Ballroom dances are more of a competitive thing now. There are still a few social events held here and there but it's mostly for rich, famous families who contribute to politics or arts.
Azura: I see... You don’t have any previous experience then.
(y/n): Sorry...
Azura: No need to apologize, Summoner. People here have it easier, living in worlds where ballroom dances are taught. Even commoners hold festivals and dancing competitions in their villages regularly. Let’s try teaching you now.
(y/n): I’m all ears, teacher.
Azura: First of all, you have to learn the basic movements, step by step. Will you be the lead? Or will it be your partner?
(y/n): Um... I think it’d be best for us both if I weren’t the lead.
Azura: Hehe, I take it that they’re a good dancer, whoever they are.
(y/n): Azura!
Azura: No need to blush, I’m not here to investigate. So you will be the follow. Let's start, shall we? Face me. Feet parallel. Arms relaxed by your sides. Now bend your right leg slightly and step back...
(y/n): ...
Azura: ...I said your right leg.
(y/n): Argh!

(y/n): ...
Azura: And 1, right foot back... 2, step to the side... 3, feet together... Now we turn...
(y/n): ...
Azura: Once more. 1, 2, 3... And underarm turn!
(y/n): Ah!
Azura: You did it! You did the waltz with a partner flawlessly!
(y/n): Did I, really?
Azura: Well, you got the basics. The correct posture, the closed position, the box step, the side step... You can't become a professional dancer in such a short period of time, but you can definitely get by at the ball.
(y/n): Thank you so much, Azura! I never thought I’d actually be able to learn how to waltz!
Azura: You are welcome, Summoner. I can imagine how nerve-racking it must be to know you have to ballroom dance when you don't know how. I'm glad I could help you learn a few things.
(y/n): If it's not asking too much, can we still keep rehearsing until the big day? I think I got the hang of it now, but I had lots of fun during our sessions.
Azura: I don’t mind. I enjoy our time together greatly as well.
(y/n): Thank you! I promise today was the last time I stepped on your feet!
Azura: I hope so. Now all you have to do is get a partner.
(y/n): Right... I should ask them soon.
Azura: Why not today? Aren’t you afraid someone might invite them if you wait too long?
(y/n): I am, but... It’s not that easy! And it’s getting pretty late...
Azura: Summoner...
(y/n): I know, I know! I’ll do it tomorrow, okay?
Azura: Good. See you tomorrow for our next dancing session then. And don’t forget to tell me how it went.
(y/n): Haha... I won’t.
[(y/n) and Azura have reached support rank A.]

Azura: Summoner? You’re here early.
(y/n): Hello, Azura. Yes, I managed to finish earlier than usual today. I meant to take this opportunity to ask this Hero to come with me to the ball, so...
Azura: I see. How did it went?
(y/n): W-well, I haven’t asked them yet...
Azura: Summoner...
(y/n): D-don’t give me that look! I’m going to do it now!
Azura: *sigh* Very well. Go and do it then. I’ll wait here.
(y/n): Oh, don’t worry. You won’t have to wait. I can do it right here.
Azura: Here? Oh, you can’t possibly mean-
(y/n): Lady Azura, would you go with me to the ball?
Azura: (Y/n)... Is this what you had in mind from the beginning?
(y/n) : Yes. I like you a lot, Azura. More than that, I fell in love with all of you, and I never want to stop making new memories with you.
Azura: To think all this time I believed there was someone else... You had me worry. I’ll forgive you when we’ll dance together at the ball.
(y/n) : So that means...
Azura: It means ‘yes’. Yes, I’ll go with you to the ball. Yes, I reciprocate your feelings.
(y/n) : You don’t know how happy I am to hear that! I’m so happy I think I’ve forgotten everything you taught me!
Azura: ...Please tell me you’re joking.

Confession Quote:
Azura: I always felt there was something special about you. Since you've been around, I smile a lot more than I used to.

Subaki/Sumia C-S Support
Written by Shauni
C SUPPORT
Subaki: How strange... What is this pegasus doing here? And how did its harness get all tangled like this?
[The pegasus lets out a neigh.]
Subaki: Gently does it, gorgeous. Let me unknot this. There, isn't it better?
???: There you are!
Subaki: Um?
Sumia: *out of breath* I've been looking everywhere for you! Please don't ever run off like that again, you had me worried sick!
Sumia: Oh, you're Subaki, right? Thank you for catching my pegasus.
Subaki: Don't mention it, Sumia. That is your name, if I'm not mistaken.
Sumia: Yes, it is! I believe we haven't met yet. I've heard a lot about you, Subaki. They say everything you do, you do it perfectly and effortlessly.
Subaki: I'd refute such praise, if it wasn't the truth~
Sumia: Amazing! I can't wait to witness your prowess!
Subaki: Witness? You don't mean...
Sumia: Yes! Earlier, the Summoner requested I replace Lady Tana. We're in the same team now!
Subaki: Oh. Is that so...
Sumia: Is everything alright? You look distressed all of a sudden.
Subaki: Not at all. It's nothing. Yes, nothing at all... Sumia, listen very carefully.
Sumia: Of course!
Subaki: We are to fight the Emblian army in 15 minutes. I do not want, under any circumstances, you to mess everything up and get us, or even the Summoner, killed.
Sumia: W-what?! But-
Subaki: You said you heard about me, remember? Well, I've heard about you as well. Your clumsiness might even surpass Felicia's – and I've experienced it first hand. So keep a low profile and stay in the back. In fact, try to avoid fighting altogether. Is that clear?
Sumia: I... Y-yes, crystal clear...
Subaki: Good. Now let's go, the rest of the team is waiting for us.
[Subaki leaves.]
Sumia: ...

B SUPPORT
Sumia: (Chrom said he last saw him in there. I hope I didn't miss him...)
Sumia: Subaki?
Subaki: Oh, if it isn't Sumia. Do you need something?
Sumia: I do, in fact. I'm sorry to interrupt your training, but I'd like to speak with you.
Subaki: Hmm? Very well. I'm all ears.
Sumia: The other day, you asked me to, and I quote, keep a low profile and try to avoid fighting. Which is what I've been doing for four days in a row now. I would like it to stop.
Subaki: Stop? Why? Everything is going perfectly.
Sumia: I-I know! But just because everything's going perfectly when I stay behind doesn't mean it will all turn to pegasus dung just because I'm participating!
Subaki: Actually, I have the feeling that's exactly what it means...
Sumia: Why?! Listen, I... I used to have major self-esteem issues. I-I still do, but I worked hard on them. What you heard about me being clumsy? It's true. I trip over my own feet and pretend it's because of my boots, and I break plates, and once or twice I even forgot to feed my pegasus-
Subaki: You what?!
Sumia: Urgh, my point is! I am clumsy, yes, but outside of the battlefield! (Well, most of the time anyway...)
Subaki: I heard you once punched your captain and almost broke his jaw...
Sumia: !! This is completely unrelated! Ask the Shepherds! Robin, our tactician, told me himself I was perfect!
Subaki: Perfect?
Sumia: Um, well... His exact words were “Maybe not perfect, but pretty good”. I may be unable to achieve perfection like you or Cordelia, but I'm a good soldier!... A pretty decent one, at least...
Subaki: …
Sumia: … Urgh, who am I really trying to convince, you or myself? I am a plain and clumsy clod. Even you wouldn't be able to find any quality in me.
Subaki: ! Beg pardon? There is nothing I can't do.
Sumia: Huh?
Subaki: I mean... Everyone has their own skills and vertues, so I suppose you also do. Yes, it's decided. By tomorrow, I will have a complete list of your qualities ready.
Sumia: What are you saying?! A full list?!
Subaki: It will be no easy task given your... rightful reputation... but that is a challenge I am more than ready to accept.
Sumia: Oh, thank you, Subaki! I can't wait!... But since you admitted I have qualities, does that mean I am allowed to fight alongside you in battle now?
Subaki: (Argh!)
[Subaki and Sumia have reached support rank B.]
A SUPPORT
Subaki: Good day, Sumia.
Sumia: Oh, hello, Subaki. What brings you here? Surely you haven't finished the list already?
Subaki: Of course I have.
Sumia: Huh?! But how could you possibly–
Subaki: I did say I'd finish it for today, didn't I~? Most people would have needed days, maybe weeks, to fulfill such a arduous task~
Sumia: Um, are you alright? You seem to have dark circles under your eyes.
Subaki: Not at all. I completed this list in no time. (And absolutely did not spend most of the night working on it...)
Sumia: What was that?
Subaki: Nothing. Here you go, Sumia.
Sumia: Oh gosh! How many pages are there?! 1, 5, 10... Subaki, you can't be serious!
Subaki: I am. You are, by all means, a walking disaster. And to be honest, while it annoys me to no end, it also benefits me. The more of a train wreck you are, the more the Summoner dumps their hopes on me. However... I must admit making this list made me realize, you do have qualities. Underneath your clumsy tendencies, you hold a inner strength that most people lack, and you're always striving to protect your allies and fight for them.
Sumia: Gods, Subaki, you're making me blush...
Subaki: Don't get carried away~ You're as far to be flawless as one could possibly be... but I admit you are kind, courageous, strong and caring. You do your best and it deserves respect. Therefore, I apologize for the way I treated you before.
Sumia: Thank you... Of course I forgive you. I must say, I feel better about myself now. Your kind words are much appreciated!
[Subaki and Sumia have reached support rank A.]
S SUPPORT
Sumia: Phew! That was the last Emblian soldier... Hopefully we're done.
Subaki: Considering the sun is setting, I think we are. You did good today, Sumia.
Sumia: You really think so?
Subaki: Yes, the way you handled this Manakete was– Hm? What's that? Something is sticking out of your breastplate.
Sumia: Oh? Oh!
Subaki: A piece of paper? Is that one of your fortunes?
Sumia: No... It's the list you made.
Subaki: Why are you keeping it inside your breastplate? I thought you cared a lot about it. Aren't you scared of losing it, clumsy as you are?
Sumia: A bit, I must say... but this is far too important for me to lose it. You see, this list is my lucky charm.
Subaki: Your lucky charm?
Sumia: Well, I guess not exactly... I'm not really keeping it on me for luck. More like... to boost my self-confidence. If I keep a reminder of everything my beloved likes about me on my heart, believing in myself becomes much easier.
Subaki: I– Ah– Your beloved?!
Sumia: Oh gods! I didn't say that!
Subaki: Excuse me? You did! You just did! I heard you!... And judging by the weird looks we're getting, I think these people over there heard you as well.
Sumia: O-oh no! This is a disaster! Naga, quick! Open a hole in the ground and make me disappear!
Subaki: …
Sumia: …
Sumia: ...It's... not happening. Oh...
Subaki: Gods, Sumia, please don't look so down! People are going to think I rejected you!
Sumia: So what? That's what you're going to do anyway! Just get on with it, please. I know you're way out of my league anyway.
Subaki: Sumia... I love you too.
Sumia: *sigh* I knew it, what was I... Wait, what did you say?
Subaki: I said I reciprocate your feelings and accept your confession. Aren't you happy?
Sumia: Wha– No... It's just that... Uh... I'm happy, really happy! But am I really... good enough?
Subaki: You are... human and flawed, but you are perfect to me and that's all that matters. Your best is worth more than perfection.
Sumia: Subaki... Thank you. This is the beginning of something wonderful.

M!Corrin/Nowi C-S Support
Written by Shauni
Disclaimer: M!Corrin has been summoned after the death of Queen Mikoto and before choosing a path.
C SUPPORT
Nowi: Ha-ha! I've finally found him! Now... quietly... very quietly...
Nowi: GOOD MORNING, DRAGON PRINCE!
Corrin: Aah?!
Nowi: *laughing* Got you! Hahaha, you jumped so high! Did you really not hear me coming?
Corrin: W-what was that for?! You're Nowi, right? Couldn't you approach me in a more normal fashion?
Nowi: Of course I could. I just thought it wouldn't be as funny. *pouting* Hey, you didn't even wish me 'good morning' back! That's not very princely of you. I looked everywhere for you!
Corrin: But you're the one who– Oh, nevermind. Good morning. That's as “princely” as I can get right now with my heart beating in my throat.
Nowi: That's good enough for me!
Corrin: Glad to hear that. So, why were you looking for me?
Nowi: Because I was curious, of course! Ever since I was summoned, I've been wanting to see you!
Corrin: Really? I did not know. If I may ask, why are you curious of me?
Nowi: Because you're a dragon prince, silly! You and I can both turn into dragons!
Corrin: You too? Who told you that I–
Nowi: I got paired up with your little sister for training this morning! As soon as I took my Dragonstone out of my bag, her eyes lit up. “My big brother has a stone that looks just like this one!”, she said. But according to her, our dragon forms don't look alike at all. So I got even more curious about you, dragon prince!
Corrin: I see... Is that why you keep calling me “dragon prince”?
Nowi: Partly! Dragons are great, but what's even better than a dragon?
Corrin: Um... two dragons?
Nowi: True, but in this case, the correct answer is “a royal dragon”! And you're both a dragon and a prince! A dragon prince! Plus you're the first male Manakete I've met in a long, long time!
Corrin: Is that so...
Nowi: Not feeling very talkative, are we? It's okay! Say, how about we show each other our dragon forms? I want to see just how different we look!
Corrin: Um... Maybe another time, Nowi. I have... something other than that to do. Good day.
[Corrin leaves.]
Nowi: Huh? Hey, wait! Dragon priiince!... And he's gone. Humpf! Maybe I was too pushy...
[Corrin and Nowi have reached support rank C.]
B SUPPORT
Nowi: Dragon prince, found you! So that's where you were hiding!
Corrin: Oh, hello, Nowi. How was training?
Nowi: Fun! The Summoner is very happy with me and we finished early! Which is why I was able to watch your training.
Nowi: *pouting* And let me tell you, I was very, very disappointed.
Corrin: Beg pardon? (Y/n) seemed pleased of my swordmanship, if I remember correctly...
Nowi: But the sword! That's exactly what was disappointing! I was expecting you to–
Corrin: Turn into a dragon.
Nowi: Exactly! So why didn't you? Fae, Clarine and Ephraim were with you, so don't tell me it was sword training only. And if your swordmanship is that good, then you don't need to work so hard on it. I mean, you were good, don't get me wrong. But could you please drop the sword next time? I really want to see how you look as a dragon! I've been dreaming about it and then, when I wake up, I can't even remember–
Corrin: Nowi, listen. I won't turn into a dragon. Ever. I'm sorry to disappoint but I just won't.
Nowi: What? Why?
Corrin: I can't. As simple as that.
Nowi: What do you mean, you can't? You have pointy ears and a Dragonstone and your tail appears when you attack! A weird-looking tail, by the way, not like mine at all. You're definitely a dragon!
Corrin: Well, yes, but... Sorry, let me rephrase it. It's not that I can't transform; it's that I don't know how to.
Nowi: Huh? You don't? But... how is that even possible? It's like riding a horse! You never forget how to do it!
Corrin: It's... complicated. I never knew I could turn into a dragon before a few weeks ago. I spent my whole life until now thinking I was a regular human being. All my siblings possess abilities only Nohrian and Hoshidan royals do but, as it turned out, I am the only one able to become a dragon. And I've only transformed once. By accident. So there's that too.
Nowi: Oh... I see... That explains everything. But still, you said you managed to transform once. Can't you, like, recreate the same conditions that made you transform so you can do it again?
Corrin: I... transformed because my mother died.
Nowi: Oh.
Corrin: …
Nowi: …
Corrin: …
Nowi: … Well, this is awkward.
Corrin: Agreed.
Nowi: I'm so sorry! I didn't think it would be such a touchy topic!
Corrin: It's okay, Nowi. No offence taken. To be honest, I don't remember much... Rage and despair washing over me. Need to kill, destroy, crush. A headache. I was so furious I couldn't hear myself screaming. When I looked at my hands, they were turning into... something else. I just recall thinking “Hands are not supposed to do this”. And I think I heard my bones making noises. Even after I killed all enemies in sight, the anger stayed. When a friend tried to calm me down, I... I hurt her.
Nowi: … So now you're scared to transform again.
Corrin: … Yes.
Nowi: … Well, you know what? I'm going to teach you how to turn into a dragon and make it a peaceful, happy experience! So you won't be scared anymore!
Corrin: Um, come again?
Nowi: It's decided! For now, you're just a regular prince, but with my help you'll soon be a real dragon prince! Oh, I've never been a teacher before, this is gonna be so much fun!
Corrin: Nowi, please, I don't think it's–
Nowi: I have to tell Commander Anna and (y/n) about this! I'm sure they will agree! I'll let you know when everything is ready, dragon prince!
[Nowi leaves.]
Corrin: … My name is Corrin, you know. Gods, what have I gotten myself into?
[Corrin and Nowi have reached support rank B.]
A SUPPORT
Nowi: Alright, Nowi's Super Special Dragon Training is about to start! Is my student ready?
Corrin: I... guess. To be frank, I'm still unsure about this.
Nowi: Oh, come on! Everything is going to be okay. We're going to work together on whatever your issues are, then you're gonna successfully transform, love it, and become my playmate. See? It's simple!
Corrin: Um... If you say so... How do we do this then?
Nowi: No worries, it's easy! Hold your Dragonstone firmly in one hand and let's start by step one: how do you feel?
Corrin: Right now? Rather unsure of where this is going.
Nowi: No, silly! I meant, how do you feel about turning into a dragon?
Corrin: Oh. Anxious.
Nowi: Why?
Corrin: Well, from what I remember, the transformation... hurt a lot.
Nowi: Really? That's weird. It never hurts for me. Maybe because it was your first time? The circumstances can have various effects, I suppose. Here, let me show you!
[An hour later...]
Corrin: *panting* Nowi... with all due respect... I think we should call it a day...
Nowi: I don't understand! Why can't you transform?! You had the head, the horns, the tail and one arm, but every time your body stays human in shape. I'm so sorry, Corrin... Are you okay?
Corrin: Yes, just... tired. My limbs feel numb. Heh. I'm not that much of a “dragon prince”, am I?
Nowi: No, don't say that! It's way too early to give up! I'm sure you can do it. All you need is time and training. And lots of encouragement. Which I am more than willing to provide!
Corrin: Are you sure? You seemed so eager to compare our dragon forms, I'd hate to disappoint you...
Nowi: *laughs* No need to worry! I did see your horns, head and one paw, remember? They all looked so cool! Very different from mine, both in colours and shapes! Actually, even your Dragonstone doesn't quite look like mine.
Corrin: Yes, I noticed. Your transformation looks different as well. It's so... elegant. You look etheral, Nowi.
Nowi: Wow! Ethereal, really? I don't think I've ever been told this, even in a thousand years! Thank you, Corrin!
Corrin: … Did you just say “a thousand years”?
[Corrin and Nowi have reached support rank A.]
S SUPPORT
Nowi: Corrin, Corrin!
Corrin: Nowi? What are you doing here? You should be at the infirmary!
Nowi: But I'm fine! Look, the healers patched me up, I'm good as new! Besides, I came to thank you. I was careless. I didn't see this Emblian soldier creeping behind my back. Had you not been here, I could have... So thank you.
Corrin: Please don't mention it. I'm just glad you're okay. By the way, did you see it? I did it! I changed into a dragon.
Nowi: Yes, about that... I also wanted to apologize.
Corrin: Huh? What for?
Nowi: Well, you turned into a dragon to save me... I promised to make your next transformation a happy experience, remember? And instead, I just... made it another painful, fear-induced one. I'm sorry, Corrin! This is not how I wanted it to be...
Corrin: Come now, Nowi. This was a wonderful experience.
Nowi: What do you mean?
Corrin: The first time, I transformed because my mother was killed. I felt powerless, miserable and angry. But you were still alive, Nowi. There was still something I could do to protect you. I felt anger... but I also felt able. I-it's hard to explain... I just... I couldn't lose you.
Nowi: Corrin...
Corrin: Oh! I said that out loud, didn't I?
Nowi: Corrin, how long will you live?
Corrin: Huh? I... don't know? For a good while, I hope.
Nowi: No, I mean, do you have a human lifespan?
Corrin: I... guess? Since I aged normally until now, I suppose I do.
Nowi: Are you sure? Are you positive that you have a human lifespan?
Corrin: Nowi, what is this about?
Nowi: This is about you being the most handsome dragon in existence, the kindest person I've met in a long time, and me falling in love with you. So I don't want you to die on me.
Corrin: You– I– I mean... I was going to say it, you know? I love you too, Nowi. And... that's why I'm sorry, I can't say I won't die one day. But that's not what matters right now. We've just confessed and you're already thinking about the moment we'll be separated. There are so many happy memories waiting to be made before that.
Nowi: Now is now and later is later, huh? Right. That's what my friends in the Shepherds taught me. Thank you for reminding me, Corrin.
Nowi: And now that we're lovers, let's play!
Corrin: Right now? Um, don't you want to go buy rings or something–
Nowi: Hmmm... no! I have a better idea!
Corrin: Oh?
Nowi: Matching Dragonstones! Matching engraved Dragonstones!
Corrin: *chuckle* That's actually a good idea. Well then, Nowi, what do you want our wedding Dragonstones to say?
Nowi: Oh, I have tons of ideas! What do you think of...

Summoner/Subaki C-S Support
Written by Shauni
C SUPPORT
(y/n): …
(y/n): … Here he comes. Quick, act natural.
Subaki: So that’s where you were, Summoner! Do you have a moment?
(y/n): Hello, Subaki. I still have a few minutes before attending the war meeting, so yes. Is there something you need?
Subaki: Actually, yes, there is. I’ve just finished my training for today and was hoping you’d have some work for me.
(y/n): Work? Well, I suppose there’s always something that needs to be done around here… If I remember correctly, the armory could use some tidying…
Subaki: Oh, I’ve taken care of it this morning.
(y/n): Of course you did… Alright then… The archers left the training grounds without cleaning up behind them-
Subaki: I’ve already picked up the arrows. I’ve also disposed of the damaged targets and replaced them with new ones.
(y/n): … You’ve already sharpened the swords and replaced the training dummies as well, haven’t you?
Subaki: That’s right~ You know me well, Summoner~
(y/n): Not really. I was here when you did all that. In that case, I’m sorry, I don’t think there’s anything left to do.
Subaki: You… what?
(y/n): So you really didn’t see me? I followed you all morning. Not in a creepy way, of course, I just wanted to see if you really were going to take care of everything. And you did. Which is… pretty concerning, I have to say.
Subaki: (I… didn’t notice him/her at all…) What exactly do you mean by “concerning”?
(y/n): I mean you’re not alone in this army, Subaki. You should leave it to your fellow heroes to do certain tasks. From time to time, at least. I don’t want you to work yourself to death.
Subaki: … I see. Thank you for your solicitude, Summoner, but I am in tip-top form. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’ll go back to training.
(y/n): Hey, wait! Subaki!… He left. This is gonna be harder than I thought.
[(y/n) and Subaki have reached support rank C.]
B SUPPORT
Subaki: *panting* Huff… Huff… That’s weird… I have been training for only 20 minutes and I’m already out of breath. That’s no good. Thankfully there’s no one to see me like this…
(y/n): Good morning, Subaki.
Subaki: Ah!
(y/n): Wah! My apologies, I didn’t mean to startle you.
Subaki: *panting* Summoner?! How did you sneak up on me again?!… I-It’s nothing. Nothing at all. What brings you here so early?
(y/n): Nothing much. Just checking on you. You know, the whole “don’t work yourself to death” thing I mentioned last time.
Subaki: Your worry is appreciated but truly unecessary. As I said before, I am as fresh as a daisy, as flawless as ever~
(y/n): No, you’re not! You look awful!
Subaki: Excuse me?
(y/n): No, not your face! I mean you’re visibly exhausted. If you could see yourself… Are you sure you don’t have a fever? Your cheeks are all red and you’re all sweaty and–
Subaki: !! Stop! Please spare me the details!
(y/n): Why? There’s nothing wrong with that. You’re very hardworking, all the time. I’d question your humanity if you weren’t… well, red and sweaty and–
Subaki: I said stop!
(y/n): …
Subaki: …
(y/n): … I’m sorry.
Subaki: Don’t be… I apologize for raising my voice. I shouldn’t have. After all, you just expressed concern for my well-being, right? I should be thankful.
(y/n): … Are you?
Subaki: …
(y/n): … What are you so afraid of? Imperfection?
Subaki: Well… I’m a perfectionist, if that’s what you mean… I believe everyone here knows it very well.
(y/n): Subaki, there is a line between perfectionism and phobia. I think you’ve crossed it.
Subaki: I’m afraid I don’t see your point. I am the living proof that perfection is attainable. Isn’t it logical to refuse to accept any standard short of perfection? Most people might be content with being “average”, but it is not my case. I strike to be as good as it is possible to be. How is that reproachable in any way?
(y/n): How? I’ll tell you how. Your quest for the best is not about a deep love for meticulousness. It’s about fear. Fear of messing up. Fear of failure. Fear of disappointing others… To be honest, I am worried. It must be so hard being you.
Subaki: !! That’s… My perfectionism is merely one of my personality traits. I take offence to hear you treating it as a disorder.
(y/n): Subaki, I–
Subaki: Let’s end this conversation here, Summoner. Please. Surely we both have better things to do.
(y/n): … Very well. Have a good day, Subaki.
[(y/n) and Subaki have reached support rank B.]
A SUPPORT
(y/n): Um… Subaki?
Subaki: Oh, Summoner. Are you here to continue our last conversation?
(y/n): N-no… Actually, I wanted to apologize. I told you mean, disrespectful things… and acted like I knew you better than you do yourself. I’m truly sorry. This won’t happen again.
Subaki: … *sigh* I accept your apologies. Will you please accept mine as well?
(y/n): Yours?
Subaki: Yes… I got defensive. And harsh. I should have handled this situation better.
(y/n): (Oh no, he’s dwelling on his mistakes again…) It’s okay! We’re both sorry then. You forgive me and I forgive you. Deal?
Subaki: Haha~ Deal.
(y/n): What a relief… Well then, I’ll leave you to your training. Glad this matter is settled.
[The Summoner leaves.]
Subaki: …
Subaki: Wait, Summoner!
[The Summoner comes back.]
(y/n): Yes?
Subaki: I… would like to discuss something with you. About what you said last time. However, I don’t think I can do this twice…
(y/n): Then I’m all ears. You won’t have to repeat, promise.
Subaki: Thank you.
Subaki: I come from a noble Hoshidan house. My family has served the royal family for generations and its reputation is immaculate. My parents, as well as my more distant family members, had great expectations for me before I was even born.
(y/n): This sounds… stressful beyond words.
Subaki: Indeed. As you know, I am one of Lady Sakura’s retainers. She is the youngest member of the Hoshidan royal family. I must appear perfect in all circumstances – socially, militarily and as a friend of hers. Everyone thinks of me as a prodigy… but the truth is… is…
(y/n): It’s alright, Subaki. Take your time.
Subaki: *panting* I… I’m no genius. My prowesses are not the result of effortless first tries, but of countless hours, days, weeks, months, sometimes years, of hard, meticulous and repetitive training. As a child, I was forced to train – not until I got it right, but until I was unable to get it wrong. When I was ten, I started getting dark circles under my eyes and cysts because of the stress… and even these were treated as imperfections to be eradicated. “Offences”, as my parents called them.
(y/n): This is… Oh my God, Subaki… I have no words.
Subaki: What I wanted to say is, you were right… I don’t particularly enjoy being the way I am. It’s my fear of failure that keeps me going.
Subaki: … Oh gods, there, I said it. I– I understand if you wish to send me back home now…
(y/n): Subaki… You will go back to Hoshido, when the times comes. But I’m not sending you back because you expressed your humanity. What kind of monster would do this?
Subaki: …
(y/n): … I think I know how you feel. But, listen, you did not disappoint me, alright? I am actually impressed. I didn’t think you’d be able to admit your flaws. To be completely honest with me. Especially after I harassed you so much about that.
Subaki: So… you won’t look down on me for not being the best?
(y/n): Everybody’s best is different, Subaki. You can’t always be the best… but you can always do your best. I know you always do. And let’s be honest, your best is pretty darn amazing.
Subaki: Haha! Normally I’d take offence to that… but this time, it’s music to my ears. Thank you, Summoner.
[(y/n) and Subaki have reached support rank A.]
S SUPPORT
(y/n): Well, I think we can call it a day! Thank you for helping me with these battle plans, Subaki. You provided invaluable advice.
Subaki: It was my pleasure, (y/n). I’m surprised you didn’t ask Robin or Soren to help you though. They are, after all, actual tacticians.
(y/n): Um… Soren would have… you know, been himself. And Robin wasn’t available. Training.
Subaki: Oh, really? Because I’ve seen him on my way here. He told me he offered his help and  you declined~
(y/n): !! T-that’s…
Subaki: Yes~? Can’t think of an excuse, can you?
(y/n): Argh! Alright, alright, you wipe that cocky grin off your face this instant! I just wanted to spend more time with you, okay?
Subaki: …
(y/n): Besides I knew you’d be good at this! Robin would have probably ended up planning everything on his own, making me stand here feeling useless…
Subaki: …
(y/n): … Subaki?
Subaki: … I can’t do this anymore.
(y/n): Um, what?
Subaki: You just said you want to spend more time with me, yes? Well, I do too. Much, much more time.
(y/n): Are you implying what I think you’re implying…?
Subaki: If you think that I find you incomparably charming and that I’ve fallen for you, then yes, I am. What about your feelings? I-I’d understand if they don’t match mine… after what I confessed last time.
(y/n): You mean, you not being a prodigy? Oh, Subaki. Come on, look at us. We come from two completely different worlds, met in a third world which existence was unheard of, and we don’t even know when we’ll be able to go home. You not being perfect is the most reassuring, realistic, comforting fact I’ve heard in a very, very long time.
Subaki: Then does this mean…
(y/n): Yes. Gosh, I’m stuck here in the middle of a war and I couldn’t possibly be more out of place or scared, but here I am, in love with you and refusing to let go.
Subaki: Gods, I… (y/n), I will always be a perfectionist. There is no turning back from it. But… around you… I feel like I can be as imperfect as I wish. So I have to ask you… Will… will you still love me when I mess up? When I… fail?
(y/n): Yes. Yes, always, yes.
Subaki: Won’t you get angry at me? Or be disappointed?
(y/n): Never. Remember, you’re just human. You’re not supposed to be perfect.
Subaki: And yet it took me years to learn to pretend to be perfect. I’m afraid it might take me years to accept that I, in fact, can not. Are you willing to remind me until then?
(y/n): *laughing* For you, I’ll make an ‘incomparably charming’ parrot.
Subaki: *laughing* Not even for a moment would I entertain the idea that you would not. Now, come here~
[(y/n) and Subaki have reached support rank S.]
Confession quote:
Subaki: We are so imperfect and yet so perfect for each other, darling. You and me, until forever ends.

M!Corrin/Sumia C-S Support
Written by Shauni
C SUPPORT
Corrin: This has to be the messiest, darkest, dustiest armory I've ever seen... How am I supposed to find the feathers in this mess? Should have brought a light... Come on, Corrin, don't Felicia your way between these shelves...
Sumia: Not here... Not there either...
Corrin: A voice? Coming from above?
Sumia: Oh, pegasus poop, where did they put the new silver lances? y/n is waiting for you, Sumia, you can't come back empty-handed! What is she/he gonna think of you if you can't even find a weapon in our own armory? O-okay, calm down... Maybe they're on the next shelf...
Corrin: (Good gods, where did she even find such a tall ladder?! And it's almost pitch black, what is she thinking? Okay, Corrin, warn her softly... If she were to fall from this height, it'd be disastrous.)
Corrin: Um, miss?
Sumia: Ah?! Wah!
Corrin: Hey, watch out!
Sumia: Waaaaaaahh! *CRASH*
Corrin: Aah!
[Corrin and Sumia have reached support rank C.]
B SUPPORT
Sumia: Hello... I... Lord Corrin? May I come in?
Corrin: Is that you, Sumia? Yes, of course, no need to hide behind the door. Is there something you needed?
Sumia: Needed? Not really, I– Well, I suppose I do– Um, in a way... (Argh, I'm making of fool of myself! Again!)
Corrin: Um... Are you okay?
Sumia: *breathes in, then out* I... I came to apologize, milord. For, you know... falling off the ladder... and tumbling on top of you... and making both of us crash to the floor... Also for hitting your head with my elbow... And sending you to the infirmary... I really, really didn't mean to! I was so focused on finding these lances I didn't hear you come in and, when you spoke so suddenly, it took me by surprise and made me jump... and I slipped.
Corrin: I see... May I ask why you punched me in the face too?
Sumia: O-oh, I... Something hairy touched my cheek and I thought it was a rat or something... It turned out to be your hair.
Corrin: …
Sumia: !! I-I'm really, truly sorry! Gods... and now you have a black eye because of me... y/n should send me back home before I cripple the whole army...
Corrin: H-hey now, no need to get into a state. I startled you; you fell. That happens everyday, to everyone. A close friend of mine trips over her own feet at least twice a day.
Sumia: Really...?
Corrin: I assure you. She falls so often I got used to catch her before she hits the ground... most of the time.
Sumia: Amazing... So that's how you managed to catch me.
Corrin: (And at what cost...)
Sumia: Did you say something?
Corrin: Ah, it's just... Don't worry, okay? I'm fine. My little sister will come patch me up soon. The Summoner doesn't need to know.
Sumia: Truly? What a relief... Thank you, Lord Corrin! I'll make it up to you!
[Sumia leaves.]
Corrin: … I better not tell her I also twisted my ankle and broke a mollar in that fall. Her self-confidence seems low enough as it is.
[Corrin and Sumia have reached support rank B.]
A SUPPORT
Sumia: Lord Corrin! There you are!
Corrin: Hello, Sumia– Are we under attack?!
Sumia: Huh? No, we're not... Why do you ask?
Corrin: Well... you're out of breath, covered in dust, and there are twigs sticking out of your hair.
Sumia: Oh, that... It's nothing. I was looking for you and Lady Sharena told me you already left for the training grounds, so I ran to catch up with you. And there were pebbles... on the ground... I fell. Twice.
Corrin: I-I see... How may I help you?
Sumia: Remember when I told you I'd make it up to you? Well, I baked you a chocolate cake!
Corrin: You did?
Sumia: I'm good at cooking and didn't want to risk trying something else and messing it up... I asked Lady Camilla and she told me you loved desserts. To be completely honest, it was supposed to be a honey cake but Gaius – a friend of mine – ate it when I wasn't looking... so I had to make another one but there was no honey left and– Oh my gosh, you do like chocolate, right? Don't tell me I spent my whole afternoon in the kitchen for nothing...
Corrin: Sumia, please, stop worrying so much. I love chocolate.
Sumia: Y-you do?
Corrin: Of course! I'd be more than happy to eat it. After all the trouble you went through to make it, the least I can do is put my training off to a later time... It'd be a shame if your friend Gaius ate this cake too.
Sumia: Oh gods, no! I left it in the kitchen! If Gaius finds it, he'll swallow it in one gulp!
Corrin: He would? That's... kind of impressive. Reminds me of someone. Anyway, we'd better hurry then.
Sumia: We?
Corrin: You worked hard to bake this cake, right? It's only fair you get to eat it too. Besides, I'd never be able to eat an entire cake by myself.
Sumia: But the cake is an apology... An apology for sending you to the infirmary!
Corrin: Not only do I accept your apology, I'd also appreciate if I could eat it in your company... Unless you don't want to?
Sumia: Oh, no, no, that's not what I meant! I'd be delighted to eat cake with you, Lord Corrin.
Corrin: Perhaps after that you can drop the fancy titles. Now come, before that friend of yours eats your apology!
Sumia: M-milord! No need to hold my hand! I won't fall, I promise! (Well, I'll try not to...)
[Corrin and Sumia have reached support rank A.]
S SUPPORT
Sumia: He loves me... He loves me not... He loves me... He loves me not... He loves me...
Sumia: He loves me... *sigh* Not. Oh dear... It's useless. I could pull the petals off of all the flowers in Askr and the answer would still remain the same. Just give up, Sumia. I can't believe I went as far as to borrow this book from Cordelia... Who even writes this kind of stuff?! *throws book away*
???: Argh!
Sumia: ?! Oh no! Did it just hit someone? I'm so sorry!
Corrin: Is that you, Sumia? Why are you throwing books at people? I thought you liked reading. And people.
Sumia: Corrin?! I-I do, it's just... Please, don't tell me I just gave you another black eye...
Corrin: Haha, no, it's alright. The book hit my breast-plate. Wait, I'll pick it up for you.
Sumia: Oh gods, please don't! Don't read the title–
Corrin: … What's this? "Make Him Fall for You in a Fortnight"?
Sumia: Eek!
Corrin: Sumia?... Is there something you wish to tell me?
Sumia: No! Nothing at all!
Corrin: Sumia. I'm going to tell you a sentence everyone who knows me hears a lot: I'm naive, not stupid. Now, I'll say it again: is there something you wish to tell me?
Sumia: … Very well. Time to be brave, isn't it?
Corrin: Yes... I believe it's time to take a risk.
Sumia: *breathes in, then out* … I have feelings for you.
Corrin: You...?
Sumia: You are kind, Corrin. Kind and patient. When I joined the Pegasus Knights, everyone quickly got tired of my mistakes... Me tripping, dropping my lance, stepping on a comrade's foot... So many got tired and gave up on me because of my clumsiness. Next to Cordelia, I've always felt like a disappointment... Among the Shepherds, I found many kind people. But somehow... it's your kindness, not anyone else's, that reached my heart. I'm not sure why... it's so sudden... and I can't think of any elaborate declaration of love to make... but I love you. I really do.
Corrin: …
Sumia: P-please say something...
Corrin: I-I'm trying to. I'm feeling shy all of a sudden. Looks like I can't think of any sophisticated confession either.
Sumia: You mean...
Corrin: Yes. I love you too, Sumia. I don't care how clumsy you've been in the past or how many more times you'll fall on me in the future. I love you the way you are. However...
Sumia: However?
Corrin: Once our work in Askr is done, we'll both have to go back to our respective worlds. I've left in the middle of a... complicated situation, to say the least... With people waiting for me to make a choice. I can not afford to just leave it all behind.
Sumia: Then I will follow you!
Corrin: Don't take decisions so hastily! Surely there are people awaiting your return.
Sumia: W-well, it's true that my whole life is in Ylisse... but Grima is no more. The war is over. And, to tell the truth, I was summoned right after informing Chrom I wanted to quit fighting to raise pegasi... There are pegasi in your world, right?
Corrin: Y-yes there are... Are you sure this is what you want? You wanted to trade your lance for peace and still you are ready to follow me into another war?
Sumia: You know I'm not the confident type... and yet I've never felt so certain.
Corrin: I know I'll probably regret not trying harder to dissuade you, but... Right now, all I feel is happiness. Very well, Sumia. Whatever happens when I go back, I am not losing you.
Sumia: Oh, Corrin... May our days be filled with glee. I never want them to end.

Hiatus
Hello, everyone. So... for those who don’t know, your mod here is French and, well... as you probably already know, things are getting pretty bad in France. I personally don’t think it’s a bad thing (for the most part), because Emmanuel Macron is just reaping what he and his predecessors thought they could sow with impunity, and there’s finally a concrete chance of him, his PM and all their little friends getting kicked out.
Why am I bothering you all with this here?
Well, believe it or not, but I’m extremely worried for my country, so I really am in no mental condition to take care of this blog at the moment. A third protest, expected to be even more violent than the previous one, will be held in Paris on December 8th. And whatever the outcome will be, I highly doubt it’ll be the end of all this...
I am NOT giving up on this blog or anything like that, alright? Tbh the word “hiatus” may even be too strong. I could very well be gone for just one week, so chances are you won’t even notice my absence.
If you have a support chain you wrote and would like to submit it, go ahead and submit it. I’ll take care of it once I’m back.
If you have any question, PM me at @shauni-will-never-write and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.
Follow me on Twitter in case anything happens to this blog because of this dumb December 17th Update so we can stay in touch. I don’t use it anyway so you don’t have to worry about me polluting your dash with my retweets.
Thank you for reading, and see you all soon ^^

How does requesting work on here because I thought you weren't the one that wrote the supports
Basically any subscriber who feel confident enough in their writting skills can send me an ask saying “hey, I’d like to reserve Character A/Character B C-S support chain”, and I add them to the list of supports in progress.
However, for the subscribers who don’t feel like they can contribute to the blog (not confident in their writing skills, don’t know the characters well enough, lacks free time, etc.), they can send what I call “suggestions”: “I think Character A/Character B C-S would be interesting!”. I submit them and if anyone sees one that picked their interest and they wish to write it, well they let me know and I add them to the list.
Every time I publish a support chain, I credit the writer ^^ So you can always know who worked on it.
Also now that I’m done with college, I do have some free time, so I wrote a few support chains myself (Summoner/M!Corrin, Summoner/Tsubaki, M!Corrin/Sumia and I just finished M!Corrin/Nowi). Look for “Written by Shauni” or search for the tag “shauni wrote a support chain”. That’s me.
Hope this helps! ^^

Summoner/Young!Azura C-A Support
Written by @shauni-will-never-write
C SUPPORT
Azura: ...
(y/n): Let's see... The last team that reserved the training grounds cleaned up behind them... The damaged targets and dummies have been disposed of and replaced with new ones...
Azura: …
(y/n): I guess all there's left to do is to- Oh! Little Azura, is that you?
Azura: ...Yes.
(y/n): What are you doing, sitting alone in the dark like this? Is something wrong?
Azura: No... I'm fine.
(y/n): Truly? You know you can tell me if there's anything bothering you, right? Me or anyone else.
Azura: ...Everything is fine.
(y/n): ...
(y/n): (She hasn't lightened up at all ever since she arrived. I thought she would have stopped making such a long face by now, but looks like I was wrong... This can't go on like this. I need to take things in hand.)
(y/n): Um, say, little Azura! I was about to go to the storage room and do an inventory. Would you like to come with me?
Azura: To the storage room... with you...? I... I don't think...
(y/n): I know it doesn't sound like fun, but surely it's better than to stay here, mopping by yourself. Come on, I'll even show you my secret stash of orbs~
Azura: ...
(y/n): (W-wow, she's staring at me so intensely. I can feel her distrust drilling a hole into my face...)
(y/n): I won't force you if you don't want to come. I just thought it'd be a nice distraction.
Azura: ...What if you intend to hurt me? The storage room has only one door. There is nowhere to run or hide.
(y/n): O-oh... I...see...
Azura: ...Why are you looking at me like that?
(y/n): ...It's nothing. But still... I promise I have no desire to hurt you. Quite the contrary, actually. I just want to cheer you up a little... but I understand if you do not believe me...
Azura: ...
(y/n): ...How about we go tell Mikoto, Camilla and the Corrins where we're going first then? Even if I wanted to hurt you, you could call out to them and they'd immediately come save you! And I'll leave the storage room's door open, so you can escape if you ever feel like you need to.
Azura: ...That's...
(y/n): Up to you.
Azura: ...If they are aware of where I am and with who... and if the door stays open... then I guess... I guess this is okay.
(y/n): Really? So you're coming?
Azura: Yes...
(y/n): Awesome! Let's go find them then!
Azura: Yes... I think they're at the training grounds. Please walk before me.
(y/n): S-sure! Follow me! (Wow... she doesn't even want to turn her back to me. This is heartbreaking.)
[(y/n) and Azura have reached support rank C.]
B SUPPORT
(y/n): Unbelievable... No matter how many times we clean up this storage room, it always goes back to being a mess. How does everyone keep mixing up the regular Badges and the Great Badges?
Azura: ...
(y/n): Haha, look, Azura! This is where I'd put my Arena Crown!... if I had one.
Azura: I see...
(y/n): More seriously, could you please take a look at the Refining Stones? They should be in that basket on the bottom self, to your right. I'll, ah... move so you won't have to turn your back to me.
Azura: ...Okay.
[Azura kneels down on the floor to check on the Refining Stones, but not before the Summoner has done as they said.]
(y/n): Could you please count them? There should be only ten left since I used a hundred yesterday.
Azura: Okay... 1, 2, 3... Ah.
(y/n): Azura?
Azura: ...What are those?
(y/n): Huh? Oh, these? They're accessories. We've collected a bunch over the past few months. Most Heroes don't care much about them but I find them nice, so I keep them here.
Azura: I see... They're... pretty.
(y/n) *smiles*: ...Would you like to wear one?
Azura: Eh?
(y/n): If there's an accessory that catches your eye, then you can have it. Take your time and look at them, don't be shy.
Azura: ...I can take... any one I want? And keep it?
(y/n): Yes. Think of it as a gift.
Azura: ...Okay... Then I... I think I'll take this one.
(y/n): Oh? Good choice! It looks so cute on you!
Azura: You... you think so? I, um... thank you.
(y/n): Haha. You can go and show Mikoto and the others, if you want. I'll stay here and finish.
Azura: ...Really? But... Okay, I'll go do that... and then I'll... I'll be back. I was supposed to help... so I can't ditch you like this.
(y/n): Aw... Alright! I'll wait for you. Be careful not to trip when you run.
Azura: I'll watch my step.
[(y/n) and Azura have reached support rank B.]
A SUPPORT
(y/n): I swear, one day I'll find out whoever causes such a mess in this storage room... We cleaned it up three days ago and it's already back to its original chaotic state!
Azura: Indeed... It's very odd.
(y/n) *sighs*: Well, guess we have to do it all again. I'm sorry, Azura. It must be even more tedious and boring for you than for me.
Azura: No, it's alright. You... you were right, it keeps my mind busy. And spending time with you... isn't a bad thing.
(y/n): Oh, Azura... Thank you. I'm flattered.
Azura: Shall we get to work then?
(y/n): Yes! Um, where should we start...
[Suddenly, the door slams shut. The whole room becomes pitch black.]
Azura: Ah!
(y/n): Huh?! The wind?
Azura: No! No no no!
(y/n): Azura?!
Azura: Stay away! Don't come any closer!
(y/n): Huh? W-wait, where are you? Be careful, you're gonna hit something and-
Azura: Quiet! Leave me alone! I-I trusted you and now you... Please leave me alone, I haven't done anything! I... I... I'll scream and C-Corrin will come and s-save me...
(y/n): ...
Azura: ?! Y-you're moving! I can hear you! Please, no...
(y/n): Ouch!
Azura: ?!
(y/n): Stupid shelf! Augh... Hang in there a little longer, I think I'm almost there...
Azura: W-what?
[The Summoner opens the door. The storage room becomes bright again.]
(y/n): There! All better!
Azura: ...
(y/n): Azura? Are you alright?
Azura: ...Yes... *sniff*
(y/n): Oh, Azura...
Azura: *sniff* *sob*
(y/n): ...Here. I'm moving away from the door. You can escape if you don't feel safe.
Azura: N-no... It's fine.
(y/n): Fine? But...
Azura: I'm not crying because I feel unsafe. I'm crying because I feel so guilty. The door closed, I panicked and I thought you were going to hurt me... but you didn't. And even though I must have hurt your feelings, you're not even angry. *sob* I'm sorry... I'm sorry...
(y/n): There, there, it's alright... No need to worry about my feelings. They're tough, you can't hurt them that easily!
Azura: *sniff* Hehe... That's fortunate.
(y/n): ...I can't even imagine what you had to go through in Nohr. You look so wary and alone all the time...
Azura: ...Nohr is such a scary place... Children smiling, but their smiles are masks... Women in pretty dresses, hiding knives under their petticoats... Always whispering, always lying... Mother always said... never to turn my back to anyone... or else they wouldn't hesitate to-
(y/n): It's okay, Azura. You don't have to tell me. For what it's worth, you can find solace in knowing that, here and now, you're safe. And even if someone wanted to harm you, I'd protect you. Everyone here would protect you.
Azura: Truly...?
(y/n): I promise. Why, we wouldn't let anything bad happen to our cutest little singer!
Azura: Heh... I'm the only little singer here.
(y/n): Which also makes you the cutest!
Azura: Thank you, (y/n)... And thank you for reaching out to me. It won't be easy but... from now on, I'll do my best to open up and give people the benefit of the doubt.

Summoner/F!Kana C-A (Parent/Child)
Written by Shauni
C SUPPORT
(y/n): Aah, fresh air... So sunny... Going out for a walk is the best decision I’ve taken in months. It could almost make me forget about-
Kana: Mama/Papa!
(y/n): Irk!
Kana: Found you! Papa had to go training with Aunt Hinoka, so he told me to go play with you!
(y/n): H-he did?
Kana: Yes! You’re always so busy, we haven’t spent much time together yet. Oh, were you going out? Shopping? Can I come? Pretty please!
(y/n): N-no, I wasn’t... Actually I was about to go back inside. Got some work to do. Skills sets to write down.
Kana: Eh? But why were you heading towards the forest then?
(y/n): I, ahh... just wanted to take in the scenery a little bit. Now break time’s over. Have to go back to work.
Kana: Oh... Still, can I come with you? I won’t make a noise, I promise!
(y/n): It’d be so boring for someone your age! W-why don’t you go find Nowi and Fae? I’m sure they’d be more than happy to play with you! S-see you later, Kana! Work is calling me!
[The Summoner leaves.]
Kana: ...
[(y/n) and Kana have reached support rank C.]
B SUPPORT
(y/n): (It’s late... The hall is empty... I can reach the bedroom in 10 seconds... Almost there...)
Kana: Mama/Papa.
(y/n): AAH! K-Kana?! What are you doing here, hidden in the dark?!
Kana: I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to scare you! I was waiting for you...
(y/n): Huh? Why? And why aren’t you in bed?
Kana: I... I sneaked out after Papa tucked me in...
(y/n): Oh God. If there’s one thing I know about children, it’s that they need sleep. Like, a lot.
Kana: Sorry! It was the only way I could see you!
(y/n): What do you mean?
Kana: Every time I try to spend time with you during the day, you’re always busy... and when you’re not, you start sweating and stuttering and then you’re all quiet. Could it be... you’re avoiding me?
(y/n): W-what? Me? What makes you think that? Haha... ha... Y-you should go back to bed now.
Kana: ...
(y/n): ...Um... okay... what about... sleeping together?
Kana: Together? You mean... I can sleep with Papa and you?!
(y/n): If that would make you happy, yes.
Kana: Wow!! Yes, absolutely! Thank you so much, Papa/Mama! *hug*
(y/n): Ah! I can’t open the door if you squeeze me like that!
[(y/n) and Kana have reached support rank B.]
A SUPPORT
(y/n): Um, Kana? Could we talk for a minute?
Kana: Mama/Papa! I was just polishing my Dragonstone. Do you need me for a fight?
(y/n): No, nothing of the sort. There’s just... There’s something I’d like to tell you.
Kana: Oh? I’m all ears!
(y/n): I, um... wanted to apologize. You were right. Since you’ve arrived, I’ve been avoiding you. I should have been honest with you the first time we met. I’m so sorry, Kana. I shouldn’t have behaved like that.
Kana: I-I see... So you really were avoiding me... *sniff*
(y/n): Kana?
Kana: *sniff* Mama/Papa... What should I do to make you love me? I’d do anything! But please love me...
(y/n): Wha?! Kana, no! I already love you!
Kana: Y-you do? But...
(y/n): The reason why I’ve been avoiding you isn’t that I dislike you. You’re my daughter, and a lovely child, full of optimism and kindness, just like your father... I could never not love you. In fact, I don’t think anyone in their right mind could not love you.
Kana: But you said you were avoiding me...
(y/n): Y-yes... But it’s because I felt uneasy.
Kana: Uneasy? Why?
(y/n): Kana, do you know how old I am?
Kana: Ah, um... well... You’re young and beautiful, Mama/Papa!
(y/n): *chuckles* Thank you. The thing is, where I come from, I’d be considered too young to have a child... I’m arguably too young to even be married. When you arrived and I realized who you were... I felt like I wasn’t ready... so I panicked. Every time we interacted, I couldn’t think of what to say, how to act, what to do... I was afraid you’d find me boring and cold. Kana, I still have no idea what to do. That’s why I was so distant... I’m so sorry.
Kana: ...
(y/n): I-I won’t run away from my responsabilities anymore, I promise! I don’t know how to be a parent but I’ll learn! I’ll ask Deirdre, Chrom, Robin, Arvis... I’ll work hard and be a parent worthy of you!
Kana: Heehee. It’s okay, Mama/Papa. I forgive you. I’ll learn to be a good child too!
(y/n): No need to. You’re a natural.
Kana: Mhm~ Can I ask you something too?
(y/n): Oh? Yes, what is it?
Kana: You said you were too young to have a child... but how do you make children?
(y/n): ...I don’t know. We should ask Corrin.
Kana: Good idea! I bet he knows! Let’s go, let’s go!
(y/n): (What have I done?! I’m so sorry, Corrin!)
[(y/n) and Kana have reached support rank A.]
