Shikataro getting some Shika Crackers, his favourite food and a specialty in his hometown Nara.

しかたろうは鹿せんべいを買いに出かけました。

In the slides behind I added some impressions from Nara, where actually deer live freely. On slide 3 there's a shika (deer) cracker seller. Visitors can buy those crackers to feed them to the deer. The deer are actually very greedy and tourists have to be careful with their food (and sometimes also clothes and bags XD) on one slide you can see them even eat the paper of the lanterns 😅

Some people here might already know that tea ceremony is a long time hobby of mine (yet I am still an intermediate learner due to long breaks) if you ever have the chance to visit a tea ceremony or a tea ceremony presentation in your area, I can highly recommend visiting it. It is very relaxing to watch and delicious too 😋🍡🍵

Tomorrow I will attend hatsugama chaji, which is the first tea ceremony in the new year and I am very much looking forward to it!

I worked on this project since September and it is finally done. So proud that it is finally online! 🥳

The biggest reason why I started this calendar project was because of a company where I, as a client, always got a free calendar. However the company stopped producing printed calendars in order to save resources. Therefore, I thought I might want to swap to a digital calendar, and why not design one myself? And that's how the Shikataro calendar was born.

It may sound like self praise, but I've been test using the calendar since about two weeks and I really enjoy using it. 💗

The last days including Christmas I spent most of the time drawing the last stickers and creating the manual.
