A Gintama chapter a day keeps the ending away...Lesson 206

MY FAVORITE MOMENTS IN LESSON 206:

Can’t blame their horrified reactions: Urara did look like something out of a scary movie.

Okita carjacking his bosses.

Okita breaking the 4th wall.

Gintoki’s touching assessment of Shipachi’s sweet nature.

Hijikata being a bit of a dick about the chick’s who’s about to commit suicide. I know that’s horrible but unfortunately Hijikata has me in the palm of his hand so I’d forgive him for anything. Sometimes I feel like I am collared and he’s holding the leash attached to me.

All the boys being total dicks.

Poor Kondou and his A Type complex.

Gin-chan can really be so sweet sometimes. Melts my heart.

Shinpachi going all Love Actually was so supremely touching! That boy deserves a real girlfriend...one day....

SHIPS TALLY:

GinHiji: I mean, really, they should’ve just gotten a room.

ShinKirara: I ship Shinpachi with someone else now (Nobume) but it would have been nice if things had worked out with him and Kirara. Sure she has issues and they would have had to maintain a long distance relationship, but at least he had more of a shot with her than Otsuu or any of his 2D chicks.

GinOki: cuz there’s always this shippable vibe around them, especially since Sougo is so subservient around Gin-chan.

Disclaimer: Gintama is not only about shipping. Gintama is hilarious, clever, exciting, poignant, heart-breaking, loving, brilliant, and just so freaking amazing.  It is only due to Sorachi-sama’s generosity that I can enjoy Gintama on yet another level, the shippy level, and I am forever grateful for that. GINTAMA IS LIFE AND LOVE.
