Chapter Summary: Silaestra is still fighting to retain her sanity against her Urges. Astarion feels absolutely awful. Excerpt:

“Well, like you said … Whatever happens at Moonrise is dependent on what happens tomorrow.” Her hands were twitching as she raised her hand to brush her hair back from her neck. “And we’ll all need to be at our best for that.”  It was an objectively stupid idea to let him feed from her now, when she was so exhausted. He might need his strength tomorrow, but so did she, and he’d already taken more blood than usual from her yesterday …  But what if she lost control tonight during her reverie? If she was weakened from bloodloss, maybe that would be enough to prevent another accident. Shadowheart could cure the worst of it come the morning.  “Sweet, delicious darling … How could I say no to that?” Astarion closed the remaining distance between them, cool hands cupping the back of her neck and the small of her back.  A shiver run through her as his fangs pierced skin. Her heart beat faster.  She’d be lying if she claimed she didn’t like this. The pain of the bite was grounding; his body pressed against her slowly grew warmer with each second, and a part of her yearned to sink into it. Her own skin often felt too hot, burning up, scalding almost, but right now, that feverish heat was dimmed. Dimming further.  Astarion almost felt warmer than her now.  He stopped and pulled back slowly, licking over the bite, and his lips. She pressed the handkerchief to her neck to still the rest of the bleeding. She felt tired enough to sleep .

So, in one supplemental material for DnD 5e there is a spell called "Galder's Tower" (a 3rd level spell that lets you conjure a tower for 24? hours with a couple of floors that are customised to your liking). Basically this spell is canon for my BG3 continuity and Silaestra learns it after the defeat of the Netherbrain. It's basically a Home-To-Go.

This is relevant because she can basically magic up a nice lil tower for Astarion and herself before sunrise which means they're a lot more flexible in planning their routes etc bc they don't need to scramble to find shelter from the sun.

It also contains a cuddle corner. The cuddle corner is important.
