BREWING ROMANCE Glowing Stars

THIS IS NOT CANON Since i know i havent worked on BR for a while since im focus on the splits into three i thought i write something to feed you all for now thanks to @lizaluvsthis art of our boys that inspired this! SMG3 and SMG4 design for the AU by Liz!

Summary:SMG3 needs some help testing new paint and who better to help him then his cafe boyfriend SMG4

Tags: fluff, comedy, just two idiots in love, establish relationship, glow in the dark paint, two gays being cute

SMG4 hums as he walks into the cafe, it was exciting coming to work these days. Who would have thought dating his ex rival would make such a huge impact on his mood, he lets out a soft smile as he looks at the night sky before turning around. He pauses, staring at his boyfriend who was glaring at the walls “Stare at that wall anymore and im going to start thinking you rather date the wall,” he giggles as Three turns around startled by the man.  He rolls his eyes as he approaches his partner, gives him a peck on the cheek then smirks at him “You're an idiot, to think i'm stuck with you.” 

Four blushes looking away from his partner, he swears he has gotten too weak to that smirk of his.  “So what's the deal with the glares?” Three walks to the back room and takes out two cans of paint “I was planning on adding new art to the wall, was thinking of testing this new glow in the dark paint!” he flashes a huge smile at Four making the man feel close to passing out from how charming it was. SMG4 takes a deep breath to relax himself “Will the paint dry in time for when we open?”

He nods as he pops the cans open “Please you think I would do something like this and not have a plan?” Once he is done opening the cans he hands a brush to Four. Slowly he takes the brush and watches as Three removes his hat placing it on a table nearby. He then ties his hair into a bun and starts drawing stars on the wall, Four then removes his hat and follows what Three is doing. After a while of painting he turns his head and smiles lovingly at Three, the man had such a relaxed expression on his face as he paints that Four couldn't help sneak up to the man and plant a kiss on his cheek.  Three pauses before turning to face his boyfriend, Four was expecting the man to get flustered over what happened. Instead his blushing partner used his free arm to wrap around Four’s waist bringing him close “Oh uh heh i couldn't help it you looked so relaxed when painting!” it wasn't fair why he was the one getting flustered at the interaction. Three smirks “Idiot, i knew you found me attractive when i draw, after all i have caught you staring before.” 

With that he leans in kissing Four. With a hum Four drops the paintbrush to wrap his arms around his partner's neck, he remembers the time he would daydream about moments like this now here he is on cloud nine kissing the man he loves the most. Three pulls away, his face beat red “That was pretty gay of us, now shall we finish the wall?” Four giggles and nods as they return painting the walls. Once done SMG4 sits on the counter watching his boyfriend clean up the cans, then he releases his hair making Four blush. If anyone asks him what his number one weakness is he would never admit it's his boyfriend with his hair loose. Three smirks as he walks over to the light switch “Alright, ready to see our glow in the dark art?” four gives a thumbs up as Three hit the switch.  The stars they drew on the wall started to glow alongside bits of the pairs uniform, Three giggled as he got close to Four “See told you glow in the dark art is awesome, to think you complained about them being for kids haha!” Four rolls his eyes at the teasing. His partner wasn't wrong about the paint, it made the cafe have a different feel. His eyes then rested on his boyfriend who was glowing with joy at what they did, slowly he scoots closer to him  catching Three’s attention. With a smirk he scoops Four off the counter making the man squeak “While the stars we painted look amazing, i think the best art is the one in my arms right now~”

SMG4's face goes bright red, he hated how Three could get him to be a flustered mess. It should have been the other way around, He thinks, trying to catch his boyfriend off guard. Seeing how Three was carrying him bridle style he wraps his arms around the man's neck leaning close to his face “You're not so bad yourself handsome~” then kisses him.  Three blushes and returns the kiss excitedly, distracted by their love bubble they don't notice Mario was coming over for a late night visit to get some spaghetti. Seeing the pair kiss he chuckles taking a picture of the pair kissing surrounded by glow in the dark stars “Ah the gays so happy they finally got together!” He then posts the photo online and runs off before they notice what he did.

It was after hours of 3's Coffee N Bombs and the boys had just finished up cleaning up the place. he coffee shop was empty, excluding the two meme guardians and their children that are enjoying their play day together! Soft calming music was playing in the background as they were finishing cleaning up the place ready to call it a night. SMG4 sighed in relief as he was turning around to retrieve the two empty cups that SMG3 and himself drank after a long day of coffee shop chaos. He was about to hold the cup and plate sets, to get them to the back and get them cleaned up when he felt someone eyeing him from behind. He turned around to see SMG3 with his hair down, leaning backwards at the counter behind him staring at him intensely. It felt like the stare was eternal. Four was about to say something until he felt his hand gently pushing his hair at the side, staring at him in a way that he could feel his body get chills by the touch and the way his warm ruby eyes pierced through his blue eyes.

Four had never seen Three react and stare at him with such fixation before. It was as if he was lost in his own thoughts, internally debating to either ask or make an intimate move that could change their lives. While entangled in this tension, he also was lost in thought and seeing small details about Three that he never noticed before. He loved the way his raven like long hair made him look very handsome, the way his battle scar made him look badass, and the way his hand, after setting his hair to the side felt on his face. He can feel the heat of Three's hand through his soft gloves, almost leaning into his former enemy's hand by instinct. Four , slowly ventured towards his lips that remained shut but held a powerful hold on his soul. He couldn't help but stare at them for a moment, thinking about what would happen if they made such contact with each other. SMG4's eyes widen, blushing at his thought of actually moving closer to SMG3, feeling their bodies, and heartbeats connecting their lips together as both men continued staring at each other in silence, the soft music, and both of their breaths being the only thing that can be heard in the empty shop.

Okay I get how long I've been gone, but I have a life too y'know.

Anyways, I've thought of an idea for an SMG4 AU. I know it's gonna seem pretty stupid, but that's why I'm trying to get you guy's input.

[Start scene]

Inside of III's Coffee N' Bombs in SMG3's room, he's seen repairing some familiar looking TV. He's on the floor with this TV and seen attaching some wires in the back, finishing up his TV repair. After he's done he closes the back of the TV and it starts to flicker back on.

Mr. Puzzles starts to wake up, feeling all groggily since after the end of SMG4 Movie: PUZZLEVISION and being yeeted away by SMG4. As he starts to open his eyes to look around, he eyes land on SMG3 just staring at him. Puzzles started to get worried since SMG3 was a victim like the rest of the SMG4 crew. Though SMG3 on the other hand was glad Mr. Puzzles was awake and active.

SMG3 picks up Mr. Puzzles and places him on his desk, so Puzzles doesn't get broken on the floor by 3 stupidly tripping over him. It's midnight and SMG3 would like to get some sleep and Puzzles takes notice of this, so he'll ask what's going on in the morning.

(Morning)

Mr. Puzzles wakes up to see SMG3 up and around, drinking coffee and seemingly getting ready to run his cafe. Mr. Puzzles thinks this is maybe the only time he has to ask him a few questions.

Puzzles then begins to speak to SMG3.

Mr. Puzzles: "Uh… why did you… repair me..?"

SMG3 turns to face Mr. Puzzles

SMG3: "Because... I believe you deserve a second chance."

[End scene]

Heres a bit of detail:

Heart and Spade both have the black and white pattern for their symbols meaning it represents that they both have the kind of "sibling bond" with each other

Heart and spade both wear hats than book

Both have hair on loose while book has it tied

Both have earrings than book

Both have folded sleeves than book

Both have weird effects from the scar than book

Both have their symbol pin than book (having his own manager pin)

Only spade wears the chain belt for fashion (and probably does not strangle someone with it if they complain)

Spade has black ripped jeans

Heart's Criss-cross and Spade's hat were made by Four specifically to match their liking

Heart's shoes have heart patterns from the foot

Spade's shoes have spikes around

Book's shoes have a ribbon design of mocha brown color for his liking

Spade has spikey bracelets

Heart wears a bow tie, Book for a fancy necktie, and for spade nothing at all.

(Spade does not like to feel strangled by the ties so his two unbuttoned shirt reveals a bit of skin.)

Four is the one to give Book a hairtie

Spade's hair is loosened than it was supposed to have its hair up (but due to four's compliment about his hair down- he did kept the word)

Heart has braids on the sides (Book did the braids)

Book wears formal

Spade wears a bit of more 'epic clothing' to be in the cool style-

Heart wears pink kind of valentine

Heart has a bit of white tainted eye from the scar due to the feelings and emotions he expressed

Spade has it closed due to the shut down from his person-ego

Book remains the same but a bit more head focused
